Prayr - God Simulator

This game is very interesting. I first found it today from a YouTuber named Gloom. A game has to be interesting for me to actually want to keep playing it, and right of the bat I loved it. I do want to say that answering prayrs is a bit boring. I would like it if there was music while we are answering payrs, and the more evil you are, the more creepy or aggressive the music gets. And the more nicer you are, the more happy and angelic the music gets. Also, I like more things instead of one personally. I want to have save lots in this game. (2-3) So I could have one where I have a evil god and one with a nice god. And I’ll still be able to see all my religions on the leaderboard and have battles with my own religions. Otherwise, I love this game and I’ll definitely become more obsessed with this game the more I play it. I hope you consider these ideas as I think it will make the game better. I feel as though the game is a bit bland and it could use some more improvement, so not only take mine, but other peoples thoughts in as well. Great job on this game!

I’ve played this game for a couple weeks because it’s free and stuff, but there are several problems that make this game either too tedious or broken. The first thing I wanna say is that the main mechanic, answering prayers, is pretty dull. The simple mechanic of gaining followers based on actions is randomized and inconsistent with what you do; sometimes giving a third nipple gives you a follower, sometimes not. As an “evil deity,” I found it easier to simple deny 5 prayers and gain around 20 each time. Secondly, Holy Wars are just as broken. The chances it to lose or win are not reliable (500 against 1200 and I have a 4% chance to lose?), to the point that you can lose even if you outnumber your opponent 2:1. Thirdly, the grind for followers is tedious and monotonous because answering prayers gives so little, and it’s easy to lose more followers than gain. I haven’t found a reliable way to get more followers because answering the same prayers give random results. As much as I want to like it, this game is just decent at being a time killer, but mostly because it makes you wait 30 seconds with adwalls all over the main game.

The game just came out and so far, its actually pretty fun. One problem I have with it is how Dolmens are the least costly building yet are the more affective than Obelisks. An Obelisk costs 25,000 while a Dolmen costs 2,500 yet a Dolmens add an extra .075 to the game while Obelisks only add .015. The same goes with churches, they only add .075 yet costs 2,500,000. The game literally came out yesterday and I will spend quite a while on it. The idea definitely sticks out. I would suggest to customize your religion way more like adding things that are common for religions, like old scriptures and different realms/punishments. Possibly build some sort of heaven/ hell and customize it to your liking. It gets somewhat repetitive but still fun.

I’m really enjoying this game; however, it does have some issues. For one, there doesn’t seem to be that much variety with prayers, especially with the older generations accessed through time travel. I’ve found myself scrolling through the same 5 prayers for almost every single round, just in a different order each time. Also, in the “View Other Religions” section, we should be given a limit to how many times we can add a custom religion. I found it easy to exploit for easy cash, since we can just make the custom religion intentionally smaller/weaker than our own for easy-elimination + gaining some converts. Lastly, I wish there was a way to get rid of ads and to allow them to be optional only for boosts and reward multipliers. I wouldn’t mind if it required a one-time $5 payment, since it’d be supporting the developers. Overall, I still think this is a pretty good game. I look forward to seeing how much better it will be after a couple more updates. Definitely has tons of potential.

I love this a lot, I’m addicted to it and It’s only been 2 days. I feel that the game should at least have one additional save file for a player’s additional playable religion. It would would also be great if we can unlock more timelines, like the Christ era before/after, the colonizing era, the Roman and Egyptian eras. I’m not sure if I am having an issue with converter mechanic, but I feel like for every time you win a religious war. The followers who have been converted into your religion should show up in the player’s followers counter. It’s just a few of those little additional things like that would make the game perfect in my opinion.

Ok, so on Twitter a couple weeks ago, I was scrolling and saw your guys game. I thought it looked interesting, so then I have followed the testing of it and stuff. I was one of the first ones to try it out on TestFlight, and now have the actual game. I think it’s really awesome, and I hope you guys keep up the good work. I also like all your humor and stuff. I do have a few suggestions though. One, I think it would be cool if you could chose the country your god starts in. Then it could spread to more countries. Two, I think we should be able to customize a flag for our religion. I think that would be cool, and keep up the good work.

I found a YouTuber graystillplays playing the game and decided to download it it’s really fun but it only gets a 4 star because I haven’t played too much of it Edit: I played a few days and it’s really fun but there are a few improvements that I believe would make the game more fun 1 I believe that you (as the player) should be able to permit and forbid things in your religion so that it could actually feel like a religion and not a mob 2 I believe that you should be able to turn your religion into an empire like how the Ottomans manly believed in Islam 3 I also believe that you should be able to do an all out war where the losers religion will be destroyed and they will be off the list I say this cause I am currently battling the Pastafarians and it is very tedious to get there number down to zero. Hopefully you can look at these and add these to your suggestions list if possible thanks for a great game

