Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this app. Even though I am not a client I find it very entertaining. It is so cool to see all the homes that are up for sale. I love figuring out how to work it and you can message your agent. You can even look at homes in other countries or states. It shows you photos of the homes, prices, when they were built, and more. This app is just a great way to spend free time. And I have found many homes I like. This would be very helpful for finding a new home. I personally would rate it 6 out of 5 stars. ;) (if I could)

Horrible glitches

I used to love this app but over the past 6 months, it has gotten worse and worse. First, every single listing has a thumbnail that says “no photos” but when you click the listing, it says X amount of photos. But when you click the photos, it gets stuck in a loading loop. Next, every time you move out of the app (like to send a text message), the search list resets to the top of the list and usually takes your sorting filter off (I like to sort newest to oldest, but it always reverts back to price high to low). I have updated, deleted, reinstalled about 5 times and nothing has fixed the error. The app is essentially unusable. For a while, I would use the app to find addresses of properties available and then google them to find photos, but it’s annoying to lose my place in the results list in the app every time.

Broken

As a realtor I used this app all the time to search for homes and get information It was quick and responsive. About two weeks ago it started asking me to log in each time I opened it up and when I try to log in, it says my log in info and password is incorrect which I know it is not. When I choose ‘forgot password’ it says it will email me a link to change the password but it doesn’t. I called the tech number three times and they say it’s a known problem and they’re working on it. It’s been close to two weeks now that they’ve been working on it. Very frustrating!

Decent App

So far the app is decent to use but would get more stars if it was more organized. Once you have a contact listed you CAN NOT delete him/her. This will cause clutter in your contact list. This would be a little more solid app if you enabled the deletion of contacts! It seems as if there is no perfect app on the market yet. Zillow is very user friendly toward clients but the info isn’t always up to date. For agents this app isn’t too bad BUT organization is a huge thing. Developers! Smoke the competition and change some features around, please! Make this app awesome instead of decent!

Love Homespotter

I have been used home spotter for 5 years since I joined the real estate industry. It is super convenient and foundational, but since year end of 2023. There are some features are not working well , when I use filter to nail down the property search it did not work anymore. Also when I found some homes in My mls but it couldn’t find from Homespotter donot know why. I hope can use this App forever it is my favorite tool on my real estate business,

Best app ever

I've never before found an app that I thought was so much better than the alternatives. This one doesn't make fake boundaries in your search around city limits. I can filter by all of the homebuying parameters that are important and then zoom the map in and out so any houses that fit in the map that meet those parameters will show up. Do not search for houses to buy using any other program or app.

Absolutely the worst

I am a Realtor and have used this app for years. This app used to be my #1 go to. I would recommend it to all my peers. In the last 6 months it had gone to trash. 3 months ago the App eliminated the ability to schedule showings. About a month ago they eliminated the ability to pull additional docs. Now… it is essentially useless. 0 quality information provided. 0 ability to use the fillers in any meaningful way. 0 ability to accurately search surrounding homes for insight/stats. I really hate to remove this app because it WAS so great- but at this point it serves 0 purpose. I’ll have to find another tool. Terribly disappointed in the new version.

Why

After using this app for a while I have grown to really like it. I like having the listing agent contact information and the ability to make contact directly from the app to clients as well. One feature I really loved was being able to look up supplements/disclosures on the fly. It saves time and paper to have it in your pocket or on a tablet vs printing it all off. Why did that go away? This is keeping it from getting 5 stars. Even scheduling a showing was easy, but this feature was huge. Please bring it back!

No customer support.

You better hope you never have trouble logging in or better yet, hope the realtor your using lets their license laps. I can’t even sign in with a new realtor now because every time I put my phone number in it says my realtor is no longer licensed with the mls. Great, I know that but now even with a link from a new realtor I can’t create a new account and can’t change anything with the old one and there isn’t even an option to use my email instead. Went to the website to see if I could long in there or if there was any kind of customer support and nothing. This app is a one and done can’t use it again.

