I’m appalled by all of the terrible reviews, yet no one from PFCU has responded or done anything to help customers. I’ve always loved banking with you, but those days are long gone. I used to belong to AZ Central along with Pima Federal. My husband and I were hesitant to merge our accounts and I now wish I never had. I made the mistake of closing my AZ Central CU accounts in favor of PFCU. That was a huge mistake on my part. I should’ve stuck with AZ Central and close my account at PimaFCU. In this day and age there’s no excuse for what appears to be terrible programming errors. Whoever came up with the changes should be fired along with your entire IT Dept. If you’re not responsible because you subcontracted an IT company, fire them at once and find a replacement company that knows how to program and run a banking app. Nothing is user friendly and the list of inadequacies is too long to type. Have some compassion for your customers and dump this app and create a new one. I’ve worked with multiple banks and credit Unions for many years as I’m an accountant. This app is pure rubbish and needs to be trashed. Please read the reviews and listen to what people are telling you! Fix your mistakes before all of your customers close their accounts.
My card was declined twice and I have money in my account and have had no communication from PF. I called the lost and stolen card dept and they can’t help me. I called and there is no one to talk to about this after 5pm. In the meantime I guess my children won’t eat. Holding my money hostage without any communication by phone, email or text about blocking my card is simply unacceptable. Even if this is a fraud issue, which the lost card dept could not see anything happening on, the minimum expectation would be some kind of communication; a phone call, an email or a text, maybe a letter? I hadn’t used my card since 3/13 so even a letter could have reached me by now. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Service has steadily been going down hill. This has happened to me while traveling as well but I’m not traveling right now. It’s Very disappointing let alone inconvenient. Color me: Looking for a new financial institution.
I have to say I never write reviews but this app changed so much I had to. I am so upset by this version and you’d think that if every member has been calling since the release of this app they’d change it back but no. We can’t message pima anymore we have to call it’s annoying and no one has the time to wait 2-3 hours to maybe get their situation resolved. I would like a dark mode cause if I open the app in the store everyone from a 10 foot radius can see exactly how much I have in all my accounts. I miss when I could scroll through my accounts not have them blasted for the world to see. I also miss the search bar and being able to see pending transactions and similar transactions as well. I just miss the old app please bring it back.
I have never had any other banking experience besides Pima Federal, mainly because how amazing it used to be as a client of theirs. Sadly, now you can never even get a hold of them, you’ll be on the phone for hours or more. Online deposits used to take just an hour or two, but now they take a few days. Tried going in today to just deposit the check directly but was told that it will give me fees & issues since I’ve already tried to do this online, and basically nothing they can do. I have been beyond dissatisfied with them recently when I used to sing their praise. Sad. :(
This is the worst app update I’ve ever seen in my life it honestly makes me want to switch banks, and PFCU, I am on the verge of doing so!!! Why fix what’s not broken. The large adds on the top of the home page are so ugly I can’t stand them, and just the whole layout is so ugly. Not to mention adding zelle was so stupid, I can’t even send money instantly, people are having to wait 5 business days. Totally defeats the point of zelle 🙄. And no pull down to refresh?? & the logging everyone out of their account was so annoying I was on hold everyday for 4 days like seriously? Worst update ever I hate it.
Did the team not want to go through the process of testing their “new, improved online banking experience”, or am I missing something? This iOS application reeks of complacency. No compatibility testing or proper error handling. Application is so broken that it barks about screen resolution, allowing popups, enabling cookies, and a different browser on an iOS device (??). This needs to go back to the drawing board, and maybe take notes of the previous “working” version.
Honestly this app is garbage, I absolutely loved the previous one. No dark mode so it’s absolutely over bright when you open the app. Plus I make a purchase and it takes absolutely forever to update and transferring money from savings to checking is more complicated now. I’m actually considering going to another bank just because of this new app because I do almost everything on the app
I liked having the ability to switch between logins without having to fully log out and back in and remember all the codes and etc. liked the layout and functions of the last app. You need to add back some of the old features so that it is user friendly to people with multiple accounts.
