It’s been great for me!

I’m not sure why people are saying they’re being overcharged? This is my 3rd year and I pay my full year upfront and I know exactly how much I’m paying. I’ve have received refunds after each audit (not a ton, but at least they give money back). I suspect people who say their rates went up significantly don’t realize that insurance companies review how much risk you expose them to. So if you say you’re doing handyman work and then you’re out framing 3 story houses and billing out 750k a year, yes your premiums go up. Anyway… creating certificates on demand is an awesome feature. No more hounding your agent for 3 days to get a certificate. You can do it in 3 minutes on your phone. This is extremely helpful.

Payday lender of insurance

Had a solid 9 months of hasls free general liability. Then at month 10 the double digit insurance payment that was on autopay went up 600%. Bait and switch got sent an email saying “get ready for another year of insurance” and showed an amount that looked like what i had paid for 6 month of coverage. Turns out they can jack up the price to half a years worth of coverage and charge that monthly and its on me to catch their sneaky little ways. Quick google search and tons of bbb complaints show this is their modus operandi. By the time i noticed it. I had been charged 4 years worth of coverage in just a few months. Reached out and got 0 resolution. Good thing i didnt actually have a claim of some kind because im also seeing people not getting paid out. If you need rock bottom coverage to meet a requirement, go for it. But check it montly so you can catch when they “upgrade you to a better more premium plan” or sneak in that ole 600% price hike. Payday lenders are at least up front about stealing your money.

No issues at all so far, 2.5 years in!

From an operations standpoint, everything is exactly as needed. I run a mid-high end remodeling company with only a few subs. I can produce certificates easily for additional contractors and customers, as well as email them via next directly. Everything is very simple and user friendly. Since I am working with my hands most days, I dont have extra time to wait for an insurance agent to get back to me- being in control of whats going on has been amazing! I have recommended to several friends in the industry and they are as pleased as I am.

So Far So Good

This feels like the next generations’ insurance. I needed quick and easy liability insurance for selling art at a farmers’ market. Next was recommended online so I gave it a shot. Everything was so streamlined - getting a quote was so quick. No stupid phone call (no I don’t have time nor desire to talk to a rep!!). Price was really great. Adding additional insured was easy… I’m not seeing any downside to this company and app at all (yet). The low reviews seem pretty sus to me.

Overall good idea, but…

1. There is no phone customer support phone number anywhere on the app, or the website. I had to Google for their customer service number and found it on a random website, that’s insane for a company that is valued at over $4 billion! I’ve designed an app before and this is a huge oversight(or maybe on purpose?) 2. When I called half the time the agents weren’t available so it just disconnects you automatically. I understand that they are probably using a third party, but this very bad for business. 3. Prices are pretty reasonable, issuing a policy should not be the only thing in the comp structure, it’s 3x cheaper to keep an existing customer. Customer service should be #1

I love this app and customer service is amazing!

Affordable commercial auto and general liability insurance with the simplicity of doing everything online. I love being able to get an immediate certificate of insurance to send to my customers via email and add them as a certificate holder with ease! Wish I could give this company ten stars! My Commercial Auto and General Liability is the same price as a standard auto policy!

Trash insurance

Was good for a year then out of no where they increased my rate over 3xs no accidents. Wasn’t even working half the year. If I could give no stars I would. Ran me out of business since I wasn’t working at the time. I’m a father of 3 and a husband. This hit us hard as they’ve been charging my account the last few months without me knowing, today I look in there and there’s no money for food or mortgage. So I will do what I have to to make it. Thanks for no thinking next u pressed me till I broke. Didn’t approve that much money being sent to you. You just took it. That’s robbery and jailable where I’m from. Idk how ur getting away with this.

Fast, understandable and effective!

Amazing upgrade from the web page

Better be committed

An affordable insurance company, and you need to make sure 100% you want to run a business if you choose to leave this Company beware… impossible to get through to somebody if you’re lucky enough to find their number to discontinue services. I discontinued services two months ago through the chat service and never actually discontinued. Still pulling money out of my bank account. Now I need a new bank account thanks next

Fast & Efficient

Certificates can made and processedin minutes. No waiting to talk to an agent. But agents do respond if you need assistance. I have been a client for several years, no issues with obtaining insurance certificates.

So frustrating to work with customer service

I just had the worst experience possible waiting hours to speak with representatives just to tell them to call my bank since supposedly my card was the issue. It wasn’t and then I had to call back, wait again, for them to take 20 minutes to figure out there system is crap. Currently finding a new insurance company.

Zero loyalty or respect for existing customers

They cancelled my policy after one year for no reason, when I tried to contact someone to talk, they have no customer support. They make it easy to sign up and start paying, then they will deny your policy for no reason, looks like their business model is based on getting new customers and then cancel existing clients seems like a deceptive practice to me

Terrible customer service

I went through the whole thing online and got a call right away. They sent us to another operator who sent us to an agent who gave us a quote right away. Sounds great right? Well we had more questions about the coverage and been calling agent and leaving messages for a week and haven’t received a return call.

How do I add another business policy?

I have multiple businesses and I have no idea how to get a second quote. The only options I get are for my one business. I would have to use a different login for a different business.

Don’t Use This Company!

They’ll give you a fairly competitive rate for your insurance for your first year monthly premium. After a year they will double that premium and hope you don’t notice. It happened to me as well as other peers that told me the same thing.

Disappointed

Have been a longtime customer. Bought a new policy and needed a rewrite because the app wouldn’t allow me to add additional insured to the appropriate policy. They did not honor the original price and I was charged more.

Great for a year!!!!

Started out great!!! Easy to use and billing is awesome. Never had a claim and my renewal more than doubled. I shooed around and got same coverage half the price as I did with them my first year. I would def shop around before choosing this company.

Terrible company

They will drop you at the end of your terms for no reason nor give you a notice they will not renew. They put me in a horrible situation that could of easily been avoided with a little communication.
