Very Happy
I was using a portable ac in my 12x20 building before and is was a nightmare, constantly missing with temperature fluctuations and noise! I trashed the Mr Cool DIY systems for almost a year before I bought one. It came in and I installed it in about 4-hrs, very straightforward and very easy. When I first powered it on to ac and went inside to check it I thought oh crap what did I do wrong it’s not working, but it was working fine, it is so quite I thought it was off, both the inside unit and the outside unit are extremely quiet, now it’s winter at 29 degrees and my room it tuning at 77 like a champ, I cannot express how satisfied I am with this product! Have recommended it to several other for there use Thanks Jerry

It works, but needs a major overhaul
Does the app work with the unit? Yes, it does work. However, setting up the unit is a bit odd. You have to plug a USB dongle into the mini split. This looks like they made Internet connectivity an afterthought. Next, connecting the unit is not quite as simple as what they make it out to be. Then there’s also the confusion between the remote control that comes with the unit, the wall temperature gage, and the main mini split. Each of the three give you a different temperature reading even though they’re in the same room at the same height level. Lastly, the app is greatly lacking compared to competitors. If you look at something like a nest, the unit is well-made, and so is the app. It works near flawlessly, and is intelligent to understand your habits and needs. Setting up a Nest is very simple, managing it remotely is just as easy. The app is well designed. Mr. Cole needs to purchase a nest begin to use it, and then implement similar changes. Most notably, they need to have an easier automated schedule. They also need to find a way to have the unit turn off when it reaches the temperature requested by the user. Instead, the unit remains on chewing up valuable electricity. I can’t say that I’m disappointed with my mini split because it does work. However when you compare it to other units on the market they have blown Mr. cool out of the water. They definitely need to catch up especially with their hardware and software capabilities.

Humidity not reporting in app
I have tried this app on my DIY-18-HP-230 3rd gen unit with both the MrCool mini-stat that came with the mini-split and I bought the WiFi version - Smart HVAC Ductless Mini-Stat separately and those units show temp and humidity on them. They do not transfer the humidity to the app OR they do and the app won't show it. I have gone through all the settings and I can't make it work. The app screenshots show humidity, the mini-stay documentation shows humidity working in the app - how do I see the data? I need to monitor the humidity of a remote building. UPDATE: They responded and asked me to submit a support case. I don't appreciate how places like to use this strategy because it can easily make their customers seem unreasonable. However, I wrote this review AFTER I sent in a support case directly from their website and never heard back (I've checked my spam folder). It would be nice if they could just respond here. I've tried all the typical stuff like uninstall and clean reinstall, etc. but my feeling is this feature doesn't exist. If not, just say so. If I was supposed to buy another piece of equipment just say so. I can't be the first person that experienced this basic problem.

Terrible !!!! Unreliable!!!!
I really would love to like this app. I really would. It’s just completely unreliable and glitchy. I turn the units on or off and next thing I know it’s really hot in here. I get up and walk into each room and sure enough they are still on. App says they are off. I timed them off with the app but it hardly ever works. Funny thing is when I ask Google Assistant to do it, it does it. It hasn’t failed me not even once. So they have the technology down. But the app developers who created this sure don’t. It’s really frustrating and it’s my fault when it happens because I should know better by now than to use it. And as far as setting a temperature. Forget it! I calibrate the temp on the app to the actual temp in the room, say I adjust it down because it says it’s 80 and it’s only 65 (ya it’s that far off!) next thing I know now it’s too low. It’ll say it’s 60 and it’s really 70. So you can play the calibration game all day and go up and down and it still won’t work right. So what does this app actually do that is useful ? Ummmm….the timer and the schedule seems to work. And I think that’s all I can rely on it for. The power on and off function is just a mess! Maybe they’ll fix it? Not likely since it’s been nearly two years. Mr Cool isn’t really that cool after all.

Seems to work better now
Update 8/2/19- I noticed the app updated a couple of weeks ago so I gave it another try. It looks like the app now sees changes made on the remote control after a little while. This should make the app far more useful, I'll update again after I try out some of the other functions within the app. My original 3 star review is below. I am using this with the Mr Cool DIY Enhanced heat pump. It works alright, it doesn't seem to have bidirectional communication with the heat pump though. You can use the app to send commands to the heat pump, but if you use the physical remote for the heat pump the app is unaware of those changes. For example, if I turn on the heat pump with the remote then decide i would like to change the temperature using this app the app doesn't know that the heat pump is already running. Or if I turn on the heat pump with the app then later adjust the set temperature with the physical remote control the app will not show that the set temp changed. I am not sure how much of this is the fault of the app itself, this may have more to do with the way Mr Cool implemented wireless on the unit.

