It’s a great game but a few things can be annoying

I really enjoy the game, and it is essentially a pay to win, but one of my biggest peeves is being unable to reset to a specific episode. I just finished ‘Own My God’ which isn’t the longest story but the choice to choose the person is episode 15, while the ending is in 16. So I replayed 16 thinking I could choose the others for different endings but I found out I couldn’t. It’s was a quite annoying thing to find out I’d have to replay the entire thing even if I paid for every dia option. I’d hope there’s a feature to replay any specific episode or at least the one where you finally have to choose an ending on the reset menu in the future. I just think I and many others have paid too much to not have such a simple feature. It’d be nice to also have somewhere in the app to suggest features like this as well. But all in all O.M.G was the only story where the choice wasn’t in the last episode so it most likely isn’t an occurring annoyance, but I’d still enjoy to have that feature.

Overall, an okay game

First, the layout of the game and the stories is amazing. Easy to use and attractive to the eye. The characters, their animation and drawing, are amazing as well- how they stand out not so much. The first two stories I tried, had to stop reading them after three chapters because the characters were just so plain. I didn’t find any of the protagonists (love interests) interesting at all and decided not to waste my time to “fight” for them. But soon, I found a story I was interested in! Really good story, writing is good (some spelling errors, rarely) and it’s cohesive what most stories don’t have. I finished this story quite quickly, got the most hearts posible without spending any diamonds to find out that you can’t get a decent (and I mean decent, doesn’t have to be happy) without spending diamonds. Extremely disappointed not going to lie, I wouldn’t have wasted my time reading the story if I knew what terrible ending I was going to get. The ending, without spending diamonds, are rushed and it just makes the protagonist go oh okay I just went through all of this for nothing and I’m perfectly fine with that. I should have noticed with how many times the app asks you to spend diamonds for situations that really shouldn’t have to. I get it, you what to make profit but the story isn’t even enjoyable if the protagonist has to reject every invitation she receives from the guy she’s trying to court. You see what’s wrong with that?

Loved it but they took my money

I loved this app and several of the stories/books I’ve read so far! I loved the detailed ones the best as it brings what I’m reading “alive”! If you are a hardcore reader then you know what I mean. 😉 There wasn’t much I didn’t until they took my money and I didn’t get refunded my $25 nor did I get the two packages I paid for. The only reasons I couldn’t in good faith give 5* is 1) I bought 3 packages but didn’t get my tickets or diamonds. Apple refunded me $5 out of the $30 only because I got charged twice for the same package. It has been close to a month and still no refund/no package contents given. I am going to slowly read the rest of the few books are started using free stuff I earn then I plan to delete this app and find one that gives you what you pay for. 2)Sometimes there is up to a 1-2 week wait on the continuation of a book 3) It can at times get extremely expensive 4) The app randomly stops letting you collect diamonds even as a VIP 5)The app sometimes will randomly boot you out every time you try to open a book for up to an entire day 6)They need a few more ways to earn both tickets & diamonds 7) They need to work on fixing app bugs faster and making sure that when someone pays for something that they actually get it. So very disappointed in how this app is being managed!! This could be a great number one app if only they actually cared enough to fix what is wrong!

Diamonds

Why are my earned goods disappearing? It’s not really fair. What’s the point of me logging in everyday just to get robbed. I saw many other complaints about this issue in the reviews as well so I’m wondering when it will be fixed and when I ,as well as the other players, will be getting our in game currency back. Because this is really disappointing especially considering that I saved up so much to be able to play my fav stories and all I can do is just watch my currency dwindle away. If this isn’t addressed I don’t see me and a lot of other players remaining on this app because what made this game great was of course the amazing stories and visuals but also the ability to get in game currency in a way that keeps people logging in and engaged. The earned or given currency was not distributed in a way that made it feel to easy, thus making the game play more enjoyable. But when in game currency becomes to hard to obtain or keep without spending good money, players become quickly disinterested and discouraged. Especially considering a lot of players are young or experiencing difficulties due the pandemic, making money tight or nonexistent. I really would love to keep enjoying this game so I hope this rating really explains what the players are feeling about this. Thank you for the amazing content you guys provide for us and I really hope this can be sorted out soon.

Needs a lot of work to sustain

The stories, graphics, and flow of the chapters are great, but the need for diamonds and tickets really cuts down on the initial excitement of playing the game. At first, everything was cool because there were three tickets and there was about 150 diamonds. However, every good choice pushes for diamonds, ranging in price from 13 to 68 diamonds, including clothes and choices that will drive the story. The only way to get free diamonds is 2 at the end of every chapter, if an ad is watched as well, and watching ads, which gives a diamond per ad. But there’s only 5 ads to watch every 20 hours. It’s either pay up or get a mediocre ending. And the tickets could have a shorter waiting time; 4 hours for a ticket refill??? Just one ticket might I add, and the only way to get more tickets is through paying up, again. The concept is great, but having to deal with a game system that only seems to want your money is very off putting and takes away the experience and magic of these stories. Leaving the game like this will most likely cause customers to try it out and delete it if they get tired of having to constantly buy in order to succeed in the game. As some have suggested, allowing the player to buy a whole route would be nice as they wouldn’t have to worry about buying more and just enjoy the story.

