Nun Massacre

I have no issue with no sprint, I still find the game completely terrifying. However, if you want to add sprint here’s two simple ideas. 1. Sprint Zone outside the joystick. Just like with 2k mobile you have a zone outside the joystick’s circle which allows for sprint, if you’re stick is within the circle you walk, if it is outside the circle you run. This does have a negative as it’s a little annoying when you try walking since people usually just hold foward, so it would take some getting used to. 2. Sprint during chase sequences; If you run into the nun you automatically sprint to get away from her, this has a negative to where a stamina bar wouldn’t really be useful since you are automatically sprinting. So you woul have to either get rid of the stamina bar, or let it hang just to run out.

At first I was kinda skeptical. Most mobile ports of other games are fake or fan-made and they end up being crappy and full of ads in unnecessary places. Then I realized that this is legit puppet combo porting Nun Massacre to mobile. Holy crap y’all actually did a good job porting it. Still as scary as it was on PC. Only issue I have is that the game feels too slow without sprint, especially during chases. It’s understandable tho. You can’t always have everything. Too many controls to make room for a sprint option. Other than that, phenomenal work. It’s rare to see a good port like this.

This port is excellent. Good controls and good movement. Ads are what I’ve come to accept, but the fact that they disrupt gameplay at every step of the game kills the atmosphere and ruins the feel of the game. But this isn’t the main issue. Not being able to run destroys this games horror aspect, having the nun lightly walk towards you doesn’t make your heart race to the point where you’re shaking afterwards in the console port or on pc. Even though this is a mobile game, the simple feature of running can really make this truly a horror game. This game also needs some more controls as well. Having to go into the inventory manually without being able to quick swap doesn’t work well. Other than these little gripes, the game is well textured and looks just like the real game.

Up front, this is my first experience with this game. I haven’t played it on any other platform so my review is based purely off of my gameplay experience on mobile. The good: The game runs well. I didn’t experience any crashing or glitches during my gameplay. There are some nice effects that aren’t totally distracting. The bad: The controls feel awkward. For a game about hiding and being chased, you move so slowly and there’s little to no information given to guide your way or teach you the game mechanics. For some items you have to crouch down to get them which is inconvenient at best. The door opening mechanic is a crude imitation of Amnesias superior mechanic. It’s very much so a throw you into the deep end sort of game. The ugly: The level design is just bad. That first little walk up the mountain was atrocious. The level design was so far from player friendly it was almost insulting. I understand it’s supposed to be a rough road that sets the scene for the isolated scary building. You can accomplish that without making me play like I’m trying to jump up a cliff in Skyrim. TLDR; there’s potential here for a game in the same vein as Amnesia or Outlast but the gameplay mechanics and level design need serious overhaul to make this worth anyone’s time.

Okay, so first of all, this game is drop dead amazing it’s so fun and even if I get scared I keep wanting to come back and play it again because of the amount of entertainment in this game! I’ve always watched coryxkenshin play this and I’ve always wanted to try and this game is really good, I love the graphics and items and the setting! But sometimes there is a sound glitch when the nun is chasing you and say she’s gone now that sound would still play witch kind of ruins the experience a bit. But other than that this game is awesome, you guys have amazed me, keep up the good work!! ❤️

This is literally the coolest horror game I’ve ever played. I love retro themed stuff. It is truly a masterpiece of a horror game. But, there’s one problem I have and it’s the customer service. They were disrespectful to me when I asked them to put one of their other horror games on the app store. I told them I was a fan of Nun Massacre and asked if they could include one of their other horror games on the app store and they just said “No” and that’s it. I love Nun Massacre a lot, but don’t contact Puppet Combo’s customer service. They’re just not polite at all.

