The app seems to be user friendly but missing the credit card piece. It makes more sense to me to have access to the credit card account along with the checking and savings instead of a separate login.
There are several issues with this app, the biggest one in my opinion is the External Transfer/Zelle feature. It just doesn’t work… or exist? If you look on the website, it tells you to access your bill pay account on the app… that’s not an option(also doesn’t seem to be something you can access from the website either), you try to access Zelle through their app/website it sends you back to the NBB mobile app. I’m really disappointed in the lack of accessibility to these features, hopefully it’s something NBB’s app developers can work on in the future.
Every week it seems there is a issue with the app. Either it tells me my face isn’t recognized, no service or there is technical issues or an error has occurred. I don’t understand this at all. My face did not change from 2 hours ago and I have phone service as well as Wi-Fi and it still won’t work. Then sometimes out of nowhere every month it seems like it logs me out of my account for no reason! I have to get help from the bank because I can’t remember my password. The app is supposed to make things easier and it’s not.
The app is clean works well, but the mobile deposit is way to restrictive. It rejects over half the deposits I attempt, even if you clearly follow the directions. Secondly 1000 checks are too small of a limit for transactions. Otherwise it is a great app.
Two things: 1. customers would greatly benefit by being able to see all accounts associated l with that customer including credit & shared accounts. 2. APPLE PAY*****
The mobile deposit & app are both pretty wonky and not reliable
Have consistently not been able to use the mobile app deposit as it simply does not work with my phone (iPhone 14) no matter what I do. I was able to use it a couple of times in the beginning, and never again after that even after switching phones. When you contact customer service, they seem annoyed, as if your concern or inability to use the app is an inconvenience to them.
Changing banks because of lack of tech abilities with this bank.
I am constantly hitting road blocks with this banking app. Supposed to have Zelle access but it’s no where to be found. I can’t access my credit card via the app at all. The credit card login constantly locks me out and I have to call to reset login because the system is flawed majorly. 20 years I’ve been with this bank and loyalty only goes so far I’m so far done!
The touch banking app was less user friendly and not very ascetically pleasing (seemed outdated). This app, however, is up to par with technology today and is much more user friendly with an attractive interface. Much needed.
Touch ID isn’t working anymore. If I delete the app and reload it works once, maybe twice and then stops working again. It doesn’t even give me the option to use Touch ID. I have to type in the password. This has been an ongoing issue. Otherwise the app seems to work well.
They have really weird rules. Checks have a box that says for mobile deposit on the back but they make you write it out. My other bank the picture taking us automatic, here it’s manual. Not even going to try anymore. I’ve had more rejected that accepted. Just had one rejrected, already in my other bank.
It’s always got some sort of problem, I mean seriously at least once a week I’m always experiencing “connectivity” issues or the app is down. It’s never reliable.
Connecting to Zelle should be simple but it’s not. I had attempted to Zelle a dozen times but it sends me to the app with no success. I’m switching banks that knows how to keep up.
