At least you can see configuration items now, and there’s a web view to the full IT Glue mobile site. But I just updated to a literally brand new version and can’t use iOS auto-fill from my password manager to log in (like nearly every other app, even those that haven’t updated for iOS 12), and they reference TouchID but not FaceID (FaceID works, but not mentioning it makes it feel completely outdated). Still not paying attention to the basics or polish on mobile, a year later. Especially for the cost.
I have been using the mobile IT Glue off and on for the past 2 years and have not seen any new improvements rolled out that address the top concerns that we users have given feedback on in various places. PLEASE take the time to develop this app more, and make it actually worth using! The fact that Documents core asset isn't even viewable, much less editable, from the mobile app is absolutely ridiculous. This is an essential portion of our knowledge base and not having access to it via the app is extremely inconvenient. The app also will regular "forget" your stored credentials and force you to login to the app again (even if Touch/FaceID capability is turned on). Huge pain when you're on the go and needing to quickly look up a customer WiFi password, for example. And why isn't Touch/FaceID supported for SSO-enabled accounts?
This app is garbage. Put some money and time into updating it to a useful app that works. On a 14 pro max the buttons cut off on top of the screen. Also get Face ID working. It’s a PITA to have to type in my password every other second when the app logs you out. Get documents viewable from the app. Make it feel likes it’s an app written in the 21st century. You have your sales people calling me about every other day. Put your resources into your products and development first and foremost. Will stay away from Kaseya software until your model changes and I would recommend to any one else to do the same.
I love their main product but their mobile app is unusable. It’s a literal dumpster fire. When you have a client that has sub folders and passwords within those sub folders, I would expect to see folders that I can select when I’m looking for a password. Nope, not how it works. The mobile app ignores the folders and lists every single password as a giant list. You’ll never be able to find the password if you’re looking for a “modem” and you have 32 entries that are labeled modem for 32 locations all within their separate sub folder. Maybe I’m using the app wrong but I don’t think so.
It would be extremely useful to simply remember the ‘subdomain’ and ‘email’ at the login screen. The app itself is somewhat usable, but very cumbersome. Attempting to find an initial admin password in front of a customer takes no less than 5 min and makes us look foolish. Some cleanup and polishing would make this easily a 4-star app.
Face ID was working for a hot minute now it’s impossible to get it to work. App immediately logs out as soon as it loses focus / backgrounds, forcing you to spend 2 minutes in front of customers to log back in. The app is behind a locked iPhone, there is absolutely no reason it should be logging itself out every time. Huge inconvenience and it’s costing us productivity of our technicians. This has to be a joke.
Glad ITGlue finally rolled out an app! Still kinda clunky but Im sure it's still in the works. Only got password database enabled so far which isn't why our company uses ITGlue. Documentation would be great to use on mobile but I'm guessing they're working on how to have it displayed correctly on the screens and whatnot. I will fix my review as time progresses with each updates.
This app needs an overhaul. You should by now be able to auto fill passwords from a password manager when you login, but you instead have to jump back and forth. The the data and the interface are too dissimilar from their foundational offering on the web. For a company that is supposed to be one of the top documentation platforms in IT I would have expected better.
Difficult to navigate, missing important features on app, interface doesn’t display properly, no integration with IOS passwords, needs to be updated with the functionality available on the web app/website
You need to login CONSTANTLY. In the past FaceID would work for a couple hours, no longer. Literally every 5 minutes you need to authenticate and put in MFA. Kaseya has taken a bad product and keeps making it worse. IT Glue should be ashamed of themselves for producing and not fixing or maintaining this app.
- SSO issues - Display issues on iPhone X and XS. There’s been a year at this point to address this. - No FaceID support. Also been out for a year. I’d really understand if we weren’t paying as much as we do for documentation software, but this is just crazy. There’s software I use at 10th the cost that keeps the pace better than this.
This app is somehow not optimized for the newest iPhones. The top and the bottom are definitely not optimized. Has only 10% of the features from the website.
I can log in using single sign on but it logs me out after 5 minutes. TouchID doesn’t do anything and forgets it was turned on after it logs out. This app will only be useful if it will stay logged in with Touch ID turned on. Wishlist: It would also be nice for to have a Safari workflow and api integrations for links. We like to share documents via slack and it’d be nice to access those.
Accessing client documentation with this app is time-consuming. The interface is difficult to move from section to section. I thought it may be my resolution or zoom setting, but it’s not. Update this app or remove from the App Store to avoid wasting other people’s precious time.
Our org wants employees to use ITGlue for both customer and personal passwords. Personal passwords can only be found in web app and take 5 steps to get into them. Hard to view web app and search is difficult to use. Not really impressed.
Please add the documents section. It kills my soul that this is not in place. This app becomes an inconvenience more than anything if small things like this aren’t addressed.
Why doesn’t this support password autofilling at login? Why can’t we view documents in a documentation app without going to the web app? Why don’t most of the buttons work? Why is IT Glue the industry standard? Someone please make something better. The bar is very low.
Does not work on an iPad which is a shame since I do a lot of work off it. Screen shrinks to an iPhone display. Can’t get past Favorite organizations. Stopped from that point, chalking it up to not iPad friendly. Deleted. At least web works off iPad.
It’s beyond me how these “premium” service providers in the IT space are either behind the ball when it comes to mobile or just simply don’t QC their stuff.
You will lose me as a client permanently if you don’t make a decent mobile app by the time my contract is up. I don’t care how much I’ve invested I am not going to support it any more if I cannot edit things on the fly. Get with it! Banks, health ins, everyone has touch/face id and usability.
Doesn’t work, cannot log in, eventually it locked my account. Formatting is awful on iPhone X. Doesn’t appear they have updated it for the modern times.
Can’t even save your creds via Touch ID for more than a few hours. Need the ability to permanently save if Touch ID is enabled. Obviously configs and flexible assets needed too.
Every few day I have to enter my credentials, this us so annoying. Why if Touch-ID enabled APP asking for it. Can you please fix this in a future updates?
Hitting the + button doesn’t seem to work when attempting to add a photo to documentation. This goes for the android version as well. Interface and overall usability pales in comparison to Hudu. You can mostly just check passwords and can’t pull up documentation. Severely needs an overhaul.
