I love the new interface; it’s so clean and pretty! I am having some trouble setting up “Sneak Peek,” which was formerly called, “Fast Look.” I have been through all of the settings and cannot seem to find it- even used the search feature to no avail. Hoping in the coming days there will be that option again!

Old app worked great, new app is difficult to navigate which isn’t a big deal but the worst part is they got rid of being able to pay loan payments from an external account which was the sole reason I had the app in the first place. So now I have to pay in a branch which normally isn’t a huge deal but I am out of town a lot and there aren’t branches in very many places I go. Finally figured out I can write a check to myself to deposit in my savings and transfer that money to the loans, but that is a lot of steps, plus a wasted check every month. Just need to bring back the option to link a bank account to pay. Not sure who’s bright idea it was to remove that feature…

The new update looks new, but that’s the only good thing about it. It’s far clunkier and harder to navigate, there’s lots of wasted screen space, and LET ALONE the fact that at first, it was bugged out so you literally COULD NOT set your checking acct as the recipient in a transfer. For several days I had to overdraft my checking acct because I couldn’t transfer money to it. They apparently fixed it though, and NOW, I can’t select my credit card in order to pay it off! Stinky smelly combo of bad UI/UX, and far too many bugs. I really hope whatever developer PFCU contracted to do the redesign didn’t charge too much, cause this is the worst banking experience I have ever had.

Unlike every other bank, they don’t say “heads up, we’re doing maintenance during these times on this day”. You just have to try and log in and realize it’s down again. I’m assuming it’s maintenance, but it could just be down. I’ve complained to them about this issue since 2017 and it’s never been fully addressed. I’ve got “I’m sorry you feel like our system is always down, but we have virtual tellers” but not on Sundays?? Which is usually when it’s down. It’s super annoying to try and check your bank account and find out the app won’t ever load or just says unavailable.

I have access to any and all information I could possibly need directly from the app. Anything not covered in the app is taken care of with a phone call directly from the app to a live person who takes care of my needs quickly and efficiently.

We don’t bank with Pioneer but our car loans are through them and the old version of the app was great, super simple to have our banking information attached for easy on time payments. The new version of the app, although appealing to the eye, is super frustrating. They’ve taken a 1 step process for payment and made it complicated to where it’s easier to stop by or call in for payment. Wish they would bring back the old version.

The web site is great. It’s east to navigate to pay bills and transfer funds. The only negative thing I can say is the notifications when your cards gets used can take more than a day to receive. With the previous Card Companion app notifications we’re instant. Chile

It took a little getting used to (as does anything new) but I'm able to complete just about all my banking needs within the app. I love the customization to pick which screen I see when the app opens. It's so convenient!

The app has a new look that I love!! It brings a brighter feel to banking. The app was a little difficult to navigate at first but what changes aren’t? Now that I’m fully accustomed to the new app I love it and can’t wait to see what’s next!

Easy to use and really enjoy the quick balance feature. When I have those panic moments at checkout on if the funds will be there or not, my mind is put at ease with a quick swipe, rather than having to log in.

As a totally blind person, it can sometimes be difficult to find apps that are accessible enough to enable me to use them. Fortunately, this particular app is very accessible for what I use it for. It’s very easy to manage my money thanks to this app. Great job.

The old version I’ve been using for years was simple and easy to use. The new update is slow! It takes forever to load and it’s confusing to navigate. My linked account to my husband and best friend are also gone and I need to re-link them so we can send money within the credit union to each other. I love pioneer but hate this app now.

I love that you can now see all of the accounts you are joint on, but I feel as though the app is difficult to navigate for the majority of locating things. The verbiage doesn’t quite make sense on some titles or where to locate things.

Old app was easy to use and simple. This new updated app is terrible for a person with out a rocket scientist helping them along the way on what button to push. Nothing about paying loans or moving money is easy from outside accounts. Finally figure it out by accident and hit the back button enabled me to change transfer from-to. But then it failed and gave me number to call. Real great job on this people.

this is the easiest and best app i've ever had for banking! the fingerprint touch ID is so easy to set up and use, and if you want to do an eye scan you can do that too! how cool is that?! there are also so many cool things you can do on the app!

The old version of this app was great, being a customer of pioneer for over 20 years it would deposit every check I used mobile deposit for immediately. Now it takes about 4 days just to deposit 200 of the check then another 1-2 days to deposit the rest. Looks like I’ll be switching banks the second my car loan is paid off

I love the look of the new app. It’s so pleasing to the eye and helps me with all my banking needs. It’s very easy to use and know where to go for things. Keep up the great work pioneer.

I love the mobile baking app. I use it all the time and it always has been very user friendly. Five stars all the way.