VERY IMPRESSED!!!

The animation and work that went behind the stories is phenomenal a lot better than any otome games. In other choose your own story games, the animation is a little stande and the stour doesn’t doesn’t give you many choices or affect gameplay. This game gives you plenty of choices that can actually change the story plot line and your relationship with the characters. I’ve only played three episodes and this is already my new favorite game. One thing that is helpful is that you can only do one story at a time. This keeps the player on track and focused on completing a storyline. This may not appeal to some players but I really liked it. The only thing I have an issue with is the use of diamonds being so costly. You are able to get one diamond for free after each episode and you can watch up to two ads for two free diamonds. I think this is a very good way to get back to the player. The issue is how expensive some of the gameplay options are and how little diamonds you get when you pay for them. If they were to lower certain prices for non-story related diamond uses and maybe added a few more diamonds to the buying options it would be a little more balanced.

Just peachy

Okay the graphics and the story line are AMAZING. I cannot describe how well set up and elegant the app is. I love this app as much as the next person BUT.. the diamonds. Oh not the diamonds. YES the diamonds. It’s so tedious. I barely downloaded this today and I’m already not satisfied with the benefit ratio from app to user. You get like 1 diamond per day is which is absolutely absurd. Each option is like 17 diamonds which affect your relationship with each player if you reject the offer. It’s so unfair how I have to wait 2-3 days just to collect enough money for 17 diamonds. The only reason this app gets minimum two stars from me is due to the talent of the writers and graphic designers. I just wish it was more affordable. I can live without spending 100+ on a VIP Pass that isn’t going to get me anywhere. Not to mention, I don’t even have a source of income. I would think this app targets people that that are appealed to pretty things, including me. I would think that they would help their target audience benefit with diamonds. I guess I was wrong. With that being said, I shall return to Chapters/Romance Fate... maybe even episode because it seems that they have affordable options. Thank you for taking your time to read. my honest opinion

This app has some areas that could be improved. Firstly, the stories need better translation, especially if they were originally in Korean. Additionally, the story headlines for the books can be quite wild at times, such as "alpha male." While it's nice that you can write your own stories, it seems that there is not much activity on the app, as most comments are from three years ago. It's understandable that people have stopped using it. Another issue is that it can be challenging to create characters that resemble oneself, as the options are limited to either anime characters or provocative ones. Furthermore, when writing a story, you are only allowed to have three main characters, and it can be frustrating that you cannot change the outfits of the backup characters. Overall, while I understand the concept of this app, it tends to become boring after a week due to the lack of users, cringe-worthy headlines, poor translation, and outdated stories that were likely written by young individuals or focused solely on explicit content. If you're looking for a similar experience, I would recommend downloading the "Episodes" app instead.

Good writing, choices matter, beautiful art!

I always download choose-your-story apps when they come out, since they’re my favorite kinds of games. But none of them have really caught my attention, and I’ve deleted all of them (apps like Chapters, Tabou - they’re okay, but not that great to me.) I downloaded this app because of the positive reviews, and I wasn’t disappointed! The writing is really well done, and the whole layout of the app is smooth and polished. Plus, the animations on the characters aren’t funny-looking, they’re so well-done! I wish you could pick a face for the main character, but I do understand that there’s illustrations so I get it. My only compliant would be diamonds - you only get one per finished chapter, and the choices seem very expensive, and you only start with 65 or something. Maybe up the amount the player receives per chapter to 5, perhaps, or reduce diamond choice prices? If that happened, this would be a perfect app for me. Sorry for the extensive review - to sum it up, I love it! I’ll be keeping this one for sure.

It’s fine...

I usually never write reviews or comments but this game really infuriates me. The chapters flow, characters design, and the benefits that come with making the right choices is really amazing. However, this game is literally robbing you. Each chapter can varies in length but from the stories that I’ve read, most of them are long and requires an excessive amount of unneeded diamonds to be able to get a satisfied enough ending. If I’m doing my math correct, a story around 16 chapters can cost up to $100 to be able to get a perfect ending. I have a VIP subscription and sometimes, it couldn’t even pay off for the choices even with daily rewards and free videos rewards. Free diamonds rewards never work out for me, by the way, so I don’t suggest using that option to obtain your diamonds faster and easier. It baffles me because this is just more about making profit than entertainment, it’s an 80-20 thing. I hate to compare this with other interactive apps but Episode or Choices only requires you to spend diamond when it’s going to benefit the player a lot. I’m really dissatisfied with this game mainly because of the diamond problem and it’s a really large part. Please consider making changes to the issue/problem. Thank you

