Been waiting a year, worth the wait
gameplay is super fluid once you get the hang of it, on of the things I kind of dislike is the amount of things flashing at you, and the buttons on the home page the game is SUPER free to play friendly, you could do about 4 1:00-2:00 minute battle and you would get enough to get a supply drop, and only 10 supply drops get you a S or A ranker, plus even the starter characters are super powerful, another down side is with leveling up.. sometimes a level could be super hard and you don’t have anything to level yourself up.. your just stuck with under leveled characters until you find a way to get yourself up to a certain level where the level is actually playable (unless you have super ultra godly dodging skills, ignore that) but for now this is coming from a new player and I’m level 30 for commander level, I don’t usually write stuff this long but I felt like it deserved it, thank you for reading. I lost my main account, I was a first-day player, but I made a new one and now I’m lvl 53😒 anyways bye Now I’m in the “end game” part and to be honest, there’s not much to do in this game except play the story, fight, and uhhh upgrade your characters.

Really good game!
Hi there, I’ve never wrote a review before but I had to for this game, it’s amazing! The graphics are beautiful and the story is really interesting, I find myself running into battle unprepared to read the lore! This game isn’t for everyone though, and it can be a bit tedious, like if you wanted to get to the next chapter but had to be a certain level. Of course this game will not a appeal to all people, but if you like fun gameplay, well designed characters, and post apocalyptic stories, this is definitely the game for you! I haven’t play as long as some other people but I have played long enough to get the basics, it has really lovely character designs and easy to learn combat (the stigma’s are also really good looking!). The constructs (characters) in the game are really cute or handsome and their play styles are unique! In my opinion, I think it’s a fantastic game! The gacha system is also a lot more generous than some other games like this I play, which I’m so grateful for and it’s completely Free to Play. The only problem I have with it is the instructor system, when I complete my “assignments” for the week they just sit there and I don’t get any stigmas. I think it might be the instructors fault, I don’t really know but other than that this game nearly perfect, I love it and I will definitely continue playing! (*´꒳`*)

Very, very, very good
Amazing art, sound, visuals, story and gameplay. What else do you need. Since I don’t make a habit of continually pumping money into games, the prices/difference in versions doesn’t concern me much. That being said, If the amount of resources per purchase was a little more, like some say of the other versions, I would be more willing to spend. I’m level 52 with no purchases, 1 SS, and 4 S characters and weapons, and not even close to being done with current content. AND the grind so far has been no grind at all. Plenty of different options to grind, events and character story content that I haven’t been close to being bored. I’m sure leveling will get tougher but I’ve already had a blast. Also so far the amount of free energy refills and gacha pulls has been enough for a decent amount of play time daily. I would like to make one purchase to support but so far nothing makes me want to drop and havent needed to. Anyway a must play if your into anime/gacha as a ftp for a few weeks at the very least. I’m hoping it keeps me going a couple months. We’ll see how the events and new content go. Maybe a “sale” event on cards?

Lots of buttons&real addicting
I just downloaded this game and .. it’s real addicting, I could honestly play it hours on top of hours but there is a lot of extra buttons to click. I also think maybe in another version update you could put a dubbed setting, technically what I mean is in the settings there is a way to make the accents English or something like that, it would be amazing. But otherwise the game is real awesome and super addicting. I would to be honest play this game instead of a Honkai game. The sprinting reminds me a little bit of another anime game I play called: “MHA Strongest Hero” still in my opinion. The graphics, sound, shadows, etc. is awesome in this game too. But it also reminds me of Genshin Impact a little bit with the character graphics, but either one of those games are really awesome and addicting to play, I don’t mind either one. In my opinon, the game os really awesome, the storyline is great, all the graphic settings and everything is splendid, still there is a lot of buttons and some but the novelty of this game feels the same as any other Honkai games

Just some guy
First off thank you kuro games for all your hard work. If your like me at first I wasn’t sure what PGR was beneath the beautiful action combat and sci-fi aesthetic. Well it finally hit me. This is an experience none like other on mobile. The devs respect the players time and best interest. This is a game you can depend on. What do I mean. Well the game always has an event running while simultaneously adding new units through updates to the game and story. Sure there is grind but most of it can be skipped hence the respecting of your time. Maybe at first you will feel overwhelmed but As you get it the game becomes very straight forward. They want you to log in > grow stronger > get challenged and have fun. You can also fact check this bc it blew my mind but for just the monthly pass (5$ a month) you can basically have every new unit that drops. If you skip and save you can even get their weapons etc. I don’t know what else to say but thank you kuro games and to you the reader … give this game a try. Remember games are supposed to be fun and give it some time. Things will click <3

