The information you get on properties is fantastic. Majority of the time, Propstream is correct. The driving software on the app is horrendous, if you refine your search to include only a certain type of properties, they will all pop up, and you can start driving towards them, however it will not route you in any particular way, it’ll send you all over town, one side to the other and back several times. Also when driving you may have to tap the property 8 or 9 times before it actually saves. Sometimes when you want to start a drive the buttons just don’t work and is unusable. Seems like the app was rushed compared to the website version
I recently started using the mobile app more and more. Needless to say, it offers a wealth of information whenever I need info on a property on the spot. My feedback is for the Drive feature. I set my filters, drive, the map shows properties, I pull over to the side and tap to bring up the property, tap to Favorite the property, then tap Ok, then tap to close that window of the recently-saved property. Four taps to save a property. The map shows 30+ properties that meet my criteria. I have the filters set, so I will want to save the properties that come up. It’d be so much faster (and safer) if the app auto-saved the properties while you drove around neighborhoods. Maybe have a max or minimum setting. Thanks!
Seems to be a very good app but every time I use the Drive function and want it to track me by tapping the little arrow in the lower right corner I get “Location permission denied” even though I have given PropStream permission. Apple is working on it for me because they don’t know the answer either. I downloaded PropStream onto my wife’s iPhone and it does the same thing. Deal Machine works fine. If we can get this issue fixed, I will edit my review to give it 5 stars.
I love the app I been using PropStream for also 3 years is a fantastic tool for real estate investor you can go wrong with PropStream I just wish the app had a leave a note option for each lead you skip-trace after calling them evening if it’s just a dispositional note reading call back,not interested, follow up, cash buyer, etc. you get the idea, for the most part is a great solution for an investor thank you PropStream.
I like the overall features of the app, it offers most of what the software would when searching for direct properties. However, I feel that because it doesn’t have the map or search, filter and quick filter features; the app is kind of lacking in this field. Not everyone who uses the software drives for dollars so I end up like “I might as well use it on my computer” because it has more features to offer. Still a great app, could be greater.
After the last update, the app can’t track you while driving, location is set to always precise location is on. Called 3 times, they don’t have answers, requested to talk to a manager or supervisor, it been 3 weeks waiting for a fix or a call back from the manager. Moving to DEALMACHINE for sure. The best part is when I ask for some credit because the app is not functioning as it should or for what I’m paying for they said I can’t get a credit because I have the web version.. but driving for dollar app is a feature that we all paying. The $97 is to cover that as well.
I have had propstream and the app for over a year. The only thing the app is good for is d4d. Since day ONE I have not been able to effectively use this feature. I was able to use it exactly one time. In order to use the drive for dollars feature I had to uninstall the app and reinstall. I used it and the next day when u went to use the same function, same thing. You tap on just drive or even set your filters and nothing happens. Fix this propstream! I’m basically throwing away money on this feature at this point. Might as well go get deal machine..
Over all it’s a nice app. But they need to make the buttons larger on the screen, people with large thumbs can’t unselect without opening the pop up sometimes. The are so tiny and I have a pretty large screen and even on my laptop I have to squint my eyes to see it. I’ll be looking at the screen like 😣 and it hurts my eyes. If you see this please fix it your charging 100$ for this service, I should at least be able to see what I’m getting.
Overall the app is awesome and will be a game changer!!! The only thing I wish was different was the driving for dollars app, I wish you could see your previous routes while driving instead of having to go back to your mobile history and also have the app follow which direction you’re facing while D4$. I’ve also had to app crash and erase an hour of driving history as well.
PropStream is wonderful in concept and in practice sometimes. The app crashes constantly and now it isn’t even letting me login. It’s incredibly frustrating when trying to work and being unable to access my leads, drives, and resources. I hope there will be a fix to this soon. I cannot continue to restart the app mid drive several times per hour. Another thing I’d love is if the app stayed fixed in on my location and turned with me to make finding the houses on the map easier.
I’ve been getting login errors on the app for days now. Website works fine but app just attempts to open for minutes on end, and when it finally does, the same happens when looking up properties. I’ve deleted and redownloaded and same results…
Please stop logging us out. Please add the the ability to put in our passcode to automatically login as well. Enable the feature to search for cities and/or counties with filters while on the app just like we can do on the PS website. It is not productive to only allow us to search by address or geo location. I am doing Virtual real estate and this would be great. Your competition allows this feature starts with a B and ends with a ds. This would make this app 10 STARS IN MY BOOK
Propstream the service is amazing. But the app is absolutely terrible. Sure you can comp and look at tax records etc, the normal stuff you can do on the website. However the the drive feature doesn’t even work, so that’s cool. I’ve considered just doing away with Propstream all together and looking for some other service just because how buggy the app is makes dealing with the brand all together not enjoyable.