It is very slow. And sometimes doesn’t load at all. I also do not like the literal picture of check deposit. Why change it from what it was. There is a lot of background stuff shown

Don’t like this new update! In the old version I could just pay my loan directly from my other accounts but in this new update You have to make multiple transactions. Also a little confusing to navigate

I have a car loan with Pioneer, and the app is less than worthless if you’re trying to manage automatic payments. Just call customer service to have them help you, or you’re either going to have a payment come out twice (or 3 times in my case) or you’re going to miss a payment.

It is so easy to use

The new interface is TERRIBLE. it is not user friendly, clean, or easy to work with. Definitely preferred the old app. Plus when the update happened, it deleted all my transfer recipients! Even the ones who were also with PFCU. Absolutely awful.

I used to be able to use an external account to be able to pay my car loan but you guys have since changed that and made everything so much more challenging for no reason!!!!! But it back the way it was!

Am I the only one who has issues with it loading it never wants to load and open for me . The other app was way better

I got locked out of my accounts when they changed format. Have no access during business hours

Just wished it had reoccurring payments for auto pay

Can’t get into app 75% of the time. Does not work at all. When it does work it doesn’t work well.

U guys are amazing and the best bank ever

First bank app I can use Touch ID on and it friggin rocks!!!! Not to mention your mobile deposit is 100 easier than the other banks. With them you have to hold it within a rectangle for like ten seconds but with you? Just take a picture and it recognizes it. Best bank app I have used to date. Now if only your text and email alerts didn't take so long..... But keep up the good work this is the best!!!!!

Wasn’t over drafted but they decide to take $30-$60 out of my account even if I’m low

I don’t really ever write reviews.. but this new app has left me screaming, literally crying, and tearing my hair out, too many times to count. I had zero problems with the old app or PFCU, as a whole. I’m fact, I was quite a pleased customer. The app was simple, easy to use and fast. But after weeks of service upset and promises of “great” improvements, the new app, this one, rolled out. I will preface this by saying that I am not adverse to change. I am not frustrated simply because of the “learning curve” and change in process. I am tech savvy with zero problem with changes in general. But change is meant to improve-make better. I am not just confused about how to use the app. I do understand how to perform my banking tasks with it, those tasks are just wayyyy more convoluted than they need to be and used to be.. However, this new app has an overwhelming feel of changes made, just for changes sake, not because they improved anything. In fact, every change in this update, has made tasks more difficult that they used to be. Every process made more complicated. Instead of a transfer that took two taps before, a simple transfer now requires navigating through like 4 different pages. Transforming what I used to have done in less than 10 seconds from opening the app, now takes like 2 minutes. It doesn’t sound like a lot. But the over-complication of very simple processes is staggering. I could go on for days, explaining all the ways that this app is horrible to work with. But the main thing I want to convey is how totally and completely this bungled app update has turned all banking here into a nightmare. It’s not just a new app, it’s like an entirely new system that is tied to this disaster of an app. Unfortunately I live in a rural area without other in-person banking options. I am forced to keep an account open there for my HSA banking needs but I have removed all else I can from them and opened an account with an online bank. I want to be clear that this is not just a bad update, with a couple bugs to work out. What makes this such a horror is the fact that they didn’t just add some updates to an existing app that they could maybe revert or something. But they spent months and THOUSANDS of dollars to completely redesign their entire mobile banking system, not just the interface. And I’m the pursuit of change, they left no process untouched, regardless of need to do so. This has resulted in an overly complicated, unreliable “improvements” for things that weren’t broke and already worked well. So as someone who handles 90% of their banking needs virtually, this has rendered PFCU unusable in any way that matters in my day to day life. Bring back the old processes and I would be a very satisfied member again. Which should tell you something about how bad this app is. That a totally satisfied customer switched banks because the app was so bad they couldn’t do their banking anymore. P.S. if you do go ahead with this app, just prepare to be unable to access accounts on a pretty regular basis.

Only been a member for a short time (just under 90 days) so haven't had the chance to check out the check deposit feature, but all else is pretty awesome. Must have app in my opinion.

Was with another bank for years! They had a great app and was a little skeptical about switching banks, but I knew I wanted more of a local bank feel. I've enjoyed the app and Pioneer has stepped up their game and made improvements. Love it!

Far easier to use than the old app. The addition of mobile deposit is great! Most of all I love being able to pay my bills from my phone.

This has been a long awaited update for me! Haven't lived near a branch for quite awhile and have contemplated switching banks, but I can finally deposit checks via the app! Transfers and check deposit is working great for me. Thanks PFCU!!!

They don't just stop an great they are always looking for ways to make it even better!