Great app with some space for improvement
I use the app all the time as I use this mini split unit to control temp in an insulated garage room. It works very well and the fact that it does heating and cooling as an option fits my needs very well to keep this garage around 73f up or down. That being said I use comfy settings or automatic trigger settings profiles and I wish the notifications that come to your phone to tell you one of these profiles has triggered. Weather the unit is turning on or turning off the notification on your phone is not telling you what the unit is doing. It would be useful if it said something like “Unit name has started cooling to 72f” “unitname turned off as the ambient temp 72 f has been reached.” It would also be super useful to be able to build your own custom comfy profiles so that during the day or the month you could have it respond to high temps during the day but at night also switch to heat if needed and not have to manually switch it to another profile in the app.

Only one phone/user allowed.
This is a fairly new app so I tried giving it some time for updates. Functionality is getting much better, and linking to Alexa is now almost seamless. My major complaint (which has not been addressed yet) is that you cannot have more than one user controlling our mr. cool diy mini-split AC via this app. My wife and I have opposing schedules, and would like to control the unit individually from our own phones. She syncs up the unit with her smarthvac app on her phone, which promptly removes the unit from my smarthvac app on my phone. When I try to add the unit back to my app, it asks for a full reset (forcing a direct WiFi pairing to the unit, etc), and immediately resets and removes the unit from my wife’s app. This should be easy to change from the developers’ end: If the unit is already paired and recognized within my WiFi network, I should be able to just select it under the “new devices” tab. Maybe even add a pin that makes it more secure, so guests can’t hijack our AC unit. Just prompt the original set-up with a “create 4 digit pin for device” option. I will update my review to a more deserving rating once my wife and I can each control the same unit from different phones.

Not happy…
I don’t know what happened to this app. But it was working fine. Then all of the sudden, after a recent update a couple of weeks ago, schedule mode quit working properly for me. For instance, why did it just quit kicking on for my night schedule tonight? I’ve been sitting here in the middle of the night resetting the schedule time every couple of minutes to see if it’ll kick in on “night comfy mode” and it simply will not do it. So I had to turn it on manually from the app. I am not happy as there have been other similar recent experiences I’ve had with the scheduling mode. I even just checked the night comfy mode to make sure it is still set correctly to our preferences, and it is. So I have no idea why it isn’t working right… I finally got it to kick in, but it took like 20 minutes of resetting the schedule, refreshing the app and closing and restarting the app before it registered the correct night comfy temperature. It shouldn’t take that many attempts. Up until this recent update, I wasn’t having these types of problems…

Needs work.
Seems like I lose history with every update, not 100% sure; but positive I lost the history with the latest 2.0.5 update. History also shows that it runs 24/7 when it does not. The only time it shows it not running is when it is powered off. Also, when the settings are changed manually from the remote, the new setting should be reflected\shown when you open the app but they are not. The settings in the app are they way they were before you changed them with the remote, that is ridiculous. I had no issues setting up the WiFi and no issues using the app. When I make changes to the temp, the swing position, or fan speed, it always works. Would like to have the ability to share the account with multiple people in the household. This the difference between 2 and 4 stars. I understand they may not be a huge company, but this is a big point for me after all the other issues.

Junk- these guys need to real world test this
I have this for my Mr. Cool AC. First problem: App never updates the temperature in room on the app unless you adjust a setting for the unit. For example, If I open the app and select my AC unit, it will show 75 in the little house icon (so I assume it is hot in the room) but as soon as I change the temp by one degree it updates and shows 68 in the room... Second issue, there is an problem with how this app looks at the data coming off the machine when it is turned on and off via the schedule feature. Example: If I set the temp for the AC at 70 and set it to turn on at 7:00 am the unit will come on and just run non stop until the room is freezing (sub 60). Its almost as if the app never looks at the thermostat temperature data on the machine again and it just runs. It’s either an app issue or a Mr. Cool issue. I thought it was just a flaw but it is doing it on two different Mr. Cool units. Mr Cool says it’s the App developer. These programmers must not test their software against a real unit...solid work guys. 👎🏻👎🏻

password functionality is bad
I created an account using an auto created password from my iPhone. I took a screen grab of the password that I entered into the SmartHVAC app. The screen grab included both the first entry of the password and the second entry of the password before selecting create account. I copied the screen grabbed password and used it on Alexa to connect my device to the Alexa. It said the password is no good. I went back to the Smart HVAC app to my account settings to check the password and it asked me to type the password in twice and then select a new password. The password that I screen grabbed directly from the smart HVAC app is not working. Therefore I'm going to have to delete the device. Delete the account. Create a new account and hope that this time it works. That is not good programming. after spending time installing the unit and turning it on and enjoying a little A/C, I thought connecting the app to Alexa would be a breeze. Not.

