I really liked the idea behind this game. It reminds me of the old Dr. Brain games. The story line is interesting and the puzzles are fun. However, once you get to the end of chapter 2 you must pay to continue. The price doesn’t seem bad, 2.99 for the rest of the game plus unlimited hints and no ads. I just wish there was a way to continue without paying. From what I could see of the story it seemed very short (only 5 chapters total) for 2.99 when I probably wouldn’t use many of the hints and the ads didn’t bother me.
It’s a very good introduction to point and click games. Frankly, i prefer the no ads, pay-for-the-whole thing model, myself, but I’m an adult and less averse to rewarding developers for their hard work. And I didn’t mind the ads first, free sample version much at all... Maybe people need it made clear that this is the deal up front. “Look, you can play the lite version for free but that’s it.” The game itself is good but simple, and so is the plot. I’d say this is a game that an early adolescent could play with interest and no real difficulty, but experienced older players may find it too easy. But we need games like this to get those younger players into the genre, so I’m firmly giving this five stars for the kids. It’s a good game; don’t listen to the grumbling of others about the payment model, as they could have denied access without payment altogether.
I am just now beginning this game, so I can’t rate gameplay. However, I am SO pleased that the developers offered the full game with no ads for $2.99 right from the beginning. I like that integrity. To those who complain, do you think developers have no right to be paid for their work? Players are CLUELESS if they think technology should be free. I wonder if those who complain about the cost would be willing to work for free. I can only imagine that those who complain must be children. Well done, Mindsweeper!
Update: deducting 2 stars because I played the last chapter after after writing the review below. This was not actually a real chapter, and it left me feeling ripped off. It was obvious that this was originally supposed to be a whole chapter like the others, but I guess the developers ran out of time and just abruptly stopped working on it. This ruined the entire story and gave me a negative view of the whole game. Another great game from Snapbreak! As with their other games, the puzzles are very simple...but that’s why I like them so much. Great graphics and controls. Just wish it was longer!
This was really fun! While I didn’t have to resort to using any clues, the puzzles were still challenging! I love the cube-like graphics, too. I’ll be buying the full game. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 The ONLY negative I found (and why I only gave 4 stars) is that you can not flip the game. I have my charger on the left side of me when I play so I need to have the screen display the game w the charge chord on my left but since your game won’t flip, I’m forced to have the chord pull across me and be on my right. It just doesn’t make the play as easy as the chord is in the way. 😬
The puzzles are excellent. The storyline is amazing. But then, wham! It’s done. For the price, I can’t complain. But this is an idea that deserves to be fleshed out more. Honestly it’s Myst-like but at the same time very different and more psychological. You just start to really develop a 3 dimensional picture of the main character when it ends. I hope they can expand or develop a new game, it’s a great setup and I wish there was more of it.
A pretty good fantasy game with a pretty decent storyline. All the exploring and hidden things to find definitely add some challenge but also some fun Things that would be nice:less puzzle sensitivity, bigger use range meaning placing objects for something you need them for can be annoying when you just can’t seem to drag it to its place, also an optional joystick;tap to move can be fussy Overall it’s a pretty good game
I enjoyed several participating games much more.. I can’t say it’s just for kids because some of the puzzles are hard to imagine where the solutions were derived and Im pretty good. After several attempts if I’m not enjoying it, I’ll pass and skip. If I am enjoying the struggle, I’ll work it out. Most of these have lame stories but I’m used to that.. still looking for more challenges and some nice technology.
While not necessarily free, unless you have no hair to tear out or are a bona fide genius, the puzzles are more than entertaining enough to make up for the somewhat lackluster storyline. I’ll admit, the conclusion did give me a minor emotional reaction, but then the game is over just as quickly. Even so, for the paltry money it costs for the full game zero ads and unlimited hints, it’s altogether worth your time. 👍👍
I really enjoy the Snapbreak titles as they allow me to play casually over a lunch or a break without getting too head-scratching. Yes, the puzzle design is mostly familiar tropes here but concept here is unique and intriguing, and scenes are really fun to navigate and they get more interesting as you go. I particularly loved the one in the Zen garden with the monks. Would love to see a sequel to this!
