You pay money and it stops working?

Kind of frustrating. Tried the free week and liked it. Since it’s only a few seconds unless you upgrade I decided to upgrade. Just payed for a few months and went to login and now it won’t let me connect or see anything. Literally worked a few minutes ago. Guess I won’t know how she’s doing today. Hopefully will tomorrow.

Horrendous customer service

For some reason the app was not working even when I had the two devices next to each other and on the same WiFi. When I contacted support they told me there is nothing wrong with the app. Clearly something was wrong! The person I spoke to was rude and made it to be my fault... I was able to get it working about an hour later but clearly the app isn’t stable. It was working fine until I purchased the 6 month subscription... literally and hour later the app stopped working..unable to connect. When it did connect it wouldn’t stay connected for more than 5 secs like the free version. Just overall frustrating

Disconnecting...

I’m having the same issues as everyone else. Quickly set this up to watch my new puppy while I was at work. It worked as I was on my way to work. Quick check at lunch time and it couldn’t connect. I assumed my laptop screensaver messed it up so I fixed that issue this morning. Not even 10 minutes away from my home and it’s already disconnected. 🙄 Extremely unreliable. There are other apps I’ve used (couldn’t find in a rush) where it used one device and worked for an entire weekend without disconnecting. Will be deleting and finding a different solution.

DO NOT BUY

Do not buy this app. It does not work. I gave it 2 chances on 2 occasions. I went away for the weekend twice and the app worked 30% of the time. The rest of the time it was a spinning wheel and I could not see my video, even on strong WiFi signal. It does not do the one thing it is supposed to do and I had anxiety over not being able to see my cat and home while away. I have requested a refund and will never use it again. Update: see defensive response from company. I was denied a refund. Judging by the hundreds of other poor reviews I am not alone in my frustration. Test

Super app!

Good choice for me. I?m the owner of a rescue pup with separation anxiety which is understandable. I was upset to leave him at home alone and I knew that he would bark and whine for a little while when I left. In search for a way to check up on him, I stumbled across Petcam app and it has been a lot better ever since I started using it.

10/10 do not recommended

I’m not sure why, but this app has been the least reliable app I’ve ever used. I was constantly having to close out the app and reopen it each time I wanted to see my dog, and often was never even able to get the app to work long enough to check on him or talk to him because it would lose connection so quickly. Some days it would be fine, and other in the exact same area wouldn’t work at all. Try something else. Only use this as a final resort if no other app works. Or maybe if seeing your dog isn’t urgent.

Terrific service offered!

Other interesting features of the include low battery notifications and the ability to multiple pets to monitor and multiple owners so that you share the burden of monitoring your pet with other members of your family

Pet cam not linking devices

So I set up two devices, offering a same network and then tried one running off of cellular. Now I’m an hour and we haven’t seen miss you as I’m having a they’re not connecting to each other buff up open up there to the nearest update latest version. still no no video of you coming through on on the receiving side and which device I’m using is not getting the video from the receiving from sending unit. It looks like a great app simple easy use and set up is not difficult at all. I would give it a rating but unfortunately it did not work correctly for me. I can’t read it because my writing would be biased at this point in time because again the apples are you be great at everything seems to be in place for it to be a great app My Spectrum I couldn’t get to link my device together and I did some troubleshooting and ran a bug report. I couldn’t find any issues on my end that would cause it to not work correctly so it’s gonna be a software issue somewhere. Unfortunately I got Time play. I need a count working by tomorrow so if you wanna get fixed, feel free to hit me up with an email and let me know.

Don’t waste your money!

Bought the one month subscription and the app doesn’t work. It’ll connect once a day and after I close app after checking one time, it won’t connect to the device your using as your per station camera (tried on IPad and MacBook Pro). Canceled before they charged *Update: view response below from their customer service team. Passive aggressive response will definitely help get your rating up. Not gonna waste my time contacting you when that’s the response you’re going to come out the gate with.

