This version is much easier to understand. I was able to quickly view my homeowners policy information without feeling lost in the app. I filed a claim today and was able to see the status of the claim and the assigned adjuster with ease. Thanks Selective!

Too slow

Very slow app as it takes too long to load the dashboard. It does not remember your face id. After sometime it automatically shuts down. Very bad experience using it. Very inconvenient

Nice update

It’s come a long way in a year or so. When I first installed a year and a half ago, it was buggy. I’m not often in the app. Now seems pretty smooth with access to all pertinent information.

Commercial insurance

Very happy with the overall experience so far. I’ve been using selective for almost 2 years now and am very happy with what I pay and what I am insured to do! Highly recommend Selective Insurance!

Cant login

So far I can’t login. I use a password manager and long random passwords it generates for me. To do this, i copy and paste the password from the password manager. This app will not allow you to paste the password!! 🙁 Additionally, i tried to go back and forth between the apps, and type in the password a few characters at a time, and it will blank the password when you switch apps.

Does what I need

I can view my policy details and see my billing details, which is the majority of what I need. So far I haven't needed to submit a claim.

Certificate filling out is not flexible

Not enough space to enter info of consumer affairs. I couldnt do the certificate myself. PLease add more lines for address and info.

After multiple requests

My name has not been changed on my account. And again after multiple attempts I was unable to make a timely payment on the app. All in all Selective has not been a good choice for me and I am ready to begin shopping on my own

Failure to pay my bill

I cannot pay bill with this app. I’ve been going to my insurance broker here in town to pay my bill for several months. It’s rather irritating has always been working fine up until about November of 2018

App not responding

Just wanted to let you know that the App is not allowing pictures to be uploaded. When you hit submit, it says there is an error. Also when logging in I am unable to select remember me or use the photo id recognization.

Not happy

Can’t open the app

After entering login info for the first time it goes to a “Tell us about yourself screen that is completely unresponsive. That’s the furthest I’ve been able to get with it. Worthless.”

Update needs to be fixed

I see why people are frustrated. Trying to register says doesn’t recognize my phone number or email but yet I get 5000 phone calls and emails from you guys.

Nice app, chat icon is very annoying

The chat icon stays on the screen no matter what submenu you’re in. There’s no way to hide it.

UNRESPONSIVE!!!

When I first downloaded the app, it worked. NOW?!? It’s crap. I login with Face ID and it just buffers; the screen is white. Ugh.

& I'm being generous...

...this app doesn't even deserve one star. So basic in its presentation, it's only a catalyst for someone to pay their Selective Insurance bill. Just try to find out what level of coverage you have. You can't do it w this app. Want to look at your policy &/or changes/endorsements made or anything about your deductible level? Can't do it. This app is as worthless as Selective. Big disappointment.