Great for agents, terrible for clients

two stars because It works great for me.... Im a realtor and I have been using HomeSpotter on and off for a while. Recently I started using it as my primary mobile property search tool. I was hoping it would be a great tool to use for clients to get them away from Redfin or Zillow so I decided to invite 1 client... that’s where the experience crashed and burned. They got the invite but every time they try to set it up they get a “having problems connecting to the server” message. They tried deleting and downloading the app again but every time it won’t work. Maybe it works great for everyone else but me... IDK

Pretty Useless

If I could give zero stars I would. The app was useless to me. I created account but within a few days the app logged me out and wouldn’t let me log back in. It said my login credentials weren’t recognized. I tried to create a new account but said my credentials were in use already. I deleted the app and redownloaded and it was the same result. I contacted their IT who reset my account. I then created another account but within an hour the same issue started again. I told the IT rep to close the ticket because I’ll use an app that works. I have been using Trulia without a single issue. Don’t waste your time with this one.

Poor app for home searches

I have a great deal of difficulty finding homes I am looking for, which is not the case with the MLS site on a desktop or laptop. I often have to default to a google search and find the home I’m looking for on third party sites. Very poor user interface with selection criteria not registering. For instance I will be looking for a cancelled listing and it will often not display when I know there is a cancelled listing to be found. All in all an unreliable app that’s ipretty much worthless for searches. When I actually find a home I am trying to locate the display is good and easy to use.

You will be hard pressed to find an agent that will work harder for you than Traci… She doesn’t simply find a house and complete the transaction, she listens and searches for the home that is right for each client. She has a unique quality, an understanding, that she establishes with her clients to seek out the right home, within your budget. Her knowledge is exceptional … Is the structure well built? Does the water pass testing? Is the septic compliant? Is this a good school district? If you need assistance with financing, she helps with that too… Traci is a full service Broker/Agent and a delight to work with. Maury

“Active” listings are old

App is ok. My realtor suggested I download it to have a mobile friendly way to look up new listings but my biggest frustration with this app is that despite selecting “active only” listings it is showing homes that were listed (and sold) back in November of last year as still active. When using the “new this week” filter it eliminates everything when there are in fact new listings available that I see on MLS.

Not a suitable substation for northstar MLS

As an agent I would like to be able to batch homes together to send to clients and customers. Sending 1 message at a time with each individual home is time-consuming and annoying to the client. The app glitches (freezes or shuts down - won’t search the MLS# correctly) often. And I am unable to see coming soon listings. The app is fine on its own - but isn’t a suitable substitution for NorthstarMLS. Also every home I favorite never actually save to my favorites list.

Slow to upload updates.

I would love to see photos updated more frequently. Agents often add photos later and I’ve watched where it takes weeks for the new photos to be added to the site. Also, there are often open houses listed on other sites that don’t appear here. Perhaps a Friday update or even Saturday morning would capture more of the late-comers and changes. Otherwise, this is has been my favorite app to use with my clients.

App crashes and won’t let you login in consistently

App continually will sign you out and crash when you put a MLS number in the search. Works only randomly and consistently crashes any time you put in more than one MLS number at a time so you have to log in over and over. Also login to begin with sometimes just freezes and won’t let you login. Would love to see improvement as it’s been going on for ages and the bug continues.

Very slow app and sometimes not able to opening. Slowly listing information update then Redfin. Unable forward the listing to client over WeChat under LTE environment. Recording history not enough. Showing client listing with “No title “

Keep this app!!

Please don’t get rid of this app!! It is so easy to navigate and find info quickly. I am an agent and when a client asks for info in the listing during the showing, it’s easy to find everything. A thousand times better than MLS-TOUCH. Please do not discontinue.

Life is worth living again

I’m a spotter makes my life so much easier. My buyers love the app as a search tool. I love the app to confirm appointments easily. The spotter tool is David Blaine scary. The filter tools are magical. Thanks for creating this app which allows my face to attach to the introduction… I am rockstar now.

Nice but very bugged

This is a nice app overall but very bugged.... Issues include: - not being able to save a home because the “like” button vanished so I need to uninstall/reinstall - pictures not loading - every once in a while my chat gets wiped with all the homes I sent Improvements: - fix the bugs - allow me to view saved homes in the order I saved them, currently only filters by price - when new homes are added since the last time you opened app or any new homes you never clicked on yet, if they show up as a different color (like a blue) that would be helpful

Constantly Crashes

Unbelievably frustrating how this app crashes all the time. Save function stopped working, clicking on messages takes you to the center of the thread and you have to scroll down each time to get to the bottom, freezes and closes out a lot after I try to send a message... I only continued using it because our realtor has us use it to send him listings but I’ve used it for over a year now and it never gets better. Going to stop using it.

Great app when driving neighborhoods. Click and view for 99.9% of what you need to know with a quick auto copy of the MLS# that gets you everything else should you need it.

Love the ap!

