Using the Purevis 2 is so so nice! // Pls add the option to use a darkmode theme in the app + Add live interactive widgets pls :) * Also the water logging seems inaccurate. I drank about 9oz of water before midnight yet nothing logged. I took a tiny sip (1oz) of water a few hours later, and it logged 10oz all at once, even though 9oz of that was consumed before midnight + Perhaps have the app auto switch to the next day of tracking once you drink water? currently it logs water on the correct day, but you have to manually move to the next day to few current tracking each day, or force quit the app and reopen
I’ll start off by saying I have plenty of larq products. So far the purevis2 is my favorite, I just wish they had a 40oz version, but I won’t be picky. The app works as intended, I’m still testing to see how the liquid tracking algorithm works, but this app desperately needs a widget, specifically to see your daily progress. As easy as it is to open the app and wait for the sync, it would be much more convenient to have a widget to monitor it from the Home Screen without needing to open the app.
The products themselves are 11/10, would recommend. We have a few of the original pureVis bottles, a pitcher, and the new PureVis 2.0 bottle. All are excellent. The hydration tracker in the app is a neat idea, but it could use some refinement for accuracy. I used it today for the first time, and it registered about a quarter of the water I drank from the PureVis 2 bottle. It was the most accurate while I was running on a treadmill, so the pick up & put down movements were most exaggerated, so maybe the sensitivity of the sensors is too low during normal drinking or something. Regardless, it’s a cool idea and I hope they continue to hone the accuracy.
Got this pitcher due to the quality of tap water in America these days. From all the news after PFAS or PFOAS (forever chemicals) and EWG’s water quality testing in my local area I thought I’d be a good idea to invest in the best water pitcher I could find. This pitcher has all the third party lab tests to back its claims and the taste of the water is the best I’ve ever had. Better than Voss, Essientia, and all the expensive water bottle brands. This will save you money on bottled water and will benefit your health in the long run. It’s worth the price tag!
This pitcher is useless if the app doesn’t work. Otherwise, I can just get a different and cheaper system. But the water is good and the idea is good. It just doesn’t work. the app looks nothing like the stats shown in the picture. It is offline 99.9% of the time. I have to physically go re-pair it to check the battery. It’s not tracking the filter. So what’s the point? I can get a cheaper pitcher and write the replacement date on a memo pad cause that’s what I have to do here. There’s no notification to recharge the battery or replace the filter. And, if there is a fix, since I see a lot of other people have had the same issue, why aren’t you posting it in the FAQ??? Or even here?
I’m usually not the type to use apps to track my lifestyle but I downloaded this one so I know when to change my filter and it works great! The newer updates have definitely improved the overall experience. I can now see my water intake every week and can challenge myself to drink more water! I do see that they have a tracker now to show how much money I’ve saved from using a water pitcher vs buying plastic bottles. It’s a nice bonus!
The pitcher works wonders, the water that comes out of it tastes great and the purifying process is as satisfying as ever, every time. The only issue I have is with the app and the auto clean setting. It keeps turning itself on, no matter how many times I turn it off and make sure it’s off. I think any water I leave in it overnight will be fine and anytime I add more it’ll purify it all anyways, so I would prefer if this function was off to increase battery life on the wand. Please fix this issue, some way, some how. Thank you.
The taste is superb. I’ve always had brita and it made me not drink water much. I also didn’t trust that brita did what it claimed. I love seeing the uv light in action and I can see the cleanliness in the container as well. Brita containers would get foggy and have crusty hardwater stuff but does container stays clear. I hope they come out with a larger water dispenser though because i have to refill this one after every two pours or so.
I read and heard a lot of hype about the filtration, but my water is still noticeably from the tap after filtering. It’s time to replace my filter, but it’s not worth the cost at all. I ended up using it to water my plants, but getting 5-gallon drums of purified water delivered is cheaper (by half or more) and easier (how many times to I have to wait for the pitcher to refill to equal moving one 5-gallon). I wanted this to be a good product, as I appreciate the tracking and communication from pitcher to app. I’ll say I was able to get used to the filtered water as being “okay,” but I can get better for cheaper, so I’m out. Cool product idea, I wish you good luck in finding your market.
Huge fan of this product and company so this review is prob biased. Water from the pitcher comes out great no issues. The UV wand did stop working, contacted the company and they replaced it for free. My only issue is that the container receiving the newly filtered water is plastic. If they made another version of this with a glass bottom I would instantly buy even if it was slightly more expensive
You think at this price point the product designers would have been more thoughtful. Flaw 1: the app only works if you’re within an couple feet of the pitcher. That means if you ever want to check out your stats you have to walk to your refrigerator, wait for the pitcher to go online and then load data onto the app. Flaw 2: the pitcher itself is okay, but the there is a flap top that isn’t removable. That means, when you fill it up with water you’re going to be spilling water onto the flap and into the top compartment to be filtered. Who came up with this idea? Brita’s design of a removable top where the water wouldn’t touch the outside of the pitcher is 1000% better. Just seems more sanitary. Overall, pretty disappointed in this product and app. It was a good effort but maybe next time work with actually PD’s that actually know what the customers would want. Seems so intuitive. . .
For such an expensive bottle I would think the app would be a little more up to par. Inaccurate water tracking. Several times I’ve taken a drink, I’ve seen the sensor light go off and yet the app shows nothing. So far, this app seems to need a lot more work. Obviously, I know I’m drinking an adequate amount of water, but the big sell on this water bottle is not only the purification of water on the go, but the fact that you can track and monitor your hydration intake. Do better.