In my original review I explained why the controls frustrated me. Usually being that its hard to close doors and the jumping mechanic is a little weird (needing to double tap in order to jump), but after playing the game a bit longer, I sort of got a hang of the controls. I just think that these types of games are better with a controller in your hands, rather than with a touch screen phone like what I’m doing. All in all, I certainly do appreciate that puppet combo was able to ad this game to download on smart devices, and I hope to see more games from them real soon.

My short play-through of this proceeded as following: •Started the intro, needed to tap the action button eight times to get out of the bathtub you start in. •Walked down the hallway and fell through the floor to the outside. •Walked as far as I could and turned, listened to the game’s intro music. •Continued walking across increasingly steep terrain, fell through the ground, landed in a ravine and couldn’t get out. Skipped the intro. •Explored the first floor, searched doors and cabinets. Trying to move around to look results in constantly jumping up and down, since double tap jumps and there’s no way around this. •Walked up the stairs, fell into a pit that glitched the game out and forced it to the main menu. •Explored again, eventually finding the nun and getting away. •Found the nun again, and while running away an ad started I couldn’t exit while the game continued, died because of the ad. Folks, that’s as far as I’ll go in this one. The atmosphere and graphical details are incredible, but controls are totally broken (try to open all the doors on a cabinet without shaking your phone in rage) and it’s too buggy to enjoy.

I love puppet combo games and always wanted to play them on iOS. When they released nun massacre for iOS I could hardly contain my excitement. I have one request which is to add more puppet combo games to IOS! I have already played and completed nun massacre and crave more puppet combo games on iOS! Preferably feed me billy night watch or night ripper. If the producers of puppet combo games are not already working on this I would love to see more iOS puppet combo games soon.

Ok, first things first, Puppet Combo is the best. I have been watching every YouTuber including CoryXKenshin play Puppet Combo’s games and have been wanting to play them for as long as I can remember. I think that Puppet Combo game quality and the plots that their games have is just.. through the roof. Outstanding, amazing, there’s just no words to explain how amazing their work is. This game is really cool to and it gave me such a spine-chilling feeling right when I first tapped the game. Keep up the outstanding and amazing work Puppet Combo!!!!!!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁

Sup I love the PC version as much as this version but one problem I have been facing is their is no option to sprint but I do love how they got this a mobile version of the devs see this review, adding a sprint option may save me all the stab wounds my character has when encountered by nun and I love how they programmed a difficulty system unlike pc overall like my title a masterpiece on mobile ;)

I’m on edge when I play this game and that’s what it’s meant to be, but I wish the controls would be easier. You can only jump every 3 seconds and that makes it hard to navigate through the map sometimes. I noticed I couldn’t sprint either like in the PC version. Honestly I think it makes it less scary since there’s no sense of urgency. Hopefully there will be an update to fix it maybe. Overall, would play again. 4 stars.

I was so exited to find out that this game was mobile. However, due to it being mobile, one of the endings is impossible to complete. The ending where Mrs. McDonnell burns the nun and is forgiven by bongo is impossible to complete due to the giant pit you have to jump across after emerging from the vent system. It’s a sort of hidden walkway you must jump across to complete, but I find I am unable to do it. I would at least like an explanation on how I can successfully do so.

I didn’t think this would be on mobile but I was playing this in class let me tell you I literally flipped my desk because of how scared I got the nun stay camping and pops out of nowhere at the wrong times 💀I’m crying right now I thought it would have been easy especially because I watched CoryxKenshin beat it but nah this is hard 😭 I see why Cory didn’t come back to it for a long time

The nun massacre is a great game, and I'm glad you guys added this to mobile since I've always wanted to play a puppet combo game. You guys should consider adding more for mobile players so more people can hear about you guys, and you can get more people getting your games, since not everyone has a PC. I think you guys should add Murder House next to mobile maybe, or babysitter bloodbath.