Horrendous customer service

I recently submitted a request about one of the free Dia offers (ASPCA), when the rewards (420 Dias) never arrived. The request went straight to the company in partnership with Maybe, but they said they’re unable to send me the Dias for some reason, even though I showed them the proof of completion (receipts and the body of an email I got upon the completion of payment), cleared the cache and updated the app as they asked. They ended up telling me to contact the Maybe customer service, which just told me they can’t do anything about it, without doing anything at all. The Dias and tickets are quite expensive, sure, but I paid for deals and extra Dias because I think an app as good as this would take a lot of resources. But no willingness whatsoever to solve the simplest problem—giving the rewards for a monthly donation I made just as they promised—is another story completely. That is just absolutely obnoxious and unprofessional and even a breach of ‘contract’, to exaggerate. They probably designed a 5-star app, I’ll admit that much, but another thing as clear to me is that they have a zero-star customer service AT BEST. Or what’s worse, zero customer service. Good luck with their nonexistent customer service if you have any problems with the app.

Diamonds and tickets

The stories are amazing! the art and all, its great. my main complaint is diamonds and tickets. i hate having to wait 3 hours just for 1 diamonds. after 9 days ill only have around 50 at the most (thats without math, just an estimate) this is why i usually prefer things like wattpad, ao3, or quotev, you dont need to necessarily pay to enjoy the stories. it would be much better if you maybe gave more diamonds instead of 1 every 3 hours (practically) im not saying make all diamonds free, but instead make events or something like that where the players can get more diamonds freely. I know that you need money, which is why im proposing the idea of still having to pay for diamonds, but giving them away more freely so people and enjoy and read stories more often. some people wont enjoy reading stories they have to pay for (to make good choices) and will just leave the app, which will make you less money i would believe. im still going to use the app since i love some of the stories on there so much that aren't finished, but im proposing this idea to make it easier and more fun to play. :)

It’s Great!!!

Okay, so. After playing this game for a few days, my opinion on it has changed. I see a lot of people complaining about the prices for dia etc etc but… they have the 10 free dia a day for ads, plus the daily spin PLUS the TapJoy offer wall. And tbh, the offerwall is what has kept me playing this game. I’ve probably completed over 100 offers at this point app for FREE and gained probably wellllll over 200 dia. And it doesn’t take that long to do them either. In my eyes, once I reach a dia choice in the story, I’ll go complete offers and then come back when I have the dia. And while doing that, I feel the wait for tickets to reload is much less too. I have absolutely no more worries about running out of tickets now like I did before. Also, yes, you may think that the offerwall takes a lot of time or that the prices are too high for things but, the game is free so the company has to make their money somewhere. :)) My biggest tip is the offerwall!!!

BEST STORYGAME/RP EVER

Okay so I’m a huge story game fanatic and I’ve tried plenty other apps like episode and choices and even thought they’re great apps. Maybe is my top favorite. Here’s why! The graphics are so anime, since otome games are the ones that I started out playing I became a huge fan of the art and graphics! The stories and dialogue are so unique. Their are also special images you get in certain episodes that you get to keep. Maybe also has a couple of lgbtq story options. And when it comes to diamonds, just like the other apps Maybe does provide you with 5 diamonds every 20 hours (I believe) but they also have Día Login Events that reward you with either tickets or diamonds to access stories every day! They’ve also added a luck spinning wheel for the weekends, meaning that you could get extra rewards. Their diamond and ticket prices are also quite affordable, I myself have purchased some packages and they have been so worth it!

Great but EXPENSIVE

The graphics in this game are easily the best I’ve seen in all of the interactive/role play games I’ve played. I also appreciate the selection of stories available and the fact that they contain more adult content than most. However, making the choices you want throughout game play and being able to choose the clothing and hairstyle you want is extremely costly. I’m only 6 chapters in to the current story I’m reading and have already had to spend $30. If you compare this to the price of a kindle or paperback book, it’s already at least double the cost of most books to only enjoy a small part of the story. Once you buy a book you have the whole story at your hands to enjoy. The premium choices in these stories is the only way to enjoy the story entirely and have the outcome you want. I would much rather be charged a set price per story that would then include all premium choices. I doubt I’ll be able to afford to continue using and enjoying this app merely because of cost. Unfortunate really because it is great otherwise.

Love it !

Just downloaded it the other day and i love it ! All the other “choices” games make it entirely too hard to earn diamonds in order to make the story more interesting and entertaining. And I’ve gotten my character new clothes, and picked some scandalous options and still was able to earn another 20 diamonds on one day, and there’s some free video options! I love that. I wish there were some video options for tickets so you could read and finish the story in one day (because I’m hooked on the “my ex loves me” story ! It’s amazing & im definitely going to restart it and try for other outcomes) the way you can get into your character’s closet and their male interest leads is genius ! I love love love !!! Pls add more sweet love stories!! And i promise i won’t delete this app if you do. I love the animation on it as well. It’s kind of like an Anime/ Manga and the characters are just beautiful to look at! Pls keep it up (oh and there aren’t any annoying ads popping up either !!)

LOVE IT! BUT EXPENSIVE!