App connectivity, water filtration, UV self cleaning. You got it all! Still need to occasionally wash it because I ended up getting mold in areas the UV light doesn’t get to. But otherwise, my skin is clearer and this is the freshest water you’ll drink from the tap. Wish the battery in it last longer however, only petty complaint.
The app only works if you’re standing right next to the pitcher. If I’m next to the pitcher I can see the status light on the pitcher and know if the battery is charged or if the filter needs replacement. What’s the point of the app? UPDATE-looks like the app automatically updates status when your phone is close to the pitcher but when you are away from it you can view the last updated state.
I love LARQ! I have the pitcher and both water bottles. My only complaint is that I can’t track how much water I’m drinking with the bottle, only what is used from the pitcher. It would be great to have the whole picture. I’ve had many compliments on how great our water tastes and love the smart features. Would recommend to anyone!
I bought the pitcher because I needed a serious upgrade from my 10 year old Brita pitcher. Now all I keep wondering is if and when you’ll come up with a larger fridge filtering container. I have to fill my pitcher up constantly. It would be nice to have a couple gallon container I could fill and place in the fridge with a spout!
Like others - app issues and no way to get help. Your answer to send an email is frustrating. You could offer a couple of suggestions on this feed so others might solve the issues while waiting days to get a response to email inquiries. My issue - it says no connection. Offline. Need an update. Tried the update multiple times but nothing works. Deleted app and reinstalled. Same problem. Please get better customer support. Thank you.
I’ve had the water filter and water bottle for about a month and wow all i can say is my water intake has significantly increased. Both of these make my water taste much better and the fact that they clean themselves is insane to me. Highly recommend and 100% worth it.
The app is quite inaccurate. For example i installed this filter on june 30th and my app now thinks my filter was installed on July 28th. The app doesn't seem to remember things like this and is always offline. I also live in a townhouse and my phone is always upstairs so maybe the app can't communicate with the filter. I almost don't see a point to this app since I manage the replacement date on my own calendar.
You can taste the difference in water between my old filter and the larq my one only thing would be if it could filter the water faster but again not a big deal compared to the quality of water you’re getting.
Unfortunately this app doesn’t support essential apple uses like Home Screen widgets, Apple Watch complications, or the ability to set up reminder notifications as you progress towards your water goal each day. Not having these elements means the habit building skills are not reinforced through the app as well as they could be. Bottle works great, but the app isn’t a strong enough companion.
The Larq was recommended to me by a friend. I love the quality of the water. My tap water is disgusting- I’ve seen the rock sediment that build up in the faucet & pipes I have. The Larq takes care of it all. I’m on the verge of the $100 investment into the water bottle, bc I actually pack my larq pitcher when I house sit.
I love my LARQ. I thought my other filtered water system provided great water. LARQ is hands down producing better tasting water. I drink a lot of water and consider myself an H2O snob. This water tastes smooth and silky. I know water is wet but this tastes wetter. I’m giving this for holiday gifts this season. Cheers!
I love the subscription and the app. The only issue I’ve had is when I moved and had to change my address. Changing my address did not update my subscription delivery. Two of my filter orders wound up going to my old address.
App works great, but wish there was an Apple Watch app
Having the ability to add water intake from an Apple Watch would be a wonderful QOL addition. It would also be great if there could be an option to have a notification reminder to drink water as well.

I'm deleting the app since it's useless with the more expensive bottle. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You don't think people who spend money for the high end bottle want to track their hydration? How stupid.
The app doesn’t give users the ability manage subscriptions, track orders, etc. It also doesn’t have the light key so that user can check what the different colors indicate. For both of these key functions, you have to go to the site. Seems like they just stopped adding features to the app. Wah wahhh.
Had the Larq pitcher for over a year and so far it has been functioning well. Its a thoughtfully designed product which helps fit into daily use seamlessly. In terms of output, the water has a neutral taste which hopefully is free of contaminants as advertised.
The LARQ pitcher gives fresh, tasty, healthy water in a pitcher that is both easy to use and pleasant to look at. Keep it on the counter, it’s worth it. Plus, it makes you want to drink more.
I have had my LARQ water pitcher for five months. I love the filtration design. To be frank, though, I don’t know much about it. The app seems to work pretty well. I carry the water pitcher with me when I travel.

Very nice and I am trusting it does what it says on purifying water. So far, I have being using it and it give my mind rest because the blue light that’s claims kills bacteria and Moho I hope the brand make the pitcher of glass and no plastic that would be amazing
Been trying for 3 days to no avail to get the pitcher synced. It will go all the way through the steps and you won’t be able to hit finish resulting in the pitcher not being able to be set up. As a backer of this pitcher Im beyond irritated and frustrated. Customer support has been a job on this issue.
The app is great and it pairs quick with Purevis 2 bottle and it is 90% of the time consistent. One improvemnt can be made like the water intake should be allowed to be accessed by Apple Health to track.
Taste is unbelievable! I used to buy bottled water but not any more. I take it straight out of the tap. Now I don’t have to worry about micro plastics!
Love it but it needs a cover. Can you image getting a drink of water and some thing that crawl into the small space comes out into your glass ? You would be screaming. Please I need a cover !!!
There should really be an option to manually register the serial number or something. I have been trying to pair my larq pitcher with the app and the pairing never really worked. Interesting idea but not well executed. Also there is no option to ask for help/feedback within the app.
I’ve had the pitcher since May of 2022. The app recently stopped connecting to Bluetooth. I exited, closedown, restart etc but still won’t connect. Any suggestions to make it work again would be appreciated.
