It had a problem this far. The 800 number helped alleviate issues registering. The app seems to be working fine and it’s both a relief for myself and for your representatives, because I don’t have to call anymore to make a transfer.
Everything I try to do with this bank frustrates me. I should have chosen another lender for our loan. Customer service has been painful to deal with. If you don’t do regular banking with them, loan payments are nearly impossible from another bank. There is no convenience, the mobile daily deposit limits are super low, mobile deposits are rejected for certain types of checks. Their website doesn’t have a link to their app so I didn’t even know they had one for about 6 months. We received a call from their customer service agent asking for DOB & SSN before they would tell us why they were calling (um, not giving you that over the phone, scammer….so I called them AND THEY SAID YES THEY HAD JUST CALLED). Definitely felt like a sketchy scammer call, not one I would get from a financial institution that I trust with my money. The website user interface is not intuitive - to be fair it did just get an upgrade. The mailed letters I have received contain spelling errors.
The staff is so helpful & sensitive to the members situation. To name a few, Disse, Cynthia & Sara. They’re professionalism was outstanding. They take the time to explain certain things & give sound solid advice. I’ll always remember the respect, privacy & willingness to help me when my father passed. Mahalo
It would be fine if facial recognition wouldn’t stop working every third time I log in causing me to remember my 700th 16 character password that requires 2 upper case 1 lower case and a special symbol that can only be ¥, {, /, or £.
I am no longer able to log in using the FaceID credentials. I was able to do this for the past 4 years. This device is registered, and logging in is now a hassle. Thanks a lot.
this bank is perfectly fine, but it’s the app that bothers me. the amount of times the app has been down and i haven’t been able to access my bank is insane.
I like the idea of the mobile app however, it still has inconvenient issues. I am consistently locked out of my account every time I go to either log on direct or touch recognition via mobile app. The only thing on the app that works consistently is the instant balance feature. I have contacted garrison facility who are always cordial and willing to walk me through. The problem is not them but, rather the system that is being used. Here it is week two after a customer service a correspondence. /r LKC
I love using this app to do my banking and to view my statements. But lately roughly about 3 or 3 months, I can’t log in. A notice would pop up saying to call 2 different numbers to get access to your account. I have no problem logging in on the main website, but on the app I can’t login. Which is strange because when I called the number that popped up, it called a hickam bank and got me a real person. I don’t remember her name already but I mentioned that I couldn’t login on the app, she said that the app has been down for quite some time for some reason. She said it was supposed to be up and running by the end of January but it’s past that and still isn’t letting me login. I will change my rating status after this problem has been solved and I can use the app freely like before.
This app lets me see an instant balance without having to log on, which is really helpful when you need to know how much you have available quickly. You can also enable electronic check deposit, I don't have to go to the bank anymore for checks! Easy layout and easy to use. I'm glad they updated their app.
Only gives last four but if you have similar bills you can’t always tell the difference. You should allow for a nick name so can tell the difference. Like Chase Old and Chase GMC
Update: this app didn't work before but after calling the bank they walked me through how this app works. You need to enroll on the online website first and then you will set up the questions. Logged in on the app now and it works like a charm and diggin the whole new layout. 3 stars only because I had to go through the hassle of figuring it out.
I used to rely on this app nearly every day, but it wouldn't let me log in one day out of the blue. After deleting and redownloading the app, the login requires security questions I have not set, making it impossible to access my account. I see other users are having this problem, and I hope it is fixed as soon as possible.
Deposit check requires to call bank to add feature. ASB does not. Deposit does not prompt specific words to write on the back of check. If you do not do this, deposit gets declined and you receive calls from FCU. ASB already has a prompt as you take your photo so you do not make this mistake. The back and forth between client and the bank is annoying.
Used it for a long time and worked fine. The app decided not to work anymore. Had three tries to use it with different errors before it told me my phone was 'disabled for mobile banking' which obviously isn't true since my other bank apps still work just fine. It said I had to go to some random website I've never been to before to enroll. Total scam as far as I know. If real, whoever invented this BS should be fired.
Not user friendly. Constantly having to log in on the computer and then I’m able to log in to the mobile. Then multiple times the app is down and doesn’t show any pending accounts.
I always have trouble logging in every couple months it seems. You can’t even agree to the new terms and conditions through the app you have to go on the website 👎🏼
It works when it wants to. For some reason every so often it denies my sign in credentials and I can’t login on the app. But using the same login I’ve been using on the website it works fine. It’s very frustrating when this happens.
The app downloads language packs (and other things) at every startup. These often fail, preventing usage of the app. The app needs to be updated to use TouchID. It also needs to be updated for iPhone 6 and 6 plus screen resolutions.
Every time there is an update something goes wrong and u can't login. 😡😡😡 same what other people r saying all u get r questions and I know some r correct as for others...I've never set those questions up. Please fix!!!
1. Didn't show my balances after I logged in and didn't tell me why 2. The sign out button is unnecessarily located under the "more" menu 3 would be nice if the app showed current rates 4 no fingerprint option 5 no contact us 6 no inbox for reading messages from the bank. It is a really really limited effort.
GIVE US BACK THE OLD APP!!!! Or build a physical branch in town that I can go to. I have ZERO access to my accounts since this stupid new upgrade. I've been a member of HFCU for 10yrs now & I'm seriously debating changing to FHB!
