Jump Jerboa

This is the perfect game if you are looking for a relaxing platforming game, and you can’t stand all the ad filled garbage that is becoming more and more common. The levels get progressively harder in each stage, as your cute little jerboa is introduced to new game mechanics and progressively masters them. The crown for beating all the levels and time trials is soooo cute! Maybe as an additional method of supporting the developer, if you buy ad-free then you should also get like an alternative skin for your jerboa? I think if this was just like one more skin it wouldn’t take away from the minimalist charm that this game brings, but it would also give more reason to purchase ad free. Also for a lot of the time trials the times seem to make no sense, it looks like you just waited for the jerboa to hit the wall and come back on levels where you can speed run it by jumping right away. This makes some of the last few levels insanely hard in time trial, since that concept doesn’t seem to apply as immediately jumping is not an option. I beat all of them and all trials as of writing this, and I am excited for new levels! (Also take your time this game is amazing and I can really feel the effort you have put in) So in summary(not really a summary) download this game and give it a go, you will love it!

For a mobile game, this games simple aesthetic art, it makes one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played before, the levels are difficult in a great way with the controls being incredibly easy to learn even for a newbie. I loved this game and managed to beat it within a few weeks and it took me over 1000 deaths, despite it all it wasn’t ever in frustrating in a bad way but rather made me think of new strategies to beat a level instead. I originally thought the time mode would be based on how fast you beated the level with a mini leaderboard to show other peoples time but it was even better than I thought, I was limited to a certain amount of time in which I had to use every second I had and not make a mistake. Keep up the fantastic work and games!

This is the first game in a long time that I’ve been so invested in. The mechanics are easy to learn and new ones are introduced the further you get into the game which keeps it fresh and exciting. I found some of the levels difficult but in a great way. I had lots of fun trying to figure out each of the levels and every completed level left me greatly satisfied. The music is also amazing and fits the aesthetic perfectly. I can’t recommend this game enough! Thank you Mr. developer sir for a absolutely lovely game and I can’t wait for more levels! Also I saw another review that mentioned having a shop system to buy different Jerboas and I think this is a great idea and would be a fun fit for the game.

This game is relatively new to me, but I’ve beaten every level because it is designed so perfectly. Also, there’s 3 bonus levels on a different menu, so make sure you do those too! They’re fun too! Each world introduces a new mechanic slowly to you (the first level in each world is easy to teach you without real instructions). And then the rest of the levels in that world get progressively harder. This is the perfect way to design this game! Really love the wings in the 13th world (currently the last world). World 13, level 1 is my favorite level because I just love double jumping back and forth- no enemies or spikes or anything. Just makes me feel like Spider-Man, and I love it.

It is a great puzzle platformer. It’s challenging but not so challenging that it feels unfair. It took me abt a week to 100% it. I can in all honesty say that it feels as if every level was play tested 1000 times during development to maximize the fun and satisfaction that you get by playing and figuring out each solution. The mechanics of the game are introduced at the perfect times and they all work together flawlessly. The music is a 8/10. The sound affects are 9/10. The game is free so it has ads but they never feel as if they are being shoved down your throat. The only semi bad thing I can say abt this game is that it’s short (but the developers are making more levels).

I’ve only just gotten the game and already love it. I’ve sorted by most critical for reviews as they tend to be the most honest and none of the hate was for the game itself, plus the Devs seem to be insanely active with all the reviews I’ve seen! If I had the money I’d definitely spend to support. The game is a fun challenge too! Unlike most other mobile games where the good quality games have low quality content! It has ads but not too many that if feels overwhelming, 1 ad every like 6ish games is very very reasonable. Overall one of the best games I’ve downloaded in awhile! Definitely give it a chance!

This is honestly one of my favorite platformer games - and it’s for your phone! The level design is great, and I like all the gameplay mechanics. The level progression is very well done as well. It starts off easy, but gets quite challenging towards the end. There also aren’t many ads. I believe you get one every few levels, which is definitely reasonable. Overall, this feels like it should be a computer game. You can tell the devs really cared about the finished product, and I think it turned out great! If you’re reading this and you haven’t already downloaded the game, what are you waiting for? I promise you you’ll have a good time.

