The best! Thank you developers.

An absolutely fantastic app! I get gift cards for performance incentives, mostly visa gift cards, and normally I just end up using the money for coffee and lunch. This time however I had two, and was looking for a way to get cash instead. I was searching around online and found the website. The app is quick and easy to understand and one of my cards was manually approved the same day and I had cash in my bank account next day. This service beats all others out there that take days to be approved or only offer PayPal as an option for payment. Most websites don’t allow you sell Visa/MasterCard. I am grateful to the developers for realizing this service is needed! I deducted 1 star because the scanner doesn’t seem to work with MasterCard gift card.

NOT 100% SURE, YOU’D GET PAID BY PREPAID2CASH, HOWEVER THEY’RE GOING TO DEBIT YOUR CARD.

I have a lot of successful transactions history with prepaid2cash, however, trust me, you gonna regret trading with them, I submitted a $200 Amex card on my prepaid card, and The transaction summary was updated (pending) status on my history and later got erased, I couldn’t find the summary anymore showing pending or Approved, it was updated and removed, meanwhile, I have been deducted from my account ($200), I contacted the prepaid2cash support, they told me there are sorry for the confusion. My transaction was rejected by their system but it is up to the prepaid card issuer to re-credit the funds to the account. They said they suggest I should reach out to a prepaid card issuer. but it is usually removed within 5-7 business days... I reached out to Amex support through phone calls, and they told me it’s not possible to cancel the $200 charge on my account however they’d issue my case and get back to me next 45 days, Till now I haven’t gotten my money back if there’s nothing fishy, Whenever prepaid2cash reject my card, I do get notifications, and it would be stated in my transactions history. Suddenly I didn’t get any notification about my transaction, Please guys be careful while trading with them, they may be nice to you today and tomorrow it’s gonna be a disappointment, I advise don’t trade high-value gift cards with them, if $50-$100 isn’t big amount to lose, You can risk with them

Misleading and Mismanaged App

Nearly every email as well as every advertisement for this app claims to give cash or more specifically to pay you for your unwanted gift cards via your bank account or PayPal, etc. The reality is I have tried using this app to do just that nearly half a dozen times over the past year and am met with the same result every time. As soon as the app opens you select “New Transaction” and are then presented a choice between purchasing a gift card from them, or selling a gift card to them. If you try to select the option to sell a gift card, you are immediately greeted with a message saying “This service is not currently available, we are hopeful to restore this service soon”. What kind of disclaimer is that? They are “hopeful” to restore the service soon? You can hope for something as much as you want but if youre not actively making an attempt to fix it then it’s never actually going to work, is it? No, it’s not. From what I can see, this app never actually had the ability or intention to pay people for gift cards. It seems as if they use that to get people to download the app and then once they have made an account and can’t get money for the gift cards they want to get rid of that some of those people will end up using the same app to purchase a gift card from them. Don’t bother wasting your time with the hopes of getting paid for your gift cards with this app. It ain’t gonna happen.

Don’t use if you aren’t prepared to possibly lose.

I tried this app after a google search said it was a good app for changing your prepaid card to bankable cash (which I’m sure we’d all rather have) so I gave it a try. I entered in my virtual Visa card information I received from MyPaymentVault (thank goodness it was just a $100 reward from my bank for joining them, and not a gift from family, because then I’d really be fuming) and they proceeded to run their transaction withdrawal on my virtual Visa. **THEN** their system asks for visual proof from their risk management department.. not before, possibly warning you before completion that the risk department won’t take screen grabs of your virtual Visa prepaid card (clearly in your name) as proof. Be warned. This is only for physical prepaid cards. Not virtual. Either that tidbit is buried in the fine print where I didn’t see it, or it’s not mentioned at all. My virtual Visa isn’t reloadable, it leaves MyPaymentVault as an active card as soon as it’s empty (which Prepaid2Cash did in that 1 transaction) so I’m out $100 now. Thanks. I wasn’t planning on using it for bills or anything. /s — **Before the developer tries to respond that they’ll look into it** — I’ve already emailed them a plethora of times with no response. I keep *all* my email receipts.

