MPG Manhattan Parking

The guys there are amazing especially the manager. I call him Brian but that’s not his name it’s similar to that lol. I’ve been parking there for a little over 2 years and these guys have helped me out a few times I ran into a problem. I miss Nelson, nice guy. These guys always make me laugh. They’ll even make room for my car when the lot is full. I do have to say the other reviewer is right. If you book a spot prior to getting there and the lot is full that’s kind of your problem. You already paid but that doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed a spot. There no one to really contact when that happened. The lot can’t help you get your money back because it’s through the app. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card the 2 or 3 times that happened. They do need a better system. If you pay through the app a spot should be reserved for you. Any other way doesn’t make sense and it makes things difficult for everyone involved. Also extremely narrow path when driving in. I banged my car up a few times. Need to be extremely careful pulling in and out. Even the turn pulling out if there is narrow.

Reservation double booked , there is no cancellation feature, so if you book a reservation and you have an emergency and need to cancel you can’t and they will charge you. I booked my reservation and it was there twice for 2 different amounts, could not cancel , so when I went to get my car I was charged for the one I scanned . The next day I was billed twice for one session , been trying to reach them via email , and phone no response, no manager on the site either. Desperately trying to get my $22 back. I’m not the only one with overcharged issues using the app a lot of my coworkers having the same issue that they opted to park elsewhere

I booked for 2 days on the app, when I arrived at the parking lot on 93rd and 1st Ave, I was told the parking was full without any other information, like saying find a parking spot elsewhere it's not our problem that you already paid... I sent couple of emails to mpg, no one answered. What's the point of having an application if you can't update available space, this is smart as a bag of hammers...

MPG is terrible. They allow you to book, take your money, then when you get to the parking lot, god forbid they are full OR they don’t allow overnight parking (but they still allow you to book on the app), you’re screwed. I’m hoping I can get my money back. Otherwise I will dispute the charges on my credit card. Please please heed this warning! (I would give them negative stars if I could)

Don’t let the pricing fool you. You’ll book a spot, thinking you’re all set only to arrive at the lot and get turned away because the lot is full. Then you’ll spend weeks trying to get your money back. Avoid at all costs.

I would use this more often but service is nonexistent. Garage full? Too bad. Charged twice because you had to extend your stay? Good luck. Not worth the minimal savings over other apps.

They claimed my vehicle was oversized but of course only told me afterwards. It’s not on their list of oversized cars but there was no arguing w an attendant who speak ZERO English. Wouldn’t give me my keys until I paid the extra money.

Thieves don’t go there Pay $30 over the app then when they pick up the car Charge me $15 more cause my car SUV So don’t believe the prices they charge you double

I use the app frequently. Great prices and nice employees.

They give you a price and then change it after you've paid.

From CT.. before goto ny I reserved parking.. When I arrived there, person at the garage doesn’t speak English.. only Spanish.. dont know what to do with q code.. after 10 minutes struggle, he asked extra $20 I told him, spot already paid which was $15. Refuse to give money.. he the told me rudly GO.. i think it is the only words he knows dollor and go..I told him my refund $15.. he was jeep saying pay $20 or go.. I tried to contact mpg customer service.. no answer yet.. who knows, maybe they dont know English either.. So its a big scam.. stay away!!!!!