Easily the best action RPG on mobile
Been playing this since launch and it has been a fantastic experience. It plays like a blend of Nier and Devil May Cry but with anime styled graphics and a large cast of playable characters due to its gacha system. Unlike other gachas it is very skill based as the combat is nuanced with lots of room for skill expression. In terms of gacha is it definitely F2P friendly, you can guarantee every new character without paying a cent. All rewards from events are also obtainable for non spenders once they have a decent sized roster built up. My only complaint is that the content patches are fairly spaced out, about 5 to 6 weeks apart, so there are some weeks with little to do. The global version is still early in its lifecycle and is missing many QOL features and game modes that other servers have. But it’s catching up fast and each patch feels like an expansion pack with the amount of content that is added. Overall I’d say PGR is a must try for action RPG fans, it’s a console level experience on mobile with tons of content planned for the next few years.

Top gacha game
Without a doubt one of the best gacha games out there. The combat is the biggest highlight of the game being very fast paced and skill heavy. Some good player skills can definitely make up for a lack in equipment which is a rare feature gachas. Characters are unique and have great aesthetic designs. Story is a bit slow at the beginning but ramps up significantly around the later chapters. Graphics and soundtrack are above average when it comes to other gachas. The gacha system itself is quite fair considering the amount of currency you can get every week. If you save and plan ahead you’ll be able to get a majority of the important units. The reason for many one star reviews is people pulled on the wrong banner which is their own fault for not double checking. The second and bigger reason is that global is being treated worse than jp. I think that people’s views are justified but as a f2p player that doesn’t care too much about cosmetics it’s doesn’t personally affect me much. Overall a very unique gacha experience that should be given a try.

I’m addicted!
First off, I’d like to state that the game does crash, but I’ve found a solution: turn some of the graphics settings down. That should fix it and allow you to play without crashes! It’s a very fun game with a lot of strategy and thinking, you don’t just mash buttons without an understanding to get results, which is a very fun detail! The characters are very beautiful and I’m in love with the story and interactions and I’m very happy they’ve finally added English dubbing. Some cons though… for one, there are so. Many. Weapon types! It feels like with every character there’s a new weapon type to come with them. It’s getting better but still. Second, grinding up the gold card things. At least for me, it’s a nightmare. I think it’s so hard for me because of how much stamina stuff they give you per day, or how much it takes to do one round of grinding. It’s seriously annoying to multibattle one round of cogs and suddenly you have no more stamina. Please fix this!! I would recommend the game! It’s super fun despite the stamina problem.

This will never change
I see a lot of people complaining about bosses killing you in one shot and that the game is too hard. This game is not for players who want to smash one or two buttons and the boss is dead. The combat is absolutely amazing for a mobile game! This game actually relies on skill rather than spending money and one shotting bosses, sure the more money you spend the stronger your characters gets, but that all goes down the drain if you can’t dodge fast enough or time your dodges. Many PGR followers who have been following the Chinese Version(which is 1-2yrs ahead) knows that this game will never get easier, there will be even harder modes in the future, so if you’re looking for a game to feel overpowered and can’t be bothered to dodge most of the time, this game is NOT for you. For the people complaining about it being “TOO HARD” need to just leave. The problem isn’t the game, the problem is you. PGR is never going to get easier, so stop wasting your time and leave this game to people who want challenges and hard combat.

Good but…
So this game seems fantastic, with its very good music, voice acting, graphics and frame rate…but doesn’t it seem the same to you? To me it felt like another Genshin/Honkai Impact clone 🙄 For starters it’s hard to re-roll because to summon you have to finish 12 stages in a chapter and THEN you can summon. Multis are 2500 tickets which is way too much unless stages give you 5-300 per. Didn’t see controller support, so instant carple tunnel with all these movements, I’d much rather prefer just the tap and click games. Games like these need auto or just be better for consoles or PC. I’m just getting horror flash backs of my Honkai days. If you never played the latter 2 games and this is your first, it’s not a bad game, just nothing that blew me away. Oh and character designs…THIS is where I’m like yeah…Genshin clone, cute at best…nothing like whoa time to whale for this unit! 👀 Nope no eye candy just yeah they’re cute/cool and that’s it. We’ll see how far this game goes, but I feel it’ll be left in the dust behind other games.

