Use our new app and put in your order before you get here, they said. Your order will be ready for pickup. Rarely happens that way. Sometimes they can’t even find the order in the system and I have to give them the order number. The app itself is a little better than the previous version but if you don’t have the exact part number, it’s hit or miss finding what you are looking for.
The previous app was bad and this is just a little better but still no where near where it should be. I say should because they are a huge corp that could sink some money into it. Pricing wont show. Cant see previous orders and when you can, It wont show all of the recent ones. Wont load at all and when it does it gltiches and sends you back to main screen with out showing search query. If search query loads it wont show availability. This app is all over the place.
This app is so bad I stopped using SCP. I get error codes on every item I type in. Most of the time I only get two letters typed in before it glitches out. If I do get the result to auto populate and I tap on the item I am looking for the screen will just go blank. It’s embarrassing to try to look up an item with a customer and the app doesn’t work. This app has been a disaster from the beginning. Updates just cause new issues without solving previous problems. It’s to the point where it is no longer useable.
On top of the awful mobile layout, this is the slowest app that I’ve ever used. It takes twenty seconds to transition between any page. Do better Jesus Christ
I look up part prices throughout the day, and it constantly needs me to re-sign in on a website which takes forever to load. When I just simply wanna look up a part, I shouldn’t have to re-sign in that should automatically be signed into the system that has always been annoying but here lately the last few weeks if I’m looking up some thing and don’t go back on the app for an hour. It will stay on when I was last looking up and I cannot look up anything new. I will have to delete the app and get it again but today has been worthy of a review all day long. I’ve been trying to use the app for prices and look up things that I need out in the field and I open up the app it says login and then it just stays on a solid white screen with nothing on the entire screen. I’ve deleted the app I restarted my phone I can’t get the app to work for anything.
After the most recent update, I am able to log in to the app. It seems to work quite well for me. I am able to find the products I’m searching for, but I would like to see filter functionality. I can’t filter for open orders and I can’t filter for products I’m searching for (ie manufacturer). Time will tell if I end up using this app often or not. I previously scored this app a 1 star as I couldn’t even log in, but now that I can, I’m pretty pleased with what I see. Not sure if it was coincidence, but the reply and fix was released within a couple of days of my review on the App Store (thanks 😁).
Hello! I am writing this review in hopes of something being fixed :) I’ve been using the Pool 360 app for a while now to get prices on parts for customers but one gripe I have with this app that bothers me is the fact that every time I close the app, I am forced to log back into the app and verify my store location. This can take up a lot of time and can be frustrating. Otherwise, I really enjoy the usefulness of this app all together.
Inconsistent and Buggy app takes me 2-3x longer to place orders now.
Search function usually only allows one search and then will not do another search without closing the app. Inability to filter anything when looking for products. Doesn’t filter out non-available items at local branch you have to go to each item to see branch availability. I use the legacy app to find all the items I need then find them in 360 complete the order and then it’s a toss up if I can actually place the order. But you have a bar code scan feature now which is pointless and also crashes the app or does nothing at all. It’s honestly easier to call in the order or just go to the branch and hope everything is in stock. Probably should have figured out all the bugs prior to releasing the new app.
The old Pool360 app had some problems but was 10x better than this new app. I’ve been exploring around this one for a few days now and have concluded that it’s a huge downgrade to the older app. It’s confusing, ugly and freezes more than the last one. Also Seems like this one has less options. Also you shouldn’t have to type in your credentials every time. The only app on my phone that doesn’t auto log in or atleast save your user name. I hope they improve this one or atleast just dump it and let us use the older version.
The old app was bad enough to deal with but at least it kept me signed in for quick price checks and ordering. Having to click the sign in, then watch this app throw up on itself day after day is one of the most infuriating parts of owning a pool business. I’m seriously considering shopping at your competitors from now on just so I don’t have to deal with this god awful app. If I could throw this app into the sun I would. For a company worth 14 billion dollars you’d think they could come up with better tools for their customers.