I love this app! The artwork is great and the stories are really nice! I really like them! But I wish there were more ways to get tickets and/or diamonds. And the whole get "free" diamonds thing doesn't work and it's ineffective! There should be better ways on getting diamonds, like completing little task like the Interactive Story: Chapters. Chapters is like this! And I really think if you do something like that more people would read more because right now it's money hungry. I'm not saying to do that exactly, but you guys should really check out their app! It can really boost your ratings! I think this app great and I love it! But it needs improvements!! Hope you guys can fix these little mistakes! The diamonds options are WAY too expensive !! And I know you guys do that to buy your diamonds but it's unfair towards people who don't have time to buy diamonds. If you do more ads, you have a higher chance of more active members and also; it gives you guys money from those ads. I think I've said enough, but overall, you guys are money hungry and what you have right now isn't good enough.

Well-Made Stories but Ask for Too Much Money

The stories and art are so beautiful and well-made, the plots are unique and not super predictable! However, my excitement didn’t last long. I really wish at the beginning of the app you got to see all the stories rather than choosing “what kind of story” you want and they automatically give you one to try. I ended up using some of my diamonds for that story because I wasn’t given the chance to see the page with the other stories that I will enjoy more. I’m down to buy diamonds to support the developers, however it costs a ton of diamonds for even the basic choices to move the plot forward. You get forced to do the choice you don’t want to do for the majority of the story. The way to get “free diamonds” by doing certain tasks on other sites currently doesn’t work. For the future, I hope this app will give more opportunities to earn diamonds by watching ads or fix the “free diamonds” system. For now I will uninstall the app, and come back when this system is fixed. Looking forward to fixes in the future!

WAY BETTER THAN EPISODE!

The stories are so enticing, alluring, ADDICTIVE & AND THE VISUALS FOR THE CUT SCENE? 😩😩 UGH! You guys JUST HAVE TO SEE FOR YOURSELVES. I went on a hiatus from these kids of apps because they were just too expensive and the stories were MUCH TOO CLICHE, but this app makes a cliche seem like an original piece! and the app DEFINITELY is way better than episode, and WAY LESS OF A MONEY GRAB. LIKE THIS APP IS RAW FAM. IT GOES LUDICROUS! The subscription is most definitely worth it. Worth every last dime! It was $9.99 but you start off with a decent amount of jewels, and purchasing a few more would hurt either if you are opposed to the idea of subscribing. (20 gems are $1.99!) I would 100% recommend this over episode or just about any other interactive story apps! But don’t just hear it from me. Come see for yourselves. Your fantasy awaits! Now, I have to get back to reading. It just can’t wait. Ciao! <3

Great stories but

I love getting these type of intractable stories and was excited to see this one. Some of the stories are based off manga and novels I read that are well written with beautiful art, for that I would have given it 5 starts. However like most games of this genre diamonds are hard to get and to to get a good ending you sometime have to pay with the choices through diamonds. It’s rather difficult to get these diamonds, and paying for them isn't worth it because you don’t really get a lot for what you would pay. Diamond choices cost on low end around 12-17 while expensive choice(and the more usual one) rein from 28-34, on top of that you have cosmetics that can consist of another 15 to 30. It would be great if they included day to day challenges to get more diamonds or offering a spin the wheel for a random chance. I love the stories and the art but I have a hard time enjoying it because of how limited I feel to it. If it weren’t for this I would give this game a full 5 starts.

Really good

I like this app quite alot it’s actually better than any other app I’ve used regarding choice stories however it’s just too expensive and I can only read 1 story a month so I’m forced to use other apps unless I want to drop lots of money. Getting gems is too difficult ontop of that stories are way too expensive for a story with 15 chapters if you only go for the good options you will use over 900 gems which takes an entire month just to obtain by watching ads and even with a free vip trial. Ontop of that you only get 1 gem from watching the ad at the end of the story instead of the 3 it promises you which I feel is kinda sad. I’d give it 5 Stars if it increases the amount of gems you can get and decreases the amount of gems you need to spend. Not only would that make the app better but there are lots of other things that could be implemented as well that would make the app better than all of its competitors by far because at the moment it’s lacking due to the cost.

Needs slight improvement

This is an amazing game. I’ve played several games of the same genre as this app but have never enjoyed them as much as I do with this one. There are several great qualities: the organization of the app, the pacing of each story, the art styles, the artwork/paintings, the music, the way the characters move, and the ability to change outfits whenever the player pleases. However, please change the diamond system. In order to unlock enjoyable plots/lovely outfits, the player must spend a good amount of diamonds. I do not find this a problem, but the amount of diamonds received after each story should be increased. For example, normally people will receive one for each story. This can be changed to 5. If a person chooses to watch an ad to double their reward, they receive 10 diamonds instead. I’m looking forward to how far this game will develop, but the main concern revolving it is the diamonds. Other than that, I’m very pleased with the game.