The most silly activity so far
It is just a complain. It is rogue activity, but you need to do a different place to earn random buff. That means one need to do 20min game thousands of time in order to get the buff you need. By the way, the buffs pool is really small. Just add base or element attack, increase recovery, enhance change speed and increase certain character,s skill. So, while there is no funny random here, just another silly farming process. Also, the monsters in this farm area has really high attack, so one need to focus one attention in order not to die suddenly. What’s more, since it put some strong elite monster in the farm area, when I want to kill them first, the stupid targeting system always target the farthest one. Besides, it put lots of strong boss in the farm, those who willing jump everywhere with a time limit ,so half the time, I just waist 20min earn nothing. I just want to ask. Is there any reason to make farm so hard. In addition , each character can enhance just use those buff. And to pass a stage, one need to enhance 15 characters, each need hundred buffs to reach stage’s recommended level. So, in short, I guess I need to place it at least 3 hr a day in order to reach their need. Are you insane!

Lovely characters
PGR is one of the better action style gachas out there. However, the later you start, the rougher it will be to get past characters you want. It is very grindy and will take you a while to build complete teams. The difficulty of the combat varies on the player’s playing skill. You can decently get by with A-rank characters once you max out their shards (farmable) and do their leaps (farmable upgrades). There is guaranteed pity for new/patch current characters and 70% pity for older characters at 60 pulls. The plot is good and the way the characters are written with their development is also one of the best parts of PGR. The smaller cast size makes you get to know them quite well and care about them. They start out tropey, but the later writing makes them more realistic and believable with depth. Their designs are also appealing without making them dress skimpy. Give PGR a try if you’re tried of games pumping out waifu #600 that you won’t care about.

Honkai rip off?? NOT!
Anyone saying this is a clone game or whatever are smooth brained lol. The combat is wild fluid, the combos are insane, the character design is pretty sick. My 2 only issues are the stamina regen takes forever (6 mins for 1) but the thing is it doesn’t feel true to that formula. As in if i wait a little more than 2 1/2hrs i should be back up at 160 but in my case i only got 30 back.... That and the drop rates are kind of a pain. I only say kind of because you can get a lot of the black cards (free in game optional buy) via the weekly challenges. But other than that I don’t have any complaints really i enjoy the game and feel like its combat is wayyyyyyy better than hi3 like I couldn’t even get into hi3 because the combat got so stale so quick for me. PGR I’m pulling off 300+ combos upwards to 1k+ combos ( for when I’m under lvld) but it’s great the 3 character combo system makes this amazing.

Beauty badly handled
PGR is a game I’ve looked forward to for quite some time. The gameplay is great and top notch for mobile. The reason for the low rating is the other critical component to games that provides long-term value: the live service. The game is still early, but there are some serious red flags around service quality and the treatment of players that seems to raise some concerns around long-term investment here. The cost of premium currency is significantly different (increased) in the global version from the previous two releases and it is carved up into inapplicable values that don’t directly apply to the store. You end up having to buy more than you need. The first live-event that features a new skin as a final reward is impossible to clear without paying to acquire the event currency. When questions were raised about all these issues, the developer offered no meaningful solutions. We’re just at the beginning here, but these are not good signs. I’d hold off before overly committing to this game. If things improve I will definitely return to update this score.

Amazing and fun
The game is amazing. A lot of fun very addictive but also has some draw backs in terms of mechanics in the later game. For example those archer characters the enemy ones never miss even if you do a perfect dodge still get hit that’s one of the more annoying ones. Scaling is pretty bad too some enemies deal way too much damage and yes I understand but this damage is like 90% of your health in a basic attack and your battle power is like 1000 over the recommended. The early game many people will enjoy completely but once you hit mid and early late game it will deter many players because of how grind intensive it becomes. I mean genshin and honkai aren’t as bad as this and we all know how bad genshin is in terms of grinding. Im in late game and it’s horrendous asked customer support and their response was to spend real $ to solve my problems. Lol nope. Don’t get me wrong great game horrible customer service with recommendations on problem solutions and very vague in terms of issues on help. Avoiding even the most basic of answers you might look for, for a straight answer. All in all game is fun. If you’re looking for a masochist simulator like genshin and honkai you will love pgr. If you are looking for a quick fun game to pass time with great graphics this is good for you too. Not looking for that intensive of an experience avoid.

So we have a clone of Honkai Impact
Honestly, game is fun and all - but I noticed a lot of similar vibes to Honkai Impact and it bothered me a little bit. So let’s start with bad: a lot of unnecessary grind for your leveling of the characters, but the missions do not force you to have all your characters on the same level, just you need to be good enough for completing it. Gameplay feels weird - I played it and got a feeling after completing 5 chapters that each mission feels the same to me (except for the part with where you can play as a villain of the chapter) Now for the good parts - I enjoy interactions with characters, something that a lot of games need these days to actually form a bond with the ones you command. How I mentioned before: story progression is good (you can use low level heroes to win higher level maps, but you do need to be mindful of your team composition - while the game does provide a good rooster) Variety of different equipments that can be put on your characters to either bring out their best stats even further or fill the holes necessary for their 200% performance boost. Now to summarize everything with a suggestion to the developers: fix your stamina system (make it more allowable for players to spend more time playing instead of waiting for hours for stamina to replenish) and make gameplay a little bit more diverse and engaging. Overall mark is 3 out of 5 for me. A lot of work still needs to be done!

