If it were any easier, you would literally do NOTHING!

I am an entrepreneur (at least that’s what I tell myself) and needed $10k for a business prototype. I applied for a loan and got it, but got ‘buyers remorse’ immediately as I didn’t like the terms. I contacted Prosper, and I paid back the entire amount within 72 hours and they did not charge me any fees to do so. After my credit improved, I re-applied, and received a better term. From application to the money showing up in my account it was a total of 48 hours! I would give them 6 stars if I could!

Look up

I like this bank they give me a loan you pay it back and they keep your credit very well. Customer service is very nice. Sometimes I had to get them on the phone to get to the right person to talk to besides that everything is really good if you’re going to take a loan take it with this company they give you good credit and they give you good reviews on your score.

What they do is completely the opposite of what they say

If you apply for a very small amount of personal loan through prosper, at the beginning they tell you that it won’t affect your score to see if you are pre-approved for the loan but once you enter all your info and submit they do a hard inquiry on you your credit, then they start to ask you uploading a different document every day. If you apply for even a very small amount of personal loan YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE THEM WITH THE ALL THE INFO BOTH FINANCIAL AND PERSONAL INFO OF YOUR PAST 7 GENERATION. Anyone who wants to apply for a loan through them please be make sure to contact them and record the conversation before you apply and enter your info. Thanks!

Yay! A Prosper Personal Loan App Is Here!

I have been waiting for an app to be made for personal loans since I took my loan out in July for my large purchase, and it’s finally here! Seems easy to navigate to view information and make payments. My experience with my prosper loan has been quite good, so I’ll definitely be taking out my next loan with Prosper because this app will make my experience that much easier. Hooray!

Excellent Application and Company

I absolutely love the online Prosper site!!! It is unbelievably fast, detailed and so very easy to utilize. Thank you Prosper you’ve done your homework and although I have no clue who the writer/programmers are that created this application I have to say it’s refreshingly easy to access, control and do what you need to quickly!

This bank seems FRAUDLENT. Locked my credit file

I’m trying to check to see about my loan status and every time the message “ we’re experiencing unusual longer than normal wait times and your wait can be more than 10 minutes. So I sat on the phone for 13 minutes someone answered ruffling the phone and then he acted like he couldn’t hear me and then just transferred me back into que. I’m currently still on hold and it’s been 40 minutes. I got time today. Even though this was offered thru Credit Karma, I’ve locked my credit file just incase this was some type of scam.

High interest credit card/loan alternative

Great to have an alternative way to pay for purchases/debt consolidation other than high interest credit cards! Have used them several times! Easy to apply. Automatically deducted from checking account!

Submarine with screen doors

My primary bank stopped allowing drafts from checking last month. Spent over an hour attempting to remove that account and add another last month. So this payment cycle rolls around and you guessed it drafted on wrong bank AGAIN, AFTER ANOTHER HOUR... I'm told that I can't make a payment OR change the account. You either need to make some changes to your system OR hire customer service agents that have English as A language and perhaps a first one. This is Damned ridiculous, nor able to make a payment

Transparency makes all the difference. I love Prosper.

This company has always been 100% upfront and transparent regarding the multiple unsecured loans I have been approved for. Competitive rates, great customer service have really helped build trust. My experience has always been totally positive. In a world full of predatory lenders, choose Prosper and smile.

Will be returning!

This has been the easiest personal loan company I’ve ever used. Very easy to navigate through the app. The funds were sent to my account in two days. They report to all three credit agencies on time. I will be using them for now on.

Constant sign in

I’ve been using prosper app since I became a customer. In the beginning, I had no issues…can use the face recognition and viola. Within the last year, I now have to constantly login. I can put the password in and hit the face recognition to keep it but nope didn’t work. Uninstalled and reinstalled still doesn’t work. I’ve been using the website since.

Convenient

I’ve used prosper 3 or maybe 4 times. I like the simplicity of the app, the prompt response, and of course the willingness to work with me. I’m an independent contractor (tattoo artist) and often times it’s difficult to be approved without a W2. Prosper has always approved me and it’s been a great tool for me

Simplicity I desire in every app

A 2-year old could use this app if they really needed too. Now that might be scary considering it’s for loans but the simplicity is what makes it so great. You sign in, see your balance, the due date, and just tap to pay. The UI looks good as well.

