Solid app. Gets tasks done accurately and efficiently. However if you transfer money to other accounts after closing hours it will not post till next business day.
The app experience has improved - but HSBC in Mexico simply does not work. Have been a US HSBC customer for two decades and have had the HSBC Mexico account for 5 miserable years. The operations in this country are collapsed and you could risk losing access to some of your assets should you do business with them.
App transition worked with no major problem. The app is cleaner and less cluttered than the old one, faster as well which I like. It has all the basic functionality I need for my usual operations but there are other functions that are still missing (Global View, Global Transfers). Please add these in future updates. I’ll update my review as more features are added.
HBC Mexico is a joke!! There branches take 3-4 hours to see anybody..They take other people before you..There app is horrible the passwords never work and it ends up locking your account..I’m closing my account next week..And it’s there loss as I have over 200,000 pesos in there..But they just don’t care!!
Seriously guys. Get some help. Your app is so inconsistent in so many ways. And your processes too complex for the average consumer. Do some benchmarking please. It’s not difficult. Just copy some best practices and incorporate them.
The new app just does not work. Seriously, i think this is very disrespectful for customers who already had app working, and now your new system does not sent second verification to the number registered. Have called numerous times, and there is something that is always missing. Very discontent with your service
The newest update has rendered the app useless, I can’t log in, I can’t check my balance. I keep trying to log in and I just keeps in a loop saying to download the newest version even though I already did and it sends me straight to the App Store where I’m given the option to open it, I blister l on it and it’s asked me again to download the newest version and it’s imposible to click on other options. Don’t you guys beta test your apps before releasing them? Totally useless and it’s a slap to the face of costumers who the only means of checking the balance is through the app
This app only worked for a few weeks now it’s stuck on if I want to use a token or other options not letting me choose either one. I’m always having issues with this bank.
App just doesn’t work, been trying for days, guys at the bank could not fix it either, can’t make the new app work and the old one is unavailable because of this crappy new release. Clearly the previous one had major data security issues but a rushed release of a non working App is not the way to go. Seriously thinking of taking my banking elsewhere.
This app is completely useless, it’s an endless circle of getting logged out, then asking for a “mobile token” then getting logged out again, then going online only for the banking page to tell you that you can’t obtain the mobile token without the app. Probably the worst banking app out there right now, and that’s saying a lot.
Fix your “new” application and don’t release it and/or ask your customers to download if it’s not ready to use!!!!! How am I going to access my online banking if the old one doesn’t even work because of this new one. Please don’t suggest to go to “other options” because not even that works. Please fix this!
Neither of the apps work so I can’t even check my accounts by Mobil. I read a previous review and it says to click “otras opciones” which isn’t even clickable. I’m definitely going to cancel all accounts with HSBC as all I’ve had are problems with them.
The app did not work for the first few days after they forced us to switch but then they fixed it. It will not allow me to add time to my cell this función is gone. Sad the biggest bank in the world and it so Micky Mouse. Really HSBC can’t you do better? I am thinking of switching banks.
It is useless, it tells me to download the new app, I say No, but it takes to Apple store anyway since I had already downloaded it I click on OPEN, it take to the entering page of the old app and then back to the store, it never ends and I can’t see my accounts
I been trying to use this app for the last few months and I can’t even open it, worst app ever they should’ve stayed with the old version now I can’t even use the old one. Needs to be removed and keep the old one.
I don’t know how and on which feedback it was developed but this is zero consumer focused and really below any standard. There are no functionalities and the user experience is one of the worst. This is a potential reason to change banks.
The update takes away the token system!!! The new app tells you that you already have a Token on another phone and you need to transfer it... how do I transfer from old app to new???
Terrible, terrible app. It’s impossible to migrate, keeps looping back to beginning. Now I can’t make any operation through the app. Makes you want to switch banks. Really terrible!!!!

Desde la nueva actualización no puedo ingresar a mi cuenta, en cuanto entero me la cierra automáticamente. Ya borre la aplicación y la volví a descargar y sigue pasando lo mismo. Llame al centro de atención para pedir ayuda y me dijeron que borrar todas las cookies e historial, ya lo hice pero sigo con el mismo problema. ¡Ayuda! No estoy seguro de porque pero las hipotecas no están actualizadas a lo que son las tablas de amortización, también la hipoteca desaparece en la noche probablemente para hacer sus tranzas.
No puedo acceder a mi cuenta por ninguna plataforma. llamas por teléfono a los números proporcionados para “soluciones” después de tanto filtro terminado conclusión….el problema sólo tiene una respuesta como la solución ( de ir al banco para hacer la llamada desde el teléfono del banco.!)
