I am very happy with this service. I have friends with other digital business cards and this one is the best for sure. The NFT items are key in the simplicity to share my contact card without my phone and I love the fact that the recipient can send me their contact info when they capture mine. (My favorite NFT item is my bracelet, and I may decide to get the Apple Watch band if the bracelet ends up being my go-to device.) One of the biggest perks is adding files to my contact card. I work in medical device sales and there are certain infographics that MDs, techs, and nurses are always asking for. Now they can have a quick link associated with me to reference it all! I have Popl Pro+ which is convenient when i want to share my personal info versus my professional card, so being able to toggle back and forth if needed is something I have been wanting. Update: The CEO himself reached out and showed there is a way to edit lead gen form on dash website. 5 stars. This is a great tool. I’m a military recruiter and we just received the card for our state. I setup my profile and tested it out right away. Its been just a few days and I’ve already ordered a phone card and the ID badge for when I go into schools. The only way it could be better is to be able to customize the info people push to you as a connection. I don’t care so much about an email, but would rather have things like name, age, phone #, and school if a student, for example. Company they’re with, etc doesn’t really apply. I’m sure other companies would love to customize these targeted questions as well instead of asking them to put them in notes.
The first few days have been impressive! The app is very easy to use and your profile takes less than 30 minutes to have running. There’s a decent amount of flexibility if you’re willing to dig to the next level, though don’t expect a Wix style website. The experience on the other side is pleasing and delightfully simple, though there’s some things that aren’t clear. For example, on the lead capture mode it doesn’t appear to remember someone I’ve already met when they scan the QR in my wallet app. So if I’m at an event collecting pops from people I have no way of remembering if I’ve met that person already at a previous event. I expect that most people under the age of 30 who grew up with smart phones the contact form, the location permission, and the request to download the app will be a quick and easy click because we’re accustomed to it. But for others who haven’t had as much experience with smart phones, anything beyond the contact form could be frustrating and annoying. Overall a 4/5 for an easy setup and a really nice presentation on the customer facing side. Some things could be a tad simpler for the customer who’s tapping (at least remove the download request and put it in the text they get instead). It could also be a little easier to rearrange the icons on my page rather than the drag and drop list.
Curate information better and I’ll love it even more
I just downloaded this app and I like it but wish it was a bit more compartmentalized. There are only two options for personal and business and I have two completely different businesses that I would like to promote along with my personal information. I would like a separate photo for each section to represent my personal information and my two businesses. Currently you only get one logo option along with one page header image that shows up for both sections. That would be ok, if I only had one business. VZ I would also like a way to share only certain things along the whole platform. There are parts of my business that do not need to be shared to my gallery customers and my graphic design customers might get confused with my gallery info. The idea of this app is great, I just want to be able to curate the information better!
The concept of networking is broken, event connections aren’t organic, & being handed business cards at a function makes only one thing certain- you’ll forget who they all were & wait weeks (or months) before you throw them all away 🗑️because they take up too much space in your office. If you happen to be an introvert (like myself) who also has a professional role/persona that compels you to make new connections/attend events, this next part is for you. 💡➡️ The awkward handoff (in both directions!) of the business card or “find me on LinkedIn” is gone when you use popl. Having the ability to simply tap & let the other person know they can either share their info w/you (with Lead Capture turned on) or reach out whenever they’re ready, is huge! Not only does this keep it conversational, it also has made the likelihood of someone actually reaching out much higher because they’re seeing a face, getting a text link to your info (in addition to the tap), & they can choose a platform (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, phone, email, etc.) that suits them best. If you’re on the fence or just stumbling across popl — take the leap! You’ll be glad you did.
This really is a game changer! I use 1 to network and exchange information with Humans, Phone Social OnlyFans.... I didn’t stick this to my phone. I stuck it to my wallet. Yes you personally do need this app. But only to set it up. That’s it. Nobody else needs the app. You Popl them and it comes up in their web browser. IF they have the app then it’ll open in their app. I had a few issue in the beginning. But after messing with a few friends phones I found the Sweet Spot on where to tap. And make sure you stick it on the exterior of whatever you put it on. I had it inside of my wallet and phone case. It works but not 100%. Just order a cool color one and stick it on the back of your phone. IN THE BOTTOM NOT TOP! Or on your wallet on your key fob. Overall it’s an easy way to exchange info from one person to another.
I love Popl and appreciate if one of their products doesn’t work, is defective or broken, it can quickly be resolved by email:) I bought the badge which I am obsessed with and the cord that gives the badge more length broke on me within the first week. I emailed the great Popl team and they were so caring and supportive! Right away they asked me to send them a photo of the badge because I really didn’t know what to name the part that was broken! This app has made networking events fly by. When you add a new contact the app allows you to write a note about the event to help you remember the conversation and the person. Not only is it convenient to share contact info but the ability to share links to business websites enables growth for small businesses. Each person I’ve met has asked where I got my card because they’re impressed with the functionality. The only reason why I don’t give 5 starts is the app will crash at times when you try to edit the contact information people have shared with you. Also when you add a contact from the app it will put both the first and last name in the “last name” box in contacts which can make finding that contact again more difficult.