Some energy savings possible now
I can now control my mrcool ac using this app from my office which is cool. Seems there is some energy saving too by using schedules though exact amount is hard to calculate. My recommendation to mrcool is to provide some temperature based triggers for ACs to save more energy. For example, there can be an option to power on ac on a certain temperature in the room and vice versa. Although alexa is working fine but alexa routines need some more work to be done. I had a chat with the app developer and they have informed me about alexa routines being released in few weeks time which will be good addition. Overall a great product and nice addition to the air conditioner. Well done!

I expected better
MrCool app is a bit of a disaster. If I listed everything that was wrong with it, I'd be typing for a while. For now I’d list just two of my primary complaints: 1. The data the app shows is almost never correct. For example the temperature readings are almost always off. Way off. If I try to calibrate the unit, the app then sometimes is able to pull the current temperature and update its data. But, it is able to do that about half the time only. 2. On my iPhone this app is the biggest battery hog. It consumes a lot of battery with background data. I have other apps that use background data. Email apps, other thermostat apps. Some of them fetch a lot more data, a lot more accurately than this app does. And they do it while consuming a lot less resources. It almost sounds like this app is constantly polling for data updates rather than subscribing for updates. This is how junior software developers in first year of college do these things. I am sorry but it sounds like the development of this app got outsourced to the most incompetent mobile app team on the planet. I saw some reviews of this app from other users complaining about the same things form 4 years ago. If you can’t fix critical problems in 4 years, it is time to do some soul searching.

Just add LED controls already!
I would really like it if I could just use the app and not have to go back and forth between remote control and app, but, as it is, vital features are not even on the app and then others are not on the remote. I cannot imagine why they would not have LED display controls, silence controls, and self clean controls on the app and then not have comfy controls and schedules on the remote. Then to make it worse if you use the app and then the remote they don’t communicate the new settings with the other device so you have no idea which commands the unit is listening too. It wouldn’t be so bad if you could permanently turn off led and sound, but every time you do any changes to the AC settings the led is back on again. This flaw makes this a very poor bedroom AC alternative.

Excellent customer service from Ian for the phone app
Today I called the customer support for the Mr. cool iPhone app. And Ian helped me walk through and set up heat and cool comfort modes and schedules to activate the comfort temperature modes. Ian was very attentive, listened very well, and was very clear and his step-by-step instructions. Maybe I could’ve figured it all out myself with a lot of trial and error. But, Ian made it easy to set up a complete summer schedule for me using the comfort modes to automatically turn on and turn off the heating or cooling depending on the room temperature.

Mr Cool DIY
Awesome Awesome Awesome unit! There very minor and minimal things that was a bit challenging in the directions for running the pipes. I had to run through multiple walls so I had to make sure there was enough slope in the drain lines and the manual only covers after installation of blower wall unit to run lines downward. In my case I have a split level house this unit was installed in and there was no way to install this type of unit in positions the lines how the manual described, but you MUST have some ingenuity and be a bit mechanically inclined if your not able to be able to install this type of unit exactly where you want it by the book. Definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone!

Frustrating to Use
In general, the app works as designed, however there are some key flaws that make it less than useful from a practical perspective. I’m using the app with a 36k heat/cool system, three interior units. It is convenient to control all three units from the app from anywhere. The biggest frustration is that the app gets its temp data from each wall unit. This isn’t practical in that it requires a calibration of temp differential between what the unit measures and what the room, maybe 20 feet away is actually experiencing. Doing the calibration is easy enough, but I’ve found the units lose calibration frequently. Calibration is lost anytime a unit is powered down or if the app goes to sleep and restarts. In my house, during heating season, the wall unit’s temp is typically 8 degrees or more hotter than the rooms actual temp. Eight degrees is also the maximum differential, plus or minus, the app will allow. I installed the units to make it easier to monitor and control temps when I travel. The current apps control system makes it difficult to trust what I’m seeing without standing in the room,

Would be great if it worked
I was able to set up this app to control my Mr Cool AC unit and was able to use it for a few days to program my unit to shut off every night and to turn it on when I’m out and on my way home. However, the unit will not stay connected to my home network, and the schedule doesn’t work while the device is offline, nor does the app give any kind of alert, so the only way I realize that the device is offline is when I wake up to a cold living room. There’s no obvious way to get the unit back online—the first time it dropped the network, I cycled the ac unit’s power at the breaker box and it automatically reconnected, but it hasn’t reconnected since then. Aside from this fundamental product failure I also can’t figure out how to set up multiple user accounts so that everyone in the house can control the unit from their own phones.

