This game is honestly something I was hoping someone to create so this opinion may be slight-biased, however this game is a great mix between math and the wordle idea; the only thing I'd recommend as a change for it is adding a "Give Up" button just because sometimes it's hard to figure the equation out and the only options to trying a new one is putting some random equations into it repeatedly or re-opening the game. I still rate it as a 5/5 though just because it's something I enjoy very much on a day-to-day basis.
There is not as much information on construction rules as in Nerdle, but this version seems to use the same ones. However, this game does not auto correct for complementarity. If you use all of the information from previous guesses, I don’t think you can lose this game. In 60 games so far, I have not had to go further than five guesses and a majority of the games were solved in three or fewer. In reference to a previous review, there are *’s and /‘s. My last game was 7*5-1=34. My starting guess is 89-76=13. This gives me immediate information on the hugest four digits and whether there is a one in the crucial seventh place. There is one ad after each game, but you can dismiss it after 5 seconds.
This should not be like crosswords. This is simple math. For example, 3 x 4 = 4 x 3 = 12. Both ways mean the same. I had to use an extra attempt to get the correct order. The app should identify the interchangeable variables for addition and multiplication. It would be better if it was more challenging like factorials and permutations and combinations for ones who wish to try harder versions. Just a suggestion. Alternatively fill in the numerical blanks would be interesting as well instead of complete blank page.
This game is great but the only problem is that I can always solve it. I’m guessing this is because it’s basically the same thing as Wordle but because the answers have to be correct then you have an extra variable to help you figure it out. For example, you are not just putting in random letters trying to make a word. Because the answer must solve the equation, that gets rid of many possible numbers that don’t get erased from the color coding system. I hope this makes sense. Anyway, good game just a little too easy.
I really enjoy this game and knew immediately that I need to get the app so I can play more than one a day! The only thing that I dislike is that I have to insert the characters left to right. I would prefer it if I could insert a character into any given box without the need to first fill in the box in to the left. I always want to preset the characters that have been confirmed… But I cannot do that without first filling in proceeding boxes.
My favorite game and its just so much fun solving these, I’ve done around 70 in 2 days. Also if it’s possible I would pay for no ads. I do have 1 issue with it though and it is that it requires a certain order. For example if I type 4*2*3=24 it will say its wrong because it wants 3*4*2=24 which is frustrating. Also a leaderboard would be nice.
For me, this app is more interesting than Wordle. It makes more sense to me. To me, it’s easier than Wordle since the equation has to be correct and there’s only one possible solution. I love the app, but I like Nerdle better. The puzzles are harder, but, in Nerdle, there’s only one puzzle every 12 hours. I use Mathle more often.
Math is the best thing to do! I am so good at this I never fail! I love that there is pretty much no ads! 👍🤩🙌 This is like Wordle but in Wordle you have to guess the word instead of a math equation. Good things about Mathle Mathle is a good app. I would say it’s for ages 6+. Maybe 7+. Depending on what math level your at. 1 reason why I say it’s a god app is because it’s educational. It is educational because it’s a math game which is an educational subject. Another reason why it’s a good game is it’s like wordle but with math. You are useing your brain. Bad things about Mathle Mathle is a very good app, but has some problems. 1 it does not have regular multiplication or division symbols. 2 it does not teach how to play, you have to figure it out by your self. And last, it should not give you adds after each and every game. Other then that the app is very good.
My family plays Wordle against each other, but I’m a numbers person. Surprised how addicting it is. Don’t suggest this game to your daughter at 10pm when she has to work in the morning. She’ll be up until 4am like I was. THANKS MOM!
At first the game looks difficult because, unlike Mathler, the right side of the equation is not given. With just a little practice, the game becomes easier while still offering a good challenge.
Got this game last night… I’m pretty good. 😊 But, I messed up on a lot of puzzles… I really wish that there were coins in game and you could buy hints or skip the puzzle. That being said, it’s such a great game! GET IT
If you like math then this game is definitely for you. I love math and I have gotten 8 answers correct on my 4th try and 2 correct on my 6th. I am literally obsessed with this game and I got it yesterday!
I hate ads in games. This game has one on every screen, plus there is a timed video ad between every game. This would be a 5 star app easily if there was simply an option to pay for the ad-free version of the game. I wouldn’t blink at $5.
I’ve played 10 games so far and haven’t had a game that included multiplication or division yet. Are these operations used? I would like the added challenge if they aren’t!
This is so much fun. I really like this game. It’s sharpening my math and problem solving skills. Not an outrageous amount of ads either. So it’s not frustrating.
The game is overall good if anybody likes to do math. Yet sometimes 3 symbol equations comes up and those are very hard to solve (for ex. 8*3/2. there are 3 symbols in this.) they should remove those and only add adding in this game
I love that you may play multiple games in a day. The downside is that it gives less of a “wordless vibe” to it. Overall, I love it, and Nerdle. Math rules!
Needs dark mode, an option to remove ads, and needs to support commutative answers. Forced full screen ads make this a 1 star uninstall for me unfortunately.
