This app seems friendly and some parts are but I’m having trouble with the surveys also skipping questions like messing up my time which in turn messes up my pay !!!!!! Not happy ! Also the customer support is terrible I have just started using this app 3 weeks now and I e had a lot of trouble .
The app unfortunately skipped multiple questions without my knowledge within the survey and then once I tried to submit my completed survey it said I never answered question 8, which I did, it’s the one where I say what type of phone I have, but failed to mention the more than 7+ Questions that never even showed up. It literally went 1,3,5,8 and then skipped a couple more after 12. Then it made me redo the entire survey, still skipping 7+ questions, and said I got 3 questions wrong when I know for a fact I only missed one. The amount of time I spent dealing with the app put me over my allotted time to complete the job and I had to explain why I didn’t finish in the 80 minutes I was allowed. It also won’t let you update your phone number within the profile, and the tabs combine over the tops of each other making it difficult to select months and dates while in the calendar page. I bought a new phone since my iPhone SE wouldn’t even allow me to read the high importance messages, cutting off the bottoms of the messages and then locking up. I hope you can fix these issues because it’s a very important app for completing our required work. Other things seem ok, but I haven’t had my first job call yet. -Logs me off in middle of my visits. -Clocking in/out of the visit is often time consuming. Shouldn’t take 2 minutes to connect and create a time stamp. -No longer have the ability to print materials from my iPad or iPhone via the app, have to login through web browser to print -While inputting data, if I accidentally zoom in, the zoom gets stuck and I cannot complete the entry without closing the app and getting back into my survey. This happens multiple times on certain visits... usually from taking horizontal photos and switching back to vertical input. There are many more minor issues that come up. Links for app support go to the NI operations folks instead of the technical side, could use a link to report glitches and perhaps they would get fixed! Even the link in the App Store goes to operations instead of the technical folks.
This app is the absolute worst. Doesn’t stay logged in even if the setting is set to do so. Randomly logs you out. When you go to open a file it often times will not open the file and you have to log out and log back in. Can not download files from the app, only the website. Drains the battery of your phone when using. Whoever developed this app should be mortified at the garbage fire they put out. Also, I see the developer has responded to many people’s feedback but since the feedback is the same for over two years I’m going to assume they do nothing to improve it. I’ve been using this app for just under a year and have yet to see an upgrade.
Upgrade has reduced productivity and increased aggravation
This latest update/upgrade drains my battery and uses too much data. I used the old version for several months with no problem. Immediately after the upgrade I experienced multiple annoying and time wasting problems: unable to complete survey at the store with a WiFi connections and usually the cell service is poor. Because the app gets stuck “trying” The battery runs down and too much data is used. The only way to stop and start over is to delete the app and hope it will work. Often I am not able to complete work at multiple stores because the first one hasn’t uploaded photos and I can’t sign out of that store.
PROS: This app is very easy to navigate and the interface is straight forward. Not too many tabs and links unlike Salesforce. CONS: No matter how many times I check the stay signed in box as soon as I close the app it signs me out... EVERYTIME... Extremely frustrating and time consuming to have to sign in every time in order to complete my work. I also don't get notifications for my jobs when the app is closed... Because I'm signed out all the time. I have uninstalled this app so many times just to see if it will work and still nothing. Please help with this issue.
The app is not that good and the people act like they care but they really play dumb or care because it’s there job when things are still missing up but they don’t fix things from there end to help I have had to delete and down load the app twice back to back in a week the app is always missing up they don’t divide areas in the states were they work at and to many people are using it at once the app can drop or miss up even if u have bars on your phone you get payed from the survey and it takes 20 to 30 mins sometimes to fill out people here are not really caring
Can’t clock in without deleting open tabs + need to instal and download app every time!
Drains your phone if location button is on. Can’t clock in or out of job without having tabs open and even when you delete tabs, it still won’t you sign in. Delete app every time to use it to clock in or it won’t work. Waste too much time trying to clock in for job. And now it’s super slow on downloading app to finish clocking out of job. Apparently this app is not great with the new iPhone 8 Plus. Ever since your update, it’s been the worst for me. Very frustrating.