We are new members coming over from a major bank and just love the simplicity of the credit union. I actually worked for the NCUA years ago and missed the credit union environment. Mike V
I haven’t been able to use the app for over a week now. Every time I get on it only says “application error”. What was the point of making a new app IF NOBODY CAN USE IT. This is seriously stupid. A lot of us rely on the app for information in our accounts because we don’t have the time or ability to go to a bank everyday, wait in line, and check. This needs to be fixed soon.
PFCU should be ashamed of themselves for foisting an app like this into their customers. The new layout is terrible, the addition of large ads extremely unwelcome, and the functionality is limited at best. They would have been much better off getting their old app to work with their new system, or at least maintaining what was a decent enough interface.
Please remove excessive data for each transaction listed in accounts. Try to keep deposit or withdrawals simple and basic not added paragraphs for each transaction
Literraly it doesn’t show the amount how much I spent and also it’s not live like the other one they should have the refresh where the transactions are live and fully live he amount that’s given now I’m negative because I thought I had money in my bank which I dont thanks whoever made this app 3/10
This was supposed to be an upgrade from the previous app but so far it has proven to be inconvenient and frustrating. Not even a portion from the check is available right after submitting it (previous app posted $300 right away). My accounts are not linked anymore. Very frustrating indeeed.
The old app was a lot better and way more user friendly I cannot message Pima anymore to ask about transactions or to get support. All accounts that were connected with plaid will not communicate with Pima anymore very disappointed in the new app
I am unable to access my account, even though I know all of my login information is correct. When I choose to reset username/password and send to my email, I receive no email. I’ve done this a handful of times to no success. I see others are having this same issue. What’s going on?
I dont know who is giving this five stars, probably fakes. But this app is so trash. None of my transactions show up I have no idea how much money I actually have. The layout is so much more complicated and ugly. I really want to switch banks now. Why can’t we go back to the other one? :( makes me so upset.
This upgrade is horrible. I enter my credentials and it says they do not match. I have them written down, they are clearly correct. I call and it’s hours on hold to get help. I’ve tried every possible option online to get on and it cannot find my email or phone number. It’s VERY inconvenient.
I like the new UI but the new App/Website has removed all my external transfer accounts. I had to re-configure them but the new UI does not have a way to confirm the two small deposits so I cannot add external accounts for ACH Transfers.I need that ability to make payments and withdraw from my loans.
Having trouble with App. No descriptions or explanations on how to use various functions. Not able to send message/email anyone for assistance. The only option is to find another bank that values customers and provide customer service.
I wouldn’t even give this app 1 star. It’s the worst and I still can’t see any of my account information AND I haven’t been able to talk to anyone because I can’t get through the phones. Not right that I can’t see my accounts or funds.
They forced you to install a new app but didn’t transfer any user data so it’s literally useless. You cannot log in with previous user information Marion and now I have to call my bank this is ridiculous. Whoever had this idea know that I hate you.
The new app is trash, why fix something that isn’t broken and no one can even get access to their own account. This needs to be fixed or they need to switch back to the old app
Old app forced me to install this “upgraded” app - I am now locked out and cannot access anything or get a hold of anyone at PFCU (waited 55 minutes on hold and gave up). This CU revolves around ancient technologies and ways of doing things.. Closing my account tomorrow morning.
I was finally getting a hang of this “New and improved” app but I made the mistake of using the Zelle option….3 BUSINESS DAYS WAIT!? Really!? That defeats the whole purpose for Zelle. Now I can’t use the Zelle app and have to go directly through this ridiculous app. FIX IT!
Ever since a recent mobile banking update they did. This app has been horrific. Leaving me to have to wait for over an hour on hold on the phone just so I can check my account…
I miss the old app and the ease of switching between different account logins. I have multiple accounts with different logins and it’s a pain with this new app.
This new app is a miserable excuse of a banking app. Instead of updating the app that worked perfectly fine, they decided to make a new app THAT DOESNT EVEN FUNCTION
This one is trash! Honestly there was nothing wrong with the last version. This one takes forever to update every transaction I make.. YOU GUYS NEED TO FIX THIS!
