Miccostumes Cosplay Shopping

They say if you get the app you get 5 dollars off your 1st I thought cool beans man 5 dollars off I’m poor so I love to save money but then I found out you can only use it for orders over 65 dollars and not on any items that are already discounted. This makes this already small discount almost useless considering about half there stuff is on sale and barely anybody’s going to spend or 65 dollars on costumes

I’ve bought a couple costumes from this store because they’re fairly priced for good costumes, so I’m giving two stars. BUT—the app is absolutely awful. The website works fine but this app is not user friendly for the following reasons: 1) Searching via the app will often force the app to freeze and not respond. 2) Sometimes I’ll search something I KNOW exists (like BNHA, Demon Slayer, Naruto) and it’ll tell me nothing exists in those categories. I have to close the app and re-open it to try again which is so annoying. 3) The most baffling thing is when I’m TRYING to add something to my cart to buy it and the “add to cart” button just won’t work. I’ll adjust the sizing and refresh the page and it still won’t let me buy it. If this is because the item is out of stock, then fine. But there’s nothing to indicate that and is ultimately incredibly frustrating. 4) Sometimes if you search too many things in a row, the search engine breaks and won’t show you anything except your previous search results. 5) Scrolling is an ordeal. All the product images will go white and scrolling becomes impossible. 6) there is no “like” or “save to wishlist” button despite there being a wishlist under your profile. Mine is empty because I can’t find where or how to add things to it. Bottom line is: buy from their website. This app just makes it too difficult to browse. I’ll edit this review and let you know if they fix any of the above issues.

See, I like the quality and price of the costumes on here! It makes things cheaper and easier to find. I love how easy it is to get lost in something you want to buy so badly ( But i’m broke so yeah- ). But anyways, one thing i’ve learned is that the website on computer or a laptop is SO MUCH BETTER than the actual app! The app glitches out sometimes and the orders get messed up according to others. I was ordering a Todoroki cosplay and it was getting confusing on the app so I ended up just going on a computer. So yeah...- my advice is to just use a computer or just use the app to make an account.

Sure good cosplays for a decent price… but… I’ve had TOO many issues. First the tighnari swimsuit.. my biggest complaint.. I ordered it for a reduced price back in May. It kept getting delayed and delayed over and over again. And they told me that they didn’t have the materials to make it… originally they told me to cancel and they said they’d give me a coupon in return for the same I paid for it… I WOULDNT want to buy from this shop EVER again after each attempt they’ve had to get me to pay double to price for things, things not showing up and blaming me for it, and so on so forth… just.. AVOID at all costs.. I’ll be also announcing the absolute AVOID at all cost on my person TikTok as well. Now miccostume… do better…

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY STEAL AND LIE! Their adds are probably fake to get money- I tried ordering a thumbelina costume a few weeks ago- and after 2 weeks I saw it hasn’t been shipped yet so I emailed this company asking when it will ship- it was only THEN that I was informed that they are actually not making that costume anymore. So THEY forgot to take the dress off the market that THEY apparently no longer make, which allowed orders to go through for. They only refunded me because I inquired about the product and made them refund ($70). They also didn’t take the add down until I told them they should for misleading information. Your better off getting a costume from the dollar tree

I’ve purchased from Miccostumes before and they really do not do a good job of keeping track of what’s sold out and what isn’t. The app does not say if a costume is sold out or still in stock. In order for me to figure out if a costume was available I had to look at the processing time if it’s greater than 10 days then the product is not available. Another thing I would like to see changed is to put how many of a costume, wig, accessory is in stock. Like how AliExpress does it by put that this product has this many pieces in stock.

as a person who frequently has bought from miccocostumes over the years, the cosplays and other items are always high quality. the only issue is the application itself. the browser site is alright, albeit a little finicky but the app is straight up unusable. a while back it was perfectly fine but after a few updates it has gradually declined in quality. i highly recommend miccocostumes to any cosplayer but the app is basically unusable and this causes a lot of people— myself included to steer away from the company all together. it is glitchy, hard to navigate, extremely laggy, and the layout is poor. unless you're willing to spend 15 minutes trying to order something, i suggest just using the browser version of miccocostumes.