Customer support is top notch!
I installed 5 units in my home and had difficulty with 2 that wouldn’t connect with the app. I emailed their support and was called that day in the evening when I told them I’d be available to talk. The agent walked me through re-broadcasting the WiFi signal from the wireless stick while in the AC unit (press LED button on the remote 7 times) so that I could retry connecting the system to the app. And it worked on both devices. Wonderful support. And the app has worked very well so far. It’s extremely handy to adjust my kids’ rooms when they are sleeping.

Great App better customer service!
I have been using the app perfectly with our mini split but wanted to set an automatic temperature range. The website advertises “Comfy mode” with instructions but I couldn’t find it in the app. I left one simple email to support and got a phone call within 24 hours to walk me through a push update of the software, and bingo! Now this whole system is ideal for my office with no fear of freezing or overheating after hours. Nice!

Getting better!
My review 1 year ago would have been scathing - the control logic was severely lacking. But things have improved a lot since then. The layering of timers and set point ranges is fantastic for optimizing comfort in balance with energy savings. This is something that competitor offerings like Ambi Climate do not even come close to matching. The only thing that’s missing is the ability to integrate a remote temp sensor. If that was in place, this would be a home run. Bonus if this was open ADR compatible for Demand Response. Automated ‘off’ during peak demand, and ‘on’ again after would be nice.

Number 4.5 stars Wish list for more data from Mr Cool
I almost gave five stars but actually it’s 4 1/2 stars. There’s always room for improvement and it would be nice if I could have more operational data. it would be nice to know at what level is the unit operating at and also a historic graph of operating Energy usage. Other data such as refrigerant temperatures outside air temperature. OK I’m an engineer and I just have to know how everything is precisely operating. Obviously most people may not want this data but if there was an option to obtain it, that would be beautiful.

Bad programming
I can’t even remember how many times I’ve come into my shop and it was freezing cold, because the unit didn’t turn on even though the schedule was set. I have the schedule set to turn the unit off at 10 PM every night to save electricity. I’ve come in many times in the morning and found the unit still running. Today I had the issue where the shop was freezing because the unit didn’t turn on, but this time when I went into the app, all of my schedules had disappeared, and it asked me to add new ones. I guess this doesn’t have anything to do with the programmers in the app, but just so you know this units fan runs constantly even if the temperature has been reached. Uses a lot of electricity.

Works intermittently
The app does work. However, not reliably. All of my issues revolve around schedules. I have found that I must hard reboot about every 2 weeks to reenable scheduling that just stops. The issue is not intermittent WiFi because the schedule does not resume at any point. Behavior is stuck at the last setting before schedules stopped working. As mentioned a hard reset fixes the issue for about 2 weeks. Since I don’t know when this will happen I cannot leave anything really temperature sensitive in the space because the unit may not come on as expected.

App lost correct model and turbo ability
Recently my app took away the option for turbo and says it isn’t supported on my model, but the turbo worked just fine before that. I have the 24k unit and it’s about a month old. The WiFi has always been a bit flaky and “auto” seems to only really be for cool or heat. It won’t automatically go from cooling in the day to heating at night due to temp changes outside. I have to manually turn off and back on again. I feel like all of my issues have only been software related as the unit itself seems to work great.

Not bad but still missing something
The new design is definitely more up to date but I’m surprised that the app itself is actually still missing background app refresh. The current temperature in my room that it reads on the app doesn’t update regularly. In fact it only updates if I change what I have the temperature set to. I have checked in my settings and there is no section under background refresh for this app. Also why can’t you all add HomeKit integration to these units either? You have Alexa and google already integrated and HomeKit is now software based coding and no longer hardware.

