5 stars!!!! DOWNLOAD NOW. PS I’m a real person lol. A lot of these apps nowadays require you to pay to play. This seems like a very accessible app without all the other subscriptions you need to sufficiently interact with other users (: give it a try! I promise you won’t regret it (((((:

The concept is cool. However, the matching system is flawed. For example, when you set distance, it’s a slider bar, with literally only 3 stop points. You can’t adjust by miles, it just automatically sets it, and it’s dumb. Why do I want to match with people 50+ miles away? Also, if you “passed” on someone previously, but change your mind, and you “like” them, it permanently registers your initial swipe, no matter what. The age range is only 18-50, which is eh. Overall the app is just like any other. Limited amount of likes per day, pay to get more, pay to see who likes you, pay to respond to comments that people leave on your pictures, pay to message someone (you can talk to each other, if you match). For an app that wants you to pay for basic features left and right, you’d think the “feedback” or “support” buttons would be functional, at least, but those aren’t either, and I do have the latest version.

Just like others, I got an error message. It froze and boom my whole profile was gone. I was a paid subscriber so I made a new profile from scratch. It was fine for a couple days and then I tried to get on and it said my account was banned for breaking the guidelines. I didn’t do anything wrong. Emailed customer service and got no response. Nothing. This is after paying the high subscription fee for months. I canceled my subscription. Done.

The experience of a dating app is to meet people whether they are in your area or not but preferably in your area. This app is probably the most un-social dating app I’ve used. The app’s exposure could be part of the problem but there also isn’t any incentives for users to be active at least not on the free side. This app has potential but at the moment there isn’t any traffic on the app.

So far I’ve been enjoying the app, but there have been several instances where I’ve been chatting it up with a match only to find out that the they’re a state or two away. Having some kind of rough location info available upfront would save a lot of time.

It does not tell you where someone is from. You kind of get the hint if the guy is wearing sports apparel in his pics. I know the area I live in doesn’t have many good looking Latinos so I started getting suspicious when I kept liking so many profiles. Everyone I have liked is in Cali. I live 1.5k miles away from Cali. And yes my profile is selected for “closer to me.” Judging by other reviews this is an ongoing issue that should be fixed. Unless it’s y’all telling me I should move because there is nothing in my area lol

I like the concept of MySpace and other dating apps put together . There’s music to listen to, their “ anthems “ . I keep getting people from across the country it’s kind of pointless haha to like them when , they are hundreds of miles away. Will give 5 stars when we can set location or distance

Tho it’s a nice app but once people are out of reach and profiles aren’t in your area, you can’t text people you already match with till you see other people to match with which is insane. The developers should have thought of something that silly. Why can’t I text my matches all because they aren’t other people to match with? Think about it?

I’ve been on every single other dating app and Mi Gente is the first and only authentic Hispanic app! It celebrates our culture in a fun and colorful way. Lots of serious users ready to build relationships and friendships. The music feature is my favorite! Keep it up guys!

The whole purpose of a dating app is to date people near you. You would think that would be self explanatory with an app but when there is no way to set location on the main part of the app it becomes pointless to even use it. I shouldn’t be sliding through people across the country that I will never meet.

I’ve haven’t Found Any thing as Of Yet. Although That it’s going to Take a While because I’m ugly But worth it. But this is App is Truly the best app out there in The Market. God Bless The Creators of Mi Gente and I’ll recommend Towards every one that is single .

Im gonna get straight to the point, don’t download this app. I’ve used this app for a while and all I’ve ever come across are people that want to sell their you know “photos” if that’s not the case then people are just scammers/catfishes. I’m not trying to be all negative but this is all you come across. Sure they’re are some verified people but you would also have to be lucky for them to like you back lol.

This dating app has the potential to be the very best ever but I keep running into a Reoccurring problem. Undercover gay guys that steal attractive women’s pictures and create fake accounts to lure men that are actually seeking a partner , to send them nude pictures. I am not in anyway shape or form a bigot or homophobic person but transgender folk are also tricking men into sending them nude pictures.

Pros: I like that it’s a Latino dating app, and the profile design is cool. I like the music feature that plays their favorite song when you visit their profile, and the questions are light and fun. Cons: You have to pay to see who you match with! On top of that, they are likely too far to meet up! Not worth the free download if you ask me.

This last update has been making the app bug here and there plus they changed the distance to miles instead of exact location which is kinda stupid because it’s maxed out at 50 miles so you can’t really even see how far they actually are.