Love hate relationship

I love the story and style, but this, like all choose your story games, isn’t for people without jobs or money. It’s impossible to get enough gems to really play the way the game was meant to be played. I can’t get any more gems without spending money that I don’t have, so when a choice that requires gems comes along, I’m forced to choose the one I don’t want to. Then, a little notification pops up with a frowny face, saying “you didn’t choose blah blah” or “you disappointed so and so” and mocks your lack of money. It makes the game a lot less fun, and makes you feel bad every chapter you play. Especially when the characters are mad or sad because of your “decision.” I get that these games are for adults with money, and the producer needs to get paid somehow, but can’t you give us broke humans a chance? I really do like the art and story though. Some suggestions for earning gems fairly: a spinning wheel, a mini game, a daily log in prize that’s enough for at least one decision, watch an ad and get more than ONE, etc.

Used to be the BEST

I got this game right at the beginning, when they barely had any stories. But what they had were amazing, beautifully drawn, engaging stories that honestly blew my mind and were super fun to reread. i spent as much as i could on diamonds packs every month and the VIP membership. Every month. i played every ad every day too. But they kept putting in ugly western style stories with realistic art and they never stopped. I'm so sick of it. i haven't bought anything in months waiting for a good anime style story again and they never added anything. I can no longer play this game bc absolutely nothing appeals to me. After the hundreds i spent hoping they would keep the same kind of content coming i'm nothing but disappointed. The most popular stories are obviously the anime style ones yet they keep putting trash in. and the older stories have so much alternate hair and clothes and these ugly ones barely have any extra outfits, especially for the love interests. Complete downgrade. If they go back to how they used to do things i'll happily fork over my money and time again.

Great App! Please Keep it Affordable!!

This app is so great, my friend gave me the link to it because it has Remarried Empress on it. I was a little surprised, but downloaded it anyways. I am not disappointed at all, this is a great app. I just hope that a lot of things will become more affordable though. I have tried many other apps in this genre and they always charge a huge amount for every story. Which alike, is the only flaw with this app that I can see. Gems are scarce and tickets are even scarcer. I truly love this app and I hope for it to give me more options to get gems and tickets so I can actually use the app more. (For suggestion, maybe it should adopt the survey system from Tapas, there is a survey system currently but it is a bit confusing. It can be more clean.) The amount you are able to earn with each ad should be increased, while also having more ads to go around.

The stories are good and the art is really beautiful and their still expanding the stories to play but one small problem its to achieve a good ending to a story it requires for you to spend a lot diamond. But on the bright side you have a lot of opportunities to get diamonds by completing the small missions and watching the ads and even after you finish a chapter you get diamonds but it takes a lot of time but it’s worth it so I’ll give it a 8.5/10 Because I still want more spicy stories 😌✨ but one thing that I want them to change in the future is to add new backgrounds and the background music because I’m kinda tired of hearing the same sounds and seeing the same drawings in every story like the pigeon drawing 🗿✨ but it’s still a good app to use in my opinion since its still growing but we gotta be patience for the new stories release 🌝✨✨

Great game, but a few problems.

I love this game so much! The story’s are so awesome and hook you right on! The only problem I have is the diamonds. I’ve played two stories so far- and I got a bad ending on both. When you choose a choice, it requires a large amount of diamonds, and you only get so much. At the end of the chapters you only get one, and when you play an ad you get one more. I hope the game developers can fix that problem because I was pretty disappointed when I got a bad ending. Maybe a ‘spin the wheel’ to get more diamonds. Another problem I have is the tickets. It’s kind of annoying to have to wait 2 hours and 45 minutes to get only 2 tickets. It’s kind of not fair. These issues are very similar in which you can only get so much which leads to bad endings in the story. Again, I hope the game developers can do something about this. I’m pretty sure more people will enjoy it.

no ads, please fix

I’ve always enjoyed this app, it’s a lot better than other interactive choice games. The biggest difference between maybe and other apps like it for me has been how easy it was to earn diamonds. There are events that reward you 15 to maybe 40 diamonds when completed. 10 ads provided daily that give you a diamond for every one you watch, not to mention ones given at the end of every episode you play. My issue with the app now is that it is no longer this easy to earn diamonds. At most I can watch an ad at a time then I have to close the app or restart my phone & hope it lets me watch another. As I mentioned earlier there are events that give you diamonds when you complete them one being the event where you WATCH ADS. I can’t complete it if the app only lets me watch 1 maybe 2-3 ads when I should be able to watch 10. I’m just asking that this get fixed. It’s really frustrating

ASTOUNDING BUT TO EXPENSIVE

I recently came across this app on instagram and let me just say the art is astounding. The details and effort is INCREDIBLE!! The characters are very well attractive, and the second I downloaded this game I was hooked. Unfortunately, there is a slight problem. It’s to expensive. This takes away the player away from playing the game. I have tried getting the DIA, but it never works. I wish there were at least a daily mission or spin a wheel sadly there isn’t any of that and I need REAL MONEY TO PAY. And the choices always include 14 diamonds which is a bit too much I recommend to not always add diamonds to choices often, and I wish to exchange diamonds for tickets if that’s possible in any way. But, this is a very good game and the effort that is put into it, but I think the diamond choices should be lowered and not added every 3 seconds, and more options to win diamonds and tickets instead of waiting for 2 - 3 hours.