Outdoor temp set points needed
I am primarily using my MRCOOL units as heat pumps to defer the cost of use of natural gas in my area. I would like for the app to set a “run cutoff” once the outside temperature reaches a certain set point, so that I can operate the heat pump when it is most efficient. For example, I would like the unit to run from 9 am to 4 pm to make the interior room temp 74 degrees, but do this only if the outside temperature is above 35 degrees. Currently I am having to check the temperature the night before and modify the run schedule each day. It is getting really old and would like to request this enhancement.

Very very dissatisfied would not buy again
The app has worked 1 time for me. It has since disconnected and it’s literally impossible to get it to reconnect now. It’s like the unit cannot see my phone even when I’ve done everything correct and have my cellular data off and am connected to the units broadcasted signal. I do not recommend this app or cooling/heating unit. The customer service is about as good as the unit/app!!!! I called and waited on the line until I was #1 in the queue. I was then told to leave my name and number. Ridiculous! I should have to fight a 3 thousand dollar unit and then not receive a LICK of customer service. If I didn’t need it so bad I would just scrap the unit.

Mr. Cool Experience
I purchased this Mr. Cool unit after researching several other brands and I am really satisfied with my choice. The feature of operating my unit via phone from any location whether that being at work or home is awesome. This unit runs quite and I rarely have to drop the temperature below 73 degrees being that it cools off my 500sq ft rather quickly. You will not be disappointed in this purchase.

Needs work - missing important features
The app lacks the features that the remote has and seems inaccurate. I have had the system since July. I use it in a garage shop area and want minimal client control. In the summer I set it to “dry”. There is no setting in the app for a target humidity; it is just “dry” whatever that means. I set a humidity target on the remote and the unit beeped, but the result was over cooling - it ran nearly all the time. I am now in heat mode. The minimum temperature you can set for heat is 62 degrees. I use this in a garage and want it to be able to be set down to more like 50 degrees. Also, I have set it to 62 degrees, but the app thermostat shows 67 degrees, and my thermometer in the room shows 70. I don’t understand why the unit seems to run too much in both directions- hot and cold. I’m hoping this is improved in the future.

If It Would Connect
No matter how many times I tried using every direction (not to mention the book and screen don’t match) and possible combinations, turning everything on and off putting it in AP mode, etc., I can not get it to go online. Keeps giving me offline messages. Also, gives another error that you can’t click on to update it to whatever cloud it is supposed to sync with. I’ve made sure everything is on in settings. It’s a horrible app. Really wish it worked. We were looking forward to being able to control the unit since it’s in a vacation home.

I thought this thing was junk like the original controller that came with the unit. I was able to get in contact with tech support and they walked me through the setup process. I had to restart my phone and start the set up over. Happy to say it is working great. 1). MRCOOL split mini HVAC is a great unit. The WiFi option was not so great. 2). Unit WiFi issues
Have had a difficult time keeping the unit connected to my WiFi network. I have tried the 2g band & Auto settings. Not thinking this unit needs 5g connectivity. I have a WiFi extender in the same room with other devices having no issues with connection. There are no mirrors in the area to interfere with the connection just seems to be very unstable connection to WiFi. The app has limited controls vs the actual remote control. The advantage is that you can schedule set through the app.

Most basic of functions
Terrible app to a/c connectivity. I should NOT have to shut down the app, change the temp, change the mode or ANYTHING to be able to get a current temperature. Terrible at actually tracking the temp. It will say 82 then when I go to adjust temp... it goes to my seething and still hasn’t updated the temp reading and after having to toggle temps and button FINALLY decides to update temperature where it actually is even frikking close the the temperature it was just displaying. GET THIS FIXED. Workk hard at solving the simple damned problem so we can have real control in REAL time

Developers read this
I love the app, and the ability to set schedules, however it’s frustrating that the turbo function has to be manually turned on each time. It would be nice if you could set the turbo function to come on automatically with a schedule. For a daily schedule this requires me to open the app and turn the turbo mode on each day and I don’t always remember to right away.

Buggy but offers basic functions
The app lets me set the schedule, control temperature and turn on and off. The swing position setting options don’t work. Regardless of which one I select it still does auto swing, so I’m resorted to using the manual remote to set it in the preferred highest position. It also seems there are too many menus or buttons to select just to adjust settings. I’d prefer if there was one setting button and all of them were listed on one page, and can scroll up and down as needed.