Trying to get money out of my $250 Amex gift card

Tbh I was skeptical about this app and honestly I was right. There is a feature to have the money instantly deposited to a place of your choosing that being said they require you to verify your identity ( drivers license) after you’ve ran through these steps and get verified you can choose instant delivery or wait about a week. I chose instant delivery it gave me an estimate of that same day in about an hour. Next thing you know a whole 24 hours goes by and nothing to be seen from them my whole 250 is still pending to be sent to my bank. I didn’t want to get scammed like the others that used the app so I called Amex gift card services and they told me I need to reach out to this company that basically stole my money 😭 when I did through email bevaus they don’t have a phone number an hour later they send s blank email only for me to go log into my Amex gift card and it’s been refunded. My advise don’t use stupid apps like this look up online how you can’t convert these into cash thru PayPal or Venmo. The way this app is ran isn’t smart don’t put your trust into it or else you’ll lose your money trust me 🙏

Amazing app that works as advertised

I looked at some websites that offer a similar service and have good reviews but often they would accept a gift card but send money via check with a significant fee. I downloaded Prepaid2Cash which seemed similar but everything was better. I submitted my personal info for verification which took minutes. I then linked my bank and debit card for withdrawing funds. Then it provided me an even better rate on gift cards then any competitors. I traded in two gift cards at first and received the funds instantly with a higher % rate. Then did another gift card for next day deposit which was very fast and gave me $91 on a $100 gift card. I then saw the ability to get funds via BTC to your own wallet. This was a similar rate and took a few hours. Love the app and would recommend to anyone.

Useless

I have now tried two different gift cards and each time I get a message saying that they are unable to process my sale and to contact support. I did this and support merely told me “redemption success of gift card transactions varies by brand and amount. If you find that you cannot get an offer for a certain gift card, most likely we cannot accept that transaction at this time” which was not at all helpful. So I tried the cards a few more times to see if they’d go through and got the same error message. So I finally just gave up and will be moving on. I do not recommend wasting your time and energy with this service. I have had no issues with CardCash or Raise (though Raise takes a bit longer to get paid because of the way it works).

Nothing but 5 Stars

This apps amazing. I used to sell on Paxful. But it’s hard when you get them as gifts and you can get scammed on there. But I get visa gift cards a lot for gifts in my family. And I’d rather have cash in my physical debit card so if I lose it I have it still. I never get the instant to work which is fine because I use Bitcoin and get it same day a hour or so after it’s been received. Let me tell you customer service responded to my email one time within 30 mins of submitting the wrong Bitcoin address (included transaction ID). And even when Bitcoin states “estimated delivery tomorrow by XXXX) it still deposits same day. Highly recommend this app to anyone with visa gift cards. Idk about store gift cards but visa absolutely! Love this app.

Good app but...

This app is very good and very well made but I just transferred my Visa gift card and everything worked out great and I got my money into my debit card but then when I went to go transfer my gift card they needed my passport. I am very skeptical on why they would need my passport in general and why they would only need it for gift cards and not for Visa gift cards. I don’t know who runs this app and what they will do if I give them my passport or other identification so I’m not going to put that in because I don’t want identity theft or something like that to happen. As soon as the app removes the feature that says that I need to give them identification I will gladly transfer my $200 Nike gift card into my debit card.

SCAM

This app is scam and would highly advise not to download. I don't why they are positive reviews but submitted a transaction and woke up the next day to my account being banned and told to contact support... contacted them and got automated email basically saying they ban accounts for “fraudulent activity” and to prevent this the support team will not respond to these cases. How convenient they just take my money and then determine “fraudulent” activity, pocket all the money, and won’t tell what or why they did it. I bought the card I submitted in my own name the day before and have the purchase receipt which is what a real company worried about fraud would ask for. They are incentivized to ban your account for fraud since that is what makes them the most money and then they just leave you with no explanation to “eliminate fraudulent activity” these guys are the only frauds and scammers here so save your money/card.

