Guys watch your payment history, make sure the bank charge you fair interest not more. I am paying from the last 5 months almost 100$ is interest and 185$ is principal payment. So!!! Now! They did change me 220 interest and 65 they minus from my principal payment!!!!!’ I have all the screenshots I did from my statements history first month the they changed me 102$ internet after first month they charged me 200$+.. when I bought my car they said the interest rate will come lower! Now it jumped from 100$ to 220$. I can’t believe that. And!!! When I start taking screenshots of the monthly payment history the appAutomatically disappeared all the payments history. I am going to talk with the dealer now from whom I bought the car. He told me if there is any issue of payment let us know. I kept all the screenshots for the dealer.
I got my first car and the dealership used this bank and so far, honestly regret making business with this company. The website and app are so buggy. I set up a recurring payment on the website and hoping it would work. 2 days after the first due date, no charges in my bank account and found out that the recurring payments don’t even work. Now I installed the app, and trying to copy and paste my account/routing #s wouldn’t work because I have to tab out of the app to copy it from my bank, and the numbers kept disappearing… it’s so annoying. If you’re going to be in business, the minimum you can do is have a working WEBSITE AND APP!!! Thanks to you, I’m late on my first payment! Fix your cr ap and get a professional designer as well!!! Definitely refinancing to another bank sometime soon.
I see the app in my settings all the settings are correct but the app doesn’t show up on my screens. I always have to go to the App Store re-open the app and get in using my Face ID. This has caused problems because once or twice it caused my payment to be a few days late. I know I can set up automatic payments and all that but I should not have to, I don’t do it for any of my other bills because their apps I can see and I can take care of business accordingly. If you have an app it should show up, that’s my mental trigger to pay the bill.
This app is straight out of 2004. There’s essentially no features, it doesn’t show your account number, it doesn’t show your interest rate, just your current balance. With this loan company being so popular I’m surprised their app is garbage, I’ll make sure to never go through them again and will be refinancing soon anyways, I prefer to live in the modern age.
I bought my first car through this bank(not by choice just what the dealership used) and so far the app has been very tricky to use and inconvenient and inconsistent. On only my third payment I paid it, remember very clearly paying it. But it didn’t submit and I was late because of the app. I’m sure it’s avoidable but it was very inconvenient as a first time car buyer to see that late statement when it wasn’t my fault:/
It would be extremely helpful to be able to find contact info for Mechanics Bank on the app instead of having to Google search the business name. Also, with my Apple phone, fingerprint login is not an option. Why isn’t there a facial recognition option?
The app is so buggy, they recommend you on the phone to have the app but it’s awful! not helpful at all. I’ve been having problems with this app for the past 2 years i’ve worked with them. I always do my business in a browser if I can. if you can avoid working with this bank please do. I wish i could return my car because I hate working with them so bad.
Unfortunately I’m managing 2 car payments through this. The bank won’t merge the two accounts, and even after I sign out of one account it brings up the other account when I tried to make a payment. Tried to set up recurring payments, but then they don’t happen and I get late fees. Guess I have to just mail checks??
You would think in 2021 these multi-million dollar companies would invest some time and money into an easy to use app for their customers. App is ridiculously bad and always crashes and the interface is so outdated. I just use the website because it’s easier to use. Don’t bother downloading!!!
After 3 tries I am giving up trying to register a password🤬😡Nothing should be this broken! I expect better from a bank. I guess its snail mail to make my car payment, cause Wells Fargo doesn’t have them on bill pay either! I need to get away from banks like this.
App won’t allow the updating of payment information and customer service just insulted my intelligence for having technical issues with the app, instead of listening to what was actually behaving. The app is near-useless.
This app is fundamentally broken. It’s almost like it’s designed to screw your over. The payments are always “processing” and never go through on time even when you pay them a week in advance.
I always get an error message trying to log in . Still can’t figure it out . Good apps are easy to navigate, I’m already having problems logging in . It keeps saying “exceptions something went wrong ….”
The app is not user friendly, there’s nothing good about this company and I honestly regret buying my car because of how difficult it is making payments and having to call because payments were disappearing.
For some reason, I'm getting an error when attempting to log in to the app with my credentials, but logging into my account on a web browser works fine.
App is terrible, website will not let you register, so your only option is to pay by phone which charges you a fee, or via snail mail. I haven’t made my first payment and I’m calling my Credit Union tomorrow to try and refinance.
Not much I can say that hasn’t already been said. It’s a Crap app. & now that I read the reviews, they are probably ripping me off, too. And I’m Super ticked. But there’s nothing we can do other than major a class action, lawsuit 🤣
I wanted to pay off my car loan, about $30k, but they do not allow you to pay it off online or electronically at all. The ONLY option was to FedEx a cashiers check. Wow, this is 2023 not 1995.
This app is absolute garbage. I recently got this loan in oct 2019 and had no issues with the app and making payments despite the mountain of terrible reviews saying how bad and glitchy it was. However, the most recent update really screwed things up. The app won’t even open. It’s just a black screen then immediately crashes every time. And the most recent update was OVER A MONTH AGO and they have made literally zero effort to fix. If you want me to make timely payments, give me the resources to do so. Because the website is just as much garbage. You have to enter your banking info every time you make a payment. It’s total BS that late payments could potentially have an impact on our credit scores and screw things up in our actual real lives, when people are literally trying to throw their money at you and can’t even make a payment without jumping through 10 billion hoops. COMPLETE BS!