It actually works

When my dog made noise, I would speak to him through the app. He would hear my commands and would stop. After a week of daily use, he is doing much better. Check out the newly added landscape mode as well Thank you for this great app!

Terrible

No other word to describe my experience other than terrible. Downloaded the app on both my iPad and iPhone. iPad worked fine when I opened it but didn’t really need it there other than to have turned on from my phone to check my dog. iPhone app would not work at all. Stuck on the same loading page for several minutes every time I tried. I tried removing the app and reinstalling to no success. Don’t waste your time people it’s a waste. Plenty of better options.

Dog lovers everywhere are thankful

I seriously love this app! I always leave my dogs with a relative but despite that I still worry about what goes on behind closed doors. So this pet cam app really gives me closure, because it acts as a dog monitor. I definitely recommend pet lovers other there to download this pet cam.

Well designed app

My little cat has separation anxiety due to multiple surgeries when he was little. Now I can see whether he is doing ok or not. So this app has literally changed my life and for such a low price. Thank you!

I love this app!

It's easy to use and I can watch my dog when I'm away from home. I also love the ability to record and play back my voice to ask them to eat or drink. Well worth a try!

I downloaded PetCamApp on the Phone of my fiancee so she could monitor the behavior of her dog when she's away, and this app does exactly what it promises to. It's fast and easy to use, and it could have many other uses. Very good one

Perfect app

I installed this app for my pet cat, but my pet cat doesn't like it and won't let me record its video. However, the two-way audio support is still useful when I need to call it back.

Scam after trial period

After the trial period - this all will give you only 5sec of view time, and when you upgrade to the paid plan - it still won’t work. It takes forever to connect, even in the trial period. And there is no reliable way to contact app developers to fix these issues. BAD purchase

It hasn’t disappointed me even once.

I’m pleased with the quality of this application. Oh my goodness, this app is amazing!! I am very impressed. it allows me to have some peace of mind while I leave my puppy crated!!

Waste of time

I’m not sure if I’m having problems because I’m using my desktop computer with built in camera as my Pet Station. But I paid for the premium version of this app...it only works the first 10-15 min before disconnecting. I’ve turned off my screen saver and sleep mode on the desktop so there is no reason it should be not working.

PetCam App is great app to monitor my pet.

I can watch my dog from anywhere and anytime. I also love the two-way audio support, which allows me to talk to my pet when I'm away from home.

Terrible app

I downloaded and paid for the one month and I was not able to use only for a few minutes while I was on the same network with both iPad and iPhone. Left and only able to see the loading circle and 2hrs passed by and never gave me a live image of my pet. Terrible experience so I requested a refund

Frustrated

I paid for the upgrade for a month to try it out, but it won't let me stream past the 10 second trial. I've restarted both services, checked my internent connection, tried it multiple times. Frustrated! I want my money back since I wasn't able to get the service I paid for!

Works intermittently

After a lot of trouble shooting, I’m deciding the app isn’t worth the frustration. Just when I’m worried my dog may need some persuasion to not chew on something, I can’t connect or the video drops. I can’t even use this to go to the gym around the corner from home.

The app is soo useful for my dog. This Pet cam app is very good dog monitor app. This petcamapp is too much needed for everyone who have pets & who love their pets. & i m obviously in love with this pet

Can’t get it to work

Despite having a strong Wi-Fi signal I been trying for 2 days and can’t get the video feed to connect. Very disappointing. It would have been perfect if it worked as advertised.

Dog monitor

This app has been great to use as a dog monitor. My dog is home alone during the day and the app has helped for safety.

Upgrade

It keeps telling me I need to upgrade to see longer footage of my dog but every time I hit upgrade it won’t allow me to and takes it back to the main screen

Terrible

I’ve had the app less than a day, and it worked for me once. WHEN it works- it’s great, but that’s rare. Put some time into the app if you want it to work. Save your time and look elsewhere

Bad execution

Primitive app. Poor quality. Wouldn’t wake my iPad up from sleeping when I wanted to check in on my dog. It’s worth it to pay the $5 of the more popular apps.

Scam