Like the Hack and Slash Genre? This is for you.
Looking at the Review charts, you see mostly 5s, then a bunch of 1s that are trying to bring the game down for no reason…Don’t know why so many 1 star reviews came out of nowhere, but ignore them since they are attacking the game for no reason. Title says it all. You like the hack and slash? This game has it. Guns, swords, daggers, arrows, and plenty more coming for the characters that you will get to unlock. Obviously the company isn’t going to give you your maximum potential of your characters off the start of playing the game. That’s when you get to grind to gather materials for characters, and black cards, to gain access to more weapons, and characters. Great game. Can’t wait to play this when my stamina refills fully. Great animation, and effects. Try the game out, cause when starting the game, they give you a lot of stamina to mess with.

It’s imperfections makes it perfect
I honestly don’t know why this game does not make it to 5star or at least 4.5 stars rating , yes it has some mechanics that some aren’t use to but it doesn’t make it bad when other’s are so great at the even with this same mechanics, it’s one of the best games out there and one of the best gatcha games out there period, for a gatcha game it super f2p friendly and makes it so that even f2p players don’t suffer in getting done with certain stages and it bring some hard stages too but nothing that grinding and building your characters won’t help with , it makes your hard work worth it , it’s a really awesome game and I love playing it and I recommend everyone should play, you’ll really love it waifus and Husbando too especially this new patch with swimsuits are looking rather exquisite. Definitely worth a try.

The game is Okay. 7/10
So after having spend enough hours in the game and even going as far as spending money on it I can safely say my original impression is somewhat unchanged. The game overall is very well made but story wise it absolutely doesnt have the oomph. Like the story feels rushed. There is hardly any character development outside of maybe Lucia and some others. I am on the final chapter and I literally dont remember half of the events from previous chapters cause they feel like they lack some sort of connection even though they are pretty well connected. The stages fell very linear but I don’t expect much out of them anyway so no big deal there. I hope the devs take their time with future arcs cause so far the story just feels rushed. Gacha is okay I guess. Nothing special there but I do appreciate the amount of premium currency we can acquire per week. That is indeed a plus.

Probably the most underrated game ever.
Game play is incredibly smooth, story is great but you can always skip it if you’re just here for the character and battle design. Game mechanics are pretty easy to pick up, for a gacha in my opinion things are priced fairly, it is NOT pay to win, and ads aren’t popping up on your screen every 5 seconds to try to swindle you. Amazing skins (including SPECIAL FX SKINS that change the way character’s attacks look), challenging content for sweats, and extremely fun for casuals. Black cards (in game currency) can be earned pretty easily especially as a new player. Just save wisely and you can get every new character! Perfect game whether you want to chill or go for rankings. The only things I wish this game had was a more versatile co-op system and that they advertised more so that more people would play. :)

Great Game, but Wait To Spend
I downloaded this game on launch and I’ve been having a bunch of fun. Obvious similarities to Honkai, but if you’re looking for a darker more serious story and aesthetic this would be the alternative option. Characters look great and the gameplay is very smooth except some lag in coop. Welcome rewards and the launch rewards give you a lot of currency to work with, the only hesitancy would be for $$$ spenders to just wait it out a bit longer and watch how the devs treat the game. There’s been some controversy already over non-consumer friendly treatment of the global servers and it’d be smart to watch over the next month for whales and dolphins to see if they really want to start putting money in and what the future looks like. For now F2P or monthly pass buyers can probably still make it to to pity for the next event banner so come and join, it’s really fun!

About what I expected from a free mobile game
The gameplay is a solid implementation of fluid combat (pun intended), the mechanics are easy enough to learn and quite satisfying. The story is fantastic for the most part, there’s some occasional cringe/cheesy dialogue but a solid visual novel overall, and story chapters can be completed easily even with critically underdeveloped characters. If you’re here to just experience the story then this is absolutely fantastic. There’s also monthly events and minigames, like maze and puzzle solving, but aside from some cosmetics that only hardcore fans or perfectionists chase after, they don’t serve any sense in my opinion. Now for the bad: The Free to Play experience. Like I said previously, story chapters can be progressed really easily, but outside of it, once you’re chasing leaderboard scores and/or items to level your squad, it becomes a stupid grind. There’s something called the 80/20 rule, where 80% of the result is achieved by just 20% of effort, and this absolutely applies here. Once you’re at a certain point you basically hit a wall, requiring you to play for an hour daily for a whole MONTH. At this point I just quit the game, what use is chasing leaderboards when it is just several dozen bucks away for someone else?