For what feels like a decade, mobile games have gotten progressively worse and repetitive, designed purely to grab your attention, play 5 ads in a minute, and then be uninstalled so you can then play a near identical copy paste add driven game. This game, however, has legitimate effort put into the game, polished mechanics, fun level design and a style reminiscent of adult swim games that I love. The quality of mobile games needs to go back to the way it was, and developers need to look at more games similar to this as a role model. Absolutely splendid game and a breath of fresh air. Only issue is that I need MORE levels. Game is too good for only 99.

I have spent hours playing this game, trying to max out my completion, and every second has been very enjoyable. It is good at going from easy to hard, not too fast and not too slowly. This game is really fun, has a great soundtrack, and is overall just awesome. One thing, however, is the story. There is not much of one, and if the creator incorporated more of one that would be great. Maybe even a boss fight every 15 worlds, I dunno. Think about it. Some features you could add into upcoming worlds are: jerboa Mech suit, shadow jerboa, more jerboas, different enemy types, multi-room levels, I dunno.

I don't normally review apps but this little game is a true gem. Love the one tap controls for easy couch playing. Super easy to get sucked in and play level after level. I found myself constantly focused trying to max out every level. I love the time trials as they force you to look at the levels in new ways that maybe you didn't see the first time in order to complete it as fast as possible, not to mention the genuine feeling of satisfaction when you pull off some sick wall jump combos. Can't wait for more levels! Great job dev

this game reminds me of the type of games i played as a kid during the early 2010's, before ads became literally inescapable. there's a polite ad here and there, and there's ACTUALLY AN OPTION TO PAY FOR NO ADS!!! (only 1.99$) as far as the gameplay, it's nothing groundbreaking ofc, but it is enjoyable, and it's done well. the mechanics are introduced in easy-to-understand ways and the levels build upon and combine said mechanics pretty well. game is a cute and fun little time waster, which is exactly what i want from a mobile game. good job devs 10/10 :-)

This game is very fluid and satisfying to play, and the feedback is superb. I especially like the way momentum is carried into wall clinging; I would love to see a level where you have to slide up a wall through a thin gap in a ceiling using the double jump. Something a bit more out there that would be nice is a level editor, which would let us turn up the difficulty a lot. Maybe it could export with a text string? In any case, I'm excited for whatever the developer decides to add to this game.

What can I say….Jump Jerboa has me hooked!! I originally could not master all of the 13 worlds. I admit, I had to uninstall it, but I was craving to go back to beat all of it! I managed to master all 13 worlds and made such an accomplishment. I am patiently waiting for world 14. This is a phenomenal addicting game and I want to applaud you on how well made and challenging this is. I am glad I reinstalled it and I find myself going back for a third time to play the levels to hold me over! Keep up the amazing work!!!!!

So I have to say that this is a great game and typically if you have nothing to do it with your time then you can spend hours and hours trying to get all the gems and do the stage correctly so yeah I just like seeing the flag on the platform and I recommend this game to anybody who doesn’t know what to do with their time. But you could always go out and get fresh air anyway I rate this game a 10/10 other than those red running demons they can totally die and with that good bye. :)

I remember seeing this game in the “coming soon” section. When I saw this game I was already interested in it even tho it wasn’t out yet! I never really get excited for a game that isn’t out yet so I needed to download this game. I have only been playing this game for 5 minutes and I already LOVE IT!! I never saw a game that has a jerboa in it! and I really love jerboas because they are so CUTE. Even though I struggled with some levels I still enjoy how fun and cute the game is. Keep up the good work :3 <3

this game is stellar! it starts off simple enough, but transforms into so many mind-bending puzzles and techniques you need to figure out in order to two-star every level. there are ads, but they're very few and far between, and non-intrusive. there's also an option to disable ads and support the developers (which you should definitely do.) this game is so fun and i hope more levels are added soon!