I like the game I really don’t like for example I’m really one of the chapter stories remarried Peru’s I like the game I really don’t like for example I’m really one of the chapter stories remarried empressBut like where I don’t like because when I was finished reading it I was getting to my decision making and I had like at least 75% of hearts or decisions on one of the characters and I couldn’t use the character that I want it for the empress to married in the end so that’s one thing I hate about that app because it’s like you waste half of your time spending diamonds and then you don’t end up choosing a character that you want the creators need to fix that or else you’re going t gonna lose more subscribers and users on this app this is why I’m giving them at three that’s the one thing I really don’t want they have a certain amount of hearts just so you can end up having an end of choosing the person that you want at the end of your story I don’t like that

All the books I read so far

There are many great reading apps, but none like this one. I love how I can always receive free diamonds somehow and if I can’t receive free diamonds. I can receive free tickets to still make some choices my own they go out the way to make sure most readers can still enjoy great stories. Now they have a way where you can become a part of the app and create a great story and maybe someone will like your story. I really enjoy this app $9.99 VIP subscription is totally worth it and affordable which is what makes this even better. You can buy the books and get the choices you want at a great rate or you can buy diamonds at a pretty great rate, so that is why this definitely deserves five stars not just for its great innovative stories but because it gives more too.

Annoyed to the max

Diamonds are a huge issue! The story demands so many diamonds for one choice, even as much as 37 diamonds which is crazy considering how many choices there are in the game that demand diamonds. I wasted money buying diamonds that got used up within two choices, like seriously this game wants you to spend at least like $20-30 per story, that is absolutely ridiculous. Another issue I have with this game is when you don’t choose to spend diamonds you are left with only a bad option in the story and it makes you feel bad. For example, this one story wanted me to buy stupid ear headband thing for a character and when it wanted me to spend 37 diamonds to buy it I didn’t and I missed out on an opportunity in the story. And finally the only free way to earn diamonds is to watch ads, you only get one diamond per ad and have a limit of only five ads per day, it’s like the creators are giving us crumbs at this point, how are we supposed to do anything with 5 diamonds? Obviously they want us to spend ridiculous amounts on money to get a decent story, the greed is unreal!

It’s good. Seriously.

Ok, I’ve played A LOT of these choices style games and have seen some good ones and some utter garbage. I see the same comments on all of these games, “make the gems cheaper and it would be good”. A lot of these games are just cash grabs with absurd prices bc trust me I’ve seen them all. BUT THIS GAME is something else. The art is AMAZING, the writing isn’t complete garbage (and it’s spicy af), there’s a good variety of stories, there’s always multiple stories premiering at once, and you get TONS of free gems just for doing stuff. Plus, there are discount bundles that get you a ton of value for your money AND this games VIP sub is only $10/month as opposed to most other games $15 or more. A little money goes a long way in this game. It’s a win-win... win-win-win. Choices who? This game is my new bae and I’m not sorry.

Fun, app sometimes unresponsive

The stories are a little bit cliché but still enjoyable. Your standard interactive story game. A problem is every time I open the app, it gives me a warning that I should connect an account to the app so I don’t lose my data. But when I try to click on the Connect button for either an Apple or FB account, nothing happens. I’ve tried on multiple instances, and the buttons never work. So I can’t connect any accounts even if I wanted to. There are lots of instances like this where the app just doesn’t respond after you click on a button. Like when I’m trying to watch the 5 ads for free diamonds. I often have to tap the ad button for minutes on end for an ad to play. And at the end of a chapter when I watch an ad to receive 2 free diamonds, sometimes the dias don’t get added to my account. This is quite annoying and I hope these bugs will be fixed.

This is how not to treat your customers…

So I LOVE many of the stories on here and have read or am in the middle of reading several others, which is why I chose to become a VIP member and pay the $9.99 per month. I have been a member since May 2021. HOWEVER, the app stopped loading for me as of last Wednesday. It’s been over a week, and no matter how many times I restart the app, it keeps telling me to restart. I’ve tried clearing the cache and also uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, which means that I have probably lost ALL of my diamonds, story tickets, and story progress. The customer service has been extremely disappointing. I had sent them multiple emails throughout the week and only heard back once (basically telling me to do what I’ve already done). In addition, I even sent a video demonstrating what was happening and didn’t hear back! I would really appreciate a response from their support team. They don’t seem to respond unless it’s a review here. This isn’t how to treat your loyal consumers!

UPDATE

There are many wonderful stories ongoing and finished stories. There are a few grammar mistakes but they don’t ruin the flow of the story. I’m only upset that the good endings can only be achieved through gems. The app does a good job on running events on weekend to earn gems. And watching ads for gems are also great. But it takes time and patience. And if you have a little extra spending money, the team offers sales and discounts on the site very frequently. That way you don’t have to drop a fortune. UPDATE: I’m so impressed with the progress of this app. Not only are there even more binge worthy stories on here, but the developers have become much more generous with the gems. They have events with rewards now and they give out free gems and tickets daily. I take back everything I said about the paywall in my previous review. MAYBE IS THE BEST!

