This game is better than chess. At first my heart would pound and I felt a bit guilty. However, over time, I realized game strategies that are revealed and it never gets old. This isn’t a quick play. You can go for days, possibly weeks. There is no time pressure, only deep rationalization. Not only are you learning a skill to identify corruption links, you also learn to minimize your corruption to get ahead. Awesome graphics, know the grid. It’s free, it’s dark. It doesn’t save stats or top levels. It’s once chance at longevity. You literally have to pick your moments in life to play and you must maintain a focus. I hope they make more tools like a madlib where you fill in real people’s info we connections and it gives a full real life investigative scenario.
Excellent game! This is a simple and entertaining game that considers implements game theory concepts in a satirical manner. The developers deserve kudos for meticulously detailing the cards with a backstory. After downloading a player that takes the time to understand the algorithm can find this game very entertaining through the mixture of random and calculated game play in a very simple layout. Genius.
I have a deep interest in AML/CFT anyway, so this naturally piqued my interest. It's a card game setup, and is really easy to pick up. Shows how moving dirty money works and how kleptocrats essentially stay ahead of investigators. Fun, entertaining, and educational for all levels.
This addictive strategy game has some clever tricks, but needs some work to flesh out errors like "enjoy" cards being completely eliminated during game play (thus, no place to move your money without dumping a card to an investigator), or by setting up game start with the investigator adjacent to the only "take" card. Some strategy goes a long way, but you can't win when the game hasn't been balanced properly.
Interesting and fun for about one session of game play but once you start unlocking cards the it becomes extremely easy and horribly repetitive. I've now reined for 21 terms without loosing, over the course of about three sessions, and am totally bored with it. I'm only giving it three stars out of respect for the organization who made this and their real world fight against governmental corruption.
Takes a few plays to get the hang of, which then becomes a really fun and satisfying game! Good to play on my morning commute to get the heart pounding :)
I got from the card text that it would add to card a number of black squares equal to the number of red squares that it had, but instead it added one black square to all cards with at least one red square.