I just started playing this game but, I can already tell I’m going to love it . Finally a non fighting , non card collecting game that is really fun . I love collecting items and figuring out how the work in the story line. I’m excited to continue ! If your like me an you don’t like fighting, card games give this a try! You will not be disappointed
This game is a little on the short side but still very fun. It has a great story line! I don’t know if the $2.99 will seem worth it to everyone. I think I only got like 3 more levels to complete which wasn’t much. They were the same style with finishing the puzzles and collecting the three stamps.
Love these doors games by this developer! I think I have them all. However, Doors Paradox has a glitch that needs to be fixed. When I watch an ad for a hint, I do not get a hint. Tried watching 5 ads and nothing. I’ve never had one problem with Doors games. Please fix!
I like the sci fi promise, but feel the developers got a little lost in the execution. As usual, I like this company’s puzzles. The third person navigation was clunky. I much prefer the more efficient first person on their other games. And I agree, the story was lacking in the end. Of course I continue to pay to play all their games. 2.99 or 3.99 is very reasonable for the length and quality of play.
This game is so awesome! The graphics and picture and really good. The storyline is so intriguing. I’m not even very far in but the game is amazing. The puzzles are so challenging and the fact that you can collect stamps as memories and as a sort of coin type thing, like a trophy. I’m not usually one to write reviews , but this game is so awesome! Absolutely love it!❤️❤️
I love this game this game is amazing my only problem is the first level of the second chapter I can’t find the third sticker if somebody could help me that that be great but besides that this game is amazing the puzzles are really easy and simple that’s what makes it fun it’s not the most challenging.
The game play was okay. The puzzles weren't really puzzles, so it feels more like an exploration game. When that's the case, the story needs to be really good. The story didn't capture my attention. The worst was that I hold my phone to one side, and the game wouldn't flip on the iOS. (I don't have the rotate lock on, I checked!) So I had to play with my phone flipped on the wrong side. So much of the interface seems right handed, so it bothered me throughout.
I really really love this game I have already recommended it to 6 of my friends and they have bought the other chapters. Unfortunately I can not get them now due to some personal reasons but I wish I could because this game kept my mind busy with the sounds and puzzles. Thanks so much creators! 👍🏻
This game is really nice and fun which is the same with all of your games, but not having the full game on here is not as much fun. Try making some of your games already having the full package in the game so that more people can play and you will get more money.
So you play a couple chapters and then have to pay a lousy $1.99 to finish the last chapters. Why is ANYONE complaining about this? $1.99 for a few hours worth of entertainment is nothing. Stop being so cheap people!
I thought the overall experience of the game was quite nice, it kind of reminded me of an escape room game. My only concern is after two chapter I have to pay for the game. I would have much rather been told to pay for the game up front or not at all. I get the developers wanted people to have a taste for the game to entice them to pay for it but at $1.99 a chapter I think this is a ripoff.
I thought this was a very well made game. The puzzles were challenging. The chapters were interesting. But then I got to chapter 3 and I wasn’t allowed to play anymore unless I payed, I didn’t feel like it was worth spending money on. So I deleted the app because there is not point to having it if I can’t play. Unless you want to pay to play then I wouldn’t recommend this game.
Unfortunately I have to give this 1 star. I enjoyed the game a lot. It’s interactive and fun but the fact that it stops you from advancing and you have pay to get any more levels after that is ridiculous. It’s a money grab and it’s robbery. It would make more sense to have free levels and charge for hints and certain boosters to help you with levels. I’ll have to delete it because I won’t be spending any money on it. What a waste.
This game appears to be free but halfway through the game you have to pay money. You can play through the first two chapters which are 3 levels each in about 30 minutes. Then you have to pay $1.99 for the third chapter and then pay again for the fourth chapter. I’m not willing to pay $2 for 15 minutes of game play.
This was a good game and I don’t really mind the cost (although the 5th chapter is ridiculously short). The issue for me is that after collecting all the memory fragments, nothing is unlocked or changed. Idgaf whether or not she liked lanterns, I collected them all because I wanted to unlock a secret level or cutscene. Seems like a minimal amount of effort that just wasn’t put in. Disappointing.
