i inherited a ton of back and white negative for my farmily history project. could not find anyone who would print them as many were self developed from 193x . And others wanted hundres of dollars!. this app so easy to use and love seeing the picture. Many filter effect. great!. Please add more filter effect!
I wish I would’ve read the reviews aside from the 1 positive boosted up top from a year ago. Incredibly confusing and not user-friendly. Initially there’s 2 buttons:add photo or take photo. No instructions or pregame to let you know how it works. I’ve clicked on both buttons and when I try to hit the file button after (which I assume means save), I can’t get the photo to save on my camera roll or even view them in the app. Am I supposed to screen shot the finished edits? By the way, “edits” are just 9 filters that you can’t adjust. that is ALL there is to this app. I have an iPhone 12 mini and the settings button is hidden so far up in the top left I can’t even click on it because my clock is on top. So no clue what it does. Maybe it’s not made for a mini? I wanted to try a few apps out and see how well my negatives turned out before actually purchasing, decided to try this one and was charged despite the “3 day trial” description when you download. Lots of kinks here and I feel like an idiot, but I’ve tinkered with the very minimal amount of buttons for awhile, and I just don’t get how this is an app, let alone one you pay for. Hope I can save someone else from making the same dumb mistake I did. I tried FilmBox and that was so much better with FAR more options!
When I read the description for this app, I thought I read that there was a free period that it could be used. But when I downloaded and opened it, I was forced to subscribe to use it. I thought this was a cancel within 3 days or you subscribe thing, but no, it immediately charged me $9.99. I tried to use the app on some negatives I have. It did not work AT ALL. So I went in to make sure to cancel my subscription within the three days to avoid paying for an app that didn’t work for me. I had to call Apple to learn that I had actually subscribed for six months and my card was charged. I explained the app did not work for the negatives I had and these circumstances. This app seems like a bait and switch. You think you are just doing a free 3 day trial and you are immediately charged for a six month subscription. The negatives I wanted to convert were tiny, way smaller than regular negatives. So the app may work on regular negatives. I did not need it for that purpose and didn’t try it on regular negatives.
There are some great apps out there, but this is not one of them! This is actually just an attempt to scam money from people who don’t take the time to read the reviews. Like so many others, I thought this was an affordable approach to getting my negatives turned into actual photos. Not! Not only does it not perform the function that it advertises, but there is also no way to cancel the subscription and there is no free trial. Period! I guess every once in a while you have to be taken in as a reminder that no one is invulnerable to shiftless and shameless people who are looking for opportunities to make a quick buck at the expense of their fellow human beings.
I went to this app after downloading it and took pictures that I have in negatives to use from my camera roll and put them into the app. It did not convert any negative to a positive image… all it did was put a bunch of filters on my same negative images. There is no way to change screens or to go any further. This is a rip off and it does not do what it says it will. I deleted it immediately and then went and canceled my subscription. If you are going to delete this app you have to also go cancel your subscription. Make sure you do that because they can charge you if you don’t
I downloaded this app and it wasn’t what I needed. I deleted it within 10 minutes and went to manage my subscriptions to make sure I cancelled and there is no option to cancel! The only options are to change your subscription. Then I get a charge for the highest priced subscription - which will be perpetual until I can figure out how to cancel it. Requested a refund and tried reporting the app for quality and you can’t report through Apple. The developer website only has an email address so I am hoping I get a response.
I’ve downloaded so many apps and this is the most straight forward one when reversing colors. And thanks for the no ads after reviewing 5 stars 🥰 this app deserves it

I downloaded this program and it immediately pushes you into a subscription. It says you can try it for free for 3 days. I canceled it literally after 20 minutes and it still charged me 10 dollars. Extremely annoyed and seems like false advertising. I am really bothered that it ropes you into a subscription before you can even try the product.
My biggest mistake was not reading the reviews so I got caught in this FRAUDULANT APP SCAM. My experience is the same with ALL the negative reviews. The app is awful, you di t get a “free trial” and you CANT cancel Or get a refund. If you cancel you still are subscribed for 6 months. If you deleted and try to reinstall the app, you can’t restore purchases. Worse yet, you can’t use report a problem to dispute with apply because there’s a claim that says it’s not eligible for refund even though one cancels within the free trial. It’s not a free trial. It actually said there’s no receipt for the transaction but I clearly got a receipt I’m disputing the charge to my credit card company due to Fraud
Subscription options clearly state there is a 3-day free trial included in each option. So I subscribed and tried to process one photo. The app didn’t work. There’s no instructions or online help. So decided to cancel my subscription and found that I’ve already been charged for a 6-month subscription. $30 for an app that doesn’t work. Seems like a scam to me!
I agree with nikkiwikkiwikki, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?? I bought it to take a shot of a film negative (lit up on a light table), thinking it would (a) reverse the image accurately and (b) let you save the result. I think the first one was a 3 out of 10, and as for saving, that was not possible, so that's a big zero. Getting my money back is the next step so I don't flush ten bucks for nothing. Sorry to be so... Negative!! Haha.
The resulting image is washed out, too bright. If you convert it back with a different negative app or view using the built-in iOS classic invert colors, the image you get is much darker than the original. That's all there is to this app, for other filtering effects you have to pay. Don't bother, since it can't even get basic negative/invert right.
Offers 3 days free but charges you $10 up front no way to cancel. Worked with the app for 30 minutes with very little success and no instructions offered. Does not do what it says Went to App Store to drop and already charged my card $10
I was using the negative filter for my photography class and it got the job done. I only seemed to get ads when I was saving the picture. Other than that it’s a decent app.
This is the biggest bait and switch I’ve seen. Looking for a program that would allow me to scan my negative and invert the image to create a positive photo. That’s exactly what the program advertises, but does not actually do. The options are incredibly simplistic, basically, it just allows you to change your normal photo to give you a fake negative affect, totally worthless for my use, and it took me seven dollars to figure this out. Please read all the recent negative reviews before you purchase this garbage
Like many others have noted. This app did not provide what it promised. I went to cancel and it had auto signed me up for 6 months. Avoid. And the app itself? Horrible. No instructions. Didn’t work. No way the rating that is showing here of 4+ stars is accurate.
and then only saves the image to MAC Photos only half of the time. Could be a neat little app, but needs some work. Especially for 9.99 for 6 months (beware, the advertised 3 day trial does not exist...)

Definitely didn’t work, whether I took the photo from within the app or used a photo of the negative with my phone camera. My film negative doesn’t look inverter at all whatsoever.
It says you are signing up for a free trial but it actually charges you the highest subscription price when you go to cancel. I tried to cancel within a couple hours of downloading the app and was immediately charged. I will be reporting the fraud!!!

Paid for the premium and started my first black and white negative scan. Horrible conversion. I cancelled the subscription immediately and deleted the app but apparently I can’t get my $9.99 back.
Works only so-so. Seems impossible to cancel subscription once downloaded. But if it is be very careful to hit the very small x in the top right corner for the free 3 day trial. Don't click on LET'S GET STARTED. You'll be sorry.
