When I decided to pursue my ambitions in purchasing a second home, I had no idea what to expect. The process as well as the laws had changed greatly and I did not recall having to meticulously nurture every aspect of the process by continuously submitting (what seems to be) an astronomical amount of documentation. At times, I felt overwhelmingly frustrated and defeated due to the solicitation of the information that the underwriters were asking me to provide. Thankfully my loan officer (Charlie Marshman) kept me informed and aware of the process by explaining to me what the grand scheme of things entails and pointing out the importance of my providing clear concise details of each scenario that arise. Charlie (Mr. Marshman) not only soothed my feelings of frustration, but he also made sure that I would never have to wonder about where I am within the process by formulating an advisory team (Mason Radcliff and Briana Elder) immediately after my file was submitted to the underwriters. The constant communication and consoling discussions that were provided by all of the team members made me feel much better about the process and gave me confidence that this whole ordeal was going to work out in my favor. I would like to (once again) thank Charlie, Mason, and Briana for their professionalism, their support, and (most of all) their EXPERTISE and WEALTH of KNOWLEDGE throughout this entire process which turned out to be profoundly rewarding to me.

This is my second home loan from VU. For starters Dustin, Chas and the whole team in Mizzu are far and above excellent. These folks have worked so hard to help me. They break things down and explain things to me. They keep me informed and shoot me straight with everything. To be honest, I think they’d walk thru fire to assist me. Not one time have I ever not been made to feel low or stupid. They also have never left me hangin. When I can’t get a hold of one of them, I leave a message and the very first chance they get, they get right back to me. Not only that, but they call, text or email me out of the blue just to make sure I’m good and I don’t need nothing. Last but definitely NOT least, the VU representative here in western North Carolina, Angelia Peterson. She has got to be the hardest working lady I have ever met. And also, the most honest. She don’t blow smoke. She is always straight up truthful with me. Even when she cuts her own throat. She deserves a medal, trophy and any other honor she can get. She’s smart as a tack and at the same time comes down to my level to explain things. I have never felt as much love and compassion as I have felt dealing with VU. They really care about us Veterans and do whatever it takes to insure we are informed and protected. Thanks y’all.

This my second rodeo with VU I have been treated like family! My loan officer is one of the downest to earth people you could ever be so blessed to cross paths with ! I lost my dad a year ago he helped me patiently for almost six months it was a difficult transition my dad left four houses behind I had to put things in order ASAP at the same time juggling funeral arrangements wills lawyers subbings and of course MOM ! Wesly was not just my loan officer he was a brother when I needed it most not one to ask for help but wowww what a beautiful human being he helped me guided me consoled me even shared some tear’s with me and told me I was not alone God was with me ! Second rodeo I’m fixing to buy another duplex and I pray in another few months he will help my wife and I purchase the third rodeo ! This is my first time using Veteran United and I can’t be more that happy, been a first time buyer I was super nervous but the Veterans United team was there to help me every step of the way. Every question, comment or concern they were there to help in a timely manner. Shannon was super helpful and was always there when I needed help making the process super simple, been station in Alaska and been a house in Florida everything was done through the website and mobile app and it was super easy and simple to do. I can’t believe they did it!! We were afraid every step of the way that this would fall apart. They weren’t. Vanessa and Anna were terrific!! Even through my panicked moments!! Vanessa called and reassured me. And they went from find the house to clear to close in 21 days. I honestly think they had Devine intervention because without this couldn’t have happened! They were Awesome, and streamlined everything. From Insurance to transfer of utilities everything, even address change!! I would highly recommend and Veteran call Vanessa!

I would just like to say that since I have been working with Veterans United team ( Matt Colgin and his staff) to get my pre-approval letter as a first and necessary step to begin the process it has been very easy. After they assigned my team and him as the team leader. They have stood by me and guided me thus far through the process and coached and supported my questions about what I should have. So now it’s my turn again to locate a possible home and location then make my offer as long as it meets the VA approved standards structurally and getting insurance coverage for a mock-up contract with the pricing estimated details included so I will know what to expect monthly affordability . Wish me success as I now have a little more confidence with their team players as well as my financial picture in mind. Thanks to everybody at United Veterans Home Loan Company …. I am happy about service I received from Veterans United. Emmy and Kayla are so awesome. They really stayed in touch with me and constantly sent emails and made calls to be sure everything was going in the right direction. Everyone at Veterans United helped in this process to make it easy , fun and effortless to the most part . There was no part of this paInful or time consuming. Questions were answered quickly. Easier than buying a car, going to a doctors office or using self checkout.

Throughout this process from start to finish we have been able to communicate any concerns with rapid response! Easy to talk to and always helpful to answer any questions or concerns!!! The process was amazing from beginning to end. Josh and Cassidy were superb throughout the entire process and guided us through it promptly and efficiently. Even thought this is a stressful process, they made it as easy and pleasant as possible for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better team!!

If you read any of the five-star reviews, you’ll notice most of them are reviewing Veterans United the company, and not their app. The app is seriously lacking. No FaceID, seriously? Also, the entire Bill Pay Center, the only portion of the app you’ll use once your mortgage is set up, is just a pop-up on the app, not a distinct part of the app itself. That’s a terrible interface. This app has no better functionality than just using the website.

I am very impressed with the dedication and hard work that it took to pull off getting into my house within 30 days a big thank you to Shay Goodman, my loan coordinator and Maureen O’Hare the senior loan officer I know it was a team effort thank you to everyone again. I would recommend veterans United for any veteran looking around for a home loan.