I’ve always been the biggest fan of the puppet combo franchise and anything they have made I’ve loved. Nun massacre is that one game that embodies the term “horror” in the most terrifying yet consumable aspect yet and to see it available on mobile for mostly Anyone have the ability to join in on this one experience. Literally a million / 10 and remember don’t play more than once a day 😉

I just got done playing this game and it is great! I've also watched people like Coryxkenshin and Kubz Scoutz play this game, and many other Puppet Combo games, so please put more of your games on mobile! I also expected this to be one of the fan-made type ones where it's nothing like the real games. 10/10 recommended.

One, add a run button because the game is slow without it, two fix the ads. The ads only pop up when I’m under attack and I get killed. Make sure the ads pop up when your in the menu only. If you do that then it won’t interrupt the game. Those are my only two problems. It’s a good game.

Thank you for adding such a incredible game to the app store! I love horror games and this is probably the best one i’ve played so far. Me being a horror lover, I could never find any good horror games on mobile that were free. The only thing that I think should be added is a save option, cuz every time I get back into the game I have to restart the whole thing. I hope u notice this, and thank you!!

Though I would argue jumpscares do flatten the atmosphere of horror. Puppet combo redeems itself with incredibly startling scares. The game is also terrifying because it makes the character fast in a small spaces environment. Getting to the story the words puppet combo puts together for the letters the kids write gives the dialogue an extra punch making finding the letters very entertaining. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best mobile game I’ve played in a while. When I found out Puppet Combo turned Nun Massacre into an app I had to download it. I was so in love with the gameplay, aesthetic, and ambience I spent pretty much my whole day getting the different endings on extreme mode. I strongly recommend this game to anyone who’s up for a challenge or even just a quick scare. Good luck😈

I played this with friends and we took turns after we all died we took turns, this port is amazing its a couple of glitches but it makes the game funner and funnier, I think you should port Christmas Massacre, Night Watch, or Murder House you dont have to do all but I think you should those were good games I thought of!

Came from TikTok after seeing some gameplay, was not expecting it to be scary but was genuinely surprised. The VHS style really adds to the whole “lost footage” and unsettling atmosphere. Side note: Really like the groovy intro screen for your company at the beginning of the game, I’m a fan of the retro aesthetic. Looking forward to see what you put out next Puppet Combo.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I get ads out of no where and sometimes it gives me one when I’m near her but it doesn’t stop or pause the game I’m fine with the ads but I wish it would pause the game when it gives me one because she is still able to kill me when the ad comes

I love this style game, and I love Puppet Combo’s work. This game can feel similar to the infamous “Granny” series, but most mobile horror game these days are similar to Granny. This game has a terrifying atmosphere and a terrifying killer. This is honestly one of the scariest games I have played in a long time. This game is definitely a master piece, a master piece more people should experience.

Been a fan of this game since CoryxKenshin played it. Easily got scared playing this and so did my friend and she’s very hard to scare.. My friend and i though found a bug where she can’t kill you while you’re crouching and she just follows you. Still a fantastic game nonetheless i just wish this is fixed :))

I just really want more puppet combo games on iOS iPad and everything else! I want to be a gamer and if I could play these games it would be a really good start so puppet combo if you see this I really want you to put all of your games on iOS iPad and everything else I really enjoy your games! OK this game is really good but it’s hard and I like hard scary games which is great but this game is scary but I’d recommend it to people who like scary and hard games and and also like to say to maybe do it on easy first just that you can find like the lighter and the rock and just some items anyway yeah bye

I’m very impressed with this game!, There’s only one issue I have; I absolutely hate touch controls with everything I have :( I got this game to play, at work, during my down-time. And was a little disappointed when my controller didn’t work with it. But, if I ever see that fixed, I’ll be back with a full five stars!

The whole game is overall very similar to the puppet combo one. Everything here functions well just how it was in the puppet combo one. Though, there is one error that prevents you from getting the good ending. In the jumping part, there is a invisible wall that prevents you to go through. I would have rated this 5 stars but i guess not.