Prayr is kinda dull, don’t get me wrong I’m not saying it’s awful, but playing it doesn’t make you wan to grind for hours to get more followers. It’s nice to show people or a game to play on a car ride. The prayers are funny to answer, but there respective, is recommend showing the outcomes as soon as the prayer is answered. Other than that it’s a good “I have no WiFi so imma play this” game. The game does work really well and I don’t see a big issue with it so five stars (p.s if I have a thousand people fighting against four, they should all convert or die, not escape)

I love this! It has amazing features like start a campaign, Title, Name of religion, You can even see other real religions! 😍but of course just like every game it has some disadvantages (In my opinion at least) but it doesn’t have too many (actually just 1 for me) they’re not that bad like we get only 30 sec to play a round I think it’s a bit of a short time but it makes it more challenging and also this game is offline! So I don’t get bored. I highly recommend you downloading this game! Good job to the creators! 👏🏻👏🏻

I spent a good long time playing this game. I wish that there were more different prayers, instead of the same handful being slightly altered. I also noticed that some of the achievements I know I should have received remained locked, despite me completing the requirements multiple times over and leaving and resetting the game a few times. I also There should be an option for a more in depth tutorial for the buttons and controls, rather than having to trial-and-error it and risk losing a lot of followers on accident.

Saw a yt video on this a few weeks ago and was excited to play. At first, it seemed really repetitive, but as I gained more followers and unlocked things, it's quickly grown addictive. Sometimes the names don't match when you read the outcomes. Definitely getting a lot of repeats with mild variety. But the game has only just come out and I'm curious if they'll keep ramping it up, similar to how bitlife has grown. Hear my Prayr and give me the option to pay for an ad free version.

At first I assumed this was just another tinder spinoff game, but I gave it a try. Halfway through I thought: “yeah, better delete this app, it’s just a spin-off” then I found the option to build, create war and more! This game has a lot of potential, and so far, the developers have for sure kept it in good hands. Note: wish there was a way you could completely overrun another religion when it’s followers are knocked down low enough or else no casualties are inflicted.

This game is really fun, but it can be pretty slow and repetitive, one thing I think could make it better is if you could have some mor in-depth customization, for example, it would be really cool if you could create a ranking system for your followers, and have them organize gatherings, or if you could come up with a symbol for your religion. Overall, this is a fun game, but with those things, it would be amazing.

Okay so who in there right mind decided to delete instalife and replace it with this crap. Insta life was one of the most popular games and you scrapped it. Whoever made that decision isn’t good in the ways of common sense if you wanted to make another game then go ahead but you can have multiple games. Like you could still have instalife and this bad attempt of a game. If you needed more money then you should have put more adds and put maybe a membership type thing like a smart company but nooooo you scrap the best thing this company produced and replaced it with a religion game instead of having two games.

I found this app from a YouTuber named Gloom, and I am sure many others have too. I love this game and it’s super fun to play, but there can always be improvements. For example, some of the religion wars probabilities are a little confusing, and if more prayrs can be added it would be a lot more enjoyable instead of getting the same ones often. I overall believe that this app has potential to become and amazing game, keep up the good work!

I’ve only downloaded this game today so I haven’t played it for long, but I can already tell it’s gonna be my new favorite mobile game. The premise and options as a god are super fun, and I’m gonna be addicted to this game for a while cuz there’s lots of different things to unlock. However, there are some things that would definitely make the game even more fun: 1. More unique prayrs 2. Consistent follower additions and subtractions based on the prayr scenario 3. Easier ways to gain followers (maybe allow players to campaign more) 3. Worldwide religion leaderboard of real players whom you can initiate holy wars with Of course, these are all just suggestions, and overall the game is really creative and fun to play :)) I will def be recommending this game to my friends!

The game has good mechanics and is fun when you need something to do with your time. But there are major problems if you’re trying to grind it. You don’t gain much followers from your prayers, buildings don’t do much work, and how your prayers are measured. By that I mean when they’re measured on how good or bad they are. It doesn’t measure the prayers and how you decided to handle them on if they were morally good or bad. It measures them on whether or not you accepted them or not. There’s also not that many prayer options/cards to answer.

This game is good, but there are some… questionable things (like people getting cars in their bodies somehow) anyways, there should probably be like music for each morality. (Evil, dark. Neutral, ehh like the Creatures in the Attic. Good, holy music) and also you should probably be able to travel to planets at 1 Billion followers with religion. Anyways have a good day.

Hello, I’ve been playing this for quite some time and it’s a pretty okay game, but I’d like to answer prayers farther in the past. Like 16th, 17th, 18th century? Or even earlier! I’m a huge history nerd and those centuries are my favorite. But it’s a pretty okay game, it is a little tedious, but something to do to pass time. But it would be nice to have prayers to answer in far back centuries.

