Like others have said the tutorials could be accessible more than one time pop ups. I suggest adding a help page that users can go to at any time to see the functions of the game and when the “news” is available. Something that explains you have to click on the number of the stock to see its info because i also clicked them a milion times and opened and closed the app before i figured out i had to press the number.
First, it starts you off with no stock history or charts to use to make your initial purchases. And it won’t let you skip to week 2 without spending most of your funds to get some clues. So you are forced to blindly spread your funds across all the stocks and then see what you lose on week 2. Real traders do not guess. They have charts and history info to base their decisions on. They don’t simply see how much it went up or down without knowing it’s average highs and lows. Second, there is no indicator on the main stock page to see what you have purchased and how much. So you are forced to either memorize whatever you purchased, write them down somewhere, or tap on every stock after every week ends to see what you have. You should be able to see how many of each stock you purchased on the main screen to avoid this silliness. Third, absolutely no tutorial. It just starts you with a basic introduction and then plops you on the main screen. (I kept tapping on the stock names on the left and nothing happened. Took me a while to figure that you tap on its current price.). This game IS a great concept. But the lack of a tutorial and line or bar charts to use makes it unrealistic. All the guessing was making me feel more like I was at the casino playing the slots, than a stock market trader.
I love this game. It is super fun to become a top investor. I am at a point in the game where I want to start my own fund. However, the system is a bit broken. My 10% contribution is way less than 10%. Also it would be nice to adjust how much you were to invest. And your connections contributions do not accurately reflect how well you do.
I keep checking my stocks and they keep increasing but my fund is dropping. Some stocks reach such a price that you can no longer buy them. Second even when you have money it won’t let you buy some stocks. They should add more stocks or not only say let’s make a split but actually split the stocks. When stocks change from 186 million a share, I’ll change my review. I also don’t know how you can have a tax rate of >100% I’ve been getting taxed at 167% which means I give the “government” more than what I make?
Not a huge fan of the 4 week reports, I get it’s probably a detail thing to give the most accurate info after every few simulated weeks but it got annoying after probably 15minutes of play time. But, with that being said. I am glad that there weren’t any obnoxious ads every 5 actions like many other games on the App Store lol. So due to the lack of annoying and stupid ads you at least deserve 4 stars. It’s a good game, lots of detail. Just not for me.
I love the game, and highly recommend it. However, it hasn’t been updated in a while, and after 100ish years in game, the company market caps get unrealistically high. After 150 years, one single company (Santofe) grew so large that it became 95% of the entire market. It’s a great game. It’s really satisfying to make +100% a year, and really rage-inducing to lose 50% a year. I would say keep it up, but the devs haven’t updated the game in 7 months.
I love the game and play it frequently and have only ran into a handful of issues. One of the issues I’ve come across is after hitting 9 quintillion the game kept crashing no matter what I did. I don’t know exactly what this means but it could possibly mean that they need to increase the max amount of money you can have under management. Other than that it’s a great game overall.
Most stock sims are real simulators that get fairly boring, I like how this game incorporates the same thing but also combines it with a traditional life sim! I’m a bit confused about how to progress jobs so some more clarity at the beginning might be helpful! I played influencer recently and really enjoyed it! Great games!
The main way I played this was that I put everything into one stock and hoped for the best, sometimes I caught that one stock that would skyrocket and make lots, but once I made my own fund after a thousand years to get the 10%, it dissolves once you get an analyst review telling you to buy and then the stock shoots itself to -18% and the fund dissolves, losing you all your 10% you put in and having to start all over.
I have had this game for a while, within the last 4 days everytime I try to play the game crashed and closes itself out, both my phone and the game are updated otherwise I would rate it 5 stars
The game is absolutely amazing I’ve gained literally a trillion dollars in the game that’s how much I play it, yet even though I’ve purchased a yacht it is still glitches and won’t let me join the yacht club. Anyone have a solution or could a developer potentially fix this?
It’s a fun game, and my main criticism is the lack of an endgame. The game just stops once you have cornered the whole market. I also want to commend the devs for there being actually no ads. There are no ads for boosts, spins, upgrades, or anything else.
Great concept, just needs tons of work. The main issue with the game is when you hold a stock longer than 2-3 weeks 99% of the time it crashes. Inevitable if you do what real investors do you will not only lose all your money but will get fired. Lots of potential too for developing the character to invest in bonds, options, property, etc.
Super fun game but I now feel like I’ve beaten it. I have everything unlocked, I own 100% of every company, and the numbers in my accounts are insanely high.
Lots of rinse and repeat Some market caps almost want to go off screen. Overall I’ve spent probably too much time on this game which means it must be fun. More updates would be great I have too much money and nothing else to buy!
There may be a problem with the market its soaring and it’s starting to feel fictional my firm has soo much money but can’t necessarily do anything because the stocks have skyrocketed and can’t afford to purchase any maybe cause the market to potentially crash to bring some reality back into the game
I love the idea of this game, but when it comes to actually succeeding it is all luck. There is almost no way to actually analyze a stock, so when you buy one you just have to hope the price goes up. Please make it so that there is more information on each stock, and have more news that affects stocks. If there is something I am not seeing or some advice you have for me please let me know!
Fun. Real fun. Although stocks won’t split when approved by the board. Some stock just go up into the Billions and never come down. Only a few stocks to choose from. Really great base game he created, and hopefully he expands on it just a bit more.
is it just me or does every stock you buy immediately go down? because every time I seem to buy a stock in the game it goes down so far that I get fired from the fund management.
I downloaded this app to learn more about how stocks work and the app is just stored on my phone since. It has no tutorial to show you what you need to do to use the game. There is no info on the companies you can invest in. Even after picking a few to buy nothing has changed, still in week 1…😒
Can someone explain how to actually grow your sticks because I invest in multiple stocks and if always goes down no Mater the insider information I recover or the news that I see I still go down. So can someone somehow replay to this and tell me how to grown. Thank you
I made it to #1 global bout a week ago and all of a sudden I started crashing when I press next week also I can’t launch my new fund because it also crashes it’s making the game unplayable and losing my spot on the leaderboard
I love this game, though I think it would be nice if we could use leverage to increase returns as many hedge funds are levered 8-1 or so. I think that would be nice
Really amazing game, captures the genre, can’t wait for more!
I want to say that this game is amazing!! It really captures that fund manager aspect and stock market aspect, I know the game just came out but it’s on track to be really phenomal (it already is!) Some things you should add (You probably have these things in progress): - Dividends - More stocks - More scenarios
Missing the most important part of trading/investing
CHARTS!!! Where are the charts!?!? How are you supposed to beat the market without stock charts!? This game was super fun, but got frustrating when you can’t keep the quotes straight day in and day out. It would 100% be a 5 star game if it had charts
This is a very good game. Takes luck and a lot of calculations. I'm lokking forward to sinking a lot of hours in this game. And one day do the real deal
Really enjoyed this game. It won’t let me go past the year 2090. Just crashes everytime I push the button to progress through week 16. Account is currently and $175,390,810,239,09… quadrillion. Fund is at 10.9 quintillion I believe. Average quarterly return of 37% Total returns generated $10,901,761,483,345,775,000
