This is a decent, user-friendly electrical utility customer application. I have no complaints. One suggestion would be to add a set of button selections to describe an outage, along with an area for a detailed description of the problem. This way the control center would know if the problem is just a transient outage of a few seconds due to a recloser cycling from a branch hitting a line, or if a full outage has occurred. The more information that is available, the better-equipped the dispatcher will be to send the right crew to assess the situation.
I used to use this app a lot, mostly to pay my bill and monitor my usage. However it hasn’t worked in over a month. Won’t get past the sign in screen. Reports that it’s unable to communicate with the server. This used to be a very useful app. But obviously, it’s useless now. I’ve tried to delete the app and then reinstall. But same results.
Used to be a good app until December 2021. Cannot connect and was able to reset password to connect until March 2022. Now, cannot login at all. Completed iOS updates, deleted and reinstalled app without success. Based on other reviews, this isn’t isolated.
This app hasn't worked in months!How are we supposed to report an outage or look at our account or do any of the useful things that the app is supposed to do??
I've been an REC CUSTOMER since 1979 with excellent service. However recent billing changes have set REC's customer relations into a down spiral. If another provider were available I would consider changing. Seems as this company knowing all customers are bound have thrown customer service into low priority.