Would not recommend stay away

So I had $400 in gift cards 2 cards that I needed to cash out I was going to pay $400 towards rent with them so I was like ya this seems like a good idea I then went through the whole process first you have to fill out the gift card info and that’s fine then you have to send a photo of your ID and I’m assuming that’s just to confirm it’s not a stolen gift card and then all I can get out of it was $336 and I was like ok what ever I’m ok with that then I hit submit and then it logged me out I then when to sign back in and they banned me ya they banned me from the app with no reason it says my account was immediately disabled so I was like now what so I have a business so I just processed the $400 in my own company and just like that right into my account so if anyone has a business just do that 100% safe free and you keep all profit

Didn’t expect it to work or go through

This is my new way of getting rid of gift cards I don’t need. I’ll keep you all updated on if it works for me or no. Edit: It did come when it said it would, it does definitely work like it saids. I’d say the only thing that I don’t particularly like is that I didn’t get as much as I’d like for it but that’s not their fault, it’s the market for gift cards. Honestly, this is a great alternative to get money for the available gift cards and prepaid cards to choose from. Just keep in mind that you will only get as much as it’s currently worth/offered. Besides that, lovely app and good timing.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP

This app is the worst. I had a gift card and wanted to transfer the funds from my gift card to my back card and to do that I just had to provide a picture of the card to prove it was actually mine which it was. So I sent them the picture of the card, scratched out the numbers they instructed me to, and then I received an email saying it was approved and that the money would settle in my account the next day. I check the next and the money was still not there so I emailed them again telling them that it was approved but the money wasn’t there. I then received an email from them saying “oh there has been a miscommunication it was actually rejected” So I asked why it was rejected, they have yet to provide me with the reason why. They’ve been emailing me back no problem until I want to know why my transaction was rejected. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS UNPROFESSIONAL APP!

No more reason for doubt

I just bought a visa gift card thinking that I would be able to use it on some websites. I understand no cash value but I thought I could get a money order or take to my bank. I was wrong so I looked up different apps and websites and found this one. I used it yesterday and got my money into my bank account this morning. This company will take percent from your gift card but at least you will get most of money back. I highly recommend to anyone who wants money from their gift card.

App is Unreliable

This app seemed so promising at first but I have only been able to make 1 prepaid card transaction. My other 3 prepaid cards with verified balances won’t work despite having verified balances on the Vanilla Balance site. I even have screenshots. The transactions get rejected and support just says they are working on resolving it with not timeline for a fix. The gift card option doesn’t work in app. I’m confused why there is an option but when trying to use it it’s unavailable or not yet available. Seems strange. The app is unreliable. Giving it 2 stars because the one card I was able to get to work had funds deposited the next business day as stated which is a plus.

Money talks

So I put in a request to turn my $50 visa gift card into cash to be deposited into my bank account. The amount that will be deposited is 44 dollars and some odd sense. I would wish their site would be more transparent about fees. I have 2 other $100 gift cards that I would like to transfer but I want to know the fees before plugging in all of the information. Other than that i submitted my request today so it says my Friday it should be directly deposited. So 3 business days. Seems alittle slow compared to others but I’ll still use this service. Gets the job done I guess.

It totally works

I don’t get people saying this is a scam and doesn’t accept Visa gift cards. I’ve NEVER had a problem using Visa gift cards, they’ve always accepted it and I the money would be deposited into my bank account the next day (I opt for the lower transaction fee that’s why it’s the next day and not right now) and as for store gift cards, again no issues! I’ve done Bath and Body Works and Nike. This app works just fine, maybe it’s the owner of the gift card that has an issue with properly inputting info.

App Legit but Down

They are legit. I have cashed out around $10k worth of visa gift cards and they pay on time to my bank. They have never used the gift card without permission like others seem to say. But recently they are rejecting all transactions. I contact support and they say there is issue and development team is working on it. But after 2 weeks it’s still same issue! Now they stop responding. I don’t know how this problem is lasting this long. Please fix ASAP.

Dont trust this app

I was gift a 100$ gift card and was looking where I can cash it and after several failed attempts on scanning the gift card , it gave me the option to manually type the gift card information; soon after it asked to verify which required my ID and my bank details… as soon as I filled everything out Clicked “continue” I was logged out and was prompt with a message stating my account is disabled to contact support.. I contacted support twice and still no response Then 2 days later and I get an email stating my account is ready for use but when trying to log back in it still says account disabled… Do not trust this app… clearly a fake scam like app to collect information.

