Even though this is a brand-new bank, it already has a superior UX when compared to other online banks, like Axos. Obviously, I love the values this bank pushes, no need to further elaborate on this. That being said, I do think the UX has a lot of room for improvement if the bank wishes to be on par with the likes of Wealthfront or SoFi. Both of which are some of the smoothest in the online banking game. I would also like to see the “card manager” app consolidated into the Old Glory Bank app. It is completely unnecessary to have a totally separate app just for managing a debit card, also it wastes phone storage space. I hope to see brokerage services added to the in-app ecosystem in the future so that I can trade stocks via Old Glory, a feature Wealthfront/SoFi already offer. Since this is turning into an ‘advisory-wishlist’, it would be great to see Old Glory add a HYSA option rather than the stereotypical low-yield savings account that no one cares for... P.S. Maybe consider revamping your logo/app icon to something sleeker. And, update your website so it has a more fluid advanced feel, look to Wealthfront, CashApp, Robinhood, Vero, SoFi, etc for inspiration. Can't wait to see what is in store for this glorious company!
It was so easy to transfer my money from Wells Fargo, you can actually have your current bank attached to your Old Glory account so you can transfer and see your other account all from the Old Glory App. I could not believe how easy it was to set up my account with Old Glory. The customer service is superb. I also have a peace that my money can NEVER be touched by the government. I kept Wells Fargo only because my son is on it and I can transfer money to his account, otherwise I would not even have that account )I keep the wells fargo account empty unless I need to transfer money to him for college) I encourage everyone to switch, it’s easy and definitely worth it. I do not ever worry about my money. Bill pay is very easy and THERE IS NO LIMITS ON TRANSFERRING YOUR MONEY BETWEEN YOUR SAVINGS AND CHECKING, 6 times a month transfers do not exist with Old Glory Bank.
Do you ever ask yourself "why, oh WHY do I keep putting up with these institutions that do nothing but rob me blind and how do they get away with it?!?" Well that used to be me but ever since I've been using Old Glory, I am pleasantly surprised time and time again. When I see all the features this bank has for their customers I look forward to using my Old Glory debit card and to the day I can cut my Chase card in half!! I just switched my direct deposit from Chase to Old Glory Bank!! Thank you Old Glory for all your doing to help Americans and our beloved Veterans!
I had a really long review going and I got out of the App Store for a bit and it erased everything. In short, the rating stands for now, and is subject to go either up or down.. my guess, it could only go up, God willing. I understand it will take time to build and create an innovative app from the right side of life. So, here’s a couple of ideas that come from other banks: Ally bank has the “buckets” feature that can concentrate savings like a virtual piggy bank for a variety of purposes. I think something like that would be useful in Old Glory’s budget feature. Chase Rewards. Chase Rewards you for spending, and gives you points for giving them more money 💰 in their pocket thanks to their credit cards… let’s flip that around and reward with a points feature for Old Glory members that reach their financial goals in savings. It don’t have to be much, but enough to create a change in spending habits, and help your members get to their American Dream. Last but not least, investments. Pretty soon the app and conservative marketplace PublicSq is going to go public and into the New York Stock Exchange.. boy, is that exciting for conservatives! I do not want to miss out on the opportunity of investing in a company that holds to the same values that I have and that you have. Partner with PublicSq, if possible, to help growth, but definitely we need to invest! 🇺🇸🙏🏻🥳
This app has worked great for me and with best security. This bank has been trustworthy in protecting my identity and protecting my finances. They put a little percentage in as well to help build your finances. I’ve never experienced that before with any bank. My suggestion would be to try this bank. You will be glad you did.
I was truly excited about what I had read and heard of this bank. So I opened a new account, downloaded the app, and even set my online acct up so I could fund it. But, less than twenty four hours after doing so, access online to my acct was temporarily disabled. During the course of almost three weeks, was told repeatedly by customer service associates that the tech folks would fix it . Id receive a call and email. After the third week, I called again to be told by associate that they were told by superior to hang up call immediately with me . So no thanks old glory Bank., I don’t feel the need to be devalued and disrespected like that by anyone
There were some bugs in the beginning, but my patience paid off. Even though I don’t have a local branch to deposit cash with, Old Glory’s bank card works just fine in Washington state. I eagerly await the option to write personal checks.
Great, honest, trustworthy and patriotic standards
This Bank is amazing in comparison to Bank of America. Transfering money from within the USA from another USA based Bank or even from a foreign Bank is quick, easy and very low to zero costs. I recommend this Bank over any other!
So far, the "shifting money around" features have been trouble-free... but I have never, since day one, been able to download a statement from this bank (it complains of a "browser" problem, even in the app). Additionally, it keeps notifying me that I need to update it and delete a companion app, when the companion app is long gone and this app is up to date with the App Store version. The bank is unresponsive to these issues when reported.
The Old Glory Bank app is easy to use. When using the app, I experience NO problems loading the different accounts or performing any transactions. Keep the good work up!
This Bank Rocks, and not just cuz of John Rich! The interest on Savings accounts is the best I’ve seen and I have 2 other credit union accounts which were pretty decent. The app is great to makes it easy to manage my money.
I have had many bank accounts over the years. I find this one to be the most convenient and the most useful. The fact that they stand strong and stand patriotic is a super bonus.
When I can customer support I get a trained professional to help answer my questions. I conclude my call content and satisfied. Love Old Glory and glad I made the change.
Easy to use app from a really solid bank. Great online banking interface. Old Glory is a newer bank but they are bringing additional features and services at a rapid pace.
Look, I want to open an account with you. Really! But I have two main issues before I do. 1. You advertise yourself as using cutting edge tech, yet you have THREE separate apps: banking, cards, and pay. Why?? Look at Capital One’s app as an example of a high-tech, smooth, excellent interface that combines everything into one seamless app. 2. Get Zelle! It’s must-use tech for a modern bank, and many (including myself) will not use a checking account without it. Fix these issues and you’ll start to get more of the younger crowd looking to get awake from woke banks.
I love the app, except for the fact that it is difficult to deposit a check through the app. This needs to be fixed. Otherwise I would give it a five star rating.
Problem with app opening to someone else website for past 2 days. Opening screen does not have a menu. Speaking to a human being is almost impossible. When the app works it is GREAT! When you finally speak to a human they a Fantastic. When you do get to speak with someone they are eager friendly and knowledgeable FANTASTIC!
Camera check deposit wouldn’t work a week or so ago. Then when I went to log in tonight first page is a SIXTY TWO PAGE terms of service document with no “accept” button Deleted app and reinstalled, now the accept button is at bottom after scrolling through SIXTY TWO page TOS (was there a save to PDF button)? Then reregistered device. Is there tracking on this? I was about to make OGB my direct deposit, now not so sure.
It’s nice to know that my retirement money is safe and sound with Old Glory. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Transferring to Old Glory was a great decision.
Old Glory Bank's mobile banking application allows you to check balances, transfer funds, view transactions and check messages from anywhere, anytime. It’s fast, free and available to all of our online banking users.
