There’s a lot of reviews that talk about the pros and cons of the app but let me just say my favorite thing is I don’t immediately create a new event if I just fat finger my phone and hit a random spot on the calendar. So much time wasted on hitting a random spot on Google calendar and I’m like no I didn’t mean to please - no event oh god! Love the design and the way information is presented it makes it feel less overwhelming. I would love a 5 day view - 3 days is great because it’s intentional but getting the work week in one viewable window would be helpful. I know Google calendar forces the whole week on you though which I don’t totally love either. Either way I’m excited to see where the app goes from here!
Notion Calendar is a game-changer for iOS users who want a calendar that's more than just a scheduling tool. Its integration with the Notion workspace is unparalleled, allowing you to link events to relevant pages, databases, and notes. This interconnectedness provides a rich context for your appointments, making it easier to stay organized and informed. The clean, intuitive interface is a joy to use, and the app's features, like customizable views and seamless syncing across devices, make it a top choice for anyone seeking a powerful and efficient calendar solution.
There are still a few features it needs to be perfect, but there is no other calendar that can allow you to do what this one does. I have all of my tasks (school assignments, and other life stuff) stored in notion and I’ve always wanted to be able to see them on my time calendar. This not only allows me to do that, but I can drag items from my tasks database directly onto my calendar and plan which hours of the day to do them. It is amazing.
I never leave reviews, but this is the first time I’m doing so because I feel like I see a lot of potential for this app- but something has to be fixed! I love the idea of using Notion Calendar to consolidate my task lists on notion and my other calendars. It’s nice except for the fact that the widgets don’t sync properly- you have to open the app a couple times to ensure the widget is displaying the correct day’s tasks and events. If you do not do this every day- it will not sync with the current time until you do, meaning the widget can literally show the tasks and events from weeks prior if not constantly refreshed manually. Please fix this! The events don’t even progress on the widgets as the time goes on either unless you again- open the app a couple of times to refresh it. Sure, I could check my calendar constantly- but I shouldn’t have to considering every other calendar app’s widgets (google and apple) just seamlessly syncs with the time. For that reason, I’m leaving my rating at 2 stars for now. Hope to see this addressed in a future update.
Love Notion Calendar! Great that it’s connected to Notion, but mostly I love the design. Super smooth, easy to use, and pretty ✨ I use it on the desktop extensively and I love that the mobile app gives me all the info I need in a simple, clear UI without too much overwhelming detail on the initial landing surface. I can dig in further when I want to see all my event details, but otherwise Notion Calendar’s mobile app just surfaces what I need to know when I need to know it in a simple, beautiful way.
I started using the Notion Calendar app when it first released and really liked the app’s simplicity and aesthetics but the functionality was definitely more limited than what I was expecting. Recently, I’ve noticed that there’s been a ton of improvements made, and I’m impressed at how much smoother it feels relative to before!! So much so that I find myself reaching for Notion Calendar over Google Calendar nowadays. Def see a lot of potential for this app!
I’ve tried a few calendar apps and none have really sticked. I love the simplicity of Notion Calendar. It’s visually very appealing and I find it very incredibly easy to schedule and organize events. I’ve been using the app since it was released and I’ve really happy with the features and fixes. Looking forward to more features!
I really love Notion Calendar, and find it easy to use and visually appealing. However, there are a few things that I would like to see from it in the future. In the iPhone app, I think it would be nice to have a week view when the phone is rotated sideways. I like seeing the whole week and I feel like this would be pretty intuitive. I wish they had a way to make the calendar colors customized rather than picking from a limited list. Being able to input hex codes would be a huge plus for me. I also wish they had an iPad version of the app (not just the iPhone version but smaller) so I could see the detailed calendar and also hopefully a full week view similar to the web application. Overall, I really like the app and have enjoyed using it over other options, but I think it should have these things to make me love it.
I have really enjoyed using the Notion calendar as I love that it integrates all of my calendars on Notion with my Google Calendar. On the iPhone app I wish you could see the full week instead of just two or three days. I also hope that the app will soon be updated for an iPad format. I dislike the Google Calendar app very much, and would much rather just use Notion Calendar across all of my devices.
I’ve started using Notion Calendar instead of Google Calendar for my work and personal calendars! I especially love that it knows when events are “the same” across multiple calendars and shows them as the event. Sure it’s just a UI for gcal at this point but maybe someday they’ll have their own system. One can dream!
this app has so much potential, especially as a person who made her own calendars from using notion….but the mobile NEEDS a monthly spread BADLY. it makes the app less accessible/handy to use. and i also find it hard to put in an event at a specific time and date, especially if the time goes past 11:59pm. i don’t know if that’s my fault but it seems to send the event date back in time, instead of forward, to the next day.
Notion’s Calendar app is a great one to use for everything I schedule throughout my days, be it meetings or just reminders for myself. Easy UI, integrations with other products, and cool feature like reminding me I need to RSVP for events others have sent me. Looking forward to seeing more in the future!