My source to pay my truck and I can’t even do that. Crashes when attempting to pay. Crashes when I review my contact info. After signing in my truck account disappears. When it decides to let me attempt to pay it keeps cycling on agreeing to pay my bill. I’m left guessing if I submitted a payment or if my account will be billed multiple times. I can’t win with this app. As a lender if you put in the effort to approve loans at least update n fix your app that assures your OWN customers to pay you back. Last thing I need is a late payment due to your poor business management. No option to submit a complaint in the app no feed back option. At this point im ready to slap someone across the face w a physical check if I had the option.
This was fine for the first two years of my loan. Was able to make payments and would save my banking information so I didn’t have to enter it every time I made a payment like when you do online. Now my loan account won’t even come up and when I re entered it, it would pop up once but didn’t save. Got this loan at a high interest rate cause my credit was bad at the time, maybe it’s time to take up one of refinance offered I’ve been getting in the mail lately. I’m sure a bigger bank like Bank of America or Capital One who have both been sending me offers would have an IT team that actually knows how to create and update an app.
Their last update 3 weeks ago said we could now sign in my Touch ID or face recognition. No where on my app does it even let you opt into that feature. To me that screams false advertisement. If I’m missing something please feel free to point it out but I clicked on everything within the app and nowhere does even mention it yet if you look at this app right now it says you can now sign in that way. It also restricts you from making more than $2,500 within a 30 day period. If you want to make more than that you have to send them an actual check which is ridiculous in this day and age.
App isn’t worth using. It never works and always crashes. I think I’ve been able to make a total of three payments with the app because that is how often it doesn’t work. You are better off making a payment through their website even though it is very outdated and not organized. Many times I have tried using the app and I am left wondering if my payment even went through. I have to call my bank to see if the payment was processed and the answer is usually no. I then just go to the website to make my payment.
The app has always functioned the way it’s supposed to, ever since I downloaded it six months ago. I’m shocked to see reviews saying that the app doesn’t work properly. I’ve been able to log in successfully, every time. I pay my car payment by using the app, every month, with no issues at all. Viewing my statement history in the same app/place is also great. It would be great to have Touch ID added.
Be very careful with this App! Payment don’t process correctly, it will send you an email and you can even see the posted amount online. But customer service will tell you that account number number is invalid. You can’t remove the account or even edit the account number. For 2yrs I have payment my car not on this app and nothing but issues now. Deleting this app and I will got go online to process all payment. This app is an inconvenience. Thank you
App was fine for last year 2019, not sure what happened, but since December 2019 and now January 2020. This app crashes every time I try to get in. It doesn’t open at all. I removed it and downloaded again and same issue. Now I have to go online to make a payment which never saves my bank information and I have to enter each month. Fix this app or get it out of the App Store or respond to comments. Lazy tech department
Trying to pay my car payment on this app I’m filling out my bank account info and routing info. Like most people these days I just copy and paste from my phone between my banking app and the site. I fill in the bank account number then switch apps to get the routing info, when I get back to the crb app the info that I put in for the bank account has already depopulated. I can do this easier just using the mobile website... Useless
This company will not help you at all they get you with late fees event if you call and ask them you need and extension specially times like this they won’t work with you. They promise to help you and send your info and they never do. I spoke to Gabby and she’s had a bad attitude Im sure it because she has no help with management I don’t recommend this company. Take you business some where else. That why they have 1.5 stars that should tell you a lot.
The app used to work in dark mode. Now the table view in the hamburger menu is missing text and you can’t see the amount you are putting in for a custom payment. What happened to Face ID?!?! Tried to use my keychain password to login because the biometrics wasn’t working and the keychain auto fill didn’t work correctly either. Go back to the last version if your going to break all the features in the app!
This app never works always crashes when trying to setup auto, even when trying to make one time payment.. this app is not helpful and I’m convinced it’s built to get you late payments.. to many bugs in this app.. waist of time .. I would have gave zero stars if I could have .. I couldn’t even use this app to make my payment just terrible
Literally the worst company I have every dealt with . They give you the run around . App constantly crashes . If you register through the app you’ll have even more issues because it Will be different for website versions . So if you try to login online you end up locking yourself out having to reset and make a new password
The app just plan ol doesn’t work. You can tell the developers don’t care about it at all. Apparently neither does the company. If I could choose to deal with another company I would. The app crashes constantly. I can’t even make a payment! Do you guys not want my money? Do you even read these reviews? Do you even care about your customers? The button for remembering Face ID still says remember finger print. It’s been more than 3 years since Face ID came out and you haven’t fixed that? That’s just the tip of this schitshows iceberg. I’m gonna refinance just so I don’t have to deal with this crap.
This is the worst app/bank. I used to have Toyota financial before I got my newer vehicle and on that app it saves my routing number and checking account number. But this app and on the website doesn’t save that information. So each month you have to re type in your information. It’s such a hassle, I wish I didn’t get a new car. Don’t waste your time or phone space.
This app needs to be fixed so I can make my payment on time. I’m having problems with this app crashing on me. Contacted CRB about this. They did absolutely nothing about it. Not impressed. Had to us their web page to make a payment. It cost me $10 more. Which they would not waive even though I expanded to them that it wasn’t my fault. Fix your app or waive the fee.
This app was working just fine, for me, for almost two years but now suddenly it crashes every time I try to open it. Uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issue so I’m not sure what’s going on since I just used it to make a payment last month.
This app used to work wonderfully. Now it crashes when you log in or right after. Had to go to the website to pay. Account information for my bank wasn’t available on that site so I had to re enter. Please fix!!
I didn’t have a problem with the app until I had to get a new bank account. Now I can’t change my primary source of payment to the new account because it won’t let me add it. Pretty frustrating.
