The app decent, not feature rich but it does the the job well. I realize MoonPay has to make money but the fees are bit too much. But what I really hated was the fill price (how much crypto you get for your $) I honestly think if they can get the fill price more inline with the market and reduce the fees a little I would use it more.
I deposited a couple dollars and I wanted to get it sent back to my card the minimum you can withdraw is 67 so they want you to spend at least $100 on app that no one uses. I called many support numbers for help one of them laughed because I said I was tryna take $20 off the account smh they kept saying someone was gonna call me for help and no one ever called me I’m not depositing anymore money just to withdraw that’s stupid.. it’s just sad. I talked to 5 people and they all said they exact same thing and I still haven’t received help. I don’t think anyone should use this because imagine having to have $68 + dollars for a crypto app to withdraw your money. 0/10 this app is useless and it’s like they are forcing me to keep money on here that I don’t want on there.. Many other apps for crypto don’t pick this one.
I tried buying some Ethereum and it was declined by my bank. I talked to my bank and they did an override for me, which would allow me to buy it. When I went back into the app, I proceeded to do the transaction again. This time it was declined on MoonPay’s end and according to the rep I talked to, it was for safety reasons. I was also informed that I would no longer be able to use this payment method to purchase anything from MoonPay in the future and to use something different. I can’t open a new credit card each time their system decides to block a card from being used for “safety reasons”. Experience has been awful needless to say. I would find a different app to use if you wanted to buy funds.
it’s not a good app because every time you go here to buy bitcoin and if you don’t do something they want they disable your account. They’ve done this to me on numerous occasions so now I can’t even buy bitcoin and the cop the bitcoin company I’m using exodus uses you guys to do the payments and I can’t even buy anything with them because you guys have disabled my account on numerous occasions and you can’t get a hold of you guys for nothing. It’s a joke don’t come to this app don’t use a moonpay at all. Find some other way of doing it. It’s a horrible app they disable you for no reason are used to buy with them all the time don’t use them they’re expensive they’re not worth it
Overall this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with an app from the very beginning when trying to verify my account it was falsely disabled because I pressed one wrong key when putting in my SSN and there was not even an option to go back and because of this my account was disabled indefinitely later when trying to get my account reactivated I was met by unhelpful response from customer service saying there was nothing that could be done. While sending me the terms and regulations and while looking through them I have yet to find out what my account has been disabled for when I have not crossed any guidelines.
There are countless payment apps out there but this one is all you need for ease of use. Plus MoonPay seems to have way more cryptocurrency offerings than others I’ve tried, which is crucial if you’re looking to diversify your portfolio. The app is also just a joy to use. 10/10 would recommend 💪
This was my first purchase of bitcoin using MoonPay, I made my purchase at 9:30 AM, and it too 9 hours before it was posted, to my wallet. I don’t understand why it took so long to post, I was working on a time schedule for a payment which was canceled and had to wait until I could make my payment , not sure if I am going to use MoonPay again, if every purchase is going to take this long.
It is unbelievable how this people decline purchases from different cards and banks and they blame it on the bank once you fix the problem with the bank they still don’t accept you and they won’t give you a reason why and they will take forever to answer the customer support chat! this is the first time I have to deal with something like this aldo you ask them to process the payment for you and they won’t do it I ended up deleting my account cause something ain’t right there!
I downloaded this app just to write a review and warn you about these thiefs. I’ve only dealt with moonpay through my Safepal wallet because I thought it was “safe” no pun intended. Turns out there was some kind of technical error, pretty much Safepal has the wrong contract address to bridge the transaction USDC (e) when Moonpay only accepts USDC. In layman’s terms they weren’t connecting. So I decided to deal with MOONPAY directly, sent 300 USDC to the wallet address, per the instructions in the email from: MOONPAY. Ask me if I ever got a hold of customer service, or my currency ……………………………………………………………
This is the best app I have known but they just need to adjust in the charges a little bit it a good app anyone can understand and know how to use and it fast it doesn’t takes more than 10min to receive your coin I feel happy while using this app to get coin

I didn’t get a penny you took one.3 point whatever else it was behind there and then you took seven and then took another 1.3 and you stole it you stole my money, you had the balls to cancel or terminate the transaction. Update: To MoonPaySupport, I have contacted you in the past (two years ago? I forget) about this issue. You claimed that you have no way of deleting my number from my old email address if I can’t access the email. Basically, I’m S.O.L. This is bad for your business. IDK why you have it setup that way. Why can’t we just resubmit an ID? Original review: I contacted support over a year ago and the problem still persists. My phone number is linked to an old account. An email that I no longer have access to. It will not let me proceed to create a new account, even though my main credentials pass. It’s ridiculous that they can’t wipe the old account. This is the reason why you get one star.
I am a lil impressed and appreciative of this app..aside from the learning curve..it was pretty easy to update my card and do a transaction. not as annoying ans stressful as others. the bot already told me why things didnt go through initially.. nice
Moonpay has gotten better and easier. You can just purchase bitcoin for an external wallet without buying it straight into your own bitcoin wallet. I love it 💯
I have been waiting in the chat for 48 hours now. “Our agents are busier than usual we will connect you soon”…. 2 days later I haven’t gotten so much as a confirmation that my requests for help were received. I messaged on Twitter only to be told they were forwarding my complaint to the “relevant department”. I have gotten no other response. They have $200 of mine. I have no coins and nobody cares. Stay far away.

I downloaded the app after struggling with the site on my phone, every time I attempted a transaction (put in amount, currency I wanted to buy) it moved to another page with “add payment method” with a back arrow. The app opens the mobile website and has the same problem 🙃🤦🏻♀️ I can’t tell at all what I’m doing wrong🤷🏻♀️
It has been very difficult to find someone to assist you if you have questions. They send you instructions even though you have explained to them that you are unable to complete it the instructions

Let’s say you’re sending money to another wallet. I can’t find any way to see if it reached there or if it’s still processing or they just flat out stole my money no idea I sent it to an online retailer that uses bitcoin trying to reach customer support is impossible. It just seems like it’s all automated and will just put you in circles.
This app do not work every time I go to buy crypto it asked to put in a phone number I put in my phone number and it tells me the phone number is already used. I cannot see how this company stay in business. Unbelievable I give it a -3 stars. And that’s being too nice.
Not user friendly, continuously took too long to verify and when I tried to redo it, it took my information and said I couldn’t try again because an account already has that information. No way to prove that information was mine to begin with.

If you want your money stolen I would definitely use this god awful app. Thousands of crypto wallets and id rank this one at the very bottom. Stole $360 from me, when I contact support they said I “violated” their terms and they deleted my account and took my money with them.
I’m accusing this app of stealing my money , because , I had $600+ .I was unable to withdraw it , or sell , only option was to buy more . I left it alone after I didn’t even open the app after a week , I check back & I had $130….

After using for awhile they will suspend your account for no reason without telling you. When you try to contact there support you literally can’t. Would not recommend this app to anyone.
The inability for their support to actually read your message and respond is shocking. I just keep getting generic auto replies that have nothing to do with the issue. Going on a full week and 8 messages this way.

Shady app run by a shady company with non existent customer service. Apps like these ruin crypto for everyone. They lock up your funds in custody and make the withdrawal process intentionally cumbersome. DO NOT trust them with your money or crypto. Use coinbase with metamask.
