App stopped working correctly after about a month light turns off randomly or will change dim setting for no reason it’s all preset in scene shouldn’t change until next scene but does it anyways… fan constantly disconnects from app… so much for having smart devices
I specifically purchased this light because of the app features, but after trying the application out for one week I can tell you that it is complete garbage. This company should be embarrassed by this software. It is a gimmick to get you to buy their light. Every review prior to this is correct. It constantly loses connection, it does not shut off when the timer says it supposed to and several other glitches. I got an amazing deal on the light so I will not return it but if you were excited about the app then I would say you should definitely look at something else. Bummer.
This thing is so awesome lol. It’s a really cool app and I can’t wait for it to reach its full potential. With that being said, I’m having an issue with the fan shutting off at the preferred shut off setting. I set it for 70 degrees and 68 humidity and it reached that and just stayed on even when it went passed set temp by a few numbers, it just never shut off. But besides that everything else so far is working very well and I can’t complain. Very happy rn lol
Settings for timing aren’t good, and they don’t stay consistent. Very hard to connect and takes way to long. Ppfd also very inconsistent, even when set, I’ll come back and check hours later and it’s off.
Yea it has 1000 watts and industry leading diodes. But mars hydros system is just so super bad. I mean good lord all it has to do is check if the timer actually turned the light on or off. It’s just bad. Either buy a 500 dollar 1000 watt light like a kingbrite or meijiu and a 10 dollar timer. Or maybe an ac infinity with decent enough software.
App does not control the light. The scenes don’t work, the automatic timer don’t work. Mars has no customer service or support. I get an email a day from them in the middle of the night and they want me to send them “video evidence” of the app malfunctioning lol. For the money I spent on this light I expected a lot More.
I need the light on at 10pm and off at 1pm. 15hrs. Nothing, in the entire app, can do this. Every setting, disconnect reconnect, switches, groups, timers/stands, scenes, after trying every day for weeks, nothing will do this. Developers do not respond. When will apple remove fraudulent scam apps that do not do what they say, misleading buyers?
Light is not connected half the time. Sometimes I can’t log in. Sometimes I can’t see the light on the app. Very rarely does it work glitch free. Do you guys let a jr high school web design class run this? It is next level junk for such a large business.
This app worked well for me until the last update, i lost my Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections. It will not find my device now, total disappointment!! The light itself is great, have no complaint. Please fix this sorry app!!!
Do not waste your phone’s memory on this crap of app, I’ve tried multiple times to set the lights to 12hrs only and lights still do no turn on/off at the time I desire, even when you use their flowering stage setting it still DOES NOT WORK!!!
Bluetooth has a line threw it and it’s not connecting at all Wi-Fi will not connect it says restart scan later but never connect and I tried everything I wanted the sun rise and sunset but that’s happening witch makes the light really average
Had high hopes for being able to utilize this app as advertised with the companies smart products. Glitch city. This app has so many holes in it that it comes off like a student project that was used for target practice.
Remove the light from the app, then reset the light via dimmer knob. Once that’s done, remove the app from your phone. Now use a external timer, done. The app will cause issues if you rely on it.
I tried to sign up and kept getting an error that told me what the password needed to contain. I verified my password and tried several times to sign up. Still no joy🤷🏻♂️
Light works just fine on my own timer, but the app is garbage and should be removed from existence. Mars Hydro owes every app user $10,000 for troubleshooting and aggravation trying to get the app to actually work.
Mars Hydro, I hope you are paying attention. I’ve been using Mars Hydro lights for years. By releasing this awful software you have lost me as a customer FOREVER!
The sunrise/sunset mode is STUPID…. It turns your light on THREE HOURS EARLY and causes trauma your plants absolutely ridiculous. The timer doesn’t work and i don’t trust the app to work properly. Waste of money honestly
I can NEVER get the light to work. It never connects. The fan connects but doesn't stay connected. The app doesn't work! I WILL NEVER BUY MARS PRODUCTS AGAIN!
I have the 480MA model for my grow tent. I have a second grow tent that I need another light for. This APP and what they promise is a sham. I will not get my second light from MARS hydro.