NI could be a great app once the bugs are fixed. It’s so frustrating trying to stay logged in to schedule and prep for jobs because I am continually being kicked out of the app. causing me to waste time logging back in. I’m also continually having difficulty uploading necessary photos to complete the surveys. I waste to much time in the field fighting the app. to upload information necessary to turn surveys in on time. PLEASE WORK THE BUGS OUT!!
I’ve rescheduled jobs several times a day to go in the next day and see that now they are late because the need to be rescheduled again. This app is garbage. It’s slow, closes unpredictably, won’t load pages I need to see for a job, signs out mid job. My battery drains quickly even with no other apps open. Please do some major upgrades to this app. It’s my least favorite part of my job.
Please, please update this app so iPhone users can sign in using facial recognition. Not only is it difficult to sign in but it also constantly logs me out even though I checked the keep me signed in box. This app is extremely frustrating in so many ways. If you click the back arrow it sometimes signs you out. It has too many bugs and it’s one of the worst apps I’ve ever used!!!
This app is awful. Works 1/2 of the time. Screen goes back to home screen during survey. So aggravating. Photos get stuck and won’t load. There has to be a better way to enter store visit info. Is this really the best you can do with a app that company’s are now using with 100’s of people logged on at one time?? And forget it, if you are in a area with bad cell reception, which are 1/3 of my stores. Using this app ticks me off on a daily basis!
This app is so under developed and so horrible and unprofessional. I do not understand why my company and other companies use it. They need to find a more proficient way to make this app run. There is many holes in the location check in there’s holes in the drive time, and the surveys are absolutely horrible. They skip over questions and at times I find the app clocking itself out.
this app has so many bugs its unreal and its frustrating that no one cares to fix it. to the programmers, use this app yourself and then ask yourself if you enjoy using it. im sure anyone on here would agree that this app needs to be FIXED , my goodness !!! how many times do i need to be signed out and to sign in just to go back and fix a mistake ?????
On my iPhone 6 the battery drain is significant with the new always on gps locator. During my 4 hour shift the battery drained from full charge to 60%. Almost ran out at end of my second 4 hour shift. Also photo uploads take extremely long to upload, plus app crashes, etc. Please fix.
Terrible app that hasn’t been updated in over three years
I’m surprised that this app still works. Crashes all the time. Here it is three years later, and they still haven’t updated the app even though it’s still being used by some companies. good luck to anyone that has to use this app.
If you don’t mind constantly logging in and out, and waiting for your materials to load, if they load at all, then you may not mind this. The only way to ensure it works is to print what you need and then log into the website from a home computer. The mobile app. Is hit and miss
This app is not very user friendly. I agree that the survey was difficult to maneuver and I also skipped Over a few questions. I submitted it already so now I have to figure out how to fix it. I hope the job is easier to learn than this app.
This app is the worst. Have to keep signing in every time I use it. Takes minutes load screens and if your employer pays by the minute you are losing time. This app creates a hostile work in environment. Basically if you don’t trust your employees get new ones.
Ever since the last update the app barely works. I have to uninstall and install every time I have to clock in because of not it says “too many http redirects” logs me out for no reason at any time and loading times are not horrible
This app crashes so much and doesn’t even load at times. I try get to work and it doesn’t load. The app store says it works with my iphone but it really doesn’t seem like it does
Not an actual app, it just mirrors the website. Not optimized, slow, buggy, crashes. Some buttons are hard to use since they are at the bottom corner of the screen, unresponsive most of the time.
This app is terrible. Is not working good very bad it won’t let you do what you need specially when try to submit the survey. Is better if you use the website.
Worst ever for connectivity. Walk two feet and it disconnects with a dreaded too many redirects message. Gets worse with updates. Any company that uses this must want to torture their employees
It always signs me out regardless if I have keep me signed in checked or not. Extremely slow, always refreshing, kicks me out, log in, FINALLY clock it. Logs me out in the middle of a survey. Very slow connection
This app would be perfect if we were able to save .pdf files to iBooks directly from the app. As it is, I have to go the my natural insight online (safari) so i can save .pdf files i need to ibooks.