I have been a member of Popl for a about 4-5 months now and I consider this as a small, very useful gadget that helps my business. It shares my contact information easily and quick, which is more important. Today I am writing this review because I had an issue with my Popl phone tag. I contacted customer service and I was taken care by the CEO directly. He solved my issue within 48 hours. This is what takes to any business to succeed, satisfy customer needs. What I loved the most is that there was no questions asked or tried to make it complicated for me, he just helped me and made me a happy and loyal customer. Thanks again!
I have been in contact with the Popl team regarding the issues with the recent update. Their team has been constantly fixing issues that I have ran into with the latest update. Moreover, Jason (founder of Popl), has personally reached out to make sure that the issues I’ve described are resolved. Mad respect! The only other feature that has been removed from this latest version is the ability to enable and disable your profile. This option was amazing for privacy since, by nature, each profile is accessible publicly. I hope the Popl team brings this option back in the next update! Thank you for your hard work on this Popl team!!! I can finally use this as my primary!
After watching an ad for this product it seemed anyone could just walk up and scan your Popl and get your info... a touch less business card... except that’s not how it works. If I knew this product was only compatible with the app, there’s no way I would have bought this. I did this to avoid germs, minimize waste, and minimize my time spent speaking to others for longer then necessary amidst a global pandemic, just to find out that I now need to stand there for an additional amount of time, feeling like I am a brand representative for popl, but I am not, I am a unsatisfied customer. In your branding you should disclose that it’s an app based product, and maybe market toward your community “social media” side of this company to get people on your app BEFORE you sell a product that you must be on that app for in the first place. This may help you so you’re not left with a heap of people annoyed that your product is sub-par, app based and faulty.
I recently discovered Popl and have to say, I love this! I can continually update my business card links as needed and even add information that wouldn’t fit in a standard paper card. In my line of business, this has come in handy multiple times when I didn’t have a paper card. Not to mention the lead capture and marketing flexibility are fantastic! I’ve also turned on some friend to the app and they love it. I would recommend anyone get the Pro version, for sure! Soon, I’ll purchase a couple of accessories to really make things fun! I’ve tried a few other digital cards, but Popl is hands down the best!

As I was starting my business at the beginning of the pandemic I found myself needed a quick and safe way to share my professional contact information. Popl allows me to share my professional social media profiles with just a simple pop. It also allows my potential new clients to save all of my contacts information directly to their phones. It also allows me to separate my personal social media from my professional and share what I want with who I want. I loved it so much, I gifted one to my business manager. The set up was simple and quick, it’s also a really cool trick.
Networking is a huge part of my job. A lot of networking events are held at clubs and different places where the music is so loud and a lot of times hard to hear people. Not only does popl work great so that way you don’t have to worry about the noise level around you but it also helps to protect your information. I don’t want my clients having my personal phone number so I have it set up to where its my picture, my name, my manager’s phone number and then I have my social media links attached. This helps my clients to remember who I am and also gives them access to my social media profiles and my portfolio so they can see my work.
This is one of THE worst apps I have ever used. It’s so crazy to me how it freezes and crashes when I’m simply trying to set it up. I bought a Popl tag months ago and I tried to use it and the app didn’t work then so I shoved it in the drawer for a while and decided to give it another chance today. Thinking it’s been a few months the bugs in the app should be fixed. Well it’s not at all! App still crashes when I am simply trying to set up the tag. I’ve tried to create an account and it froze halfway through then I came back in and tried to log in and it says it’s incorrect, tried to start an account it says I can’t because it already exists. SOOOO I reset the password and it STILL says the info is incorrect. In other words what a waste of time this thing is. If I could give it 0 stars I would!
Hello, if you’re either starting a business or have a pre existing business. I would highly recommend Popl to you. Extremely easy to use and easy to maneuver through the app. It’s as easy as tapping the card to the back of a phone. Almost 80% of people have a phone that can be used for this card. Customer service is also very quick in responding and my order was ready as sent in almost a weeks time. Would highly recommend for any business and anyone looking to get rid of those paper business cards that you misplaced.