It’s good but I think you Pay to much for small choices and to dress up

I really like this app but you get really a short amount of diamonds like if you want to dress up you would need like 17-26 dimonds that’s a lot for one thing also When ever I collect my daily reward my diamonds don’t increase I can have 13 diamonds and then I collect my daily reaward of 2 diamonds or so but my diamonds still stay at 13 one last thing I think that in this app there should be mini games or something to collect diamonds like if you can remember certain thinks that happened in the episode you finished you could get like 5 diamonds if you get 5 questions right also I think they should add more things to the game in general because you can’t really do much only read I think they should add mini games to make the app a bit more interesting over all a good app (I was in a rush probally spelled things wrong.)

Best Interactive Stories App

I’ll get straight to the point. Unlike others that think that we do not get enough diamonds, this game provides SO MANY opportunities to get diamonds. You have to login each day and watch ads for 5 diamonds. You can play a story and receive 2 diamonds. If you do not have enough diamonds for choices, then it will give you an gem opportunity in exchange for watching ads. Plus, they have a new system that allows to receive diamonds or tickets as freebies each day. If you constantly check into the game, you can receive 10 diamonds IN ONE DAY at the end of the week. People are being too stingy about the diamonds when you look at other games that are being even more unreasonable. The stories and plots are good, but there needs to be more variety. Overall, this is my absolute favorite app.

It’s ok but...

The diamond reward system is super inefficient. The stories seem great, but you have to dump tons of money into the game if you want to make ANY interesting decisions. You only get 1 diamond rewarded per chapter, but the least expensive decision I’ve come across thus far is 15 diamonds! You get to make the fun decisions for maybe the 1st or 2nd chapters of the first story you choose and then you’re either spending crazy money, making the lame and boring decisions until the diamonds are saved up, or trying to earn free diamonds by completing actions that NEVER pay out. I should have over 400 diamonds from completing those actions and I haven’t gotten a SINGLE one. I guess on the bright side you get to see pretty pictures and throw your hands up in frustration every time you can’t make an interesting decision because you don’t have enough diamonds. I’m half tempted to delete the app, but I keep hoping the diamonds will show up from the actions I’ve completed 😕

good story based game :)

much better art than other story games! love the movement in the live 2d animation. varied plots and characters to suit most interests. it’s also easier to collect gems for special choices than others with the daily reward, spin, ad chances, and end of chapter bonus. personally i’d love to see more stories like For Our Demon Lord (my favorite story) with a strong and dominant female mc. most of the stories have very dominant male love interests which gets tiring haha. also! in some stories there is a female friend or side character who expresses interest in mc but there is no way to romance them from what i see (royal blood and keeper of mine). it’s a missed opportunity from my point of view- they are cute and have lots of chemistry with the mc so it would be lovely to have an ending with them or maybe a side story :)

A-okay

Like the stories! Some have less diamond choices than others, which is nice. The diamonds are also pretty easy to get with the challenges and ads. However, the waiting time for the tickets is kinda ridiculous. It takes 3 hours to get 1 ticket, and you only get two. So there’s not very much reading I get. It’d make more sense for 3 hours, 3 tickets & to get them each hour. 🤷🏾‍♀️ That may just be me though. One of the better choice games though. Another thing is that you’ll make a choice and pay with diamonds, just to have to pay more within that choice to continue the choice you already paid for. Can be pretty annoying. And sometimes the choices aren’t really worth it, but sometimes without them you get bad outcomes in the story; or you're not really doing much within the story.

Love it but it does lack

Very few completed stories and the choices that aren’t still are very slim in pickings. There are some misspellings I’ve come across, not a big deal but would be great if they could provide a feedback list to point it out or other issues one could have. Could use more personalizing options when creating the character as I wasn’t completely satisfied with the avatars of some stories and didn’t want to spend gems on outfits or hairstyles that didn’t appeal to me. I hope that more options on all accounts comes with their growth. Personal improvements that would be great is if I could remove my accidentals clicks from the “My Stories” on the front page. Or have a favorites list. Although there is more I think could be done and improved these are the first and foremost that really feels like it needs attention.

Good Stories/Art but High Prices!

TLDR: Anime husbandos, good stories, too high prices. 3/5 ———————————————————— I love choose your own adventure games and I have quite a few downloaded to my phone. Love 365, Choices, Mystic Messenger, Emphemeral, ext. Out of the many that I use, this is one that has some of my favorite love interests since I’m a large fan of the anime style. I also really appreciate the fact that choices matter and change the course of your story. I often see the game pause and check to make sure if I have enough hearts or made crucial choices. On the flip side is the cost of this. Choices are insanely expensive and there’s no way to avoid getting a bad end without spending a good amount of gems each chapter. Even though I watch all the ads (10 gems), sign in often (3 gems), and complete missions (varies) I still don’t have enough gems to fund a chapter since one choice is usually 12-50 gems. It’s ridiculous and made me put down the app. I wish they did something like Choices where yes gems matter to getting crucial scenes with the Love Interest or help boost your chances at getting the best end, but you don’t need 10 gem choices every chapter just to make it to the good end. The way it is now, it feels like they consider us a walking wallet rather than a valued customer.

