This app does its job so well! Everyone has a tv BUT not everyone knows what the differences are between 720p , 1080p, 4k or other resolutions. This app helps you by determining the amount of pixels per inch your TV has which is arguably the most important feature when buying a monitor or TV. Basically the higher the pixels per inch the better the screen will look. It isn't just about screen resolution when buying a Tv but also Pixels Per inch and TV screen size.
This app does what it is supposed to do and the best thing about this app is that it is free. Thank You for creating this app for iOS. I really needed something like this for my iPads and digital artwork. There are only a scarce few of this kinds of digital art helper apps that still work across all iDevices AND old and new iOS versions. Once again, Thank You very much for creating this for free fof everyone to use.
Will you be updating this app? At this time my device pop up message. ”PPI CALC” Needs To Be Updated. You then given two options. Keep or Delete. If and when PPI CALC gets updated. I will change my stars. I hope you see this and will update.
I was looking for a calculator that can help me figure out custom crop factors such as turning a 4K full screen to cinemascope but this doesn’t do that. It’s a pity as there used to be apps that did prior to iOS 11 but those developers have abandoned them.
With this handy application you can calculate the PPI (pixels per inch) of all the screens you want. In addition to the PPI you can get information about aspect ratio and the measurements of the screen: * Height * Width * Area All the data are available in either inches or centimeters. To make your life easier there is also a list of standard resolutions and many common devices. Tap the item you want to preset the data without having to write anything.