Pretty fun
Now this game reminds me of Honkai but with Ig a little bit nicer odds in its gatcha system though knowing that it already hit top 10 on the App Store in multiple regions I do think the rewards of just 1000 cards was a bit underwhelming. Normally hitting such a big goal and having so many downloads yet that’s basically all we got. I mean sure we got a skin for starting Lucia but it’s starting Lucia. Most starting characters gets dropped immediately once a better version or other higher ranked characters are out. It’s all fun and good but I really do think the rewards for such big feat is really underwhelming. I’m sure the fan base surely should’ve gotten a bit more, I hope I’m not acting like it’s not enough but it really is how I feel. Normally other games would’ve given such a grandiose amounts of rewards or like free multi summons.

Game is good with a few criticisms
Gameplay is solid fun nothing too complicated but does a lot to separate itself from other games of the genre. Fun game with an interesting story. The only gripes I have is the gacha rates are really bad and saving up for the pulls are longer than games like Genshin. The other problem is the menu navigation. It’s not confusing but it’s grossly inconvenient. Quest, rewards, achievements rewards, dailies, missions rewards and other things like it all require you to back out to main menus to choose them. Even though they all are functionally the same. And also leveling up your gear falls into the same issue. Gets frustrating after leveling up 3 characters and now you have to level up like 9 different things on one character. Just make it more convenient pleas

A good time waster
Yep just a good time waster. The graphics are good, the story is good (though confusing as there’s many different events and things to do that give story and you just have to piece it together and then wonder if it’s even canon), the gameplay is honestly solid. But it’s repetitive and you can definitely be burnt out, it’s like the same stage with a different skin and each stage lasts less than 2 minutes. There’s no intuitiveness just move kill move done. No exploration or hidden secrets cool things. And the stages are heavily locked you can’t go out and explore. The BC system is honestly not the best 1 ten pull is 2500BC… why not just bring it down to 1,000 or do something similar to GI 10 “tokens” for a 10 pull 1XX for one token. I’ve been a day one (granted I left the game alone for like months after I got bored of it) and it’s a good gacha just repetitive and quick to run out off things to do once you use up serum.

Virtual Horizon Ex-06
I would like to see the game developers/testers play this level themselves. The Boss has many 1-hit kill attacks against your max level characters, it kills your character with one mid-air combo, and if you try to switch in another character to interrupt the combo? No. The Boss combo interrupts it and kills your call-in character during their slow call-in attack animation. Don’t get me wrong. The aesthetics are great and it’s the fact that teams of max-level characters get one-shot by the boss makes it unenjoyable. I am veteran dark souls 3 player who’s enjoyed the genre and Virtual Horizonal Ex-06 is just designed to screw with the player. I would like to see the game developers play this level themselves and die to the Boss’ instantaneous attacks before their characters animation even finish. Good luck dodging during the Boss’ long 1-hit-kill combos while having passive health loss and half your opponent’s attack speed. If I could get a refund of my long hours trying to beat this level under these ridiculous conditions I would. 刮痧游戏 刮泥马

Should be one star, but combat is fun
Why am I rating this game so low? Well for one, the controls aren’t optimized as they should be and it takes some time to stop mixing up the attack and dash buttons. For another, I spent several hours playing and my account just got deleted with no apparent reason. This was extremely discouraging, but it wouldn’t have been as bad if the tutorial was at least reasonable. 12 missions just to summon is 11 too many. On top of that, the power up and reward system is all over the place. This is a trend with these gaccha games, but I felt like I spent at least an hour hunting for all the reward tabs and trying to find which items to optimize. I’m sort of glad my account got deleted though. The game is uninspired, the missions too short, the menus too numerous, and the story is text based and bland. It’s meant to make you pump money into it, but the cost for just one pull is astronomical and the currency you earn in game is extremely limited. Maybe 3 pulls if you really try your hardest. Closer to 2. On top of that, the grinding missions are too short with recycled characters that aren’t fun to fight against. The combat is definitely fun though and it’s a shame they buried a fun combat system in all these gaccha game menus. As is, I can’t recommend this game. You’ll grow tired of it really quick after a few days and a few dollars missing from your bank account.