Free Dia Event and other stuff

I honestly really love this game. Usually, interactive stories are plain and the same as every other, but with this one I don’t have that problem. The only problem I have is that the ideal choices cost SO much dia that it makes me want to stop playing and wait until I can get the dia somehow, but there is no easy way too. I also have a problem with the free dia events. I honestly love the concept and that the stories for the event change, and you can just click the ideal choices and get them for free. But I’ve noticed that after a while, they stop being free in some stories despite still being labeled under the event. I don’t know if it’s a bug, but it’s misleading. Overall, I really enjoy this game, though, hence why I have 4 stars. It just needs some work when it comes to customer service as well as the Dia things.

Wow, just wow! I’m impressed!

So, I love interactive stories. I have 5 downloaded apps and out of those 5, maybe is now my favorite! The stories are well written. I love the illustrations you get throughout the story. The graphics have improved...more main stream from the anime, although I do like anime..the ones that have the MCs and LIs looking more human and natural are great. The app goes above and beyond with free diamonds. It allows you to try many stories out with 4 free diamond choices. It gives diamonds for watching quick 30 sec commercials. It even gives 30 plus diamonds for completing 10 chapters in a story and so much more! I started my romance interactive play with chapters but I find myself more and more playing maybe throughout the day! I highly recommend.

It’s Okay if You Buy Enough

Just played through one of the stories, Princess Irene. If you can’t buy the right choices, there’s a lot of plot holes and character inconsistencies. Your character isn’t allowed to be a decent person nor end up with a love interest, and the game doesn’t give you the slightest hint to the very end as to the results of your actions, asides from the “hearts” and % completed of each love interest. Not to mention the characters wear the exact same thing all game, from coming back capturing an enemy to attending the royal ball to lounging around their room. You even have to buy outfits for the other characters or have them look different, and even then the clothes you can buy don’t line up with the illustrations. Side characters specifically brag about their expensive new outfit when they’ve been wearing the same thing for two months straight. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience...

Only thing not making it great - diamond options

The game is a lot of fun and it’s intriguing, the only bad thing? The amount of diamonds needed to complete a task!! The game seriously asks for way too many gems per task. I mean 12 gems to interact?!?!!? Mis tod the interactive story games I’ve played 3 or 5 gems per task, and it keeps me wanting to play more and get others on it as well, cause I know in a few hours my diamonds or gems would have been replenished at a suitable amount and I’d be able to continue having fun. This game would be great if the developers lowered the amount of diamonds needed to complete a task, especially as not everyone who plays it, is able to spend money on diamonds every day, as is likely to happen with this game if you truly want to experience it in all its glory. It’s the only thing stopping me from telling others about it.

Well made!

The games themselves are fantastic. Gorgeous artwork, fun storylines, interactive choices. The only thing I have a problem with is the price of the diamonds and how often you have to use them to get the outcome you want. I really wish they would make it a one time purchase kind of thing instead of a bunch of micro transactions. I paid for the $10 a month premium and even that doesn’t help me get the diamonds I need. Which is super annoying, but at the same time I do understand that the creators work hard on these games and deserve compensation. I’d rather pay one large chunk of money one time than pay small amounts multiple times. Overall, I’ll definitely continue to pay and play these games because they’re great quality!

Needs rebalancing

To sum up pretty much every review here: the art and stories are charming and the app is well designed, but the diamond balance is waaay off. Correct, story-progressing options are expensive and NECESSARY to get a good ending. Every. Single. One. The ‘alternate’ endings—where you have not maxed out a love interest by selecting diamond options— are actively bad and make the entire story a waste of your time. Because I like the design of the app, I basically read 1 chapter a week. This is the only way I am able to save up enough diamonds to select the ‘real’ answers in a given episode. This is WITH the recent addition of a diamond/ticket roulette available 3x per day on weekends. I have a crazy excess of chapter tickets with this method of play when I’d much rather have diamonds, but what can ya do. I think this app has a lot of potential, but definitely needs to be rebalanced.

writing this review because i’m disappointed. So the first story i’ve played is Royal Blood and i finished it last night. Very disappointed.. You shouldn’t get this app and expect to enjoy the story even without choosing the diamond options because apparently you cannot. For Royal Blood, at the end there’s a point where you have to decide who to give your Dampir powers to. You have the options of the three brothers, but you can’t choose any of them unless you have a 100% hearts with one of the boys. The only possible way to have 100% is if you always choose the diamond options! DON’T get this app unless you’re willing to spend all your diamonds on one story and continuously buy more to get a normal ending. Because if you don’t, you get a bad ending. I’m upset because i did spend almost all my diamonds and all tickets to read that whole story and just to get a bad ending..
