It was great. And then it cost money. Annoying, but makes sense, since the creators were in/out of college. However, they should have sold it to the school while they had a chance… now there’s a new one for free. Still, it worked really well for a time.
Horrible horrible greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy glitchy app. 🐽🐽🐽🐽🐖🐖🐖🐖🐷🐷🐷 was good, until developer’s last sibling graduated high school at which point he created a paywall so that students, parents, and teachers are now required to pay to view their schedules. a different app was created by new students, and this developer decided to send a copywright infringement cease and desist??? developer is attempting to isolate and extort a market of high school kids and their parents who simply wish to view their schedules easily.

better free option 🤷♀️not worth my money 🤷♀️would highly reccomend mav hub app instead. Has a gorgeous color scheme and a better user interface :) also mav hub app is free and this is not
The app asks for me to put my classes into the schedule! Is that not an invasion of my privacy? Why should the deep state know where I am and at what times.
Why did they monetize this? They are literally becoming supercell with these 13x value mav app for a month. There is a free version that even has the lunch menu.
I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with the Mav App has been so frustrating that I feel compelled to share. This app, which charges users a subscription fee to access their school schedules, is an egregious example of exploiting students and their families. 1. Outrageous Pricing for Basic Features: The most glaring issue with the Mav App is its pricing model. For a subscription fee that’s comparable to premium streaming services, users are given access to what amounts to a basic calendar interface. The app does not offer any innovative features or additional functionalities that justify its steep cost. In fact, it fails to deliver even the simplest of scheduling tools without charging users extra. 2. Poor User Experience and Interface: Navigating Mav App is anything but intuitive. The app’s interface is clunky and outdated, resembling something from a decade ago. Basic tasks such as viewing or editing your schedule are cumbersome and require multiple steps. The design lacks cohesion and feels unnecessarily complicated, which only adds to the frustration of using it. 3. Inconsistent and Unreliable Performance: One would expect an app that charges for its services to offer reliable performance, but Mav App falls short in this regard. Users frequently report crashes and glitches that render the app unusable. Even when it does work, the app is slow and unresponsive, making it an infuriating experience to manage something as crucial as a school schedule. 4. Lack of Customer Support: The customer support for Mav App is virtually non-existent. When issues arise, responses are either delayed or non-existent. The app’s support team seems to be overwhelmed or simply uninterested in addressing user concerns. This lack of support exacerbates the problems with the app and leaves users feeling abandoned and frustrated. 5. Overhyped and Underwhelming: The marketing for Mav App is misleading. It promises a range of features and a seamless experience, but the reality is starkly different. The app does not deliver on its promises, leaving users with a sense of having been misled and cheated. It’s evident that the developers prioritize profit over user satisfaction and functionality. 6. Ethical Concerns: There is a deeper issue at play here: the ethics of charging students and parents for something that should be easily accessible and free. School schedules are essential for academic success, and monetizing access to this information feels exploitative. It’s disappointing to see a service preying on the academic needs of students and their families. In conclusion, Mav App is an overpriced, underperforming app that fails to deliver value or reliability. Its poor interface, inconsistent performance, and lack of customer support make it a regrettable investment. I would strongly advise against using this app and recommend seeking alternative solutions that offer better functionality and ethical practices. Save your money and frustration by avoiding Mav App altogether.