This is an excellent, very responsive, intuitive and easy to use app that I use daily to search and save homes. I can save homes and to send to specific clients and I can directly interact with MLS. This is definitely my go-to mobile app for work and sharing with clients.

Best home app ever!!

None of those other apps can compare to the ease of this one! It works perfectly, I can communicate with my realtor amazingly well, I can even use the camera and point it to any house and it tells me the price! It’s amazing!!

Blocks Former Realtors

I’m trying to use the app to find a new home to buy, but it says there is already an account linked to my phone number and it can’t verify my MLS information. I am a former licensed realtor but not anymore. So I don’t have MLS information to verify, but I do have the same phone number. Their programming logic creates a block for me as a result because I used to be licensed. I can’t bypass the chat intro or sign in to adjust my settings!

Broken on iPhone X

This application works so long as you don’t switch applications. The application will freeze and crash when attempting to resume. The favorite button also does not exist on iPhone X. As infuriating as it is to use, the content and ability to work directly with my realtor on the same platform is really nice. My wife has the iPhone 8 and everything works fine.

Missing info

Can no longer access desktop version of MLS and agent remarks are no longer visible. This really hampers what agents can do when they’re out showing properties. Not helpful at all!

So buggy

Literally, the worst app that I own. It crashes constantly, the desktop version never loads, the sync time between the app and MLS can take days…it’s horrible. As a consumer, it’s probably great. As a realtor, it’s a tool I have to use and it constantly makes my life miserable. Oh, and this is the first negative review I’ve left on any app, service or product in like 5 years. I never leave bad reviews. That’s how bad this app is.

Great until

This app has been awesome until a couple days ago when I started getting an error when I click on a property. It says “Error Listing Listing.” Please fix this ASAP. I am a realtor and I use this app multiple times a day. I don’t want to use the Zillow app to send my clients properties.

It a a good app but need a better interface

I need quick access to certain things and it takes a long time to find it or it is missing. Cant look up tax records. Good thing you can copy addresses.

The app is so slow and buggy

The app idea is great but still needs a lot of fixes and enhancements. I use the app to connect with my clients. Sometimes the app lags and crashes. The crashes happens when I have multiple listings shared in the chat. The app starts lagging when loading the houses from the chat and then crashes.

Must have agent to view potential homes

My wife and I have different view of homes on HomeSpotter. Her app connected to our realtor. My app didn’t connect to our realtor so it looks different between us. It was weird. HomeSpotter Support helped me out to solve this problem. It works now. Thank you

Pretty good but some key features not working

The heart icon does not show up to allow me to save a listing, and I am unable to share links from within the app. The recipient (who also has Homespotter) cannot open the link without receiving an error. Other than that, the search functionality is good, and it is easy to set and save filters.

Couldn’t be more happy with the speed of pics when they load and you can see all of them instead of one at a time. Great alerts too.

Load Time

The app does not respond quickly. When you try to spot a home it has problems finding the home . Also it ask for a buck name to leave a review and every nick name I came up with was denied because it was taken.

Condo/apartments

This app is quite disappointing and I am only using the message feature to message our realtor. Listings for condo/apartment style homes are popping up even when we have a lot size of .5 acres+. This of course is annoying as we have to scroll through many homes that do not meet our criteria. Please make sure Listing agents are doing this correctly!

Terrible

This app just doesn’t work well. The idea is cool and all, and I understand how to use the interface, but it is missing to many listings to have me feel confident that I am seeing what is available. It is just one more dumb place to look and I don’t understand why realtors would even ask clients to use this. For me this app is a red flag not to work with an agent.

Best Agent AND Client App

A MUST download for agents AND clients. Our MLS system is beyond archaic and HomeSpotter lets me work in the modern area. I’m on it daily and send to all my buyer clients when I first meet with them. I’m not one to write reviews but HS is worth the praise. Seriously a must have for agents... LOVE IT!

Annoying app

I use other real estate apps but Homespotter is the most annoying. Why do all of the images & maps have to load so slowly every single time you open them, or tap on them or anything?

Wish I could email attachments from the listing

I used to be able to do this and email them directly to the client. For the last month, the wheel keeps spinning when I try to do so. This means a lot to be able to do this on the run. Love the app otherwise!

Great design but poor functionality

Very buggy. Having a lot of trouble with the messenger function. I’m logged out frequently and unable to get back in. When my clients tried to log in they were sent a message saying my license was no longer active, which is completely false. Frustrating app