Its a magnificent game but I feel like its too short the puzzles are amazing and the game has an excellent mindset that emerges the player into another world I sat that you implement other chapters into the game and satisfy the players thank you 🙏
Imagine playing this game and after every level they force you to watch 30 second ads but hey why not just have a paywall where you pay them a sum of money to not have ads at all! Great idea !!!! After the first two stories which were fun, I expected to continue only to be blocked by another pay wall to play the other stories. Talk about greedy devs.
I love this game so much! I love the puzzles and how you use your brain to complete them. Keep up the good effort soon I hope the creator become famous! This game is the best for kids it makes me think and think smartly.
It draws you into the story and halfway through you can only continue if you purchase it. The finale is what made me write this, because the levels were very short and the finale was one lame puzzle that really ruined the ending. If it had a good ending I’d probably give it 3-4 stars but this was just incredibly disappointing. So one star for the fun puzzles and mysterious story, but that’s it. It had so much potential.
This game is so much fun and you actually have to think about it unlike other games. And you don’t get stuck on one part of it you can get clues to help you figure it out.🙃😇🥳😍
i really enjoyed playing this game. some of the little puzzles were difficult and the graphics were super cool. i just wish it was longer. i luckily only paid $2.99 to unlock the other two chapters as well as no ads and unlimited hints but still a bit annoyed that i finished the game in a couple of hours. i wouldn’t have minded the fee if the game was a couple chapters longer, otherwise this game was amazing.
Another fun game but too short! Finished the free levels in 10 minutes! I’m not allowed to purchase more levels but I did download two of the advertisement games!!
Pleasant little puzzle/adventure game, but far too short and much too easy. Decent for kids or those new to the genre, I guess, but considering the depth and challenge of their other games I honestly expected alot more from Snapbreak.
Until it ended. It was so short! It has such an interesting story line, beautiful graphics, relaxing music and play. And all of a sudden, the game is over. There was much more room to build out the story line but it doesn’t. Please add more!
Fun for a little bit but ultimate it is a disappointment
It’s a point and click game that relies on tired tropes like hiding necessary objects in illogical places. It’s barely a step above a hidden object game. Not to mention, it is riddled with adds. Something like this should cost two bucks and keep the experience add free. Ads are immersion breaking.
This is a cute game which I’m pretty sure was made for kids. The puzzles are relatively easy and the topic is from a young adolescent point of view. Nice, colorful graphics with basic navigation. As an adult, I found the game simple and boring, but it would be great for somebody younger.
I anticipated the ads and the push to buy their clues, but what I didn’t anticipate is after 3 levels, you have to pay for the next level. $1.99. It doesn’t say if it is for level 4 only, but will I have to pay each level for get through? I go through the first 3 l cels in about 30 minutes.
The animation makes me a little bit nauseous. I like overall concept though. The answers to puzzles are straightforward, but it’s a good way to introduce a beginner to this type of game.
Good game, but I will not ever pay for a simple short game, it’s not challenging or anything so why should you have to spend money to keep playing. Sad because game had potential if the creators weren’t so greedy. The first 3 chapters are free but they’re making a killing already with all the ads that pop up. Way to ruin a 1/2 decent game guys.🖕🏻
The game itself was pretty good, I liked the graphics and the puzzles were okay, but it was really easy. I beat the entire free section (half the game) in about 15 minutes. If you think I'm gonna pay $3 for 15 more minutes of simple puzzles, you're sorely mistaken.
I played through the Free chapters within 30min or less. Sure it’s entertaining enough but the chapters are way too short. If was free give 5 star or if it was 10x longer I’d even pay for the rest.
Loving this game so far. It gives my head an escape without trying to figure out that I need to fly a strawberry into Jupiter’s bellybutton to get the singing fish from the worm on the moon. Relaxing. Satisfying.
I brought this game because I liked the first chapters. But beware it has a glitch. It allowed me to play up to the zen garden them stoped responding. I uninstalled and reinstalled, had to play through again and again it stoped responding. Would like my money back.
