Needed my fridge fixed the same day and this was the only app that had availability. The technician came out an hour after I booked and fixed it right away saving $500+ of food.
Zero stars…Do not use this company! They sent 2 technicians to repair my Samsung flex-washer for a drainage and door locking issue. I spent $1,000 and was left with a machine that was completely useless. $450 of that was for a new locking mechanism and board that were never installed. The technician couldn’t figure it out so he just removed the locking system altogether and tricked the machine into thinking it was locked. Not safe and I paid for new parts! Ultimately, I was forced to purchase a new machine as my family needs to wash clothing. I requested a refund and offered video proof of the broken machine. They refused, telling me that a technician had to examine the issue. I advised that they had 1 week while my new machine was on order. They delayed and never showed for an inspection. They also refused to refund me. At this point I filed a credit card dispute. Save yourself the frustration and expense. Seek services elsewhere.
My last experience with them was absolutely horrible. Their Tech Alais made my machine worse than it began. I had another company come look at it. As soon as he took the top off he refused to do anything else because it was completely f$&@3d up!! I sent pictures of all the messed parts their tech left. The machine cannot be used in the state it is in and I have had to purchase a new washing machine. They are refusing to refund my money. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and getting my lawyer involved. This ordeal has been absolutely horrible and mentally draining!!!! Trying to talk to a supervisor is like trying to talk to the dead!!! They tell you a supervisor isn’t available and take a message but a supervisor never calls back. Right at this moment I have been on hold 58 mins waiting for a supervisor. I will never recommend this company to anyone!
We were deeply displeased with our Puls experience. The technician, while friendly, took almost three times longer to complete our project than quoted. The app promised that if prices changed from the initial estimate, we would “have a chance to review final pricing before the work begins.” While our technician took almost six hours instead of two, we were never notified of an adjusted price estimate—and certainly never given the opportunity to decline a higher price. It was only after the technician left, having never said a word about changing the price, that the app then updated to show a significantly higher charge almost triple our quote. After calling customer service, they listened to our story, agreed we were wronged, and then refused to take off more than $30 from our multi-hundred dollar upcharge. We will never use Puls again.
The first tech came out to “fix” our broken dishwasher, but left it worse than before and refused to come back to look at it again. I called customer service who tried to send the same tech back, and I got three angry phone calls in the span of 5 minutes from the tech. I called customer service back again and told them the situation, they said they would get a new tech out to look at the dishwasher. We have scheduled this follow up THREE TIMES and THREE TIMES it has been cancelled because no tech had “been in the area.” So I’m now out $250, my dishwasher is still broken, and I’m going with another company. Massive headache, I wish I would have read the reviews prior to using.
If I could give a 0 stars review I would. I originally had an awesome experience with mounting TVs, Walace did an outstanding job and I was very looking forward to working with Puls. I even signed in for their “plan” to make sure I had all necessities taken care of but I was in for a disappointment. I’ve been rescheduled 5 times for handyman job, not a response, not an apology. On the last one, their webpage literally said “404 - page not found”. I called their office: “well we can reschedule again but we don’t know if we will reschedule again”. What type of business is this? All of this experience has been a complete disappointment and shows how unprofessional they are. On top of that, I don’t get refunded for my yearly plan which I already paid in full. Save yourself and look somewhere else. This is false advertising company offering “same day service” just for you to get rescheduled.
They sent someone out to my home to fix a leak in my shower. The technician showed up to my home without any tools and needed to borrow tools from me. Then he continued to work on my shower’s water shut off for 30 minutes, where he needed to use my tools as well as some WD 40. This resulted in his stripping my water shut off valve. After complaining, they wanted to charge me to have someone else come out to fix it when THEIR technician was the one to stripped it and did not fix my original leak. Save yourself the headache and hire real licensed technicians.
I had them send a technician out to fix a the heating element in my dryer. He took all day and completely dismantled the dryer and then said he would be in touch about coming back again to finish the job. He then ghosted us and canceled when I made another appointment. Puls then sent out a second technician that couldn’t even get the dryer to start when he was done. They need to do a better job vetting their technicians. Then they offered only a refund for the technicians time and no reimbursement for the broken dryer
This app is the business — I use puls probably 1x/month with all of my home decor purchases for my walls and furniture setups! This app makes it so easy to get someone to help me out! Thanks Puls!