This app used to be great

When I first downloaded this app it was great! I was able to convert visa/Mastercard gift cards without any issues. But within the past year the app stopped working properly. Either wouldn’t scan perfectly good visa gift cards that used to go through no problem or the transaction would say approved but then go straight to pending. So I would be charged the immediate transaction fee but wind up waiting over 24 hours for my funds which wasn’t fair. I would contact customer service but I always received generic responses that were of no benefit. I now have stopped using and recommending this app. Maybe in the future it will go back to being the 5star version it used to be.

Truly an instant Gift Card to Cash app!

I rarely write reviews. I have to really really love something to be interested in writing one. This app is absolutely FANTASTIC!! It’s so simple and delivers exactly as they say!! You upload, submit and are given a time when the money will hit your bank account. 15 minutes later, the funds are there. I played around with 6 different “turn your gift card into cash” apps. This is the only one that is actually instant. This app deserves 10 stars.

Thank god

I had bought a $500 gift card to make online purchases since I haven’t made a bank account yet only to find out that I can’t do crap with it . I went to ask for a refund but I had no help or solution with it so I resourced to selling it to get my money back I was skeptical at first given some reviews but I had no other option. Fraud! Total scam. Don’t give your card to them!

After sending in ID verification and waiting to get cash from my gift card. I check the app to see the status and it’s gone and no history and no notification from the company. They don’t have phone staff so sent and email and I get a response saying the card issuer voided the transaction which to me makes no sense since it was a vanilla cash card. Will update review of status changes. Got an email back from them but the link to contact them doesn’t work and my money on my card is still not returned nor did I get my funds sent to me. So, I’ll chalk it up to fraud since not resolved yet. Do not give them your cards! Still nothing back. Total scam

Exactly what I was looking for

Not really sure what the bad reviews are for. This app works 100%. I get visa gift cards as incentives from my job. I don’t do a lot of shopping so I’ve been looking for a way to cash them out. I was skeptical at first, so I tried it with a $25 dollar visa gift card. Went through perfectly and since then I’ve used $200 and $500 gifts cards and have had no problems! Sure they take a small percentage, but that’s to be expected. Glad I found this app.

Good app, could use better support

This app is handy especially during the birthday/holiday seasons. The user interface is simple enough and works as intended, mostly. I used to have no trouble with the instant transfer but when I had to replace my debit card it no longer works. The only thing that changed was my expiration date and even with updating it in the app, I still have no success. When reaching out to support they just referred me to the faqs page which only says “Not all prepaid cards are eligible for instant transfer”. Overall not a bad app, just wish there was a more IT based support rather than shrugged shouldered responses.

So frustrated!!!

I used your service before without a problem and now when I try to use it again, it won’t accept my card which is no different then the first one I used except for the #’s. I see so many negative reviews on here and now I know why. Why offer a service that only works some of the time?? It’s seems to me you are losing revenue due to poor implementation of your service. It’s very frustrating to wast my time trying to get your service to work only to be “rejected” even though I have the available funds. For anyone thinking about using this service, please read all of the reviews and carefully consider if it’s worth your time and effort.

Best app for selling cards for cash.

I searched all over the Internet, trying to find a way to get my money off of a prepaid card that I didn’t realize had no cash access. With the help of this app, I was able to immediately get my money. Definitely recommend to anybody in the situation to where they don’t know how or haven’t been able to retrieve the cash off of a card that they have either bought or received.

This is legit

So I sold my gift card and it was I process told me I’d get it ima few minutes. Well I come here and start reading the critical reviews and I started panicking cause everyone saying it’s a scam but it’s not! I wish I could post pics cause I would screen shot it! It literally sent it ot my bank account within 6-7 minutes!!! I’m gonna come her all the time! Only charged me 9$ for a $50 gift card’ Everyone should know about this! This is a good app.