The design is nice, and events are easy to input and keep track of when looking at the different views. This is true particularly for the mobile version in Notion calendar. My only problem with Notion calendar as a whole is that there is no other way to have an account than through Google accounts. Would love to use my alternate email to sign in
This app is extraordinarily core in enabling me to run my life. It has amazing integrations with Notion. I manage Notion database content alongside my calendars, allowing me to both manage events for work / life and also time-block my tasks. Super excited to continue using this product. It gets better every day!
Made the switch to Notion Calendar several months ago and find it much more integrated into my day than Google calendar. Its desktop app and the iPhone app make it much faster to work with. Nice keyboard shortcuts. And the design is just cleaner – less clutter to sift through.
I’ve been using notion calendar since it was called cron. I love how it integrates many different calendars and pages from notion in a single place, as well as other unique features. I would love to use an iPad version that is just not a copy of the mobile app though.
I love notion, and I love the notion calendar! It’s got great features which make viewing multiple calendars in one view super easy! I would love to see a “search” feature to help me find events or calendar notes easier as a future feature to put this app on the same level as google calendar or the native apple calendar.
Notion Calendar helps me track my work and life responsibilities in one place – and the minimal yet beautiful design and integration with Notion help me manage the chaos! I love being able to easily bring all of my worlds together since everything lives in my Notion workspaces.
I give a good amount of thought to optimizing my productivity workflow, and Notion calendar is the most well thought out calendar app I’ve found. However, I still have to use the OG google calendar app on iPad! I’m sure y’all are working on it, but wanted to just share that there’s certainly a desire among users for a proper iPad version.
There are so many good features here I love that I can’t get anywhere else. Calendar blocking is amazing. Also being able to see all my calendars (and my partner’s) at the same time. Been using it since it launched and love it.
As a student, it’s really helpful to see the assignments i track in Notion on my calendar. The widget is also a must have, it looks so clean and I can see everything coming up from my home screen!
I use it every day for both personal and work. I love the color coordination (allowing me to visually differentiate by topic, and with a great range of colors). I also love the infinite horizontal scroll across weeks. Highly recommend!
The perfect companion for the Notion Calendar desktop app when I’m away from my computer. One of the first things I check in the morning to see my schedule for the day. Fast + reliable!
Hey! I really love the vibe of the app in terms of the Notion brand, but I’d be curious to see what extra value the calendar app could add for users outside of integrating with Notion and everything else…? Also, dragging items on the mobile app isn’t very great. It jumps around and feels almost buggy. I’m sure you’re all looking into this and is just difficult to fix, but thought I’d share.
Works seamlessly with Notion Calendar on desktop. Integrates closer with GCal than Apple’s default Calendar app and has more power user features (Lockscreen widget, multiple time zones, etc.) than Google’s Calendar app. Great!
I love that I can open up one app to see both my personal gmail and work calendar. No more worries about my colleagues seeing something random like “eyebrow threading” on my work calendar!
I’m a huge fan of Notion Calendar. Scrolling dynamically across time ranges, easily viewing multiple calendars, and being able to create pages in my Notion database make this app a clear winner over Google Calendar.
When I zoom in or out, events usually displayed wrong. I hope the 'Add Participant' option allows us to enter someone's name only as well, even if they aren't a Notion user so they cannot be added in. Additionally, I think it’d be better if some notes could be directly displayed under the title.
Been enjoying using Notion Calendar. The Notion integration and Zoom link buttons have been helpful. It makes me wonder why doesn’t Apple Calendar have a two-day view?
Amazing. I love this calendar app. It is everything that I need in a calendar app and it is so versatile. I can put it on all of my devices and have my schedule wherever I go and it’s free!!! It does not get much better than that.
This application is very simple and straightforward to use. I can access all the important details about any events or meetings and the iOS widgets are delightful.
Love that I can view notion tasks on the calendar. It would be nice if extending event times was easier like on the website version (and Apple calendar). Would be even better if compatible with iPad. Overall great addition to the Notion package.
It's just the iPhone app. No ability to expand your view beyond three days. INCREDIBLY laggy/slow. I spent probably less than a minute playing with it after logging in. That was all the disappointment I can handle. I absolutely LOVE notion calendar on the web or desktop app. But this app needs some serious improvements before it's fully ready for iPad users.
This is legitimately the best and most beautiful calendar app I’ve ever used. Cannot write enough good things about this application. I am addicted to it
When Notion came out with a calendar I was quite excited but this app is basically useless. There is no actual calendar view, only daily, 2 days, or 3 days at a time. Really terrible for agenda planning and checking future schedule and basically all the things I actually use a calendar for One of the worst calendar UIs in existence
I actually like this calendar but I simply can’t get over only having 1, 2 or 3 day views. Adding the default view being the whole week would make this app much better imo. If they do this I’ll come back and change my rating. But for now? 3 stars.
This app has os much potential, and as an iPad user I feel extremely disappointed as in iPads the window is the same size as iPhone’s window. It should have its own iPad version with different layouts. Plus, there’s not even a web version so it only works with computers ;(
Please add a landscape(horizontal) mode support for iOS
Great app , but several improvements would make it even better. 1. Add a horizontal mode support 2. Fix the widgets to show a calendar only for the current day (or can be customized) 3. Sync up takes too much time. Thank you for such great product!