Ive been using prop-stream for 6 months i cant complaint about the overall use of the browser but the app is really bad the lack of features to save properties in the web and then access to the app and just drive plus i cant access to any saved list and if i do one i can not filter it by city for those who dont know i live in Broward county South florida if cant filter by cities it's a completely mess i have Sunrise, Plantation , Davie, Miami, Pembroke, Fort Lauderdale, Laudelake, Lauderhill, Hollywood Tamarac etc.
I use PropStream(web base) daily for my business and it’s great, but the app is almost useless. I only use it if I see something and add it to my liked properties to analyze when I get back on my computer. Other than that, the app is useless. Driving for dollars feature doesn’t work. The info given for the properties isn’t as detailed. The app won’t show your saved properties. The list goes on and on. I contacted customer service and asked if they were going to make the web base mobile compatible, and they said no. PropStream needs to dump money and either make the app similar to the web base version or make the web base mobile compatible. If you’re driving for dollars, you should go with Deal Machine.
I’ve waited so long for this software to become an app, I’ve now become super excited. I will give honest and fair reviews and alert you immediately on any hiccups I experience. Thanks for giving us what we real estate professionals needed. Much success to you Propstream!
Been using PropStream for 3 months and it does the job except when you use it to drive for Dollars. The app will terminate every 5-6 mins for no apparent reason. I contacted the customer service via FB direct message, and they told me to upgrade my app and my IOS. Ok. Done, now it crashes every 2 mins. Seems like other negative reviews have the same issues with D4D.
This app is great on the desktop, but for the paying customers the mobile app needs attention — I cannot find my saved properties, and other items I have available on the desktop version. Please address this matter.
Wow such a great tool. There are so many features it’s going to keep me occupied 24/7. Love the simplicity and detailed data. I have never seen so much information in one place. Keep up the great work, can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future.
Really needs some user interface updates. Could be more user friendly and less laggy. I would also recommend you make a dedicated iPad app as well. Thanks! I will update my review once these problem have been addressed.
PropStream, please make your app more compatible with iPad Pro. It would also be very helpful if you included the “linked properties” tab on the mobile version that is in the desktop.
I gave it 2 stars because I see the potential to use Driving for Dollars, but it just doesn’t work. I click a house, it loads, then freezes and won’t let me do anything else. If I favorite a property it takes a solid 30 seconds to do so. Not usable when trying to use in a car. Might as well write down on a notepad, it’s faster.
The IPAD version is very small and cannot be adjusted. I would love to use this app on the go but cannot. Please upgrade the software. I downloaded the app and also tried the website itself and got the same result.
When it is easier to use the desktop website on your phone than the app, you might have a problem. No map, no county search, no access to the lists you've made on your computer. Why bother making this at all? For $97 a month you'd think they could pay someone to make something useful.
Technical Support has acknowledged this and it’s been 3 weeks. I asked for a refund since this is the main thing I use and they wouldn’t even give a PARTIAL refund. All they offered was to push my billing cycle for a week which doesn’t do anything since the app isn’t working anyways. Awful customer service with terrible response times.
I have had this service for a while now but when I tried to cancel my subscription there is no option to cancel it on the website neither the app. I’ve tried to get in touch with customer service but they have yet to email me back or answer a call after weeks of trying…
I love propstream and I use it every day, but I hate having to drag my laptop around all the time, so to be able to comp a property while in there gets me in the deal faster!!!!
The data information is great. The driving for dollars needs improvement, it is very slow and the location of your vehicle is confusing when selecting a house.
The developers forgot to add a bar to sign up if you don’t have an account. I took screen shots of where it says to sign up while reading it in the app before you download it and after you download the app, it doesn’t say anywhere to sign up if you don’t have an account.
Looks like they used Fiverr to hire out the app to someone to cheaply export browser based programming to an app. It is not mobile-native, so formatting is terrible. Data is great, but it is slow, crashes often, and takes a lot of scrolling around to see the data you need.
When will there be an iPad version? The phone version looks weird on the on the tablet and would be nice to have more of the website info on the tablet. Using a browser for the web version on the tablet is way too small.
App used to work and now it simply doesn’t. Type in an address and nothing happens. It’s fine it you want to look up an address you researched before, but if it’s a new one forget it. With the monthly fee they charge you would expect a better functioning app, but I guess it’s not their priority.
As an investor and wholesaler, quality data is my top priority and Propstream simply does not meet the standard. The numbers they provide are garbage. How is anyone doing deals with this service? I’ll admit, they do have some unique property filters that aren’t offered on other apps, but what’s the use if the contact info is inaccurate? Spent three months testing another service (BatchLeads) as recommended by one of my buddies, and I tripled my deal flow. Wish I made the switch sooner.
Only useful for D4D! Cannot type or effectively search properties. What is the point?!!!! Been like this for months, based on reviews & nothing has been done. Time to look into other options.
