Pornography addiction can be accredited to many things. One of the main causes of pornography addiction is the ease of access to hours and hours of free videos on the internet thanks to its development. A teenager can stumble upon a porn video and after realizing how easy it is he would come back every time and do the same thing. Another cause of pornography addiction is the fact that internet suppliers and governments are not doing anything to make pornography harder to attain. Internet suppliers by default allow the access to porn websites on their servers instead of blocking them and making them available upon a request from the user which is a bad thing.
I downloaded this app because I’m sick of my addictions and need to better myself. After I downloaded this app it asks you to pay for a premium subscription fee to be able to use the site. After declining to buy it I hit a button that said later and it gave me a offer that if I wrote a five star review with 100 characters I could get the premium for free. I feel that his is a little cheap to have to do to people who want to break their bad habits. I understand the need to make money off of a product but $70 seems a little high. It’s like offering drug addicts a miracle shot that removes their addiction but it costs more money then they have. I’m sure this is a huge over exaggeration but it wouldn’t hurt to make it a little easier for people to break their addictions, especially when you market your app as helping with an addiction to pornography, which is arguably more addictive then some illegal drugs. I’m probably just overthinking things and I hope the app helps. I’ve seen a lot of other ratings that have praised the app despite the review lock and high subscription.
I knew this would happen, that is, I’d have to write a review to get the premium of the app. People were complaining about it in the comments however I think this is awesome considering all other apps do not offer a feature to get the premium for free. Hoping the app helps. Kinda crazy that it costs money to upgrade to premium to help with an addiction, but glad I can do this instead. 100 characters is not a lot but still a lot but it is worth it to get a free porn blocker so here we go… I’ve never really used porn blockers because safari or anything that can have bad or inappropriate content has always been blocked but when my parents gave me freedom bad things happened and this has happened to a LOT of people all over the world and it could even happened to you or your brother or sister (if you have one) or even your parents or their parents. I’ve been off porn for a lil while and in that time span I did the most I’ve ever done! Though I believe in science. I don’t believe that porn doesn’t do any harm. I am unsure if this promotion is still active, however I am willing to submit a review anyhow just in case it is. The promotion dictates that if you write a review for the app, you get the "premium" version of the application for free, otherwise it is 70 dollars. There are likely better alternatives for cheaper. I suppose the premium version utilizes their database for protection/blocking instead of having to do everything manually, which is a plus. I do suppose 70 dollars is measly compared to a potentially life altering addiction that would also end up costing you more money in the long run.
The app seems pretty good so far. I like the filtering system and it can block millions of sites. It is somewhat annoying that you have to pay for premium but anything helps!
