This app is very neat for anyone interested in the satellite industry. You can view all current and future planned Intelsat satellites and access valuable information about them. The list is up to date, graphics are great and the app is very user friendly. Looking forward to any updates that might come along.
This is the best reference for quickly designing telecommunications links via satellite. The maps and menus are all well designed and logically organized. Thanks for making such a useful app and please keep the updates coming!
This is a very informative and useful app. Would to see satellite uplink options for each teleport and active beacons frequencies for each satellite. A satellite pointing (azimuth & elevation) calculator would be handy, as well as a solar outage calculator. What about showing center of box times? Lastly, the Intelsat General ISOC left out of the operations centers listing - what's new?
There is a lot of good reference info. However it lacks features that would keep people coming back to it more than just for tech data. There should be some launch videos. There should be an industry news section. Stuff like that.
What a great App, easy to use and an excellent design. My two favorite parts are the ability to email a satellite beam map directly from the App and the future satellite deployments. I can't wait for the iPad version.
An easy to use tool for quick information on the basic capabilities of the Intelsat fleet. A great first version, and i am looking forward to seeing how it expands.
Same info as glossy PDFs. No TUG data, such as: - G/T contours - Beam Peak G/T, EIRP - Xpdr details: Attenuation or BP SFD - Link Budget Analysis Give me ASI for specific downlink E/S based on known adjacent satellite EIRP contours... That would be a useful app.
