I’ve had no problems for the past 5 yrs with the old app. I set up my face recognition and the app no longer works. Can’t even access my account now. The app opens and verifies my Face ID and it automatically closes the app down. It won’t even show in my recently viewed apps on my Apple. It shuts it completely down. Whoever developed this update obviously didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t test it out before the release. Here I am needing to put money on my account and can’t… looks like they need to suspend the shutoffs until they get this issue resolved, especially the ones operating on pre-paid!
App worked fine for the past 4 years I’ve been using it, and now it just tells me invalid user Id and password, even though it’s saved in my phone, and I can log in with them on the website. Also the constant “new look, same app” pop up that comes up every login attempt and blocks you from typing is really annoying. How did you take something that worked fine, and mess it up just for some new ascetics, and apparently no new features. What are you, the federal government?
This didn't need to be rushed out of beta. New redesigned app brings no value and many defects. Notification badge never clears. "More" menu item goes to an empty menu. Usage graph has terrible layout and navigation (360 days horizontally scrolling for-ev-er). Custom graph is useless. Usage ought to be able to show month by month comparison and overlay with previous year's usage. Colors / contrast / fonts make most of the text unreadable in many places, especially the usage graph.
I am running the latest version however I do not receive push notifications as I have requested in my settings, both in the app and on my phone. I have an IPhone. My husband has a Samsung phone and he receives push notifications..can this be corrected in the app ASAP so that notifications will work with IPhones? This is causing me lots of issues because I don't always have time to check this app and my email everyday. Thanks.
Since the last update, this app is absolutely worthless for anything except paying your bill. Any time that I try to open bill history, the app crashes. Whatever you changed about the app, roll it back.
Since the new update that was just recently pushed I can not check the billing history any more or any tabs but the payment tab and it’s aggravating. I have never had issues with the app u til this update… please fix it!
Previous app worked fine now the updated app will not let you login I had to call the company to pay so that I could continue my power service before it got cut off, what a waste of time, either go back to the previous version or fix the app please,I didn’t have time for all of this today
I’m one of those people that doesn’t like to see notifications on their apps, and this app has a notification that I can’t figure out how to clear it and it drives me crazy. Please let me know how to clear it or if it’s not something I can do please fix it. Thanks.
If this app would actually open it would be great. Unfortunately I get the loading wheel of death for as long as I leave the app open (my record is 10 minutes before giving up). It used to work just fine, and then for the past week it has just given up on life.
Since this app has been updated every time I try to log in with face id it shuts the app down. I have deleted and reinstalled several times. Fix the bugs
After many attempts to open this app I have yet to see anything beyond the initial start screen. Upon opening a “Please wait” pop up message is displayed & 45-60 seconds later a “Communication Error. Please try again” message is displayed in red text. Come on maaaannnn!
I updated app and set it up for Face ID. As soon as it recognizes my face and logs me in the app immediately shuts down! I’ve tried 10+ times and it’s the same result. Old app worked great. This STINKS!!!
Never had any problems until now. My user id and password has been saved since day one. But yet it’s saying invalid...nothing has changed and it’s still saved?!
The old app has worked for years perfectly! Now this new app is junk. I am a developer and the person(s) that developed this app did not follow the golden rule TEST! Face ID check then the app closes. Either fix or put old app back. Only way to access my account is via online. Please fix !
I don’t often review apps unless the app is extremely bad or exceptionally great. In this case, the NGEMC is EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT. I really don’t understand why others have rated it so poorly. I’ve had zero problems with this app from day one. It was the easiest app to set up, but I don’t use the facial recognition either (only idiots use that). I set it up to remember my username and password, I click the login button, look at my bill and click Pay after choosing which payment method to use. The user interface is extremely simple, clean, and easy. I LOVE how UNCLUTTERED the app is! So, so, SO easy! I can’t rave enough about it! NGEMC, don’t you change a THING about this app and don’t listen to those who give negative reviews on it. You have the best, easiest, cleanest app I’ve ever used!
