I guess login issue is fixed. I was able to login without any problems, set up my fingerprint etc. Works good! App icons aren’t very attractive but I can live with it.
Ever since they updated from a newer versions weeks if not months ago. I couldn’t login I tried to reset my password it says not to use similar password or something. I tried so many times same thing happened. I called their customer service and the wait was like an hour and when someone finally answered the phone and told her my problem she said to send them an email and tell them my problem and then they will email me a ticket. And they did email me a ticket but that’s it. Their customer service is unforgivable.
Not sure how Apple allows broken apps to get published to the App Store but here we are Upon launching the app, I get a pop up saying “We apologize for the inconvenience but the Service is currently unavailable, please try again later.” I’ve been getting this any time I’ve tried to use the app for the last month. Any button I press on the main screen? Same warning.
Forgot password, attempted to reset. Entered account number and email as requested and got message of invalid credentials. Email is the one used to receive notifications from the water company and account number was copied and pasted from said email notification. Now I’m sitting on phone for over 30 mins. People do not have time to spend on efforts to pay their water bill- please get with the times and update these ridiculous issues. Im assuming I will have to go in to a location to pay like 20 years ago👍I’m sure I’ll be met with an attitude also, great work guys!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Shen trying to register the app it claims my address is ‘invalid’. However, the water department has no trouble sending our bill to this address. Repeated efforts to get them to address the problem has been ignored. Their ‘help’ button returns an inoperable, error message. A thirteen year old off the street could have written a better app.
Maddening to use. Constantly asks for your password even after you’ve logged in. Constantly kicks you to the login screen if you switch away from the app even for a second. Walking to the city building and paying your bill would take less time and be more efficient than using this garbage app.
I’ve called, left VM messages, I’ve emailed, I’ve stayed on hold for over an hour multiple times, left my number in the call back phone line, and NO RESPONSE FROM SD PUBLIC UTILITIES! I’ve moved, I cannot get a hold of my utility company to shut the water off in my name! This is absolutely horrible! What a abject failure the City of San Diego is at running utilities!
I emailed San Diego water 5 days ago to set up service, and on the second phone call have been on hold for 80 minutes so far. This app will let you sign up with an account number but not start service.
Please fix it, it could not log in!!! Tried again today not working! Used same password logged in to direct websites it worked fine. Please fix the app. Thx
There is no place on this app to cancel your service. I recently moved and need to cancel my service. I cannot get a hold of anyone on tue phone. They will not call back as promised. They will not answer the phone, no matter how long you wait on hold.
Unable to enable my auto pay since it won’t let me delete the original payment card; required to do by 8/15 but the main site was down and we couldn’t re-enroll in auto pay by the deadline
Tried to access the app but authentication failed and then it’s just the city of San Diego logo and the app freezes. Restarted the app with the same results. We pay way too much for water for this app to fail so easily. 🤦🏽♂️
Immediately kicks you back to the home screen if you switch apps or even momentarily turn your screen off. Asks for your password constantly. Just generally really hard to use.
I get the bill, but whenever I try to view the PDF of my bill, it is always unavailable. Three ways to get in to view it. All don’t work. I’d love to see the breakdown of my water bill, but this app is terrible.
You cannot select mandatory fields in order to input your info. Email ID is mandatory, but is also a non-editable field which makes paying through the app impossible.
This is what I get after providing my credentials: “We apologize for the inconvenience but the service is currently unavailable.” America’s Finest City...America’s Worst App?
It’s almost as if they’ve thought out every way possible to make paying your bill SO difficult, that you end up giving up and/or forgetting about paying it on time - and they make more money on late fees. I truly believe that. Every time I log in to pay my bill, it’s always the same thing. You have to input your password every time you go to a new screen even after you’ve already logged in. To pay a bill with the credit card on file you have to input the 3 digit security code, which I always have to end up going and finding my card to locate the code, if you want to change your card on file you have to AGAIN enter your password first - but for forbid you have forgotten your password, now you must input your account number. Go find your first paper billing statement. Oh but then your new password can’t be the same as the last five. and once you finally get in after 20 minutes to change your card on file “we are sorry for the inconvenience, we are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later” - aka, we are just trying to stall and make this difficult so you give up and we get you on a late payment. It’s honestly the WORST app I have ever used in my life.
