Good, but misleading

The app works fine but I don’t feel like paying so much for a translation app is reasonable. However I also originally downloaded the app for one thing and it was to translate a photo of something in Korean. And I assumed that they have Korean since it’s literally on the app thumbnail. However when I go to try it doesn’t detect anything, so I try going to the language and changing it to Korean, and it’s not even on there. And it’s fine if they can’t have every language but it’s extremely misleading to have it be one of two alphabets in the thumbnail. Also the fact they have languages like Icelandic and not Korean? Icelandic is not very spoken even to the people who live there. But Korean is spoken by over 50 million people, I feel like it’s not a very sensible choice of languages. Besides all of that it works fine though.

Not worth it unless you’re paying

Very disappointing. I read often, and I tend come across the occasional character that speaks in different languages. it is quite bothersome to type it out so I was hoping to use the camera translator. I did not realize that you have a very limited amount of scans (see 3 maximum scans) unless you are paying for it. I don’t want to have to pay to understand what I’m reading.

It’s okay but…

It doesn’t seem fair that there are so many photo limits. Plus, how do you clear your translation history? Other than that, it’s fine. I just need an answer.

It's a disgusting translator, after translating certain things it asks you to pay monthly to be able to translate and as an extra they supposedly can translate with the camera and with a photo etc. when other translator applications do that and more totally free.

Useless Subscription Feature

Why does this app have another useless feature to make us pay for a premium. This app is suppose to help not get our money wasted on something we need. Not worth the money.

I don’t like this

Okay so, I took a photo and it was a bit messy. I tried to retake it, but I couldn't. I needed to buy something and I don’t like wasting money. 🙃 I want the photo to be FREE. I understand that it might take some time. I am sorry but I am not downloading this again!

I literally just got this app and I took one picture and it said I reached the “daily limit” and it said i needed to pay if I wanted more pictures and I was just like 🫤😐😶I was so mad I deleted immediately and I suggested you should too

Why call it photo translate

If ur not going to allow the use oh photo translating unless you pay dont call it photo translate its just a translater with a paid feature add on that lets u use the camera to translate …>:(

Waste of time

You gotta pay to unlock certain languages. And even then the camera translator won’t work with so many of them. Waste of time.

Only 3 “free” transnationals then $10 after👎🏽👎🏽

I give one star because it’s kind of sad you only get three or two times a day “free” to translate and then over priced options next!!

Don’t use this app

I can’t do any thing without having to buy something. I am going to Portugal soon. I guess I won’t be using this app to translate. This app is money hungry.

Absolute garbage

The app is advertised as a photo translator but you only get to scan 1 photo a day if you don’t buy their overpriced subscription, don’t download this app.

Listen here, I bought this because I thought you can upload a picture of a language and it will translate, TURNS OUT, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR TAKING A STUPID LITTLE PHOTO AND TRANSLATE IT. WHAT KIND OF APP IS THIS? This is stupid and I hate it. Some problems, 1. When I press a button to translate, it says the same stupid thing. For example, I put 'sorry' in japanese it still turns out in 'sorry' it doesn't translate the freaking word. 2. Why put the app title as "Photo Translator" if you cant even take a gosh darn photo and translate it, its a freaking annoying thing. 3. It wastes a BUNCH of time. Mostly everything is wrong with this stupid annoying app. I don't recommend it for people. Its a waste of time and its a lie, you have to PAY $40 FOR ONE STUPID APP? THATS FRICKING MESSED UP.
