I have been a customer for 40 years. Now I have a really serious problem with an unauthorized account withdrawal on my account. Can I reach a live person at Insight Credit Union to discuss it, or leave a voice message for a return call...NO LIVE PERSON IN THE UNITED STATES TO BE REACHED...PERIOD. No matter what button you push or department you want to reach..Tge worst customer service I’ve ever seen with any company I do business with.. AND if you leave a phone message, you have no idea when they’ll call you back. All good as long as your money flows in. But if you have a problem to discuss with a live person, you’re out of luck. Bank somewhere else.
The app has majorly improved since the revamping of online banking. The only thing I don’t like is that the notifications of account activity don’t work. It did at first, now I never get any even though it shows exactly what notifications I’d like to get.
Every single time over the past few months I’ve tried to log in it tells me an error has occurred. I’ve tried reinstalling the app multiple times and nothing. I’ve called the number provided multiple times and they can’t give me an answer. I can log in just fine on my computer or even on the website through my phone, but it’s just not convenient. I wish the app worked, it seems like I’m the only one with this problem and I’ve gotten no help on fixing it.
Why launch an app for a financial institution that does not have all of the functionality it needs! The description says there is a bill pay function but alas there is not...where are you hiding it? I called customer support and after being on hold for 30 min and explaining my issue I was told that I needed to leave my contact info so a supervisor could call me back within 24 hours....because the employees don’t know how the app functions either! Not a fan of any of the conversion. Better get your act together or I’m moving to another credit union.
Glad to see bill payer works in the app now. Need to bring back being able to transfer to other accounts than your own. I used to be able to transfer funds to my kids accounts or my back up account but thats hasn’t been an option in some time
Love the new update! Works really well, and I like that it tells me as soon as something is purchased, whereas it would take a few days before. Super convenient!
What is right with this App? NOTHING! I cannot log into my account in the App. It says it does not recognize my credentials. With those same credentials the App does not recognize, I can use to sign in online no problem. Go figure! I am banking elsewhere. Since the core migration upgrade or change, banking with Insight has been a nightmare. I cannot access bill payer to pay bills or make changes to auto bill pay but it is still sending my old auto pays out. I am done!
Not all functionality is working yet after the upgrade of the core system, but so far a huge improvement over the previous app version! Works very fast, and Touch ID is finally here!
Liked the older version better. Changes were not available to the people. Bill pay moved from the older version and not informed where it went. It seems it’s left up to each person to figure where everything is.
Insight fails to keep members informed of all the changes they make. They fail to advise of when an option is available or not. The new system is awful and not what this customer needs. They fail to ask their customer base what they need from a financial institution.
Haven’t been able to log into anything or know my balance in a week now. The phone hangs up after calling for over an hour. Saddened by the fact that no one has answers to logging in app and I have to physically drive to the bank on my 1 day off out of the week. Moving banks soon. 👌🏾
I waited for over 1 hour and a half yesterday to get no where however I called today and was helped by Jennifer. I got in my account but I am not able to download the app back onto my iPad.
Been with the institution for years and it seems to have only gotten worse. At least once a week you can’t log in on the app or online to check your balances.
No one is answering the phone, I’m not able to log in, and I have not had access to my bank account in days. Why do such a stupid update at such an inconvenient time for everyone. I feel like this credit union is being ran by a 99 year old vet who hates technology.
It never works! When you try to call the number they give you, no one answers and you will be on hold for hours if you wait for assistance. It’s beyond frustrating to never have access to my banking info!
Core conversion ruined mobile banking. The mobile deposit is useless now. It was great before they changed it, now checks do not process in a timely manner at all.