Horribly Glitchy App & Unreliable Program

First of all, every time I have used this app, it works for a day, then every day after that when I open the app a pop up comes up and says “and unknown error has occurred” and then it crashes , so I have to uninstall and reinstall it…again and again. As for the actual transactions, sometimes it works fine, but I’ve now experienced weeks where it’ll say that my unused and activated Visa gift card was denied, then later on, no problem with the same brand of Visa gift card, now it’s doing it again. No FAQ addresses this…it doesn’t make any sense. It’s awfully frustrating

Frustrating

The scanning feature apparently can’t always read the card info. It successfully scanned one card yet I rec’d an email saying funding would be delayed because I manually entered the card, even though the card had absolutely been scanned. Subsequently, every single gift card I have attempted to scan has been deemed unreadable by this app. Nothing satisfies the scanner— no matter how clear everything shows up on the card. I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the app. These subsequent cards are all AmEx gift cards. I wrote to the company and asked whether they simply don’t take AmEx but received no response. Also “App Support” takes you to “404 Not Found”.

This App Is Fraud

Had my account disabled out of nowhere after they refused to process charges on vanilla gift cards- just two out of the ten or so I was processing. When I try again a few times and then contact support, I get no response. Then I get an email about how they will not contact anyone who’s account was disabled due to suspected fraudulent activities- very ironic! Do not only can I not talk to support, I cannot look at my processing history, but they also have currently pending charges that I cannot access, and won’t be processed- which to me seems an awful lot like theft, as I can’t get that money now, and they have the card details. Do not get this app.

Bogus app!

First: You consistently get an error message when attempting to upload a gift card and when you contact customer support get a generic message telling you to please try back in a few days because they are experiencing difficulties with certain cards, but are working hard to fix the issue. Second: If you scroll through the reviews, which I always do, almost ALL of the 5 ⭐️ reviews are from either January 7th or March 12th. Yeah right?! Either those two days were days with a lot of business or two people sold a bunch of cards and decided to keep writing reviews for each card they sold on your site. Hmmm.. Better yet, they’re just fake reviews to bolster your bogus app!

Misleading

The app is great but its also misleading as they don't tell you that you can't instantly cash out on gift cards as you can with pre paid cards when in actuality it says on display you can choose to have payment instantly or deposit into account 2 to 3 business days later at a specific time ... when it should really say gifts cards is a 3 day wait and pre paid is instant cash out ... so if you have a gift card and need money right now don't sell it on here cause pre paid cards get better treatment and you shouldn't have to wait while the others get theres instantly

False Advertising

UPDATE: Developer reached out with same baloney offer to help that they’ve extended to all 1-star reviews. I’m not sure how they mean to fix the problem. They don’t accept the types of cards they claim to accept. That’s not something that good customer service is going to fix. I’ll just be grateful if these people don’t steal the personal info I stupidly gave them. Freeze your credit, folks. App claims to process Visa Vanilla gift cards. It doesn’t. Forces you to go through the whole process and waste your time and effort establishing your account information. Then rejects the transaction. What? They don’t want their outrageous 15% fee? Fine. Really!!??

I hesitated using this app thinking it wouldn’t work. I was so wrong! well I’m waiting for my deposit but everything seems so easy, smooth and quick!! I’m amazed!! I’ll give an update when I actually receive my money.. supposed to be tomorrow. I think this is gonna be a great relationship!! Not worth the headache.

Tried multiple times with two separate gift cards I have to places I don’t shop because they’re over an hour away to get to. The first one, couldn’t process. The second one, after multiple tries, finally gave me an offer and it was $80 less than what the gift card was for and then it kicked me off saying it couldn’t process when I started to enter the bank info for it. Now have 225 dollars in gift cards I can’t use or will have to try and use at some point when I could have used the cash for more pressing things like groceries or gas. Not worth the hassle or the headache.

What in the world

I have prepaid cards which I checked the balance on all of them and wrote them down so I wouldn’t forget and it keeps rejecting the transaction. And because I tried twice with one prepaid visa vanilla gift card and both times it failed I tried a different prepaid vanilla gift card visa this time and that one declined and now I have to wait 5 hrs to even try again and idk why and I’m starting to think it’s a scam that just requested all my sensitive info (I’m dumb I know) and then deny me immediately as if this isn’t the whole purpose of this app in the first place. Sincerely annoyed and concerned.

Easy peasy

I was a little worried at first when they said that verifying could take up to 24 hrs but I took a chance and it only took a minute. It cost a little bit more to get it instantly. I put a 125 dollar card in and if I wanted to wait it would have been 114 but I opted for the 104 instantly, a little pricey but worth it because I needed it.. thumbs up for these cats bruh

Surprisingly happy

This service was quick and easy. I was surprised actually I was afraid of getting scammed but I used the instant option and got the money in about an hour. The only downside is the fees are a little high specifically with the instant option. 15% is kinda steep but still worth it if you have a card that you aren’t using and need cash.