Lost Account and Lack of Action
This game is so addicting and amazing when I first downloaded it. Smooth animation and great gameplay mechanics. Aesthetics are well done. The story is average and co-op is weak, but the combat is fun and the dorms are essentially a light-hearted break from all the action. Unfortunately, after the Alpha update, I logged into my account only to see it was reset completely. My friends were deleted, I was level 1, my constructs, everything was lost. Mind you, I was level 64, had an SS construct, 4 decorated dorms with S-tier decor, and more. All my hard work just vanished despite it being bound to my Apple ID. Email after email with the support team at Kuro Games was evident enough to see they didn’t know what to do. They even said they couldn’t find any account bound to my Apple ID account. It was as if my account never existed. Reading the reviews on here shows me I’m not the only person this has happened to. They haven’t been able to retrieve my account and weeks have passed. This is a warning for any players who have invested so much time, money, and effort in this game. This may happen to your account as it did mine and so many others. I have never seen anything like this on other games. I don’t feel motivated enough to replay the game because what if this just happens again? I will be deleting PGR unfortunately and hopefully the game will become one that is actually playable and respects its users.

Very fun and addicting
At first the game is a bit overwhelming, with tons of buttons, skills to match up, flows to create. However once it “clicks” the flow of combat is so fun and smooth. Your skill actually matters, and while some fights function as damage checks, for most of them, you can get by extremely under leveled if you play well. Pity system is fair, quite a few characters can be gotten via gameplay. The game does loose a star because of the translation. Most of the time it’s ok, but some conversations read like Google translate was used. While the first event was handled poorly, the devs did make it right, and the current event is MUCH better. Overall it’s one of the best mobile games I have played. Definitely recommended.

A gacha that’s worth your time
In my opinion, PGR has a good story, or at least up to the first 6 chapters, because that’s where I’m at now. It’s not amazing, just good. The combat feels very satisfying and the music is just built different. From the get-go with global launch, we had a decent amount of endgame content and Kuro is still adding more over time. The gacha system seems a lot nicer than other gacha games I’ve played. I don’t normally spend on gachas, but I’m willing to support this company as they grow. Kuro Game has showed that they really care about this game and it isn’t just a cash grab. Also, for all the people upset with the global treatment at launch, the company already cleared up the controversy a long time ago by explaining why everything happened.

Every mission or activity consumes too much serum
Ever since I unlock higher content everything consumes around 20-30 serum just one attempt and I can barely enjoy the game I can’t even do certain stuff like interlude or coop since they consume like 20-30 serum and need that same amount for event farming I want the stamina to recover faster like get full stamina per hour or half at least would be better cause it feels like I’m barely touching the game for the whole day and other games never gave me that empty unsatisfied feeling before or just reduce the crazy amount of serum consumption I would give 5 star but the serum issue honestly reduces the amount of fun I can have compared to most of the mobile gacha games I had played I hope you take this review into account and make changes so I can enjoy the game more 20 mins per day cause this serum consumption rate is ridiculous

Pretty good
This game has good graphics and gameplay. Not sure about the story since I’m not a story guy. The player base is pretty small so there is little chance you’ll find a co-op team. I feel like that’s the fault of the marketing team not being active in getting new players to play. Two of the biggest complaints people have are summons being too expensive, however you can get enough currency every update to get the next new character. The other is crashes which is probably due to your own outdated devices. I have never once crashed playing this game (iPhone 13 Pro Max). In conclusion it’s a decent game, could use a few improvements, and just like any gacha game there’s a bunch of “free to play” crybabies.

Great Game.
I was excited about playing this since I first started seeing trailers for this game. I’ve gotten characters I really like and I enjoy playing it. I wish we could get more objectives per mission honestly. Fight and run to a point does get kind of repetitive, and I know I shouldn’t expect just a whole lot from a mobile game. But considering how much has been done with this one already. I’d love to see it soar to greater heights. Maybe an English dub somewhere down the line. But that’s a minor detail. I’d like to have longer missions. Maybe even type exclusive missions where you have to run specific teams. There’s so much content to cover playing this game and I love it!! Thank you guys for making something so awesome I really enjoy it!!!

Great game
Generous game with challenging content for everyone. This is not a typical gacha game where simply swiping your credit card will give you everything and the best records. There is a considerable amount of skill needed and careful consideration revolving teams for much of the content. Sure 1 DPS can help you clear alot of the content, but it won’t let you clear or obtain high scores in stronghold, golden vortex, punishing cage, ect. Managing your units and learning the mechanics of so many beautifully created characters with stunning graphics and content/story that keeps you entertained for hours makes this a game that everyone should try. If you’re FTP, PTW, or simply looking for something new. Punishing gray raven might be a great option for you to consider.