Love you Puppet Combo. The game itself is great, but the devs did a poor job at integrating the ads. Sometimes The Nun will find me while an ad plays, and she’ll just sit there blaring her sound effects over the ad’s audio while I can’t do anything about it. It would be nice if The Nun could de-spawn while the ads play and/or make it so the ads only start while you are hiding. I will definitely update this review (if possible) when the devs fix this.

love this game so much very challenging so it makes the game last longer jus hate that the ads pop up randomly without warning and the game don’t pause while the ad is on lost multiple lives bc of it 😔

I never knew the games was on mobile until I got curious and searched it up but 5/5 game I hope that more puppet combo games come out on mobile. But I have one question how do I sprint on controller I pressed every button and I can’t find out how

I loved playing this game, very fun and scary… but when I went to show my friends a few months later, I saw they had to purchase it… Did I purchase it and just forgot, or was it free at one point but maybe just had ads…

I give it a four because the CONTROLS the CONTROLS are terrible I really wish they could make a option where u could change button size of the moving stick but overall this game is terrifying and gives me nightmares one of the best psychological games out there yeah that’s my review🙌

This is a great game, I love it but the problem is random ads keep showing up. I was on the ending but I didn’t get to see it cause an ad pop up. Even when I’m getting chased by the nun a random ad shows up and gets me killed.

I am a huge fan of puppet combos games and especially Nun Massacre and I was really excited to hear that it was on mobile. I hopped straight into it! The controls were extremely confusing and you can’t even run. You just really walk instead of run from the Nun herself! And so it makes the game a lot more unenjoyable as it isn’t that scary then.

I love this game so much and it is so fun but it isn’t 5 stars for 1 reason. It’s kinda hard to jump because you have the double tap the screen and u think it would be better to have a jump button. Other than that I love this game and it is perfect.

I love this game, I’ve always wanted to play a puppet combo game ever since I watched one of coryxkenshins videos playing babysitter bloodbath you should definitely consider adding more games on mobile like the night ripper I’ve been wanting to play that game forever, 5 stars

This game is actually freaking scary, once I played this at like 2 in the morning and when I heard and saw that glitching, I knew it was over…,anyways if you guys have the chance, please make a chapter 2 or another mobile vhs game!

The controls are a bit odd, especially while using a physical controller. The “grab” option doesn’t do anything while using a controller. A “customize controls” option would be great.

Nun massacre is very well made and one of the most terrifying ones, some endings are goofy and don’t make sense, but i still enjoyed it and looked forward for anymore games coming to moblie like murder house or something

Honestly after watching my favorite YouTuber Coryxkenshin play this game on his computer.I didn’t think they would have this on mobile devices cause I thought it was just fan made. But this is a great game and very scary. The Jumpscares are top tier.

I love this game because I watched CoryXKenshin play this and I’ve been dying to play this but I couldn’t get it on my computer but now…I can get it! And plus I’m so in love with puppet combos style. Like- Slasher/horror: I love! VHS retro: I LOVE!!! I give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and hopefully puppet combo adds more games like; the Christmas massacre, glass staircase, power drill massacre and babysitter bloodbath! OH and maybe murder house! Puppet Combo is the foremost retro style horror game developer is the world. All Puppet Combo games are terrifying in their own right but the nun massacre reigns supreme. You would think a mobile port would be bad or lack quality in comparison to the pc ports, however, this port is fantastic! Download it and give it a try!

I love this this is by far my fav out of all because of how hard it is but I need you guys to add at least Christmas massacre I love that one to please add more I’m literally addicted to your games😅

Im getting annoyed with the double tap jump because when i go to my inventory to click on something i have to click twice in order for it to switch and then i jump causing me to get annoyed. I also want to be able to sprint. Other than that the game is pretty ok

I’ve been a huge fan of Puppet Combo since Power Drill Massacre, and this is an excellent port of a great game. My only issue with it, which also happens to be in the PC version, is that you can stay crouched and you won’t take damage from the nun.
