Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire

I really enjoy this game and wanna play it a lot more, but every time I play the game freezes or just stops working after the second game. I open the app, play a round, then go to play a second and when the second one ends it just freezes and doesn’t give me a game over screen, and I have to close the app and I lose the coins and score I earned. This is always happening, I can only play one game then I have to close the app fully if I want to play again without the game freezing once I lose the second game I play. Anyways, I do like this game, it’s so fun!! I just wish I knew how to fix this!!

sometimes when you lose, the shock wave that comes from the enemy upon landing does not kill you. Not sometimes actually, let me rephrase… MOST of the time! The only way to then get out of this screen is to restart the game. That’s not the main issue, im fine with that it’s whatever ig, but THEN I get none of the coins I just earned. Either fix the shockwave system and make sure it kills 100% of the time, fix the currency system so that it updates my bank instantly instead of only when the round is officially over, or fix both! Other than this, I really do like this game a lot, but this small issue that can easily be fixed really really really holds the game back a ton. Please read this and consider fixing this issue, it shouldn’t take up too much of ur time and would make some ppl happy including myself. Thank you.

This is an amazing game, it looks great and I constantly am finding small details in a character, or the background. I would love to be able to play this game more but almost every round the game freezes up and doesn’t load. This forces me to restart the game almost every round making it almost unplayable. It’s unfortunate, because I feal like is this issue was fixed this game would be a 10/10.

I am enjoying this game very much but it is super difficult to survive though. Maybe I’m just bad at drawing line shapes like an upside down V or cursive L on its side... but whatever i am doing back, I am terrible at it. Also, I can only play two rounds before the face freezes and requires that I force quit the app and re-open it. 🤷🏻‍♂️I am hoping for some improvements soon, because I enjoy playing it so much.

I love this game, if it didn’t freeze every second game it would be great. I’m always having to close and open the game right after the first match just so I can keep my coins and score. It’s super annoying over time and would give five stars if this issue is fixed, it seems unlikely though since the last bug fix was three years ago.

I’d love to make this 5 stars but I can’t because there is a glitch which freezes the game and it happens decently often. It is not my device because all the other games I play do not freeze. If this was fixed I would change my rating to five stars but until then it will remain the same.

I have owned this game on and off for the last three years and I still happily restarted many times, the new update added so many new little improvements and made me refall In love with this game, I definitely recommend this game for time killers and a blast of fun.

This game is great. It would be one of the best phone games of all time, with its simple, fun, pick-up-&-play nature, it’s precise and speedy gameplay, and it’s charming artstyle…BUT. This game does NOT run well. You have to be extra careful if you lose (or even START UP A ROUND), because if you simply breathe, you will be put into frozen game Limbo. THAT is why this game is simply just. Great.

Quick to learn hard to master. I highly recommend spending the $2 to remove ads because wow they are annoying. There’s a lot of cool things they could add like different modes or interesting challenges but the game’s fine the way it is.

Great gameplay and love able silly graphics, my only complaint is that sometimes when you lose the game freezes and you have to restart it, but other than that I love it! Definitely a 10/10

This game is quite fun, yet there are many bugs that plague it. For example, once finishing a level, it may start heavily dropping frames before freezing, or the entire background of a gamemode might not even load, leaving you with a white screen with only the enemies on balloons. It sometimes even just crashes.

This game is really a lot of fun. The problem with it is that whenever I get really far in a round, the game glitches and I loose all the coins that I would have gotten. The most recent loss was like 800 coins! I was not very happy. I’m really sad because I want to keep playing this game but I’m scared to because I don’t want to loose everything I gain in the round.

The game is fun, but a frustrating bug makes it hard to play. I can play the game once, but when I try again and come to my inevitable demise, the game is frozen on the “enemy landed” animation. This soft locks the game forcing a complete restart in order to get to the menu again. Easily a 4 star game (you get what is advertised), but this bug I’ve encountered makes it hard to play.

The game is good but sometimes it has glitches when you lose I suppose it’s because the game is old (that’s why I gave it 4 stars)but a side of that the game is fun, entertaining and challenging.

Love the graphics and gameplay and the whole concept. The only issue is that when I lose the end screen never comes. Then I have to clear and restart the game and then lose all the coins I just earned. Please give at least a few updates to squash out some of the bugs!

Great game also too all the people who say the game glitches it’s because you don’t wanna watch ads and your phone is on airplane mode they made it so you have to close the game or watch ads

Im not sure if this is only ocurring to me, but there has been some bugs such as the game soft locking if one of the knights touch the castle, also it getting stuck on loading screens and etc. please fix this this used to be one of my favorite games before it got updated and deleted all my stuff as well.

I had this game for sometime but playing with finger restricted my advance in the game. Now with Apple Pencil, I have take this into a whole new level and is so much fun now as using a Pencil is sooooooo much faster. OMG!!! Go try it yourself! Use a Apple Pencil on this game!

So there’s a stupid glitch where if the casting animation overlaps the animation where you fall over, you will not be able to end the game which means if I got 310 score (which i did) if Overlapped would mean i would be stuck with no score and it happens all the time.