I personally think the idea of the popl is dope. It definitely will save money from having to keep ordering business cards. I have the keychain and the virtual business card and I love that I don’t have to worry whether I forgot my business cards or not. As for functionality there was a time of two where I had to tap the popl two or three times against the phone before it gave the prompt to open my profile. It worked as expected all other times. The app itself is user friendly and pretty simple to use. I would definitely recommend it
Popl has changed the way I network!!! I’m a makeup artist and I work in a studio that constantly has new models and photographers in and out of the studio so I always have people asking for my card/info while I’m doing makeup. I referred my mother to this company and she ordered her product over a week ago and still has not received it, when she reached out to customer service, they told her they lost the order and they couldn’t find it but once they located the package, she was able to receive it only to open the watch band and it was defected. Now she is waiting on a response from customer service for a replacement van, but they keep going back-and-forth with just giving her a full refund as if she doesn’t still want the product. It’s for her business. It’s very convenient and it is frustrating no one is able to make the process smoother especially after waiting so long just to receive a damaged product
Honestly Popl is so small and yet so efficient at what it does Im so glad I got to try one out. It can be stuck into almost anything, or if you get the keychain version you can hang it off your keys or bag, etc. I have a few popl, and they’re great when I need to promote different things, be it my personal media and contact information, or to promote my small business. Their ambassador program is also super great and they are very friendly with their customer service, always making sure to stay up to date with what would benefit their consumer.
First off yes to everything this! I have been needing a simpler method of sharing info at work. As an actor/model sometimes I can’t have my phone on me and I need to connect with people! Popl makes that happen! Second, I placed an order for a device through the website and placed the wrong shipping and I was able to get support within minutes and my product is now en route! To be honest I didn’t even expect to hear back from support so with a response time like that and with the products offered popl is definitely a yes for me!
I very rarely write a review. I’m writing this one because I really believe this is a secret that is not made it to the limelight. The technology of RF ID and data transfer is not new, but the way Popl presented allows you to transform your business and the way you connect to others. This app also has business card integration for all the thousands of business cards that you may have lying around. And the ability to organize your business. You can actually insert business brochures and/or PowerPoint into the data transfer.
Love how the app tabs are big. You can’t miss the one you’re looking for. Though I wish they have a different categories for the apps like, you can put together all the social media pages then the mode of payments on different categories. Also, would be nice if you can personalize the color of the page itself to your favorite to add a little touch of your personality. Doesn’t have to be photo background as this is not a social media website. I love that right now it has the snow effects on the app itself. A cute little touch! My favorite e- business card! Great for having small business like me.
I have been using this for a few months now and it’s great. Every time I pull out my card and tap a phone I get that wow that’s so cool, how can I get one response. That’s not why we have endorsed this platform we just did it to make it easy for people to have a contact info. They are gonna add it anyway might has well make it easy (especially since we are a technology company). The only minor, minor change would be have the address be an address rather than a google maps link.
I recently purchased my first ever Popl from Walmart and have no regrets of my purchase! This device has helped me make the coolest dance profile ever. Furthermore has caused me to purchase 2 more devices for it to be able to promote it even more. Currently have 2 popl dots & business card, which I use constantly to connect with friends, family and other dancers! I can’t wait to continue to use this device and grow my dance profile. I’m a barber and have purchased many popl devices from tap, bracelet and Advertisement Card. I linked all my business pages, forms of payment, scheduling link giving access to anyone and everyone who taps. This has helped me build clientele. Having the device on the back of my phone makes it convenient to advertise myself and my business easily, anywhere and everywhere! I highly recommend any popl device for any business from an individual to a corporation. Popl deliveries are also very quick!!
Works as advertised but after a year of barely using the app I want to cancel. However, developers purposefully made it extremely difficult to cancel: Cannot cancel from the app. Customer support on the app directs me to the website - then when go to website and click login it automatically sends me back to the app. Then the app sends me back to the website and the same thing is repeated. Why make it so difficult for customers to cancel the service? Is the idea to trick people into remaining as subscribers? If so that is a pretty deceptive trade practice. The 24/7 chat is apparently not 24/7 on Sundays so now I will have to deal with what should have been a 30-second cancellation while I am at work tomorrow.
Best product on the market for sharing contact information
I have been using my POPL For several months now, it is such an incredible product, so easy to use and makes life contact list sharing information so easy. Simply customize what information you’d like to share and simply put your phone next to theirs and that information transfers immediately. This product is a game changer especially with COVID-19 and I highly suggest if you don’t have one now that you go out and order one immediately!
So far, and I have only been using Popl for a short time, I have really found the digital business card to be very convenient in making connections and networking. I believe it also shows others that I take networking seriously. Also, I have found the customer service to be very courteous, efficient, and helpful. I just had a question about billing, sent an email, and within 2 minutes, Kath replied and quickly answered my question!
