These guys have been with me through the high’s and the way low’s. It’s like any good relationship: communicate with them and 9.5/10…there’s a resolution. Even when you have so much going on, you mess around and DON’T do your part by calling and letting someone know: there’s still a way to make things right. They want to keep us as customers. I’ve been with these folks for 6 years, I think? Like I said, there’s been some lean times in my life and they reassure me and have always been able to help me. Thank you guys so much. I love y’all. I’m not a fan of change but I’ll get over myself, lolz 😂
I open up this app every few days to verify my savings and checking. It takes a few seconds and I don't have to worry about referring to my account manager. I no longer have to go to my local Pen Air bank to transfer funds from my minor savings to my minor checking. And now that it supports IOS widgets, I can check my funds without even opening the app. If you have an account with Pen Air, download this app.
This app is possibly the worst mobile app I've ever used, yes if you have one account it will work relatively well however if you have multiple accounts that need to be accessed on a regular basis this is horrible. If they do not fix this app in the next month I may be forced to find a new financial institution. Update They helped the problem when they added the eye feature so I could at least open two of my accounts without remembering long passwords. Now that they have done away with this I'm back to trying to remember all my logins and passwords. Please please go back to the four number passwords or allow the user to pick which account they would like to access and then use the fingerprint to access that one. Also the widget only works for one account, doesn't help when you have two personal and two business accounts.
… credit unions became absolutely no different from banks. Edit: response to developer: Pen Air keeps sending me emails asking me to give feedback. They want to know if they’re doing enough for me, as a member. But then they pull this crap. They deliberately leave certain members behind, blame the members for their own corporate-level elitism, and tell their members ‘tough luck’. Are they doing enough for me as a member? Not even close. *** Why does my credit union feel the need to try to bully me into buying a new phone? Do they have some sort of down-low deal with the phone companies? Do all app makers? Maybe, instead of restricting people who are smart enough with their money to not replace a perfectly functional phone they like with an overpriced one that they don’t like just because it’s “old”, maybe continue to allow even your frugal members continue to access their accounts on their “dinosaur phones”. Three stars because I can still use the app, as of now. But I can no longer update it and will eventually no longer be able to use it. I’m not happy. ALL members should be important and not have access unduly restricted. Not just trendy ones who properly keep up with the Jones’.
The mobile app worked so well until this past month. I use the quick balance widget on iOs to display my account balances on my screen without having to login and for the last month it has not worked. It says you need to login and enable quick balance but I have always had it enabled. I even have gone into the app and reenabled it, yet it still doesn’t work anymore and says it’s needs to be enabled. Other than that I’m overall pleased with the app, the quick balance is such a convenient feature to have when it actually works.
I’m happy with my bank app. Easy to use, I’m not app friendly. I have little to know problems. The one problem I had I called the bank and they walked me right through it. I have also caught two mistakes that saved me money on my account. I check my account every time I use my card.
Your app fulfills my business needs very effectively. It has been nearly 100% everything I want from my banking institution. I especially like that I can see balances throughout my searches when I look at my withdrawals and deposits!!
I don’t see options to request a new debit card or freeze one, or even check the status. Regular Credit card controls look like it’s there. App is ok, loads fairly reliably. Penair as a institution is circling the drain. If you’re in the area of service that Penair offers just about any other credit union would serve you better. Whoever runs the bank is more concerned about gentrification of downtown, the wahoos and building a new HQ on nine mile.
This Credit Union has been stand up for me since day one, I left a major bank to become part of this institution. If whomever reads this just check my appreciation and praise has been stated, also please acknowledge the people I have talked to as their names are saved in our conversations. Thanks again
I currently do not like the new bill pay layout. Do not feel it’s user friendly or yield information that the previous version did that was helpful when doing my bills BUT am hopeful that my opinion will change w/time
I make my truck payment every two weeks and always pay more than required. It would be nice to see an up to date amortization chart after each payment is made.
I have a love/hate relationship with his APP. I love that I can quickly log in & see my banking information. I HATE that I get an “important notification” and log in just to find out that it’s just a cash back offer. Really? I tried updating my notifications and guess what? No way to turn this feature off. Please turn off the “important notifications” to things I determine important.
My only complaint about the app is I liked the old quick view option better that was located in the widget section on iPhone. It was much quicker and convenient. Please replace this option.
I love this app! I can check balances, transfer money & pay bills no matter where I am. I also like how you can see your balance in real time when you use your debit card & set alerts to let you know when a large transaction is made.
I love the service, but hate the new logo. It’s awful. I thought about changing banks because of it. I can’t believe a group of people would vote on that as the banks logo. Is there another card I can get without that ugly logo ?
Hey guys When i open the app it just freezes on the logo screen. Sometimes it will work for a day or two with a hard boot but it is rare Thanks and love the app
I love this app, however, there are times when I try to open it and all I get is a screen with their logo on it. I have to delete the app, send to the cloud, and reupload it. It happens often enough that it’s really starting to irritate me. I don’t know if it’s my phone or the app. 😠
For the last few weeks the app has been crashing and telling me that my information can not be displayed at this time and to please try again later... Today it will let me get to different phases of the app before displaying this message then crashing... Please update it STAT
Loads fast and has all the data I need. I use other apps as well, Amex and Chase and this one I love the most for an occasional overview. Thank you, Pen Air devs and designers for build a great UI/UX.
This app cannot accept mobile check deposits. The app cannot recognize endorsement, despite previous versions having no issue. Somehow, the functionality was broken. Multiple iPhones and iPads have all exhibited the same issue. Calling Pen Air directly could not resolve anything, as the employees were unaware of the issue and unable to do anything to resolve it. This is an embarrassment of an application.
As of today I cannot see my credit card transactions in the app. It directs me to the website where looking at my transactions is more difficult. The rep stated the features were updated but this update made the app worse. Please restore the ability to see my credit card transactions in the app.
App could be designed a lot better. Pen Air should get with technology and make the interface a little bit better to use. The software is just not designed well and I feel like I’m using a version from 2005
Why.? Why fruit up something that wasn’t broke? Ugh APP still works, so I guess I can only deduct one star for silly rebranding. What exactly IS that symbol anyway? Looks like an upside down Christmas Tree….. sigh
It used to be nice and just enter a passcode to get in then you updated the app and now we have to enter the full password. Is that really helping the security? It’s draining. And where are the Jets on the credit cards? It is Pensacola
I’ve been a longtime PenAir user, and I’ve had a great experience with the app. However recently, it’s been unfavorable because access to depositing checks via the app was denied. I’m not sure why, and I’m not so sure on how to go about fixing it. Anyone ever had that issue before?
Love love love. This app makes it super easy to do my banking. I am currently living in Wisconsin for school and I love that I am able to keep penair as my bank even though I am not in the area anymore.
THIS APP WORKED PERFECTLY UNTIL THE LAST UPDATE!! Now every time I try to transfer money or check my account I get an error message. If it’s not broke STOP fixing it!!!
I love being able to check my accounts and transfer money. However, I get an error message way too often and it’s simply aggravating!!! Especially when I need to transfer money in a hurry and I get “application error” and my accounts won’t show up. Please please fix this issue. I have an iPhone X.
Down for maintenance too often. Pending charges don’t add up to available balances, transfers aren’t always instant and overall not as polished as banking apps for larger companies.
It’s fine when it works, but sometimes I’ll log on and it will say “no valid accounts” which makes me think something happened. Please fix the bugs! There is always something wrong with this app.
I used to love this app soo much but then they changed the way the app looks. It was so much easier to navigate purchases in the old version. This one is not user friendly and everyone that I know who has this app has agreed. Change it back please :(