I love this game, it’s so fun, BUT it freezes after every game. Like I’ll fail and then it freezes and won’t give me new high score 😭😭😭😭😭 but it’s fun and would be such a good fun thing to pass the time if there wasn’t so many ads and if it didn’t freeze every time I die.

I really like this game but there’s a glitch that happens every time I lose where the screen doesn’t change and I’m not dead, and non of the knights fall.

I don’t have much to say I’ve never been much of a descriptive person but awesome game love it and hope the developer doesn’t give up on it and makes more amazing updates! Much love

i have always loved this game since it first came out. ive always enjoyed the challenge, fast paced nature of it. but recently it’s become hard to play. game freezes and crashes too often to the point it almost becomes unplayable. if you guys released an update to this game it would make things 10 times better

I really love the game, and i will love it more if there is no more bug. So the bug is: everytime the enemy fall right above the wizard, the wave that the enemy created does not hit the wizard, and from that point the game just crash, like, unplayable. So pls fix that bug fast ;-;

Nitrome way of using bits for its games makes want to play all of their games! Awesome graphics and gameplay! Just needs an update for iPhone X

Good really but a lot of the time I found myself losing because the game simply refuses to register the symbols I’m making even though it is exactly what the game is telling me to do.

The game goes to a purple screen after a match and never progresses. I have an iPad Air 4th gen running on version 15.4.1 I can play a game again after I hard reset the app, but it is annoying

This game sounds cool on paper but there is not much to do at all and it’s very glitchy, often enemy shockwaves don’t “game over” you but instead you turn immortal as the game is soft locked. (Also I highly doubt Nitrome will see this as the game seems to be abandoned.)

I love that you guys support this game as much as you do even though it’s been out for like, seven years. You guys rock so hard.

Good game but remove the Yellow Balloon That has the O looking 6 it’s annoying me but other than that it’s fun. I recommend Classic though not Zen or anything else when you are just starting.

I've only bought up to the second spell yet, but I like the game. Two things I dislike are 1. how you have to scramble every millisecond to down a golden boss, and 2. those LITTLE GREY O LOOKING SYMBOLS I HATE THEM. Other than that it's decent.

I like the game but the little six type thing is hard when I draw it it won’t let me get it then I die. But other then that it is pretty decent.

Whenever I get killed by the golden knight I get stuck on the death screen.

kinda fun but sometimes the drawings don’t register. Like the little guys will be coming so fast that the software or whatever to recognize the drawings can’t keep up. Kinda annoying

I love this game, it’s really fun! Just one suggestion to keep my interest would be to implement some goals so that we have something to work towards besides new outfits and backgrounds.

I like this game it’s kind of hard but the purple guys are so impossible to defeat please make them easier to battle

I love how addictive this game is. A play this game as a time filler, but really sometimes I just choose to sit down and play the game because it’s that good. I love the different game mode, but I wish there was a harder one. Insane is the one i always play and it’s hard but not what the name suggests. You should call this one “hard” and an even harder one “insane”. I like how you can progress in the game by buying potions that help you out. But hear this! It doesn’t cost real money and only game coins. You can earn coins by playing the game easily. The potions are quiet cheap to start off. The one I am saving up for as of this moment is one that is 10,000 coins and in my average game play in insane mode I get 600 coins, this makes it hard but not a faraway goal. The game has no ads, and is playable without wifi! I play this on planes and car rides all the time. My one suggestion is different maps, you get maps as you progress through a story with a plot. The endless mode is still playable, but there is another one called ‘story mode’. For example, a girl is trapped in a ‘Evil Potions Headquarters’ and there are bosses, and mini bosses that try and stop you. The levels go on and get harder, at one point harder than insane mode. Please do this, it could be so interesting, but think of better stories and a way of laying it out. I never play zen, classic, or time attack. However, zen is the easiest, classic is slightly harder, and time attack is one I never play. I think you have a limited to get the most amount of points, but then the points will only vary slightly? So maybe time is added if you do well and I think there are bombs in that game mode. Good thing is it doesn’t cost money, so you can see for yourself! Download it, you won’t regret it.

Game is fun but it always freezes in the middle of a game which makes me force quit the game.

This game is a terrible waste of time it doesn’t work at all it exits in the middle of gameplay and doesn’t even recognize your swipe when it s about to hit the bottom and you swipe all the sudden it rushes down

Hi! This is a great game but glitching because the new spells Bo not work when you buy them. And the other glitch is when ever I lose it doesn’t take me back.🧐🙃😟☹️😖🥺

Game has obviously been abandoned and no updates are coming in to fix the crashes after every couple games

Great game hindered by 1 major issue. The game glitches on the enemy falling animation when the balloon pops when the enemy is super close to the ground. This happens 1 in 4 games for me.

This is a great game but when you try to draw a S it doesn’t always work. This is the same for 3. I draw a S but it doesn’t work. This MAKES ME RAGE!!!

Pretty cool game only annoyance is the app hangs when you lose sometimes, requiring you to close the app.