I love it
Genshin has got NOTHING on you. For a gacha rpg this is the best thing you’ll get. Even if you get bored or stop playing every day, once you get back they’ll await you with open arms and make you actually want to play again. As a former and not proud Genshin player, pgr is 1000% better. Good events, skip option, decent rewards, free 6 star, gacha. I love that you can actually choose from a selection of characters instead of having to wait months for reruns and that you don’t have to be all in to play it. With some games, if you miss something, you’re done for, but pgr does the best it can for events and falling behind. Plus, character designs are all unique and rememberable. Would recommend.

Full of Disappointment
I was really looking forward to this game, despite the game was literally a Honkai Impact 3 clone with bunch of 02 looking characters. Some may argue that the chain combo system alone can differentiate PGR’s gameplay from HI3 but let’s be honest here, it’s 80% clone alright. But being a clone is okay as long as the game is great and the devs practice fair play among servers. Unfortunately, it failed both. Game itself can’t standout compare to HI3. Being a game developed 3 years later, that little improvements in PGR just can’t impress me at all. For doubters, go download Honkai Impact 3 and play for yourselves. I no longer play HI3 but when I played the game in 2017 for the first time, it really had me addicted to it for months. Most importantly, however, like many others have mentioned, is because the devs show no respect to global server players and just trying to be cash grab. Hey devs, you know many devs want Genshin like success and many devs can’t be Guradian Tales like generous, after all you want to make money out of the game and people get it. But treating players differently will not get you what you want because players ain’t all stupid. Trying to excuse yourself as rookie naive developer won’t solve the problem and you’d potentially lose your next VC fund if you act in that manner. Go learn from other successful developers if you lack that basic moral.

Game is Great, F2P is a Dream
Will state it blunty: this game is undoubtedly amazing, but the sheer amount of pay to win vibes that Hero Entertainment is pushing onto Global are blatantly obvious. Gameplay is awesome, graphics are clean, and the story is great. This is something that is reminiscent of Honkai Impact, a great game in itself already. However, the fact that the rewards from the CN server were cut in half in the Global Server seriously makes one who doesn't intend to pay very apprehensive about playing Punishing Gray Raven. Now don't get me wrong, you're more than welcome to play PGR. The gameplay is more than enough to warrant a favorable response from me, which is why I'm not giving this a 1-star review. However, just note that if you intend to experience the full game via it's gacha, prepare to get milked dry of all your hard earned savings and barely get anything back in exchange.

One of the best games imo
I’ve been playing this game for over a year now, and i have to say that this ranks on the top. At the beginning it pretty challenging to keep up with all the character upgrades but it gets easier as you progress in the game. I personally don’t play the game to be part of meta and just for fun which makes it more enjoyable. This is one of my favorite gacha systems as you’re guaranteed an s rank in 60 pulls and a 6* weapon in 30. Some of the events and game modes can be a little time consuming but are rewarding in black cards that can help you reach a pity faster. Overall this game has a great story line and a fire soundtrack for each update, they never miss :D

Money, money, and more money
Beautiful graphics and could’ve been up there with Honkai impact 3rd but is far from it. The release on new characters are way slower plus they give nothing good for f2p players. Everything cost money or you’ll be grinding for a long time for the currency to get those characters. The UI is a little jumbled with way too much info and stuff going on to the point you’ll be confused or overloaded with info. Not very casual friendly. Also, I have an iPhone 14 pro max and my phone still hasn’t cooled down after not playing for 10+ mins. 10/10 combat, graphics, and characters but everything else seems like a mess to me and overpriced. Now, I’m get off my phone before explodes because it’s super hot after playing it for less than 30mins.

one of best games on the App Store
Let me start off by saying this game isn’t perfect but it’s very close. The characters story and like ability as well as the graphics are all great the combat is incredible but takes some skill and getting used especially if you come from genshin or honk so impact like me. The game is very much skill based you don’t need the best characters in the game to be good you can use A ranks or even B ranks. And it helps that the game is free to play friendly and the pity is less then most yacht games at 60 and 40 for new players. There is lots of good story and the events are super fun. I def recommend this game try it out I promise you will love the game.

Favorite
One of the few games that can hold my attention. Intriguing storyline, amazing characters, and even the fighting aspects, something I typically dislike, are incredibly entertaining. The fanservice can sometimes get out of hand, and the dialogue referencing current slang is a bit out of place, but thats also something I find funny. I adore the artwork featured, and it’s worth the storage. I typically don’t write reviews, but this game is my favorite by far. I genuinely enjoy this game, it feels great to progress and learn more about the characters and world they’re living in. If i had one request or complaint, it would be to give wanshi a new coating or smth. Bro deserves it.