I prefer to buy from the actual website because sometimes the app is glitchy when I try to purchase things, also the app isn’t IPhone 12 friendly haha, the search bar is blocked by the camera on my screen and it makes the app hard to use. I really recommend them just on their off oak webpage :)

I LOVE Miccostumes cosplays, but I hate their app. Never had a problem ordering on the site, but when I ordered on the app my order was delayed. It’s constantly crashing, and half the stuff won’t load. You can’t filter cosplays by size (which is tough because not all their cosplays carry XS, so I have to click each individual one just to see) You also can’t access your reward points..it just says “Network Error”. So in short, just use the website 😕

I recently got a miu iruma from danganronpa V3 cosplay from here. it arrived in august. everything was amazing quality but when i opened the wig, everything looked fine i tried it on and i mean, it’s not the WORST wig, just needed some work. i recommend buying from here! :))

when i started using the app it would log me out of my account and i would have to log back in ALL the time, but it doesn’t do that anymore which im very glad. I ordered a Zenitsu swimsuit so im still waiting for it to come, great app! ☺️

Can you make it so I can put my credit card expiration date more than 2027. Mine is past that expiration date. This is a great app so far but it won’t let you put the expiration date any farther than 2027 so I haven’t been able to buy anything yet.

I went to purchase a swimsuit but it said transaction failed only to find out later that it charged me 4 times on my card and didn’t even place an order once. So now I have to get ahold of my bank and fix the issue. I’m just irritated that it took almost all the money out of my account so I can’t use my card anywhere else until I fix this issue.

Paid for & got confirmation of items shipped and estimated shipping time. I then got a random email from a “Denise Yang” saying the item will be delayed. I said this is fine & asked for updated delivery date. Only to be told that my times were sold out because “I didn’t reply in time”. They ultimately refunded my order, this is the only good thing I can say about the company. Other than that, it’s a joke.

the website works fine. but it’s clear they don’t put much effort into the app. the website will have all of their cosplays listed in categories. the app is missing some of their stock, and the categorization is buggy. scrolling through cosplays at some point it tries to load more but gets stuck like that.

Both PayPal options open the same regular pay screen. Please allow pay in 4 for the love of God. It’s not like you guys are losing money since cosplay is off-the-rack now.

I love the quality of the Genshin swimsuits I’ve bought, but both the app and the site are incredibly glitchy and janky. Everything takes forever to load, and I frequently have to close and reopen the app because it bugs out. 5 star costumes, absolute 1 star app.

App doesn’t even function properly. It’s a shopping app, but won’t let me place an order? Various menus don’t work and when I try to confirm my order, it doesn’t even place it... If much rather use their website than this buggy app.

There is a bug that constantly changes the size I order (x-large) to small in the shopping cart. This caused me to order an expensive costume in the wrong size. Be very cautious in every check out stage to double check it doesn’t change your size.

The app is too laggy and every time I search for something the screen is blank or white. Please fix this. The website is much better.

If you plan to buy from them, don’t go through the app. The app is very buggy and glitchy, and when to press confirm, it usually cancels you. I placed my order and never received a confirmation if it got placed or not.

I ordered a cosplay over a month ago, I was told it would be shipped in March. I contact them and after a week, they respond saying it’s out of stock after I already paid for it.

iPhone 12 Pro. App crashes right after opening it for the first time and selecting a language.

It’s way too expensive!!! Why so much for a wig and a costume I’d much rather prefer amazon or ebay I can get it there pre styled and everything for about 20 bucks while dang most of what I found is around 50-110 way too much sorry- I don’t got the money for that

All the cosplays are amazing! One problem though..all the cosplays are SO expensive I can hardly afford anything. I also love how there are SOOO many cosplays/wigs and accessories! I love the how the range is very large and a lot of cosplays are on there.But since I am broke, I can’t order anything large 😹. The quality is amazing, I recommend ordering from this app - @despairkorumi/ @fizzypanta