Quick and easy process!

This app is a lifesaver, you can convert most cards into cash! Sometimes we have gift cards we don’t plan to use at a certain place and being able to sell them easily with Prepaid2Cash makes this app amazing! I hope more gift cards are available soon for more retailers and restaurants.

Horrible

Don’t waste time to download unless you have one of only like 20 very specific gift cards that are only the most wanted name brands. They had me download stating that I could sell my Bob’s discount furniture card if I download this app and then I download it and come to find out they don’t even accept it they only buy ones from Walmart Nike and other big brands and Definitely the lowest amount of gift cards out of any of the places that buy them. What a waste to download this app for no reason so I can only give it a bad review because they made me download for no reason

Unreliable

I have 6 $100 gift cards I needed to convert. The first one I did, although I picked “instant”, took approximately 6 hours. Then I received an email that my ID had been verified and my daily transaction limit had been raised to $1,000. I was still happy at that point. Every attempt to redeem the rest of my cards from that point on was declined. Same card type and amount as the first, but all declined. So I guess two starts for the first transaction and minus three stars for not taking my 15% fees on the remaining $500.

This is the app to use if you have gift cards

I have searched and searched and no one else gives you a better % on your gift cards and the turn around is fast. No hassles, no hidden fees. I have used them four times now, and all four times have been easy, quick, and no problems! I recommend them to anyone who is stuck with gift cards.

great app

I was a bit skeptical at first with the app thinking of the process to turn a gift card into real money. I downloaded the app and followed the instructions then in about 3 days I had the remaining balance in my account. I’ve used the app a couple of times already. I can say its a great app and even taking a couple of dollars off is no big deal.

Don't Trust It!

I was only able to use it once. I tried Friday for a second time and not only do they keep declining my card but won't tell me why. When I emeiled the help desk, which by the way, you can only email not call, Ellen literally just told me that my card cannot be accepted at this time thanks. I emailed her back twice and no response. And they won't let me remove my bank account information. DON'T TRUST THIS! I'm checking my account constantly and I have my bank on alert just in case. You may get one use out of it but that's it. I think this may be a scam to collect your personal info.

I literally found out about the app, downloaded it same day. Set everything up the next morning, and within the same hour my account gets disabled. Conveniently after i save my account information as well my debit card. Along with my identification being sent. So Their response time is the only reason why i gave them 2 star rating since they were good at responding but not good anywhere else that made sense according to their policies etc

First transaction

I was very hesistant to use this site bc of all the reviews but decided and crossed my fingers it would work. uploaded a $200 giftcard i got from gamestop. it was approved and paid next business day. I just got my deposit not only the next day but earlier than the expected time they gave me .

Very skeptical of any money app

After trying and failing to sell my cards on several marketplaces and social media forums with no success, decided to try and they verified my id right away and as soon as I hit submit I can see the credit pending on my card. Good app and first one I’ve found that works. Edit: have tried three more visa gift cards exact same kind of card and no longer works. Not sure why it worked first day and now no longer does

THIS APP IS A SCAM

Looking for a way to take cash of a gift card that my friend gave me for Christmas. I came around this app it seemed legit i put my card informations in and identification i strongly agree whoever made it should just destroy the app because i’ve seen reviews. they Take peoples money and then ban them i want my money back all of it. I probably wouldn’t be bothered but this has happened to me so many times. You’re finessing your customers and it not right, i don’t recommend this app to anyone. All those 4-5 star reviews are fake. people please be careful

Scammers

The last 2 times I tried to trading my gift cards for bitcoin. First it said transaction was complete. Then they said it was pending and could take 24 hours. Then it said completed, but I got an email from them telling me it was cancelled and voided. But there was already the transaction on the blockchain. After waiting 4 hours for confirmations Bc they gave no miner fee they tried to double spend the transaction. Then they tried cancelling it. I just read on trust pilot how they used the same scheme “voided transaction” with someone else and ripped him off!