Great Game, But Has Some Issues
Really great game! But the text is a little too small when playing on mobile. For some who have the latest model of iPhone (the one without the button) you’ll notice that it has a bar on the bottom of the screen to show you where to slide up, the bar covers info on the hexagon when viewing character info. Another issue is that when doing missions it’ll often tell you what to do such as “Ask Lee…” or something similar. These tasks are displayed on the left side of the iPhone and the text ends up being cut off due to the speaker/ front camera design. Other than these issues PRG is a really really great game! Was super excited when they announced global release! Hope to see more in future updates.

Amazing game with huge future
A very fun fast pace action game that reminds me of metal gear rising for its music and visual appearance. I really look forward to all the current content that’s out in China and japan to hit global as it is going to be amazing. The music is extremely mesmerizing and the visuals quite beautiful. If you want devil may cry or mgs rising vibes look no further. Although the launch model suffered from major trolling from community and false information due to everyone comparing to original Chinese release, this game actually on the Japan release model which the community trolls do not understand. Just ignore them and you’ll find an entertaining game.

Pretty game but…
It’s a pretty game with super repetitive, fast paced action. The gameplay gets stale after a while. Reached level 50 and just didn’t feel like continuing. Buttons and text are also extremely small. Why is the evade button so close to the ultimate button? I can’t tell you how many times i meant to dodge but popped my ult instead. The gacha rates are also really bad. And the currency needed to even get a 10 pull on the gacha becomes really hard to get after a while unless you spend. The cash shop is also unbalanced. The monthly pass requires 30 rainbow cards, but theres a pack that only gives you 28. So you’re forced to buy the one that gives 34 cards. Greedy devs who just want to milk the global community. Nothing new, moving on.

Great Game
This is a very great game with a lot of potential other than its advertising but the problem I have with is that it won't let me login into the game or my account as it will say my internet doesn't id unstable when it is before I had no problem with this game but it feels like I don't have access to the game while it just stays unused on my phone other than that this game to succeed in the market but this issue can impact on gameplay plus not to mention the game is like a farming type of game bc I always have to farm items other than that I would say this a good game and I will suggest it to many people.

Stamina and recovery
This is a really good game I play this a lot in my spare time, but I do have a few concerns/problems with it though. The main problem I have is the “stamina” in the game. It doesn’t really give a lot and it takes way to long to recover any to just do one mission. And yes I know that their is items that you can use to recover up to 30-60 stamina at a time, but I’m more so concerned with what would happen if you run out of those items, you’ll just be sitting and waiting for hours, maybe even the next day. Overall, still a solid a good game and what’s a good game without some flaws.

New Players Rejoice!
I got the game the day the PC client came out and was surprised by how easy it is to get into. The gameplay reminds me a bit of MGR but I will warn you the tutorial is titanically long. The grind is minimal with he help of auto battling as well as no real need to play it for a huge span of time like in Azur Lane for example (a game I play way too much). With all this I'd say it's pretty free to play friendly and it translates very well to controller. I now have it installed on my phone, pc, and steam deck and it runs flawlessly on all platforms. If you're story snob like myself I think you will get sucked in, worth a try to say the least

Rocky start
Not the best of starts. But the gameplay is fun. And I don’t know why people are complaining about greed this game has a low pity. You can farm all weapons up to 5*. You can farm all memories. People complain about halving rewards but then complain that a costume is p2w. They give them a costume that’s worth the rewards people still complain. You can even slowly farm for a costume. They did ruin what good will they had with the bad launch. But all they have to do is literally nothing. Just keep the game the same as other versions, and maybe roll out all of the qol changes they decided not to launch with would help.

A fun game, but it currently has some massive issues…
To preface this review, I want to state that I do love this game, and I hope that I can continue to enjoy it. The gameplay is exciting and satisfying. The story is intriguing, and I want to explore more of it. However, there have been some major issues that have cropped up that are souring the game experience. The first is in regards to the pricing an amount of their premium currency. On the Chinese server, these come in even amounts, however, on the Global servers, the amounts are smaller, but priced the same, forcing players to spend more in return for less. The second issue is with the rewards from missions for new players. The rewards on Global have been cut in half from what those on the CN servers received. The only reasoning I can assume for this is to prey on players when the first new character releases, forcing them to spend money to make up for the difference. The third issue stems from the first event they released. This event has been intentionally structured to make it impossible to complete without spending money. These issues together raise a lot of red flags as to the future of the game. But I really do hope that the developers fix these issues, as the game itself has incredible potential.