This game is perfect for killing time or playing while taking a break. It’s very simplistic and easy to learn. The adds are used modestly, you can usually play for 5 minutes before seeing one and when they do show they don’t interrupt gameplay. Overall this game is amazing. The levels are fun and at times challenging but not to complicated that you’ll rage quit. Everything is just right.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I just finished all of the available levels after a multi-hour binge and I had to share my love for this. Deceptively simple, with the workings of a truly unique experience, easy to learn mechanics that don’t hand hold, instead utilizing fantastic level design to introduce each new mechanic naturally and cohesively. Can’t wait for more levels to be made, incredible job!

I do not normally leave reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised to come across this game. It is a hidden gem! The platforming is simple to control, but some levels really make you think! The Ads are not overly obnoxious on this game—the developer even warns you before they come up. That kind of consideration really struck me as something a great developer would do. I really appreciated that. I’m looking forward to seeing more of this game in the future!

This game is just a masterpiece. If you are looking for a game that barely has any ads and has difficult, but not impossible, levels, then this game should be checked out. Throughout my time playing it, I had some hard times, but with constant practicing I could complete the levels extremely easily. I definitely suggest anyone to at least try out this game.

I haven’t had this much fun in a mobile game in a really long time. This game is so refreshing. After downloading so many of those rushed out games by Voodoo and other developers those games can’t even compare. This is definitely my favorite mobile game and no other app can touch the fun I’ve had in this. Please devs, make more levels. I swept through every level in 2-3 days and it leaves me wanting more.

Would recommend. I’ve been searching for a fast paced game that I can play in short sessions, Jump Jerboa is perfect for that. The game has an incredible design that keeps the player engaged. It’s user friendly and simple, but not overly simply to the point where it’s boring. The levels are short, but sometimes require the player to think hard which is nice.

This is a great platformer the mechanics were easy to understand. I’m really curious about the lore of this adventure why were there so many kitties trapped in cages? What is our main character running from? Am I thinking too much into this? I’m also excited to see if there will be some speed runners doing this game maybe any % completion or 100% star completion?

I needed something to replace social media and this was the perfect fit. It challenged me but not so much that I was frustrated. I completed all of the levels within (maybe) 2 days and I want more!! Wish more people knew about this game so we could support the developers. Until the next update, I’ll be playing these levels over and over!💫

Good solid mobile game but I’m here to ask if anyone else has seen this message in game: “What number are you”. Today, when I first opened world 11-1 I had a screen pop up with the usual grey dark background with one line of text that said “what number are you” it stayed on screen until I tapped it and it went into the level. Has anyone else seen this weird cryptic message? Am I seeing things?

I don’t normally give reviews, but this game is something else. The mechanics are really easy to learn, but difficult to master. I think more modern platformers should take notes from this game since it’s truly an experience. A few things that I would like added: A shop where you can buy skins. Some form of a level editor system (I know it would take some time but it would be pretty cool) And maybe some form of a hardcore game mode where you play through all the levels and if you die you reset of something along those lines. Over all amazing game would highly recommend since you can put a minute or 30 into playing it at anytime. Keep up the good work :D

Really great platforming from a developer who clearly cares about making a fun game rather than making a quick buck with gacha nonsense… will definitely watch for other titles from this developer… the basic game is tricky but accessible and the progression system encourages mastery of skills intuitively. Time trial mode is really challenging!!! Thank you for making a great game 5/5

It’s very rare to see games that respect the portrait aspect ratio and control simplicity of phones. Jump Jerboa does both while offering very well-designed levels and a highly polished pixel look! It’s very fun, challenging but reasonable to fully complete, and respects my time & money as a player. I really couldn’t ask for more from the game besides more like it ☺️

It does so many things just right. It’s a really great progression of difficulty, super simple interface but fun, engaging levels, and the jerboa is really cute. I also love the music, really sets a good tone. Such a solid game, really appreciate it. I am definitely checking out what else this developer has made, and thank you for your work!