This process was so easy! Got a way lower rate to consolidate my credit cards - and making payments is so easy on the app, checking information on the app is incredibly user friendly! 10/10 recommend!

Good Product — Needs an Audit System for Customer Service

Has a rude and impatient customer service rep. Got 3 “As I told you already’s” when trying to voice my concern over principle only xtra payments. I don’t know. If everything will go smoothly for the life of this loan. The loan really helped me get out of an extremely high interest rate

Best loans out there

I applied with bad credit, thinking maybe I could get a loan with a high twenties or so interest rate. Instead I got a loan with 13% interest rate and I am loving this loan. I consolidated a car loan with a interest rate of 125% annually. If I ever need a personal loan again I know exactly who I am going too.

Auto pay

The app says next automatic payment and shows the date. When I set loan up I specifically said no auto pay. I emailed them after the first payment was taken auto and plus I paid it. After being told one thing, another person said the auto pay was just the first one and every other is manual. I pay a few days early and have not seen it again but every time I login it still says auto pay is set up and they assure me it isn’t.

Still need to use web app

While a 2nd loan is pending, the app only shows a “We’re reviewing your info” screen with no ability to view my other information. The website does not have this problem. Also, Face ID does not work, although it may be due to not being able to access the rest of the app. — I suppose it’s a minor bug 🐛, but I can’t review the rest of the app until I can access it.

Prosper App

Great concept however, this app would of received 5 stars if payment amount would of been immediately withdrawn from my checking account therefore, I would not have to keep in the back of my mind off the amount scheduled for my Prosper payment. It should be enter payment amount, press send, money out of account, out of mind.

Is prosper worth it ?

Absolutely This is by far the easiest financial institution to work with. I will be paying off everything early and will be using Prosper again in the future. Keep it up Prosper. You have customer for life.

Was easy, I could actually talk to a person if needed. Could do pay off on app vs. having to get a cashier check and mail. Will most definitely use them again for my loan needs.

DI NOT RECOMMEND!!

Prosper is a very shady lender! I was looking around for a small loan with best interest rates, they told me the loan would be under 10% which they lied and processed the loan without my permission! I made ALL my payments on time and even paid off early! They reported it as “closed” instead of paid off!!! It dinged my credit -13 points! All the representatives are foreign, don’t speak English and just hang up on you! They refused to assist and change their mistake on reporting to agency!

Unbelievable bad

They are terrible to contact, rude, and unprofessional. When I cancelled my application they assured me that it was in fact canceled, then I noticed the deposit in my account 2 days after I told them I didn’t want their loan. I turned down their offer when I noticed that they hide a “origination fee” that is ver high. I’m sure it will be a painful task to call in and get this fixed… unbelievable!…

Do not use

I didn’t qualify for a loan with a good enough APR so i checked other offers. Note : By doing this, They sell all your information and you will get hounded by debt reduction/personal loan companies. They sell your information and their opt out method is a complete lie. If you want to be hounded by scam debt reduction companies or Sketchy loan sharks, By all means, Give them your phone number/social/Address.

Too good to be true

I understand that not everyone can be approved, but I need help badly with bills. I downloaded the app in hope it would loan me, also basing it off the reviews for downloading. And it said no credit check, then it checked my credit. Then said no. Well thanks for the false hope. Guess I’ll just have to look else where

Worthless

Not a good site or company for helping. I would have been better off contacting a loan shark. Plus the people who work there are absolutely horrible. I hate myself for even thinking about getting involved with this group. My advice just use your own personal bank. Very sad to say but they are hateful, mean, degrading and flat out wretched.

Hmmm...

I'm grateful for the opportunity to utilize their resources. I find that there's a breakdown of communication when dealing with the reps that help qualify you. There's also a glitch on the app that made my automatic payment late(?!). Not sure how that happens but the whole experience could be improved.

Not great but not horrible

Changing banks on your account is the biggest hassle. Refuses to remove old bank account and continue to charge it even after you’ve posted the new one. A little difficult to navigate.