Could have been great
This app had the chance to be great and then entirely missed the boat. Most importantly, the temp setting is totally wrong. It will show 76 when a room is 63. It will be set to 70, show a temp of 74 and still be putting out heat. It never stops at the right temp. I’ve tried all the calibrations but it doesn’t help. Second, even if you turn off the air handler from the app, it will still keep going. Lastly, support is nearly non existent. The best you can hope for is a one liner email reply 6-8 weeks after you submit your question. Total flop - this version and the last.

Very convenient
The app has some great features and accessibility to use your phone anywhere you have a data connection. You can set a schedule, zoning and specified comfortable temps. However, I wonder if there is a way to monitor energy usage? Lastly you cannot place the unit in “silent mode” from the app. In “silent mode” the fan runs very slowly and the compressor runs more efficiently. Overall I give it 4 stars.

Nice app
New to MRCOOL and this app. Love the mini split and found this app helpful. Just a suggestion on enhancements... I noticed the room temperature doesn’t always report the current condition unless you do something like change the fan speed at which point the actual current temp will appear. Second, it would be great to show if the device is currently running or off and maybe the total run time vs the current “on” time. Thanks for a great app.

Louver position feature is simply busted
I need to set louver position because of install location. The app has 3 positions, labeled helpfully as “pos1 pos2 pos3”- why not high / mid / low? Maybe they were meant to be programmable and then mr cool abandoned the feature. It’s a mystery. Many complaints online that the feature is simply broken. They reset locations at random and only seem to be useful for stopping the louvers from going up and down, so you have to watch the thing and press the button at the right time. The end result is I can’t use mr cool remotely because I need a certain louver position. So stupid. Other problems: Turning it off doesn’t allow for a cooldown and drying first. Comfy mode is a mess as you can’t schedule it. Has some bugs that require force restart occasionally. Good piece of equipment, shame the app is garbage.

Mrcool 4 head Mini split unit
Bought this unit for my airbnb. The unit is very easy to installed, took my electrician one day to installed. We used it and both heat and cool with no issue, Mrcool app is a plus we get to control the unit from anywhere. I’m so happy we purchase it the time we did, because it was sold out within days on home depot .

App doesn’t update room temperature well
Just got my Mr. Cool Advantage and have been using the app for the last few days. The only main complaint I have is that the current room temperature is not updated in the app without changing a setting first. If the developer could implement a refresh button, or have the app auto-refresh when it is pulled up, it would be easier to see the set temp and current temp at a glance without having to change something first.

Review of MRCOOL App and equipment
This App is extremely helpful in managing my cool and Heat time and use! These mini splits are so good and efficient! My garage stays extremely comfortable year-round! It can be 23 degrees and it stays cozy and comfortable! It’s been 95 out lately and keeping the MRCOOL DIY Mini-Splits temperature control at 74 makes my garage totally comfortable! This equipment lives up to its slogan - COMFORT MADE SIMPLE!

Horrible app
App never works correctly. It's thin by a third party company based out of India. They will always blame the hardware even when the hardware is working properly. Fact is this app doesn't work at all. It always reads offline, not controllable, and the tech support will laugh at u if your like they did to me when I told them damages were cause when my pipes froze and burst because the app didn't turn on the heat. You can reset you router, disconnect the power, reinstall the app... it will just never work longer then 24 hours.

No timer off control
I love the unit and the app, but when you schedule a time for the unit to come on, you can’t schedule it to turn off- from what I’ve found, you either get one or the other (on or off) but you don’t get both. If you schedule something to come on you need to be able to schedule it to turn off as well. Would give it five stars if they add this feature.

Terrific interface
After several attempts to sync the app and module and rebooting Wi-Fi and device it finally recognized the unit. Once that was done it looks like a good interface! Now the system has been up and running, flawlessly I have to update my review. The history feature is very handy. Easily see the usage as well as the mode it was operating in. Simple controls makes the App easier to use than the remote. Off site access is a great feature to allow access to the system to turn on or off remotely! Certainly looking forward to future use!

Works great and as expected
The Mr. Cool 9000 BTU unit does a great job cooling my outdoor pool house. I really appreciate the simplicity to the install. However, I only had one issue which was connecting the system to my Wi-Fi. It took a number of times to finally get it to connect. But when it did, it’s been flawless.

I HATE IT HATE HATE I never write dad reviews but this time I have to This is the most frustrating equipment. It keeps getting off line every couple days and they don’t make it easy to reset the whole thing once the settings are in your phone you can’t overwrite it with the remote which means you have to get a ladder climb it and disconnected the stupid stick from the air handler and connect it again I have to do this in 3 different air handlers . Next time I will go with different company that mister cool