The app could be great if they developers would add a feature to control the distance/location that the search results shows. So far I have matched with people that are in different states and that kind of takes away from the whole experience

Its a great app love the music feature but it be nice if it actually showed me people that are near me not the other side of the country. It be nice to update it later but I would want to meet also people close to me

it’s cool and all but this app is basically not even feee because of all the features it takes away with out the subscription you can’t dont anything basically if you don’t have the subscription

I’ve used both chispa and mi gente. Mi gente is a newer and a little bit better. Love the music aspect. Would be nice to add more prompts for profiles

Only reason for the two stars is that it doesn’t match you with people in your area whatsoever! Matched with someone who is very very nice and mature and downside is she is in NEW YORK and I live in TEXAS… fix the radius setting even when I have it close to me it throws me all over the globe. I’m flexible option doesn’t do anything

The only complaint I got is that it lets me login the app about 25% of the time I try to go in it. The other 75% it stays in its little loading screen forever.

It would be 5 , butttttt the fact that you have to pay to see others messages , to get likes , or other things . Is the reason I’m Giving you 3 stars the APP is okay . I use it but I often forget I have it .

It's a cool app and all but you literally have to pay for everything. Can only like so many profiles per day and even if you pay for "mi gente boost" which is $10/month you still don't get to like unlimited amounts of profiles.

Seems quite slow when changing settings. I had no clue how to use it, there should be like a quick tutorial on how to navigate the app before you start using it. It didn’t seem like your regular swipe r/l app. The profile is you tapping to see all the info of the person. Distance was disregarded when matches were populating. Has a lot of potential, but may need some work done. I’ll do an update review in a few months.

I just downloaded the app but I’m bisexual. It made me choose between one or the other. They had plenty of options to select my own gender but I had to choose what I was looking for witch was disappointing.

There’s to many girls selling content and barely any are actually verified, I think everyone should get verified weekly or their profile gets deleted, but how else are they gonna get you to keep swiping lol and everyone I do match with lives in a different state than cali

It was going all good until it just either the app crashed or something because it just logged me out out of nowhere and it’s not letting me log back in.

Solid app, only problem is we shouldn’t be seeing people across the country

Many profiles are spam or people asking you for money. Messages go un responded by customer support. They are definitely read, because they tweaked my profile when I complained about something, but didn’t think it was important to reply.

The app is good and not too many fake profiles but $10 a week is too much and most people wont pay that

Keep asking me to change my preference and it doesn’t even help. I can’t even message the people i got added. Before it used to work and I liked it I’ve met and gone out w multiple females but now I can’t even text them on here

You cannot match/swipe unless you pay for premium. Distance feature doesn’t keep the limits. Not fluid nor user friendly. No quick intro for how to use.

Love how easy it is to sign up and use the app. Founds lots of good profiles on there as well!

The app has the potential to be a good one; however, if your settings are wrong, don’t expect customer service to reply to you. They won’t and you’re stuck with the wrong settings and pulling very young people.

The app is cool I like how different it is but the biggest issue is not having a location setting or showing the distance ! I’m in Florida matching with people in California and Texas . Fix this and the app will be amazing !

I just download it and I already ran out of likes ! We shouldn’t be limited to likes. I like how the song plans when your on a profile but why isn’t a swipe left and right thing ?

Range doesn’t work. Slider does not move and you match with people 1k miles away which makes it basically useless. I like the music built in

I downloaded this app because I have a hard time finding dates on other sites with other Latinos. The app was easy to set up but everyone that I come across loves states away. Also I’m queer and it doesn’t let me choose any gender.

I’ve ran into nothing but scammers, even the verified ones are scammers/catfishing. Everyone is in the army when in reality they are poor and wanting someone to take care of them. I haven’t spoke to not one real person yet and I been on for about a month.

I get matches…BUT, they’re fake women. Only here for you to buy there content . Black mail you once they find out more about your personal life and some only reply if you send them $$$. Horrible experience. This generation of women is ruined .

Do not download it’s a scam, they match you with people in different states so if you’re in California, all your matches are going to be in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and New York. Which makes sense since gas prices are so high the main thing you want to do is drive to another state

Loved the concept when I first started using it until I realized it doesn’t let you choose a distance radius or whatever, I’m in Texas I don’t want to meet people from California. Once they fix that I’ll change the rating.

New user, and noticed all potential matches are all out of state. I emailed support days ago and never got a response. Perhaps the app is new, however no response from tech. Support is unacceptable. Don't waste you’re money on this app.
