Hermès Silk Knots

When I first found this app years ago there were over 25 ways listed to tie a scarf. New app shows WAY less. Too bad because this WAS a great resource.

This app could be so much better than it is. First, the number of options on how to tie a scarf is ridiculously low, and most are more complicated that probably the average scarf wearer desires. I don’t want to learn how to make a top with my scarf, thanks, I would like to learn options for how to cleverly and chicly tie my scarf, from basic to more advanced. Also, the one option I did like, it turns out the scarf I would need is larger than the basic (90 square cm) size; someone else here wrote in a review that you should be able to edit based on scarf size, and that’s correct, that should be the first consideration. Finally, if you see a scarf you like and you click on “View this scarf,” it doesn’t take you to that scarf specifically, it takes you to the opening page for all scarves on the Hermes site. This app is a HARD FAIL. You should’ve asked a fan to do it, not whoever produced this.

I enjoy learning new ways to tie my scarves. I hope they add more styles; there are hundreds of options but so far only some are featured. They should also note the size of the scarf, so users can understand more clearly. The app works fine on my iPhone X. No problems, only Hermès gorgeousness!

My mom has been going through chemo and I thought I would treat her to a scarf. The sales associate in the store told me about this app, and I was excited to show my mom all the different ways she could wear the scarf on her head. But the app doesn’t include any headscarf options. In fact, it includes very few options in general. Do better Hermès.

App works perfectly for me. Beautiful clips, show a few styles for men and women! Hope they update with some new styles!

I’ve reload it twice. To bad, It had potential, but It’s just not working at all. Disappointing.

There’s only 6 ways to tie and they all use the large 140 shawls, sometimes two! And then a twilly slim on one bracelet tutorial . I was hoping for more creative ways to tie my 90 scarves. Pinterest is a better resource.

They have some cool styles but i wish i could actually understand the steps on the stupid cards. (They should make videos for all the styles b cuz those cards are useless)

Nice store associate showed me the app. However the video doesn’t even load so I can’t even tie the limited options they have.

So disappointing that it doesn’t deserve even a single star. Number of offerings (knots) are so minimal that it’s laughable, and the app just DOESN’T WORK. Hermes, you should be ashamed of this paltry effort. It’s embarrassing for such a renowned company.

Every time you click a video it just shows the carriage moving indefinitely. I wish the app would work to learn how to tie my new scarves.

Nothing loads — just shows a carriage animation for everything.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and the videos are not loading for me. I just see the carriage logo animation

This is a great resource. Please add pocket squares examples!

The only feedback I have is the link to the new scarf store is great in concept, but you then only see what is available to buy instead of showcasing the entire collection. Also the way the scarves are shown in the store makes it extremely difficult to find if you are only interested in a particular format. The sorting by themes is not user friendly.

Cool app. Convinced me to buy the scarf that I was pinning after because it showed me how to practically use it. Looking forward to more cards including ones for the twillys (hopefully my next purchase)!

The videos are so helpful and I enjoyed seeing the products on a person before going to my local boutique. Thank you! Can't wait to go buy some new accessories.

I really like this app and all the different knots. Instead of carrying around the cards this is much more convenient and I can also favorite the knots I like.

This is a great app! The model shows a variety of ways to wear a scarf. The videos can be watched repeatedly until you master a particular knot. I am learning so much! I love it!

I hate digging my cards out of storage so this is a nice app to have when tying a new style of scarf. I would like to see more card additions.

After a few tries, was able to get it installed. May have been my internet connection as the app is large. Love it though.

What else might we expect from Hermes? This is as beautiful as their websites and Le Monde d'Hermes: charming, inspirational and a feast for the eyes. This app was well worth waiting for, and is very well done.

No idea what to do with the scarves you have laying around? This app teaches you. Beautiful illustrations...great short videos. Thank you Hermes.

Now I don't need to have many photos with models on my phone! ;-)

I had no problems with this app. It is fun. Great to see new collection. Hopefully they will be adding more knots. As a knot tying aficionado, these are fairly basic in the repertoire.

Beautiful and fun app for the scarf lovers ;-)))) A must have ! I took of stars, it crashes on iPad. It still crashes on iPad after the last update but working great on iPhone

Just like the traditional cards; so nice that there is an app. It functions perfectly. (:

Keeps crashing so no idea if the tutorials are any good as I cannot get past start page on ipad, ipod touch or iphone. Expected better from such a high end company producing an app requiring so much memory (344MB?). Recommend Knot Just A Scarf blog in the meantime for scarf tutorials.

This is a great app but there are only a handful of techniques. Would give more stars if there were more tying options.

this app would be more useful if: - clearer how-to strps for the uninitiated - ability to retain only the knots we like to save space - all those videos take up a lot of space esp when you can only really use some (eg don't have the largest scarves, or more than one of the same print)

A little bit of Hermès in an app. Fun and beautiful. I love the lucky cards above all.

Consumes a lot of space for the little bit of useful information, though I do appreciate the knotting instructions.

Very beautiful. Eye candy for us Hermes lovers. But please include how to use the scarf rings so that there is more useful information for us.

What a horrible disappointment! Crashes immediately. I'm sure it's great for those rare few that can actually open it, but the majority of us are just disappointed :(

I wish I could give it no stars. The fact that it won't even open is so disappointing for it being such a well developed company.

App doesn't work. It crashes every time I open it. Pity. Great idea for an app but it needs to work. Doesn't make a classy company like Hermes look very good.