It’s a great game to play when you’re bored but my cousin can’t play for the only reason, it’s 17+. And I think she’d really like it. Her parents think it’s like BitLife with sex and drugs and stuff but it’s not, it’s a simple game.. no murder... no death.. And I just think all should be able to play. Maybe you made it 17+ for the reason it talks about religion. Overall this is a really fun game to play. :)

i love this game. but i have an idea all others religions have "Holy Text" but the religion that me or you or others have doesn't allow you to make you're own holy text so you can make a limit of BANS or things that you ALLOW (sorry if the spelling was wrong) so that will in my mind be a good update to the game

I really enjoy this game, I always get back into it during long car rides, but I really think that you should add a remove ads pass for around 5 dollars. Also, the prayers get really repetitive after a while so it would be nice if you added more :) You havent updated the game in a year but its super fun and you should keep continuing to add onto it! :D

I am reviewing this app because I am having problems in the other religions section it says I have 628 followers when I have 8,333 followers this effects how many go to war. This is not my account but I cannot review it on mine because I did not download it first in my family. Otherwise I love the game continue doing great work.

The game feel so dull and limited instlife was one of my favorite games because of how much freedom you had playing it, I feel like it would be a lot more fun if you would make it less limited and repetitive and give us more creative freedoms. I think you should an in game system instead of real Time because it would make the game feel a lot more fast and less slow and boring.

It’s a very good game overall but one thing that makes me note rate it a five is that the game doesn’t make sense I would have 7000 men they would have 5000 band I would still lose I was wondering why like it doesn’t make sense to me. Another example is that I had 5500 men they had 5600 men and it would sayI had a 99.8% of losing. Why?

I really enjoy this game, but it could use some more options- especially more time periods, perhaps an option to turn off ads (for a fee), and some more strategies to gain more followers. Still, I am enjoying it a lot, and would recommend it to others.

This game has the potential to be developed into something really enjoyable..... currently it is too basic. Answering prayers is of course the bulk of it, but that gets old quick. More could be done with missionary campaigns. Would be cool for the player to build on beliefs/practices/culture/religious leaders/etc., that could help or hinder the collection of followers. I will not be keeping this game for now, but I hope updates in the future turn it into an app worth returning to!

I loved the game when I first started testing it and I love it now, only problem so far for me is that i have a glitch where the prayr card doesnt show up, the only way I can get out of it is either smiting or exiting game if I dont have a Smite. Other then that little bug, amazing mobile game

There is a glitch where when i make a custom religion, it switches back to the amount of people are in that religion, and it makes it has a certain amount of people. Could y’all fix it?

One of my ideas is to add more things to do instead of just ansewering prayers and also fix some of the the grammar for prayers please that’s alll

I love how you make your own religion, and you can fight others to be the most populated religion in the world! This is an amazing game and I recommend this to other people. But please update so there are new prayers to be answered!

It’s a really great concept, however the game is quite low quality and boring. There needs to be faster ways to get more followers. I have 2,000 followers, which took me a few hours maybe. Pro Tip- you aren’t going to overthrow main religions like Islam and Christianity, unless you played for a little over 3 years.

The overall game has a very good concept and never gets boring, but, the game keeps crashing every time I breed the buildings button. The button only works every other time so it gets annoying to have time I have to turn the game back on.

The ads come up every 1-3 rounds for me. I shouldn’t have to watch an ad every 1-2 minutes when playing a game… it makes it very not enjoyable. Please give us a feature to pay to remove ads. Otherwise, the game is fun and a quick time passer!

This game is really fun! But there is one glitch that makes me a little mad. There is this random glitch where every like 2-4 games the game crashes and this is not because of the version of IPhone because it is an IPhone 8. Please fix this, Thank you :)

Hi, I have had the game for a while, there is so much to do! Only note I think of is that I’m tired of the same exact prayers over and over and over and over. I think you should at like 70 payers or else I will uummmm I got nothing

Good way to pass the time, when it gets boring I keep playing it and forget that it was boring beforehand. (Wait is that how it works?) Anyway, fun to play and would recommend for those who need time killers for free.

Sometimes my game will just randomly crash, idk why though cause it just happens even when I don’t do anything I’ve been here since instlife you guys are great keep it up, I just wish you guys didn’t sell it to bitlife

Everything was fine until I started swiping and then the screen went blank. I could see the name and what the person looked like but I couldn’t swipe or read the prayer. Is this bug just happening to me?

There is no tutorial in the game but if you spend a little bit playing the game you will understand how it works and that’s why I give it a 4 star rating because once you know how to play the game it’s really fun

I used to be able to have it when it first came out, but they made updates to it and made it not child appropriate. They should have never added the update because it was fine before it. The update includes, murder, and um... let’s just say very adult things 🤭😳. The whole update is just gross. If your a parent seeing if you should get this for your kid... it’s rated T for a reason. So don’t get this for your child. Please

I really like this game but it seems to go way to fast for me to even read the prayers! It would be cool if you made the time longer than 10 sec or maybe more options regarding it. Also, would be cool if you can skip ads by payment

The issue is I can only make money of the daily reward and I don’t get the starter cash I with zero dollars and my brother started with 7,000 dollars so it is glitch so if you could fix this it would be a great game.

It’s a really good game but I miss Instlife can you guys PLEASE bring that game back PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE that game is my favorite life simulator of all time. Please bring that back. Or at least remake it with more stuff added to it. Please bring it back.