Horrible app to manage membership, they still charged me after I cancelled my membership, I had to change my credit card number and they somehow managed to charged my new credit card number I never gave them! Customer phone support is horrible, they don’t answer my emails Inexcusable
Do not use! I had a technician that totally scammed me. When paying for his service he did everything on his phone and had me hand over my CC. Little did I know, he signed me up for their monthly subscription without telling me. I reached out to support to cancel my subscription and they were rude and unhelpful telling me I had agreed to the terms and conditions despite the technician misleading me and signing me up without my knowledge or consent. After multiple condescending emails, they agreed to cancel my subscription, but it has now been multiple months and they are still charging me and ignoring my outreach. Do not use!!!
I paid for Puls + and for the past month have been trying to schedule a repairman for a dishwasher and the appointment keeps getting cancelled. This service is useless if no one shows up when you make an appointment. My guess is Puls sub contracts local workers and local workers don’t want to deal with such a poor company and refuse to work for them. Avoid!!!
Worst company EVER! Rescheduled me twice and still never showed! App said my technician arrived at 2:21 but by 3:18 still nothing, and he wouldn’t even respond to my chat request. Tried calling company but of course they were closed already. As I type this review, I just received a text for payment from them. HA! SERIOUSLY??? Going back to Thumbtack for home services.
I received bad service and requested a refund from PULS but they refused and offered me a $20 coupon instead. I still have a broken appliance. The advice I was given was incorrect and I had to get a second opinion. I would not recommend the service to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
I don’t think this company vets there contractors. Mine showed up to a TV wall mount in flip flops and with a drill that wasn’t powerful enough. He ended up not using all the lug screws that came with the TV mount and opted for smaller ones because he was struggling to get them in because he didn’t have the right drill. He refused to use the stud finder and now I have a bunch of pilot holes in my wall. The whole time I was thinking I could have done this. I won’t be surprised if my TV ends up falling on the ground at some point. And I would have overpaid for it. DO NOT USE
Their auto renewal policy is nearly thievery. I never saw the communication they sent about auto renewal. Had I seen it I would have cancelled as I have moved outside their service area. Upon seeing my card billed, I attempted to cancel, explaining why. Puls refused to refund me. I repeatedly escalated my request and they repeatedly refused.
Having this app was so incredible when our garage door needed service. It's so difficult finding someone on the spot, for such a high security issue. There was no problem finding a great technician and it was a true lifesaver for us.
I don’t want to support a company who doesn’t care about their customers or their technicians. Clearly evident by technicians trying to get work outside the app and when I try to cancel they charge me additional money just to pad their bottom line.
Do NOTTTTT use this app. The tech was nice but they get you on the hook for a bunch of money with this “membership” and that do not care about their customers if you want to cancel. They charged me so much money when I tried to cancel. Awful awful company.
Watch out for $9.90 “support (hidden)fee”. They estimated $600 to repair my washer when a similar washer sells for $599!!! On my fridge, this poor technician worked 3 hours to make $100 out of a $400 repair.... he was enraged and showed me the numbers. He also had to pay for his parking $10!!! I felt so bad I had to give him a good tip...
I paid almost $300 for one f** furniture to be build, they were two and they spent 4 hours. And they didn’t even clean nothing. They’re clearly not experienced at all and really expensive. Definitely don’t use this app!!
Hired once for a job - we paid a lot and the installation was generally faulty. And puls+ can’t be easily cancelled, don’t fall for their fake discount (which only brought the cost down to reasonable in the first place) it will cost you more.
Had a technician out to fix a leaking water hose for a fridge. After 3 different visits attempting to fix the issue, hose still leaks. This company does not vet their contractors. You’re much better off finding a local company for any issue.
They just keep making you reschedule, the times on the app you choose for your appointment are not actual. So you just have to hope someone comes at that time.
I had a horrible experience with this company, the technician was late the first day, and didn’t show the second visit, I ended up paying almost twice the quote I was initially given, terrible customer service.
This is a third party hiring/booking agency that sends out unqualified technicians working on pure commissions at a higher cost than calling a local company. If I could give it zero or minus stars I would.
I’m suppose to have them here between 10 am & 11am Now reading all these reviews I’m afraid to let them in. Not one good review. Ice been taken before and now so afraid of contractors or repair men .