This game doesn’t really re-invent the one-button mobile platformer genre (one as old as iOS itself) but it executes it very well. The levels are fun and the routes to two-star levels are satisfying to execute. Maybe it’s my gamer brain leaking, but I wish you got something for collecting stars. Maybe new colors for the character?

I have played this game through many times in hopes of loading it up with a new level set. I was so happy to see the bonus 3 levels added not too long ago. Please keep creating levels for the game I really enjoy collecting stars, which I can sadly no longer do without a reset of the game.

I started playing this game about a month ago. I thought it was pretty interesting with all the levels and coin pieces, I invested a lot of time playing it and got to the end. One of my favorite parts of the game is the time trial where u put your own personal bests in it :D great game would download

I love this game. I beat it in about a week or so and have been trying to get better times of the time trials. It’s fun and challenging. I can’t wait for new levels to be added. I only wish this game had a time for an entire world instead of just one level. Otherwise though it’s a very good game.

I’m normally not a fan of the auto-runner platformer genre, but the developers did a great job. Tight controls too. The developer even has a feedback link. Awesome. Keep the games coming. Even the ads are well done but I feel obligated to spend the $1.99 to support this developer. Great developer! Please support him!

It kept my interest all the way through. The puzzle designs were engaging and I felt fulfilled when I finally figured each one out. I can’t wait to see what new and innovative puzzles will be coming out in future updates. Keep up the amazing work!

I had so much fun with Slight Chance of Sawblades that I wanted to check out the developer's other work. This platformer was so much fun. There are new mechanics introduced as you progress which keep the game fresh. It was challenging but never frustrating. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Just the perfect amount of challenge, gets a little frustrating but its worth it. Not too difficult and thankfully not too easy. Perfevt for me, im sure it will be for you too. I just beat the game and am now working on the timed sections, cant wait for 13+ levels

This game has revitalized phone game fun for me since playing Clash of Clans back in the day. It’s so simple to understand, with great game mechanics, lovely and clean art, and a great soundtrack to bring it all together. Excited to check out other games by this dev!

This is just a really delightful little platformer. Truly, one of the best in the App Store. It’s right in the sweet spot in every way…controls are perfect, levels are progressively difficult but never too difficult. New concepts are introduced and ramped up at just the right pace. Really, really excellent.

I did I project in 5th grade about jerboas and they have been my favorite animal since. My friend showed me this game since he knew I liked them and I have been playing every day since. I finally beat all of the time trials and can’t wait for the next update!

I’ve only just downloaded the game, but I can tell that it is going to be amazing! I’ve only had one ad so far so I’m glad it’s not 2 seconds of play then 30 second ad. But this game is really great. 10/10 download it if you don’t have it.

Simple. It’s so simple, yet introduces a new mechanic in each world and brings in previous mechanics in seamlessly. Mechanics generally don’t need an explanation, except cannons but that was very minimal. Overall, a fantastic little game to play in your off time. :)

-Micro transactions and ads are minimal. -It was very challenging and when you finally beat a tough level it feels rewarding. -During one of the levels you get dialogue, and I think this may be a hint to a story the devs are working on. -Each stage there’s something new and fresh to experiment with. On some stages you have trampolines, portals, and cannons. -I will guarantee you one thing, this game doesn’t get old in the 108 levels. All in all, it’s a return to baseline platforming and simplistic fun. It really is something unique in the AppStore, and I love it ❤️❤️❤️

It is a very fun game, very few adds and great platforming. A pretty large variety of levels and the time trial mode is a wonderful challenge, since it seems like most of the levels were built with it in mind.

i’m obsessed! i beat the whole game in a less than a week because i just couldn’t put it down. i loved the retro arcade feel paired with the modern reaction time and cute animation. the ads are in between levels instead of half way through trying to beat one which is perfect! not to mention how kind and responsive the developer is. you can tell they are really passionate about what they do and i’ve already downloaded all they’re other games!!! i wish them absolutely nothing but the best! <3

I like this game and I have been waiting for an update and the addition of world 13 for a very long time and I am very happy with the new update, I just went through world 13 and I really liked the new mechanics, I will wait for the next update