So first of all I want to say this product is false advertising. I was pretty much sold a lie. This product didn’t work for me at all and I bought two. One for my boyfriends Galaxy phone and one for my iPhone. Needless to say they were a flop I was able to download the app but once I tried to get someone to connect with me through the link it would not. My boyfriend couldn’t even get his to work at all not even able to download the app. I reached out to see if we could get this fixed and they never replied back to me. Please beware that you’re taking a risk on this product and if it doesn’t work it’s not returnable. Also they don’t tell you but if you want the cool features on their add you’ll have to pay 💰 $$$ extra🙄👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼Don’t buy
This is very creative and easy to use I use it for my business. It alleviate cards and people throw away cards all the time. But, having a Digital business card is so AMAZING. People only have to tap your phone with popl and they have your information. So super cool and convenient. Everyone always say it’s cool and they love it after getting my business card. A lot have said they have never seen it before. Sooooo thank you popl and to my friend that bought it for me. Definitely a good device to have on your phone.
Working in aviation as my job and social network settings for my business has been quite different during this pandemic. Business has to go on but the way we connect had to change. Popl gave us a new way to do the business card and I’m loving it! Those old cards were an archaic, environmental blight anyhow. Popl brought us into the new age where we can Pop and watch them go directly where we need them. Less germs and less mess with a much more meaningful and instant connection!
This constant notification pop up even when you silence your phone, the noise you can still hear and it’s constant all day all night long. I cannot deactivate it unless I remove the whole app from my phone that defeats the purpose of even having the program on my device it’s a waste of money. I am so disappointed. I love having the ability for people to tap their phone and get all my information, it’s wonderful. Everything just pops up on their phones but this annoying notification that I cannot activate is nerve-racking if that could be removed and stopped I would love it I could give better stars I’ve never given a one star for anything.
Great product, needs better tutorial, but once customized it is fantastic
I bought this so I could network and hopefully not transfer lots of germs. Bonus for saving on paper waste from business cards. I wish there were better tutorials. But love the product and how simply I can share my contact info with someone. I recommend turning off direct switch so that it doesn’t try to get them to use the popl url. Once that’s off it goes straight to the page you view on your app and they can auto add to contacts.
I own a small business and often do pop up shops and vendor shows. Popl has made my life so much easier. I no longer have to count stock of physical business cards and can keep those to send with my mail orders. All my customers are so intrigued and impressed with the popl app when they see it in person and think it is so cool. I love being able to share my socials and website with people so quickly, especially when I know 98% of the printed business cards don’t get looked at and thrown away.
After being shown this product by a client (I’m a hairstylist) I was ecstatic about it and couldn’t wait to get my hands on a new gadget that would bring in business! I set up an account and couldn’t wait to set up my profile… well since having the app I can’t log in… I bought two bracelets at $25 a piece and neither will connect or activate… paid two activation fees and pay by the week for something I can’t use! I’ve emailed and tried to contact the company to no avail. I was pretty excited about this gadget and it’s been a waste of money. I’m pretty disappointed with this because it was such a dope way to get your business out when you don’t have a business card on hand to give someone. Ughhhhh
I love Popl! The person on the other end does not need the app, it opens in a website so I’m not sure why the other review saying that. It is so easy to use, it’s better than some of the competitive products that still use a business card type product. Chances are you always have your phone on you, so you will always have this with you. I constantly swap cases, so I put the Popl on my phone itself, and it still works through the case.
When you watch the videos and view the marketing they make it look like it’s a simple easy solution. It is not tough to set up, and it only works on basic level sending them to Popl website and a link with your info. Business cards are simpler then the app. I have not tried the pro version to be able to rate. After having to spend money to get the dot to make it work was very disappointed with it. Not going to spend more money with them if the first step to use the product is that hard and cost money. Stick with business cards you will better off. This coming from someone who built a business without business cards.

Never seen anything like this before. You get your Popl in the mail just a couple days after ordering online and you are able to set it up instantly with this app. The website feature is still there but this makes it much faster, especially since I have an older iPhone, this counteracts the need for an iPhone XR or newer. Easy to use and great interface, haven’t had any issues with it. Great company overall! Im in love with my Popl.

I love the popl! It’s great to have for your business, especially if you forget your business cards at home or run out of them. That’s the only reason I purchased it, and what would be great is if a customer of yours could purchase a customized popl. Example: I’m a photographer, I’m shooting a business or headshots of an entrepreneur. I could include a popl in my services as gift to my customer but with my business logo on the popl. It would give popl and my business more advertising. Just an idea! I love my popl!
1. I think phones are disgusting. I mean, most take them into the bathroom with them and who knows how often they’re cleaning them. I don’t want anyone handing me their phone to input my information. Everyone should own a Popl. 2. COVID cooties. Again, I don’t want to touch anyone’s anything. Let’s just let our phones kiss and we’re all good. I’ve used business cards for YEARS and every time I order a batch I end up needing to add something to them so I either waste them or have to hand write my additions which don’t look very professional.
